Tamara did my hair. I came in for a textured silk press. I washed my hair a week later and my curl pattern and texture is different. My hair is even straight in some areas. My hair has a sulfur type smell to it. And my scalp is tender and itchy. When I brush my hair it brushes so straight it looks like I have a relaxer. She must have used some type of chemical on my hair. This is devastating because I had natural hair 4-6 inches from my tailbone. Ladies, our hair is so important to us. It takes us a lot of effort and time to get our hair healthy and long. And it doesn’t take long for someone to destroy everything we worked hard for. Don’t put your hair at risk. Go to another stylist!

Honestly this is the first time I will get a professional treatment and well done job from a salon since I have been living in the United States. We recently moved to Schaumburg and never knew there is a salon that can do such a great job I usually drive as far back to Chicago to get my hair done but tried google to find a good salon around me and I found lux and the rest is this is my salon hence Fort. Tiffany did a great job on my hair gave me the exact style I wanted without telling her what I actually wanted I just told her I need something good to go to church the next day and she blew my mind. Thanks Tiffany👍🙏. Everyone in the salon are so professional and knows what they are doing and treat you well, they are quick and and fast no side talks or being on their phones like some other salon I have visited. First of all I Love my hair! And so did my man! Teresa was very warming. Her people skills were outstanding, meaning she will make you want to keep coming back! She has great knowledge on hair and what youll need based off of what you tell her. Luxe Salon 💇 was really nice and the music was calming.

This is my first time coming to Teresa and Luxe Salon. I wanted a short cut and color for my natural hair. I sent Teresa pictures ahead of time telling her what I wanted. She even called me the day before to have a quick consultation to make sure we were both on the same page regarding the services I wanted. The day of she was timely and the salon staff were very friendly and inviting. She told me the steps she was going to take to achieve my look. When she was done with my hair even the staff said she did an awesome job with my hair. I have been nothing but smiles since my hair cut. I would definitely be back because the salon atmosphere was warm and inviting. Teresa is a very nice, knowledgeable, and talented cosmetologist. I dont trust everyone with my hair but Ive found that I know I can trust her.

I found the number online and called spoke with Flora I sent her picture of French braids and told her I wanted five french braids and she told me it was $20 per braids I really needed it done so I was okay when I arrived at the shop she was very friendly and nice and once she started doing my hair it turned out to be a disaster she thought I wanted a braids called feedins which was shown on the picture that I sent her however I just thought they were regular French braids once she started doing these feed ends I was quickly disappointed because they were very uneven she had pieces sticking out they were huge and not looking good at all! I then said all I want is 5 French braids and she said oh okay she started to do the French braids they were huge they were uneven and she kept asking me to part my own hair and to show her how to do it she didnt tell me she was in her school and I was really nervous needless to say it took 2 hours to do the worst braids Ive ever seen and she needs a lot of work training I was very unhappy she tried to charge me $60 I left her 40 just because Im a nice person I went to my vacation with my hair a mess and I am very disappointed. She is a nice lady but not good at all at braids bad experience will never come back

Had an appointment 15 mins go buy and still nothing. I walked out the door and get home and then the stylist/owner calls to see if I left. Stylists do not book an appointment if your not going to be ready and then still want people to pay you full price! And will be the first ones to bad mouth an Egyptian salon. At least they are ON TIME!TO THE OWNER Tamara, if your shop is so busy on a Saturday just like any other PROFESSIONAL salon, then perhaps the scheduling should accommodate that. I would not have you waste my time AGAIN. But thank you for wasting it the first time. Being busy on a Saturday is absolutely no excuse. Especially with a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

Teresa tightened a weave I had done at another shop; she also trimmed and styled it. Ir’s NEVER looked better!!! She also did a *killer* job with the tightening! Looks like I’ve had an awesome facelift! No pain, just looks great!!! I will be returning! I can’t recommend her highly enough! :D I’m super happy with my hair. Thanks Teresa, and thanks Luxe!

I’ve been coming to Lux Salon for several years now and I will never go anywhere else. Teresa is my hair stylist and she’s absolutely amazing! She’s truly passionate about hair and make up and you can see it in her work. She’s friendly, dependable, very accommodating (she’s opened her schedule for me last minute a few times to get me in), and personable (love the mimosas I get to enjoy while getting pampered!) Most importantly she’ll have you looking right and ready to slay the day! Teresa and Lux Salon do not disappoint. Would highly recommend!
