I have enjoyed working with AppleOne. My Recruiter Regan J, was very passionate with helping me obtain my current role. I didnt feel like just another recruit, but that my skill set was valued and warranted to be placed in a role where I could grow and excel. Considering being hired during a pandemic, the pay is good and the opportunity to work remotely is even better! I would DEFINITELY continue to refer prospects to AppleOne! I am so glad I have a mind of my own and chose not to look at previous reviews! Not sure who other candidates worked with, but my experience has been AWESOME! Thank you for the opportunity!
Great experience with this company. Connected me with an incredible opportunity that would have been very difficult to get alone. Also, helped me significantly in the process of prepping for the interview and has been very responsive from a communication standpoint. Overall, real people striving to help people in their pursuit of real opportunities. Highly recommend!
Jason at AppleOne provided me with incredible support in my job search. He is very response, patient, and in-tune with finding the perfect candidates for each job. Jason is actively involved with clients and candidates to find the right match and my experience was significantly less stressful knowing he was working on my behalf. After struggling through the challenging impacts of a year during Covid, I started to work with Jason at AppleOne. Within just a few weeks, Jason helped me find, interview, and secure a fantastic job doing exactly what I wanted to do. The AppleOne team is incredibly attentive and supportive not only when you first meet, but throughout the entire job-search and follow-ups well after your new work begins. I would recommend working with Jason at AppleOne to anyone who needs help and support in finding a quality job.
I worked with the Chicago office. While I was interviewing and applying for jobs on my own, getting to a second round was tough. AppleOne helped move me quickly through the process and get placed with a great company. While it is short term for now, considering how getting work through the pandemic was, Im optimistic for my next placement to be full time.
Working on Assignment has been a fantastic experience thanks to AppleOne. From my recruiter to their HR team, this has been a rewarding assignment. They found me during the pandemic and were determined to ensure that I was hired and working as soon as possible.
I have had the best experience with AppleOne, Jan Cotton has been the best person to work with she is professional, responsive, and encouraging. The entire team has helped me through the process of working on my next new career.
Lets face it....If we could find our dream job on our own, we would not need a staffing firm! Due to a disastrous and unprofessional staffing firm experience in Oakbrook Terrace and the Covid 19 pandemic, I realized it was time to try a different approach with regards to my career. I am very grateful I found AppleOne! It was a great experience from the very beginning. I was able to specify exactly what I was looking for in my next career path and within 5 weeks I was able to start an assignment that has absolutely been amazing. The AppleOne team was very helpful in preparing me for the assignment, and has been unbelievably supportive throughout the entire process. Jason and Regan have treated me more like family with their follow-up, on time educational requirements, and suggestions in navigating and communicating at my current assignment. Thanks to AppleOne I am honestly within 1 or 2 more pay periods from being offered a full time position with full benefits at a top 5 national organization with phenomenal opportunities ahead. I could never have found an opportunity like this. Indeed we can Link, CareerBuild, or Zippy do Monster along with all the career options out there......Why? AppleOne did all the work and made sure to listen to exactly what I had to have in my next career step. Thanks again AppleOne! Your service team did a GREAT job! Your professional approach, integrity, honesty, and value for your employees is sincerely appreciated! STAY SAFE!
AppleOne Team in SchaumburgExpect a pleasant disposition and a very human centric career approach. Partner with a great team which is considerate and takes their associate’s and client’s needs to heart to develop successful results.Veronica M., AppleOne Associate
The company stuck with me and found me a position I really like!
I am over qualified for the positions I was initially presented. Never been placed with a single position after assuring every time my information was submitted. I even spoke to a manager and they assured me the same thing and days later, Id get another excuse about the client not responding or canceling their contracts. Overall, my experience was completely unprofessional and unsuccessful and I am convinced my information was being used for other purposes. Every month Id end up with a different recruiter. I was always told that the last recruiter either quit or was let go. I would never recommend this establishment.
I recommend AppleOne Employment, and in particular the Chicago office, as excellent and dedicated professionals will work with you closely and guide you through the employment search process.
SHOULD BE CALLED: AppleOneDavisAs the Operations Coordinator, Melanie Davis role is pivotal for the Chicago offices day-to-day functions. Melanie epitomizes the characteristic qualities of a business professional by promptly addressing candidate concerns. Melanies Customer Service skills and multi-tasking abilities demonstrate that she is an integral asset to AppleOne, and she always conducts a follow-up to ensure your issues have been properly resolved. Melanie has proven that making a positive contribution has a significant impact upon client relations. Melanie consistently has done a GREAT JOB representing AppleOne throughout from our first meeting, and she is pleasantly a welcomed addition to the AppleOne Team.
So, I yelped this company back in 2015. I tried to write a second review but it didnt work. Thank goodness there are more than one platforms to share your experience.I currently work for this agency and have experienced complete incompetency. Most recently, my recruiter Angela Forcucci got me a job. I love my job and I get to work with some amazing people. However, what I was hired for and what I am doing is completely different. I am doing work of a system analyst and that is nowhere near what I was hired for. Sometimes things like this happened. A good agency would recognize this and make up the pay with fair market. Unfortunately, I was told by Angela that I had to wait to December. So, I waited. Now December is here and she tells me I have to wait to February. I will wait for February just to hear her say that I have to wait till March. Ironically, my contract is over in March. I have never been handled like this from any agency. This is a lesson learned.Now. the payroll coordinator, Melanie Davis completely messed up my paycheck. 1st she overpaid me and then she sends me a form that was so tiny I couldnt read it, she sends back another one. I signed it, check the box stating that I WILL SEND A CHECK. Can you guess what she did? She took it out of my payroll!!!! The Branch Manager, Marissa Battiest, tried to justify the illegal deduction from my paycheck and basically told me if I have a problem, I need to take it up with the legal department. I think I will do just that, thank you for your advice.I am reviewing this company based off of my personal experience.Go to Yelp for my previous review regarding my experience back in 2015. I had a paycheck issue then too.Thank you!
I worked with one of the recruiters from AppleOne and attended F2F interview for an IT job in Chicago, and was told that I was selected for the position and extended the offer letter after couple days of interview. And they sent me all the paper work needed to complete as part of the on-boarding process and I send them back including personal documents. When I called couple times to find out the start date of the project, to my surprise they mentioned that the position that I was offered for is not approved by HR(end client). Its no joke at first place no position would come out without HR approval and the hiring manager told me they did interview many candidates for that position. There is no answer to my questions asked to the recruiter over the email. These people are really unprofessional, unethical, and insane they do not have any respect or values towards another person. I had to loose my another job offer due to this company. Its a total fake, I believe they are gathering all the sensitive information like someone mentioned in the other reviews for their own benefits. Be extra cautious while dealing with these insane people.
Applied online thru LinkedIn for a job they posted, so they had me go through their application process; what a waste! I filled out all this information online which they didnt have when I came to the office and this lazy recruiter had me send her my references. I call back a week later to check the status and it was like we never even talked after spending 2 hours in that damn office. They do everything in that office but work! Terrible - never again!
At first I thought it would be a pleasant experience, the recruiter seemed friendly and like she was actually listening and would help me find the perfect fit. Turns out she was only looking out for herself to get commission for placing me anywhere. I tried talking to her several times that the job she placed me in was not working out but she just wouldnt listen and told me I had to work there and she would stop by weekly and make sure I was doing my job. She was extremely rude afterwards, so I just didnt show up anymore. She then kept calling and texting me to answer her and became the friendly recruiter I met at first. I would not recommend going with them, she was supposedly one of the best recruiters there.
Very unoraganized, unprofessional, doest communicate well with each other having you email your resume over and over. every person you deal with becomes unavailable no forms of communicating never got sent on an assignment never return calls
I recently worked with ApplOne Employment in Chicago. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. I was hired for an internal position as an operations coordinator. I was told it was a Full-time/Permanent position. Well, the week before our regional Manager, Shane Riley, is rescheduled to come out for a visit from CA, he calls to speak to each of us individualy. He thanked me for my hard work, for coming out with guns blazing, wanted to talk about a promotion and getting me into a role making more money, and thank me for fixing my attendace issue. (I had the actual flu, Strain A with a docs note, a dentists note from an infected root canal...) Not like some of the other employees. (Even the new Assistant Branch Manager, Matt Petrash, asked me about certain peoples attendance patterns.) My in/out time changed 3Xs, but I made it to work on time regularly unlike the Branch Manager, herself, Marisa Battiest, and other employees as well. I was called by Marisa after hours, the Friday before Shanes arrival, and told that we decided that today would be my last day. I had no clue it was coming. No written warning, or affirmations (their form of correction). Only a general warning at morning meetings (and when I called to tell her I had the flu. She asked me to please still come in, so I did.) I was asked to come in at about 10:00 on Monday to return the suite pass and key. I arrived at 8:40, the time of the morning meeting. I wanted to ask what happened and why... To me, I was used to clean up a holy terror of a mess, then I wasnt needed any more. I was told that it had nothing to do with performance. (I already knew that.) Even without real training (2 days of a member of Corporate coming out to chit chat) or mentoring, I feel I was picking up and keeping pace rather well! Shane wanted to end things on a good note. I was going to be placed immediately.(Sure, the could make commission off me!) I asked about my final check... to just have mailed to me, I didnt want to have to come back in. (I commute.) Oh, the paycheck I received on Friday WAS my final check. AND I was shorted 10hrs!!!! They do not treat their employees well, so why would you expect them to find quality employees for you? #BEWARNED
A waste of time! I interviewed with them back in May 2017 and I still havent been contacted for a assignment. Very unprofessional and I could not get in contact with my recruiter properly. She never returned phone calls and never left voicemails.
No results. Unprofessional staff. They use candidates information to get new business. People looking for work are not priorities.
I have to say Im really dissapointed. I went in for the interview and was excited to be placed in a job, seemed like everything would work well. After the interview, which happened December 2nd, I have not heard anything back. When I called for an update the advisor told me I needed to be patient. Its almost Christmas and I havent heard any response or update. No courtesy calls, nothing. I even applied for jobs through their website and still no response.Im really dissaponted, I got my hopes up for what possible opportunities I would never encounter.
Its up beat on what they have to offer.
They really dont do nothing for you when u get a job. They wont tell u when ur time up help you with your complaints they the worst company ever
I wish I looked at the review from 6 years ago. They are still the same. I almost forgot if you do decide to work there they dont hire people over 40 years old (just to look good they might let you work for a week and them fire you REALLY!!!!.
