With the long holiday weekend fast approaching, the last thing you want is a dental problem. I called office after office this morning for a dental emergency and had almost given up hope until I found Happy Smiles. The receptionist was super helpful and showed me the utmost compassion for my situation. She was able to squeeze me in for the procedure same day. The minute I arrive I was greeted warmly. The staff here is amazing, they are friendly, informative, and you can tell they love working here. All too often we go to a dentist with the word family in the name and I have never really felt like family. Happy Smiles is completely different. I really was treated like family, by every single person I had any sort of interaction with. Dr. Aristodemo is by far the greatest dentist I have ever been to and will be switching as of today to only her. During the entire procedure she walked me through each step as she was performing it and constantly was checking my comfort level. It was the most at peace moment I had ever felt in a dentist chair. I literally fell asleep multiple times during a root canal. Anyone who has ever had one done knows they are not the most comfortable procedures. She was delicate and precise, before I left she checked on me again and went over all of the medications she has prescribed to me and even went as far as to give me her cell number in case of any problems. This has literally never happened to me before. I fear I have been spoiled with how great this office truly is. If you are looking for a dentist office that actually treats you like family look no further, you have found the right place. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Thank Dr. Aristodemo and staff!!!***UPDATE*** I just wanted to say its been 5 1/2 hours since my procedure and I have zero pain, tenderness, or soreness.

I had such a wonderful experience! There new place is cute and cozy and I feel that the service is exceptional. I felt safe that everything was clean and sanitized. They have state of the art equipment and my favorite was the digital scanner they used to make me bleaching trays. Highly rexommend!!!

Norma is the best. She is really helpful and kind. Rechelle is very jolly and kindest person I ever met she took the impressions very nicely without leaving any substance in my mouth. Dr. A is a awesome dentist, she handles everyone very comfortably and professionally and tanya did the cleaning for me she cleaned my teeths so professionally and kindly usualy cleaning hurts but when she cleaned my teeths I didnt even hurt and bleed. I know theres other people out there like me who are self-conscious about their teeth. After 30 years Im finally proud of my smile. I love making people laugh but was always mindful of my teeth- especially around new people. Im telling you that you can be free of that. If youve been nervous, if you have anxiety about things - go here. Theyll talk you through the things that they do and everyone is incredibly nice from the moment you walk in the door.

This practice is filled with supremely kind and competent staff. They communicate everything to expect, are gentle and thoughtful, and always do a beautiful job. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Amazing place...i went in as an emergency at 7.00 in the morning because they were the only ones upon and trust me if I wouldnt have visited this place i would have been at a loss. First person I meet was Norma very accommodating and sweet, then I meet tanya, very thorough in her skills and looks for patients comfort first as i was in so much pain i was pretty sure I wouldnt be able to take x-rays but to my surprise tanya did an awsum job i didnt even felt any discomfort, and then I finally meet the leader of the amazing team Dr.Amelia she is an amazing and very skillfully dentist and she took great care of me i went in with a unhappy face but left with a happy smile.....as authentic as their name.Thank you happy smiles.

Very disappointerd with dental office.The dentist is nice enough, but the office staff is very lacking.I have insurance and they have downgraded to a different level for that insurance and they never informed me of doing so even when I made it clear that the main reason I started with them is that they had the higher tier network relationship for my insurance. Stay clear of this dental practice because even with insurance, problems they can cause you will be many if they just dont have enough competence to even understand what or when they change insurance relationships and when they do change let the clients know this. The communications, at least to me, is so bad that they physically moved the office down the road and never informed me, as I live close in town and saw a sign showing another dental practice had moved in. I thought maybe they went out of business.The client should be treated with more respect than that.

Do you enjoy being taken advantage of? Then boy do I have the place for you. My entire family had been going to Happy Smiles for years, we were fairly happy and then suddenly phantom bills began showing up with no explanation as to what they were for. Calls were never returned, but we certainly were threatened to go to collection.Not only that I showed up for my appointment on the weekend and nobody was there. The place was closed up tight. Never got a phone call in advance to let me know that staff wasnt there. I had to shift around appointments on my end to even make that appointment to happen to begin with. There was never any apology, only excuses.On top of that, the staff turnover has been abundant and the newer staff is incredibly unfriendly there is a lot of discrepancies in pricing for procedures. This disorienting method causes a lot of surprise bills and if youre lucky like we were the promise of our great insurance will surely land you with random bills in the mail and the eventual threat of collection. Enjoy!

During these challenging times would you know my tooth broke and I had to get in to a dental office as soon as possible. Norma was so pleasant on the phone and she guided me as to how to prepare for the new changes due to Covid-19. I felt very safe and protected when I was there and the treatment made me feel much better. Dr. Amelia was very caring and every option was explained. Everything was explained to me in detail from the procedure to the financials. It was great that Norma did a follow up call to see how I was doing. This place is great and I would recommend this to anyone especially when things in life go back to normal.

I am extremely disappointed with this practice. They take advantage of you if you have good insurance—telling you to get procedures done that are not necessary just because they will get more money. While they all seem like very nice people and experience in the office was fine, I Will NEVER go back. They drilled away my teeth because they said it was necessary, but it wasn’t. Now I’m left with mis-shaped teeth that will never be normal again—they drill it away it won’t grow back. I went to a different dentist practice and they told me I didn’t need the procedure happy smiles did to me. Happy smiles also messed up my husbands fillings. He had to go to a different place to get them fixed. I would not recommend Happy Smiles for dentistry work. Cleanings were fine.

Watch out for this dental office!! Theyll charge you on top of insurance paying the claim in full at 100%. My husband and I have been trying to get our money back for services and have been getting nowhere!! This goes as far back as 2018. Its really sad. Be careful when you go here and stay on top of your EOBs!!!!!!!! I would not recommend them unless you dont mind paying them when your insurance already has. I wouldnt be surprised if shes over charging other clients like she is my husband!

I am super high anxiety when it comes to the dentist! Who really wants to be there? Anyway from the time I have found Happy Smiles they have always treated me with respect and even prescribed me meds for when I come here so I can be calm! It has helped tremendously! Dr. A is really good with making sure you are comfortable and out of pain. She explains everything well. Guys, I NEVER had a root canal done. I was dreading it and thinking the worst! I felt NOTHING!! Dr. A and team are great! I will continue to come here for my dental work! So glad I found them and they are super convenient to our house!

I went to their office about a year and a half ago to just get my teeth cleaned. I paid my bill & they kept billing me in the future for the same service that I already paid. I called them everytime they billed me and the lady on the phone mentioned they removed it from the system. Now I get a bill in the mail from a collection agency saying how I owe them a year in a half later. Not to mention I had horrible service I waited almost an HOUR because the dentist was so behind. She offered me a toothbrush that she was going to send to me in the mail which I never got.

Dr. Aristodemo is a wonderful dentist who is always concerned with her patients dental health and well being. I have never had a problem with any procedure she performed and look forward to her continued care for many years to come.

Absolutely love this place, when I had to search for a new dentist I was worried because I had been at the same one all my life and going to a new dentist was not something I was looking forward to. Bottom line, I am very happy here! The staff are wonderful, the location is really clean and updated with high tech equipment which is always nice. They do a great job, are honest with you, and always do things in a timely manner. The best part was having to get so many cavities filled at one time and being offered blankets and Netflix to stay comfortable during the long process! Never has that ever happened at a doctors office for me. My husband goes here as well and that definitely is a plus!

I have been going to Happy Smiles for maybe a decade now. Dr. Aristodemo is an excellent dentist. She cares deeply for her patients’ comfort and the health of their teeth. I got my braces (6 month smile) through them. I was very happy with the results! She is very professional as well as approachable. Her staff is great as well. Listen, it is a dentist office. Nobody wants to go here and everyone has varying degrees of anxiety about any dental process, BUT Amelia (the Dentist) and Norma (Front Desk) make the whole experience as positive as possible because they take the time to listen - actively listen to what is important to you as a person. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I came to happy smiles as a new patient and my son had his first visit here as well. I found the whole process to be pleasant and painless. They have all the latest technology and I found the cool factor to be pretty high. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly also I was able to do a twenty minute laser whitening on my teeth my very first day. I thought that Doctor Aristodemo was great. She seemed to be a straight shooter and was thorough in her explanation of me and my son. The hygienist did a great job a cleaning my teeth and did not hurt me. I have found the new dental office for me and my family at Happy Smiles. I had not been to the dentist for a while and was having some tooth pain. I was nervous about how bad my teeth might be. The initial visit was very thorough and they have all the newest technology. Kim the hygienist was pleasant and gave me a good cleaning. The doctor explained the problems with my teeth well, and I set up an appointment for a filling and a crown. The front staff gave me a printout of my cost and what insurance covered, and answered all my questions. I recently completed the dental work and there was no pain. I will recommend happy smiles to family and friends. My husband has his appointment next week. Thanks again!

Terrible and snobby staff. The dentist is good but I had to get same painful cavities fixed multiple times in less than a year. Better off getting 2nd opinion from other doctors

This is a fantastic dentistry! The staff is very polite and helpful as well. They made my visit very delightful, Dr. Amelia did as well!

Charging without knowing me. Sent the final notice letter to pay the charges. We have not received any letters before this final notice. On the treatment day it was very much clearly told that they will NOT charge for the day, whatever so. They should have told what they are charging up front if any before any treatment starts. Also they have not given any charges on the treatment day. Getting know only through letters. These guys sees how to get the money to be charged by hook or crook.

The place -1) This is typical commercially motivated dental office.2) The staff (the reception folks) view you as dollar bills3) The staff are pushy, may be due to revenue targets to meet.The doctors -No issues, they seem to be knowledgeable.I am surprised with the reviews, I am 99% confident all of them are posted by this office staff.

I came here 3 years ago and I thought they were very friendly and kind and at that time I didn’t have any dental insurance but they had several coupons to reduce my out of pocket expenses. I felt instant relief because I was dreading paying. This time I had insurance and had dental issues. While the insurance paid for the exam and cleaning I had to pay a little out of pocket for the work I had done which was less expensive had I gone elsewhere. The entire experience was a surprise- they’re still super friendly and kind. They made sure I was doing alright by asking me every once in a while (I don’t know too many other dental practices that do that). If you’re scared of the dentist come to Happy Smiles they’ll take care you and your teeth. Thank You Dr. Amelia and staff for helping me get through my dental experience on a positive note.

Happy Smiles has been my dentistry for over 2 years now, and I couldnt be happier with my dental care.Everyone in the office is calm, friendly, and helpful and they honestly do go above and beyond to make sure your visit is as quick and painless as possible.This practice is extremely accommodating, I once had a baby sitter cancel at the last minute, and called to cancel my appointment, but they told me to go ahead and bring my infant daughter in and theyd make sure she was content while I got the treatment I needed. The staff held my baby and calmed her down when necessary so I could get my crown installed. -And Im not the only person they do this for, I have personally witnessed them caring for another infant AND corralling a toddler while the mother was getting her teeth cleaned. This practice is amazing!You cant go wrong choosing these guys as your dental care provider, I am so glad that I did.

The office is run poorly. Bills are not sent out timely and the staff does not return phone calls or meet requests timely. Kim the hygienist is great, but the wait is always long and the office chit-chat can be distracting. After 2 years, we had to find a new office.

I had a broken tooth and was in a lot of pain. They got me in at the end of the day and stayed until 9pm for me. The entire staff was so nice and caring. Dr. Aristodemo was great and I am now pain free (after the root canal). The assistant (I cant remember her name) was also very caring and calming. PROFITS OVER PATIENTS at Happy Smiles Family Dentistry in Roselle. Our House sewer line caved in and we had sewer water in our house.. our Dentist office, where we have gone for 3 years.. and had planned to be with a long time would not waive the $75 fee for missing the appointment. Why would a company demand $75, lose good family patients and give up thousands over the next 20 years...Makes no sense.. Horrible decision Happy Smile Family Dentistry of Roselle

Love these guys! I have been going to Happy Smiles for 3 + years and wouldnt go anywhere else! Routine cleanings are painless, whitening treatment and Fadi are great, Dr. Amelia and Giovanni are great dentists and do great work!

Funny that a previous review of this practice is magically gone. This practice is terrible. They took a $300 down payment for services, failed to provide the services, and when I requested a refund, they flat out told me no, and then I received a termination from the practice letter. Very unprofessional. Where is my $300?! Then they still continue to send me mailers and advertisements. I would NEVER refer anyone to this practice. Sad to say I referred a family member here, and she also had a terrible experience. Theyre only out for your money. Turned out the service they wanted to provide was unnecessary, and I was able to have it done by a reputable dentist in the area.

Dr Aristademo and the staff at Happy Smiles Family Dentistry are wonderful. I am a nervous dental patient and the doctor make me feel comfortable each time I go. I have since recommended this office to many friends and family.

4 visits for the same Cavity and still was in soooo much pain!!! Then double charge for the same cavity. Ive had to go to another dentist just to get tooth taken care of finally. Please be cautious when someone states you have excellent insurance because I believe thats when the billing issues begin

The office is pleasant to visit and they seem to be up to date on technology and techniques. However, I got the feeling that they were only interested in me as a patient when they had expensive procedures to recommend to me (i.e. bite gaurd, filling replacement) and not so interested in providing the routine cleanings to protect my dental health but that dont generate as much revenue for them which made me feel like they were more interested in the money they could make than on doing what was best to protect my dental health (of course it didnt help that I also recently found press coverage that this is a common problem in the dental practice).

They are always warm and friendly and really make my kids feel at ease when they are there!! Love this practice!

Awful! Awful! Awful! This place should be called SAD SMILES. I had a terrible experience a few years back. I was referred to a Periodontic by Happy Smiles for oral surgery because at the time Happy Smiles did not have an oral surgeon on staff. They were in the near future going to have one. I made an appointment to the office I was referred to and asked while I was to have the surgery if I could be put to sleep and take care of an extraction I needed at the same time. A reasonable request, you know as the saying goes kill two birds with one stone. I explain I have terrible anxiety about the whole procedure and Dr. S was so compassionate. You could tell she just wanted me to feel comfortable. I scheduled the oral surgery with her and felt good about it.Later that week, I receive a phone call from the office manager at Happy Smiles (the Drs husband), he said that the place I had been referred to (Dr. Ss office) had canceled my appointment. I was a little surprised by this. I had already requested time off work for the surgery and thought it was kind of weird that the place Id been referred to would have canceled in the first place with no good reason and secondly without calling me directly. So, I call Dr. Ss office and ask to speak with the doctor. She said that when the doctor at Happy Smiles found out that I had also scheduled the extraction with Dr. S she flipped out and demanded their office to cancel my appointment at once or risk the loss of referrals. Dr S. refused to do this as she felt it would be unprofessional and not in the best interest of her patient. You see Happy Smiles would eventually hire on an oral surgeon and wanted me to wait out the extraction until they hired their oral surgeon, which they could bill for. Happy Smiles office manager straight out lied to me about the cancellation. Nuts, right!?And I was scheduled to go back to finish dental work there. Yeah, right! I wrote the doctor at Happy Smiles a letter requesting reimbursement for a crown I pre-paid for and never received. Never heard back from the doctor.This is a poorly operated business, where the owners put their wants before their patients well being. Do not count on them to advocate for you as they clearly are just in it for the money. I STRONGLY advise anyone to look away from this dental office and spare yourself any grief!In case you are wondering, I did get my oral surgery with Dr. S and I never returned to Happy Smiles. I suggest you stay far away from this place!This practice is extremely shady!!!!****NOTICE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE HAPPY SMILES RESPONDS...WRONG PLACE! **** ;) Cowards!Run away fast!!

I was reffered to Happy Smiles by a friend and thank god for that. I am almost 9 months pregnant and i had a super chipped tooth that was bothering me. My dentist was a wonderful women who made sure to reach out to my obgyn to make sure what numbing and procedures i could have done along with which medicines it be safe for me to take. I had a tooth pulled and a bone grafting done. She did wonderful making sure i was 100 percent comfortable. Ive had alot of teeth pulled this time was by the far the best experience ive ever had.. im sore now but thats ovb normal. I feel like there very family orientated seeingg as they know alot of patients by there names which ovb makes you feel that much more comfortable. 5 stars for Happy Smiles and the crew!!!

Having had some issues with my teeth previously and not having gone to a dentist in years, Happy Smiles has been a god send. I was nervous but had a great customer experience and I continue to have one.

I would have given happy smiles dentistry 5 stars but I was not satisfied with the hygienist they have on staff. My appointment was scheduled for 2:00pm I arrived at 1:30pm hoping to get in early because I had a doctors appointment scheduled for 4pm that same day. I also drive 50 mins to come out to this dentistry because Im very happy with the staff and Dr. Aristodemo. So my appointment was at 2:00pm she still didnt call me back and it was already 2:40pm I ended up leaving without my teeth being clean and driving 50 mins for nothing. So Im not happy with the hygienist but I am so happy with Dr. Aristodemo she did my 6 month smiles braces and my teeth looked like a million bucks. I also want to give Norma in the front office 5 stars shes amazing shes super sweet every time I call, she also got me rushed into see an oral surgeon same day right away for a tooth that needed to be pulled, she also called me the next morning just to check on how I was doing. Shes awesome!!! Dr. Aristodemo and Norma are amazing!
