This is my first ever experience with laser hair removal and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is so kind and genuine. They truly do care about you. The doctor is also very kind. They answered all of my questions honestly and they were very thorough with their consultation. Lisa is such a sweetheart. I felt so comfortable there and it felt so nice to be able to talk to someone who understands my pain. I’ve been debating laser hair removal for years because I’ve been so self conscious about my facial hair and I am so happy with my decision of choosing Renaissance medical spa!

I flew in to Chicago from Arizona for my first IPL and Botox treatment. From the start (scheduling my appointment) to the end (checking out) I had THE BEST experience! Elyse, at the front desk, makes you feel welcome, and like family, from the moment you walk in! Her energy is contagious! She is knowledgeable, helpful, kind and you can truly tell that she cares about not only her job and the spa, but the clients! I had an IPL to start with Gwen and, when I tell you, she doesn’t miss a beat…or spot on your face, that’s an understatement! She was very thorough in the questions she asked prior to my treatment, as well as everything I needed to do post laser. She made sure I was doing ok the entire time, because it definitely doesn’t tickle! I then had my first ever Botox appointment with Jamie. I’m 34, about to be 35, and it was definitely time. Jamie was awesome! Knew what she was talking about and you can tell is very experienced! She made me feel at ease and I definitely felt comfortable with my face in her hands. Let’s just say, I wish I lived in Chicago so I could come here again and again! However, I do know, the next time I’m in town, I will be calling Elyse and Renaissance Med Spa will be my first stop! Thank you all so much for the best 1st experience!!

In love with this Med Spa! If I could give 10 stars I would! I am petrified of needles and all I can say is fear be gone! These girls from start to finish are extraordinary. Started with the front desk and Elyse who runs that area was so inviting!! Warm friendly and perfectly on point with the check in and making me feel so calm! It was time for my filler and Botox and I was sooo nervous! I sat down in the chair and Jamie the nurse injectionist was sooo amazing. Told me everything she was going to do and made sure I continued to breath as I tend to hold my breath when I’m scared. Elyse stopped in and was sooo sweet and offered to hold my hand. Sweetest thing ever! Honestly Jamie’s touch was so light and painless I didn’t even feel it! It was so exciting because after spending so much time being so nervous I learned when you go to a place like this med spa I will never have to be nervous again! After today I can say I actually had the best time doing this and I am actually looking forward to doing it again. I had the opportunity to meet Gwen, the skin care specialist, and Lisa, the manager and every one of these women that run this med spa are truly beautiful inside and out!!! Honestly, I never do reviews but this med spa is beyond worthy of being acknowledged as the best med spa ever!!! Thank you girls, one and all, for providing and sharing with me this wonderful experience!!

Renaissance Med Spa is top notch. The minute I walked in this beautiful space I knew I was in a caring and professional environment. The staff is AMAZING! I have so far had the pleasure of having treatments by Gwen, Lisa and Essie. Each one of them are so knowledgeable and really took their time with me to address my concerns. After a great consult they were able to recommend best treatments to get the results I was hoping for. I am thrilled with the results and to have a plan going forward. It’s wonderful to find a place that combines professional medical grade work in a beautiful setting!

Very unprofessional and unpleasant service.I did botox and filler at this place. Did not get any results for botox and she put more filler on my left side and it was very noticeable. I came back after 1 month and I found out I came to late and if I wanted any more service I have to pay extra. Botox should last at least 2-3 months so I dont know why she said I came to late???? She didnt even notice the difference between my right and left cheek!!!! I am very disappointed and do not recommended this place to anyone!!!!

I have been going to Renaissance Med Spa since they first opened! Every member of the staff is stellar: professional, friendly, excellent at their job. I always feel so comfortable when I am there. My results have been amazing for every service I have received, but I would like to highlight a few.Not having to shave everyday has changed my life! Seriously, if you are thinking about getting laser hair removal, do it! It is so, so worth it and Renaissance is the best! Before I found them I had been getting laser hair removal elsewhere with no results. I couldn’t believe the difference after just a few treatments at Renaissance.I have struggled with acne since I was a teenager and Gwen has helped me manage it beautifully through a combination of chemical peels, hydra-facials, and good skincare.I highly recommend that you check Renaissance Med Spa out. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Cucco and his fabulous team are the absolute BEST! I always have the most wonderful experiences with the team, and leave feeling so confident and refreshed. Their communication is top notch for starters, as they aim to help you understand everything about your treatment, before diving in. They are clear and caring, which gives this lovely spa such an inviting character.I absolutely love their laser hair removal treatments. I even began noticing a difference after just the first visit. The results are astounding, and it’s an easy in-and-out visit. I could not recommend them more!!

Please do not go to this place if you care at all about your lips..I received the most uneven, lopsided fillers from Denise and expressed my concerns not only right after my filler but a few days after.We all know bruising and swelling happens, but this filler was simply unevenly injected.It was so terrible I wanted to cry. I received opinions from a couple injections and they were shocked at how poorly the fillers were done. They indeed confirmed it was too much filler. I spent $300 dissolving my lips because it was that horrendous. I followed all guidelines (put arnica gel and took tables, avoided straws, etc)I texted Denise my injector and called the SPA multiple times to express my concerns before even writing a review. The manager, Lisa, called me back and was so rude to me. She did not once empathize with my experience, but in fact told me it was my fault for not waiting 2 weeks. There was no accountability taken. Not even a partial refund.It breaks my heart to have such an experience and it sucks that this place doesnt care about its people, but just money.Please do not go to this place if you care about your lips :(

I recently visited the Renaissance Med Spa in their brand new location. Their new location is beautiful, inviting, spotless and welcoming. I was greeted at the door by a warm and friendly associate who asked me several health related questions, as well as took my temperature and made sure I was wearing my mask. Everyone at the front desk was warm and friendly. Lisa had done my eyebrow tint and lash curl. While in her care, she made sure I was comfortable and felt safe regarding COVID protocol. Lisa did a fantastic job. I love my brows and lashes and would highly recommend the services I had to anyone looking to give their face an extra glow.

I absolutely LOVE coming here! I am greeted with absolute kindness every time I come for my appointment. Elyse, the front desk coordinator, is so sweet and funny and is very knowledgeable about all the products and services and answers all the questions I have. Jamie does my filler and botox and she literally is an artist with that needle. She knows exactly what I want, even when it is hard for me to explain. I trust her with my face and I will never go to anybody else. Lisa has done my facials in the past and that girl has such great energy in her hands that makes you feel so relaxed and will leave you glowing. I alway leave happy and feeling beautiful every time I come here. Highly recommend it!

Had my first experience at a Med Spa here. They made me feel very comfortable and I am very happy with the services provided.

For years I suffered with hormonal acne and large pores, feeling fatigued. Dr. Piper cured my adrenal fatigue and put me on a plan. Gwen is my esthetician who has transformed my skin. Gwen has a talent and knows what your treatment your skin needs. I’ve had peels and skin pen treatments that diminished my hyperpigmentation. I feel so comfortable in my own skin without wearing makeup. I also saw Jaime for Botox and lip/cheek injections. Wow, so talented . Overall, the staff Elyse and Lisa are very welcoming and know their client base. I’ve never been happier with my results . I highly recommend Dr. Piper, Gwen and Jaime.

Everyone is so nice and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Even when you talk to them on the phone! Elyse is hilarious and wonderful. She is typically at the front desk when you call or walk in. She makes you smile anytime you talk to her.The place is beautiful! And they have so many services for anyone and everyone.I am currently with Lisa Melone getting laser hair removal. Its definitely awkward when you are getting certain places done like me. But Lisa makes you feel comfortable while its getting done. Im pretty comfortable with my body but I know Im not in great shape. I felt no judgement what so ever from Lisa! It will take a while but I am excited for the end results and will writing another review when its all done.Lisa also just did my eyebrow wax. I hadnt had them done since before quarantine so they were in desperate need of attention. By far the best wax Ive ever had. Im not going to anyone else ever again. My mom even complimented them without any prompts.Lisa also did a back facial on me. I had never had one before and had no idea what to expect. It was amazing. I had had an especially difficult day at work. To the point where I still working while in the waiting room. The back facial was exactly what i needed to improve my day. I was so relaxed afterwards and slept so well that night. I think Im going to add this to a monthly routine.The next service on my list will be a regular facial. Im sure that it will be just as wonderful as the back facial.If you are looking to improve your overall confidence in yourself, this is the place to go!I highly recommend Lisa Melone for anything! You wont be sorry!

Not only is Renaissance Med Spas new space beautiful, the team Lisa Lahart has assembled is top notch. Jamie is so aesthetically talented as an injectionist and well versed in every product. Gwen, Lisa M. and Essie are all very knowledgeable regarding skin care & maintenance and clearly love what they do. The Spa is comfortable, welcoming and I always look forward to being greeted by Elyse who is bursting with personality. There is a real sense of comradery with the team. Its reassuring to know they truly care about each client and their outcomes.

My treatments are done with an Esthetician named Lisa Melone who I have been seeing for years. She is very sweet, professional and extremely knowledgeable in all the services she has provided for me over the years. Along with those listed above, I have also received a number of facial treatments from Lisa. I have struggled with acne most of my life and there is nobody who has helped me more in finding a solution that works best for my skin. If you are looking for someone for your skin care or other beauty needs, I couldnt recommend anybody more.

I had been wanting to have Botox but was a bit nervous about it. I happened to be in the neighborhood and figured Id stop in (with my 2 year old) just to find out the costs and procedures and such. Well I was quickly put at ease and even ended up getting the injections right then! It was quick, relatively painless and I was done. Im happy I went in!

This past Tuesday I went out of my way to hire an uber to make it here promptly. Im a clear communicator and told the receptionist at the front desk that my driver was waiting for me and I simply needed to purchase a bottle of Latisse. I explained to her that I brought $100 in cash and that she could charge the remaining balance of $79 to my cc card. Instead of listening to me she took my $100 in cash and charged my Mastercard a total of $179. As she handed me my receipt she neglected to give me a receipt for the $100 in cash I handed her. I was inconvenienced for her mistake and one of the front desk staff Elise decided to instead adjust the charges back to $79 rather than simply handing me my $100 in cash back. The spa placed a hold of $179 on my cc card then charged me $79 as the adjusted price and kept my $100 in cash to boot! I literally watched in horror as my bank showed me the hold of $179 so on Wednesday I took yet another roundtrip uber ride all the way back here so I could have a hard copy of all the transactions and a separate copy of the cash they received. This past week was a complete nightmare for me as I had to make a few trips to my bank to add additional funds to my bank account to make sure all my bills would be paid and to keep an eye on my bank account in case the additional amount of the authorized transaction of $179 went through. All of this could have been avoided had they simply apologized once they charged $179 to my cc card and at that time simply handed me my money back in full which was the $100 cash I gave them. I spent $15 of my own money via multiple uber trips to collect all these receipts and then I had to replenish funds to my bank because a hold of $179 was placed on my bank account from Tuesday till this past Friday. No one issued me discounts toward future products for my inconvenience rather the front desk manager warned me to not even attempt to contest charges should anything go wrong because that would implicate me as an attempt to steal their product. This experience was truly negative and stressful. I wont wish to return here because everything was mishandled and this was a true example of poor customer service.
