Horrible service. Looks like there are couple of interns instead experienced interns. They want to make their hands dirty so looking for experimenting at the cost of patients money. So be careful they will damage your gum and teeth. I wonder how others give five stars, may their own people to make it attractive to customers.

This is the first time I have gone to the dentist not scared to come back. Great service from the front desk to the tech and dentist. I didnt have to make a ton of appointments later on as the work was done right then after my check up.

My whole family have been clients of this dental works location and previous location. Dr. Valais is a caring professional provider of quality dental work. Also Rima is a delightful professional woman whom wants the best for your health & family. These qualities don’t go unnoticed unless your eyes are closed, to gracious professional individuals.I’m always delighted to go to the dentist.

Rima and Dr Valis are excellent and always friendly. For as many texts and e-mails that DentalWorks sends, they need to have online forms. I had to fill out 3 lengthy pages of paperwork in person repeating the majority of information on all 3 pages.

I called a few weeks ago for an update, I was told by the manager Lin that their system was down for sometime so the head office couldnt process my refund. I called the manager Lin today, but told shes with a patient and Elliot took my info. Its been almost 2 hours since I called today and no call back from Lin, and theyre not answering my call right now.Posted in August 5 2021:I have over $300 credit on my account since November of 2020 for an unnecessary procedure that I refused to get done (the credit was originally for around $500). Ive been trying to get it refunded to me, but to no avail. Fortunately, Lin, the manager, finally returned my call today for an update, so that is a positive development. I will upgrade my review on here once I get my full refund.

After researching on the web & selecting DentalWorks for work in various areas, such as Veneers, Administrative assistance down to the Dental deep cleaning appointments which turned out to be a positive and constructive experience. Dr. Valis is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything well in laymans terms to the patient. His humor puts you at ease and makes visiting the dentist actually fun! Rima is amazing; painless cleaning. Their office staff has greatly improved in the past couple years; friendly and kind. I do wish the cost, especially for cleaning, would be more affordable. Four stars due to the $10 ppe fee, which I find to be rather high. Otherwise, I would have given five stars for a pleasant and professional top notch experience.

She makes time to listen to your doubts or questions and you never feel rushed with her . Dr Vallis is amazing as well . Glad I have chosen them for my dental needs .

I went in for an adjustment to a crown and to discuss using a hard rubber mouth guard for sleeping because I grind my teeth at night and Dr. H. Dabbour listen with concern as we discussed that option. Great team to visit with for my dental needs.

From the front staff all the way through to the back and most importantly the dentist. Everyone is caring and nice. Gentle as can be and always checking to make sure you’re ok.

This is the only doctor’s office I know that has come up with a creative way to charge more money to their patients during the pandemic. A $10 PPE fee for every visit - even if you are not seeing the doctor. This is a scam. Doctor appointments are also very hard to get. If you need to reschedule or need a follow up, you have to wait for 4-6 weeks. They have no concept of customer service or patient care. Stay away from this place.

I called them on June 3 about an emergency broken tooth, I wanted an extraction. My appointment was the next day at 12pm.I was greeted with a smile and they both were very nice at the front desk. The lady that took the X-ray was very nice and helpful throughout the entire process in the back. I don’t like going to the dentist out of fear. Ok, the doctor come in he was very nice and very patient with me. He made sure I didn’t feel anything but the normal pressure. I would give them 20 stars if I could. My experience for a regular checkup and a cleaning were excellent. Everyone from the front desk to hygienist and the dental doctor were really nice. The team was careful and I had no pain during the cleaning/polishing. I chose this location based on online reviews, and they were absolutely correct. I dont typically take time to write reviews, but I am doing so because I highly recommend this place, and now look forward to doing regular checkups and cleanings here.

This place is always great. Rema is the best. She is so nice and gentle. She talks the whole time so you have no idea what’s happening inside your mouth. A nice distraction from all the metal to teeth action.

The staff was very nice and professional. My oral surgery went very well. The only thing that went wrong was a small mistake with prescriptions but it was corrected pretty quickly. I would come back here anytime, especially for Oral Surgery.

So glad to have them back in business. I was there for teeth cleaning. It was a little chaotic as they are getting used to the new way of working but everyone was cheerful and it was great seeing them.

You always try to do the best but this time something went wrong with schedule management. We had an appointment at 9.30am and we had to wait 2 hours before the actual treatment starts. Patient was already fasting for 14.5 hours and 2 more hours of delay. Disappointed with this visit.

Extremely Bad experienceBook me for pain after a fresh crown, knowing that I may require a root canal.Did so many X-Rays, and the X-Ray machine was not working. Took 5 shoots on one side before the machine worked.Spent 1.5 hrs in the office, at the end, go to another place.Though staff was nice but bad experience.

I have been a patient of Dental Works (Sears Dental) for about 16 years and really appreciate the great service that I receive from everyone. I am always taken care of at the front desk by Lauren, great service by Dr. Vallis and last but definitely not least Rima. Sorry if I misspelled anyones name but all you guys are great.

I came in for a cleaning. There was a person who cleaned my teeth and another person who flossed and polished my teeth. Both ladies performed their jobs exceptionally well. The doctor examined my teeth and found some cavities. All three personnel were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The front desk personnel were also all of the aforementioned. My bill (for my future service to take care of the cavities) was ready after my appointment. They prepared the bill ahead of time so I could prepare for the charges In advance.

This is the worst dental office I have ever been too. They were secretly charging me a covid 19 fee without even letting me know! For each procedure I needed, I had to keep coming into the office paying even more covid 19 fees!! They are very short on staff! Only one person can clean your teeth, causing an extremely long waiting list for cleanings.

Honestly one of the best dental offices !! They worked out options with me when I did not have insurance and they scheduled me the next day. The front staff is extremely friendly and fun and also the Doctor there and assistant made my root canal a pleasant experience it being my first one ever. During my visit the doctor really took the time to make sure my tooth was all fixed, cleaned and good to go before he finished. It’s been two days since and my tooth is feeling good and pain free!! Thanks Dental Works!! Definitely staying with them for a long time.

I was worried about getting any work done during the pandemic but I broke one of my back molars and needed help and they got me in asap and honestly it was the best dental experience Ive ever had, dude kept me calm and comfortable, staff was nice and knowledgeable im grateful to have them fix my smile

I have been coming here for years. Even when they were at the Sears before this location. I love how clean and modern this location is. But most importantly, I never wait. I only make appointments with Rima, their dental hygienist. If I have billing issues, Lauren and Michelle handle it. The dentists are quick/thorough and so are the ladies (Marianna) who polish your teeth after Rima is done with the cleaning. Now my husband comes here and so does my sister. They are awesome!

So far, so good. Ive had a great experience going to Dental Works when they were in the Woodfield Mall in Sears. Excellent dentist and always fit you in if needed. New insurance has brought me back to Dental Works and their new location. Yesterday had a teeth cleaning but couldnt get my one tooth pulled bc Im in my 1st trimester so will be back in 1 month to see the oral surgeon in my 2nd trimester. Rather be safe than sorry and I can respect that.

I am very nervous when I go to the dentist. The staff was friendly and helpful. No one told me not to be nervous. They told me they understood and it would be ok. Rima is very good at her job. Dr. Vallas is very helpful and informative. I didnt get the other young ladys name but she was great too.

This place used to be very good when they were inside the Sears at Woodfield mall. But now, it has become quite bad. On my most recent visit with my daughter, she spent literally 30 seconds in the back. No questions answered, no adjustments made, shooed in and out. Thats it. We will not be using this place any more.

Dental Works at Woodfield Mall saved the day on Monday when a crown broke off. A front one! They let me come in immediately and worked around their scheduled patients to fix me up. The dentist and staff were very conscientious about my emotional and physical wellbeing and skillfully completed a root canal and prepared me for an implant. Within a couple of hours I walked out with a temporary crown that blended in perfectly and I am very grateful!

Terrible experience. This place clearly is waiting only for your money, first they will keep asking you for an insurance & once they see that you have an insurance then your bill will go from $100 to $1400. After the X-ray was done I’ve spent an hour sitting on a chair waiting for a doctor, then doctor came in for about 5-minutes, he just said few worlds & then another person came in telling me that my bill will be $1400, but I don’t have to worry about it, because my insurance covers 50%. After that I went to different place & I paid $100 for the same thing to be done. Stay away from this place!!!. There is no reason to pay extra, when really you don’t need it. 👎👎👎👎👎. This place should not exist in Schaumburg.

The hygienist and doctor were so incredibly friendly! Also, they worked with my insurance company so the entire process was very smooth and uncomplicated.

My issue with Dentalworks is with the billing. I have had an ongoing credit on my account for some time and Ive asked multiple times that they pay it out and always find a reason not to do so. My credit has continued to grow over time due to insurance covering more than expected. I am now done with all work there and asked for the 4th time that they pay this out and I was told weeks ago that they had to submit a request to get this paid out and once approved they could do so. It is now about 4 weeks later and I still dont have an update. They are holding over $1,200 in credit, I will not be going back to this provider or recommending as I dont appreciate my money being held.

I was so nervous to go to the dentist after neglecting to go for at least 2 years, maybe 3. I fully expected the worst case scenarios and was so anxious but I knew I needed to go.The staff, especially my hygienist Alexa(?), made me feel at ease. She answered all of my questions and addressed all my concerns without being judgy or condescending. She was very thorough and explained everything she did every step of the way. There was music playing both in the waiting room and back in the exam room area, which was a really nice distraction.The dentist was also friendly but I only saw him for maybe 30 seconds, I guess that’s just the way it is though. Even the clerk who I checked out with was very friendly, we chatted a bit and she gave me information on their teeth whitening options along with prices.I find myself excited to return in 6 months, rather than nervous, anxious, or scared. Highly recommend this practice!

Not experienced dentists in tooth extractions and had no regular oral surgeon practioners though mentioned on website. Ask all questions before going for any extractions.. especially wisdom .never get your tooth extractions here..worst experience ever.

I will preface my review with how much I dislike going to the dentist, and as such, have avoided going for about 3 years. I did my initial evaluation and needed quite a bit of work done but Dental Works in Schaumburg was able to get me in a week later for the first appointment and scheduled the follow up for a few weeks later. Rema was absolutely phenomenal and made quick work of my deep cleaning and the Dentist really put me at ease when doing the rest of the procedure. They accept my DHMO and worked with me to do a payment plan through care credit. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has had bad past experiences with dental care and my husband and daughter will be going here as well!

I love the people at Woodfields Dental works. I cracked a tooth and they fit me in that afternoon. The on-line scheduling procedure is not helpful but once you get to real people they are the best!

This rating is for this visit only. My daughter had a 10am appointment she took the train from college for this appointment and had to go right back. She sat there for 2 hours and no one updated her on her wait. Others went in and out. Not until I finally called to ask why she was still sitting there did they take her in. They did not apologize to her for her waiting or tell her why she was left waiting. The procedure was not covered by insurance so I asked for a discount since she did wait 2 hours and was told one could not be given. Not sure why this happened or what was going on there but communication would have been nice.

Reception staff are amazing. It’s hit and miss with the dental Hygienist. If you’re lucky to get serviced by someone who has worked there for a long time you will get good service. If you get someone that is a temp or a traveling contractor the service may not be as good.

I have had a traumatizing fear of the dentist for over a decade. My husband went here and recommended Reema (I hope that is how she spells her name) for my dental hygienist. She was caring and walked me through every step making sure I was comfortable and in control of my care. She was very gentle and had a very calming effect on a very nervous and anxious person like me. Dr. Vallis also came in to consult, and while there were no major issues, he helped answer any and all questions. For this being my first dental visit in such a long time, I could not be happier with the care I received there and will continue to receive there. I definitely and highly recommend Reema, especially if you had/have a fear of the dentist. She is beyond great and I am so happy my husband found her to help take care of my teeth for the years to come.

Went in for them to take my wisdom tooth out since i had a very bad cavity...they took care of me fast....and they are so nice and sweet. :)

These dentists are CROOKS! They told me I had 4 cavities and needed 2 fillings replaced, which would have cost me over $400 on my DHMO plan. I didnt believe them so I switched to a DPPO dentist who told me I really only had 2 cavities. Same thing happened to my fiancé except they told him he had 4 cavities and needed a deep cleaning when he actually had NO cavities and didnt need a deep cleaning at all. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! If I could leave zero stars I would.

My dentist, Dr Vasilios is awesome and very knowledgeable. My kids love their dentist hygentist Rema. My only displeasure is the wait time for visits to the dental office. Myself and my two boys were at the office for well over 2 hours and 15 minutes for oral exams and teeth cleaning. No oral surgery was performed. I think our time spent at the dental office was a little over excessive. I would recommend placing a tv in the waiting room to ease the tension of waiting for services to be rendered.

I’ve been to this location twice, once for a new patient exam and cleaning, and then about 3 weeks later for two fillings. While there, the staff was pleasant, and I was able to get in within about 15 min of my scheduled time for both appointments. The problem I’m having with them (and thus the reason for only 3 stars) is because out of the half a dozen times I’ve called their office—every time was during their business hours—nobody has answered the phone. I’ve had to leave messages every single time. Sometimes they call me back within a couple hours, sometimes not until well into the next business day. I was overcharged by them for the fillings (I reviewed my insurance claims thoroughly), and when I initially called about it, the woman I spoke with acted like I was making it up or something and just said, “Well, when we receive the money from the insurance company, IF you overpaid, we will refund you.” It’s now been almost two full weeks since that appointment, and I haven’t heard anything from them. I just finished leaving a voicemail because they did not answer despite their office not closing for another two hours.

The dentist was great, friendly staff too at Dental Works. However, the Sears credit card processing system charged my credit many multiple times incorrectly, of which, I am currently disputing with my credit card company. My credit card put a fraud hold on my card because of it for 5 days. Also, my credit card fraud department will contact Sears directly. What a headache. Luckily, I did not use my debit card, Sear would have drained my bank account.

The service and employees were friendly but I felt as though they were trying to overcharge me by almost insisting that I get a deep clean when I have great teeth and didnt feel it was necessary. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I did not go back and went to a mom & pop dental facility.
