I had to call them to see if the parts were in for my car. The young lady said Oh yeah, theyve been in. Well when where you gonna call me? Insurance company will not give you rental car until they start working on it. Other than that, the finished product was great 👍.

Please learn from my mistake and stay far way!! The staff are unprofessional, incompetent and lack integrity.I selected this location because of the 5 star rating and good reviews, but my experience was anything but positive. I scheduled an appointment to receive an estimate and have my car repaired through the Gerber Collision & Glass national call center. When I arrived at the Schererville location I was told that my appointment was only for an estimate and I would need to wait 2 weeks before they began repairing my vehicle. I do not blame the body shop for this misunderstanding since the call center provided me with incorrect information.The gentleman that performed my estimate, Guy Moore, asked the young lady at the front desk if it was possible to schedule a repair appointment sooner since the damage would only require 11 hours to repair. The young lady confirmed this was possible and they scheduled my appointment for 7 days. The estimator wrote down the date and time of my appointment on the estimate packet I received and told me that he would order the parts for my vehicle.When I came back in 7 days to drop off my vehicle, both the young lady at the front desk and the estimator said they didnt have any record of scheduling an appointment for me. To make matters worse, the estimator said he didnt order the parts for my vehicle. Neither one of them admitted that they made a mistake and they were dismissive of the situation as if it were my fault. I was told that I would have to wait another week to get my vehicle repaired and they would need to order parts. After being disrespected and basically called a liar, I left the body shop in disbelief.I immediately reported my experience to the Gerber customer service line and I was informed that an area manager would call to discuss my experience. Since then nobody has reached out to me, which tells me everything I need to know about Gerbers lack of professionalism, customer service, and integrity.

Totally exceeded my expectations- they fixed my car in 4 days which is almost unheard of when it comes to bodywork. I knew exactly what to expect every step of the way because they called or texted me once or twice a day. Thank you! Special thanks to Jim and Daniella!

This was my first dealing with Gerber collision and glass and I would say everything went pretty well. The work was satisfactory and the price was reasonable. All I had done was have a window motor replaced in my Firebird. The only thing that was irritating is how their phone calls are transferred around. I called the number for the Schererville,IN location and it transferred me to some kind of main headquarters. However, based on my first dealing with Gerber, I would go back to them.
