Needed my racing tires put back onto my wheels. They knocked it out quick and help load them into my car. Really nice group of folks work there. Will be back for sure.

They balanced and mounted 4 new tires along with a 4 wheel alignment. They were very professional and friendly. I will for sure bring my business back here!

I had some tires shipped and installed here. Never been there previously, but was looking for a local shop to perform the work. Had a 4 wheel alignment done, balanced and mounted the tires with no issues whatsoever. I also appreciated getting the print out of the before and after wheel specifications done by the computer alignment. Besides the numbers, I can feel from driving and the ride quality that the alignment/tire mounting were done properly. A few days after I came in, the owner messaged me via text and thanked me for my business, making sure I was satisfied with the work performed. A good act of professionalism that did not go unnoticed and shows to me the confidence this shop has in their service. If need be, Ill very likely come back to DJs.

Dan (The owner) is a very knowledgable and respectable guy, who not only took care of my car but educated me on what exactly needed to be done and the science behind it all. Chris and his team did a great job installing my tires. Reasonably priced and got my car back to me quick. My dealership told me I needed new rear brakes, told me they were paper thin and needed to be replaced. I asked Chris to check them out as well. He called me back and said I had about 50% life left on the brakes and they were fine. Great work and honesty deserves a 5 star rating. Ill be back when my brakes really need to be replaced. Excellent service, as always. This time car stalled and difficult restart with carbon on spark plugs. I thought fuel injectors. They thoroughly inspect and find failed EGR valve caused large backup of emission gases in intake system. Replaced EGR, cleaned entire intake system, fuel injection system and throttle body. Car runs much better.

Thesr guys are great! My tires were leaking around the rim due to peeling chrome and corrosion. Also my tire pressure monitoring sensors needed to be replaced. DJs replaced the sensors (I purchased through Tire Rack), removed loose chrome and corrosion, and rotated my tires. Both Costco and Discount Tire previously tried - unsuccessfully- to stop the leaks. DJs took the time and had the expertise to do the job correctly. Service was prompt and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.seal my

I use them for Uhaul but I must say each individual I came in contact with was friendly and knowledgeable. DJ’s is a full service auto repair place. I do a fair share of work on my own cars, but a few times I got in over my head and they helped me finish the job for a fair price. When I have needed them to do some work because I couldn’t do it myself for lack of knowledge, tools, or time, they’ve always given me fair quotes and have been sure to point out issues they’ve seen and let me know what they’d recommend do then, or if a repair could wait a little while. The guys here have always been super friendly and helpful. Once they even offering to drop me off at my house when I otherwise would have had to wait for someone to pick me up. Appreciate their great service and staff. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great repair shop!

Went in for a pre-purchase inspection of a used car. They were very thorough and brought us into the shop to show us what they found. We ended up not buying the car. It was well worth the price of the service. They were friendly and courteous too.

Dan at DJ’s has always been fair, they not only take care of your current car issues but lay out and diagnose potential future problems. Most importantly, they don’t try to sell you the future services needed that day, they just give you warnings and advice on potential future repair needed. I’ve had my car serviced for many things here and they have never disappointed!

I have a 2007Mazda that has 244000 miles. A couple of years ago I thought it’s days were numbered as it had a number of problems. I took the car to DJ’s and they had it running like new for a very reasonable price. Now fast forward to today, I’ve added another 40,000 miles and is still running great. I’d like to thank Dan, Chris and DJ’s for their honesty and professionalism.

I recently went to DJs for an oil change and was impressed with the staff and service. Great customer service and competitive pricing. I was in an out in less than an hour. The staff went over recommendations for me, but they were not pushy which I appreciated. The waiting area is clean and a nice place to sit and wait for your car. Dan has been in the industry for many years and definitely knows what to do to help fix any car issues.They also re-purpose car oil so they can run a green business. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend DJs for all your car needs!

I love this place! Dan and Chris are very service oriented and super friendly. Prices are competitive and theyre honest people. They help me understand what I need to consider in the future and I love that they dont try to rip me off like other places have in the past. I trust them and they will always have my business. From a convenience stand point, they always drop me off at home when I come in first thing in the morning and today when I dropped off my vehicle for some work and mentioned that I was going to use Uber to bring me back to pick up my vehicle, they offered to pick me up and bring me back to the shop. I blew my tire out somehow (I needed new ones) and I am not confident changing my own tire, so I looked online and these guys were down the street. Its usually $10 to pop a spare on, but they did it for free. I needed new tires anyway, so they ordered them real quick and got me in a day or two later. I also got my oil changed. I was probably 10 minutes past closing time picking up my car (sorry guys) because one of my pets died suddenly so naturally my heart broke and I lost sense of time. They were super sweet to me anyway, and I didnt have to explain what happened or anything. The next day the owner texted me and said the next oil change would be on them. I am a happy customer, and the work was all done perfectly. Ill be back and also recommending them to anyone who is looking.

DJs Auto was recommended to me by a neighbor. All of my interactions validated that Im glad he helped me discovered the team there. I presented them with a unique challenge and they well exceeded any expectations I had about how theyd be able to help. What I suspect most people want from an auto service entity is honest information and suggestions as though our car was their own and the money being spent was their own. I had the good pleasure of speaking with Dan and his team at length and can tell that this is their very approach. Make relationships for the haul not for a quick buck.

Ive been taking all of my cars to DJs for well over 15 years, and Ive had nothing but positive experience. Dan & his staff are quite knowledgeable & helpful. Ive found prices to be fair & competitive, and they always go the extra mile to ensure that Im satisfied.

I came in for a mounting and balancing rear tires, as well as balancing fronts and an alignment. Setup the appointment with them earlier and they took me in as soon as I came in. They came recommended from Speed Inc.Upon inspection of the front tires they advised against balancing and alignment as it would be useless due to tires conditions. Recommended getting new fronts before that. As far as I know, they dont sell tires and they were not trying to push their own products on me. In other shops they would probably just continue with alignment that would have been proven useless. Definitely coming back for all my racing tire needs. I was mounting 315 drag radial nittos,

I couldnt recommend this place more! I had them do a pre purchase inspection on vehicle that to my eyes seemed great. Dan and his crew were able to identify a bunch of issues, saving me what would have been thousands of dollars of repair costs. The pricing is very fair I believe, and the guys are straight shooters. I didnt get the impression theyd ever try to upsell you anything.What impressed me the most was the detailed walkthrough they gave me of the issues, making sure I understood what they were and not just walking out with a checklist. They offered their professional opinion on whether the listing price was fair, and were willing to give me a personal opinion on the side too.Bottom line: this will be the new standard I hold other shops too.

Everyone at DJs are consummate professionals. Ive used them for 3 years now for any and all auto repair. They are not only good mechanics, handling some complicated electrical troubleshooting for me, like a boss. But also consistently look for ways to help customers out. They do not attempt to run the bill up by offering frivolous repairs, but will tell you when your vehicle is unsafe. You would be hard pressed to find a better repair shop in the Schaumburg area.

Dan is an absolute scum bag. He was clearly intoxicated. His front desk guy wreaked of cigarettes. I had my car quoted at 3 different companies. DJ Automotive was the ONLY one that over quoted, and not by a little. Dan was caught in lies and almost lost his business recently. Do not trust them. They talk a sweet talk but are definitely scammers. Also the great reviews you see; they were written by Dan, Chris and employees. You have to have so many good reviews to get a good rating. I personally know this because Dan the owner asked me for the favor in exchange for an oil change. Really? If you do business with DJ Automotive, goodluck.

Honest and reliable! This is the ONE AND ONLY place that I will be bringing my cars to get them repaired. My family owns a 2010 Highlander that had the engine and traction signs on. I took it to a toyota dealer, NTB, and another auto shop to compare repair costs, and everyone said it would cost $150 just for the diagnostic test and if theres something wrong w/ the transmission, it would probably cost a couple grand. Was debating on whether to sell or fix the car, so we took it to a Carmax and met Jerry who told me to check this place out. Chris, who seems like a manager at DJs, was really nice, and he showed me that some animal had chewed on the cords connected to the transmission. So I was able to fix my car for less than $300 and pass the emission test!Then my fam took this Highlander on a road trip to Great Smoky Mts last October. As we were driving down the mountains, we smelled burning scent that alarmed us to stop at a local auto shop in TN. They told me that I had to replace my front brake pads, rotors, and calipers, but since I had found DJs, I didnt want to get it serviced there. And that effin auto shop in TN charged me 30 min labor fee and scared me that the car will break down in the middle of the highway if i dont get it serviced. But we made it back home just fine and when ppl at DJs looked at the car, they told me that everything was fine; the front bake pads still had 90% pad life while the rear had 60% remaining. (We learned that its pretty common to smell that burning scent if you hit the brakes too hard and often as you drive through the Tail of the Dragon) Anyways, DJs didnt charge me anything, not even labor cost, to get it looked at! They genuinely treat you like a friend brought in the car. Its mid-Dec now and my car is perfectly fine.Just remembered to leave this review cuz my dads friend called to ask about this place. highly and strongly recommend to everyone!!
