I lost planet fitness as a franchise. Its convenient and reasonable. However this location has the worst ventilation I ever seen among multiple states and multiple occasions. Not only is hot it also smells with gasoline.Staff is wonderful as always. Its not their fault owner doesnt invest in air conditioning

A literal dungeon of a gym, completely underground with no windows and sharp hospital-like bright white lights. In the summer it always seems to be humid. There are only two squat racks, yet 50 cardio machines that never seem to be anywhere close to full. There is also nowhere to fill up a waterbottle.

Experienced PF years ago with a friend and it was nice, not my home gym but if there was a one time paid pass opportunity Id go

Scarsdale Location: I feel that Planet Fitness is now in a better position than a year or two ago. I dont really know if its under new management, but the individuals that are working the front desk and the floor are excellent. The bathrooms are much cleaner and the main floor is well attended to. Thank you to the individuals who are handling it all....day and night.

Neat and staff is friendly. Its in a quiet and safe neighborhood too

Water fountains were off. Showers were cold. And tons of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I suggest you choose a different location.

This planet fitness is pretty efficient. They are clean & have covid measures in place. To be honest, they were always good with keeping cleaning sprays & sanitizer at different stations, so I think all they had to do was fix the social distancing issue which they have. There is a 25 person capacity & so far, people seem pretty conscionable & the wait time isnt too much (at least the day I went). I recommend!

Its cool. You get what you pay for. So if you go in knowing that, you wont be disappointed. In covid times, extra conscientious workers and patrons. Easy to maintain a 6ft distance despite small floor space.

I am absolutely disgusted with how this company has handled their members. I signed up for one year ONLY, and payments stopped in March 2020 as planned. However, this coincided with the pandemic closing and I received NO communication about payments stopping or starting up again. I was charged for October 2020 and found out upon calling that I needed to send a certified letter, which is expensive, to cancel my membership. The other option is to go in to your home location, but I currently live HOURS away. Dont give into their cheap deals, theyll take more of your money than you allow them to. An absolutely despicable company, taking money from the unemployed during a pandemic. The customer service I received when there in-person was honestly creepy and made me uncomfortable, and when I called to get cancellation information the person could hardly put together full sentences resulting in me having to prompt him multiple times to get any helpful information. I never post negative reviews since I know from personal experience how much they impact businesses, but Im unemployed and having $45 out of my account for their charge and the certified letter is devastating. Shame on you, Planet Fitness.

This Planet Fitness is absolutely terrible. My father works out here daily and his locker was broken into, with everything stolen -- wallet, phone & 2 other people had their things stolen too.My dad asked the front desk to call the police and the people working the desk REFUSED to call the police, even though 3 people got their things STOLEN. They tried to sweep this under the rug completely -- fishy right? Why would the front desk not want the authorities to help their patrons recover their stolen goods?Another gym-goer called the cops, and they showed up.The stolen goods totaled over $500 and Planet Fitness didnt help, didnt look at the cameras when we requested (they finally did once the cops came), AND thered been a ROBBERY the week prior and there was no sign or communication to be cautious of robberies. And theres still no signs warning others of the robbery.I would avoid leaving anything in the lockers at this gym unless you dont mind theft.

I’m a member there for almost 5 years good place for morning workout

This gym never really fit my needs and every time I wanted to join it I was reminded of the poor locker room facilities that the have here. I witnessed it and agreed. Although the floor and the machines seem to be nice for those who just want a lift weights and get out, then it may be worth. This place is underground. so it doesnt have windows. It has a decent atmosphere nothing special. So, if youre into inexpensive gyms and wanting to be in-and-out quickly, then I recommend it. Otherwise, stay away. Gyms in this area have gone down hill. To its credit, I do see people coming in-and-out of here every day because I often pass by their door!.

Its a basic gym for a great price. If you are just looking to use machines and weights this is a great place. Its not busy super early on weekday mornings. Evenings are more crowded

Its in a strip mall, so theres plenty of parking. Decent size facility with a good selection of equipment. Staff is pleasant. Locker room has a changing room, showers, toilets and a machine where you can buy items that you may have forgotten to bring. Lots of paper towels and sanitizing solution throughout. Kept in decent condition. Layout is good. You can find the weight lifters in the back of the gym. Classes available but I havent been to any. For me, a comfortable atmosphere.

My wife and I got charged 39 dollars this month without our consent, they were supposed to charge 10 dollars every month, when we went to complain about the charge they gave us an stupid answer. They are thieves . We decided to cancel our membership.we were never advised at the beginning that we were gonna get charged that amount once a year.

I’ve been coming here about a month now and as far as the gym area goes its easily 5 stars. Plenty of equipment and cardio machines to go around. Even when it’s crowded you can still find a machine. However when u take into account the locker room it’s an absolute joke and why it won’t get 5 starts. There’s exactly 1 bench in the locker area and 1 bathroom stall in the bathroom area. For an entire Men’s room locker room. There will literally be a line trying to get just get into it.

I love the guests here its finally a gym I can stick to! Easy to navigate and a great gym if youre trying to get back into it in a non intimidating gym.

Reception desk always polite and welcoming. Gym is perfect for just going in and working out. No uncomfortable feeling here.

Limited TV channels (no CBS, NBC, FOX), nearly 50% of the TVs are broken for 6 months or more.This location is probably one of the most successful locations but they do not reinvent a penny.Sewer pipes flood this basement location frequently.With all the competition around, I will be looking to change my gym.

I used to be a member of this gym...as many people are due to the price of membership... however, this particular gym is quite dirty. From the bathrooms to the equipment they need a thorough disinfecting throughout the entire place. I do not believe there is even a cleaner in the bottles they supply for members to wipe down the machines after a workout...It appears to be some sort of extremely diluted spray. I told them upon my departure and they have done nothing about it as I have friends who still attend and am certain of this.

I loved. Costumer service is wonderful . They are very helpful. Very clean. Loved the common waiting room in the front.

The coaches provide motivation and monitor form to make sure everyone is performing the movements safely. Great workouts indeed!

Love this gym. Everyone here is very friendly and the staff keeps the gym very clean. The only thing that creeps me out a little bit is the free pizza once a month, so I steer clear of that. I don’t think the concept is very sanitary.

I came here while visiting for work. I travel almost every week for my job and visit a lot of Planet Fitness locations. I was very put off with the humidity and smell of sweat in this location. It felt like a dark, cramped, dungeon. The equipment is so close together it feels closterphobic. The tanning booth was also very cramped, and hard to change clothes. There were several bulbs out in my bed.

Jonathan stole someones phone number from the company database and has been texting them. The person did not ask for him to contact them and he should be fired for contacting members via stealing their information. This is predatory behavior that shouldnt be allowed.

Located in a basement, can feel a bit crowded at times. Air circulation is not the best. Staff has always been great.

Pretty good bang for the buck! You get what you pay for there. Always make a practice of wiping down the machines before and after use though...some people dont follow that idea too well.

This is one of my favorite in the country no Big Ass Fans blowing down on you . its never cold inside there like the other PFs. Small in the basement feels like a classic gym. Havent met too many rude or snobby people in there like that other one close by. I dont know anything about the TVs like other post I dont go there to watch TV I go there to stay fit and get more exercise. thanks guys keep it up

Get swole!

Great place to work out, with a great price for the membership. Only down side, is if you are serious about lifting and getting in shape, they discourage you from coming with their lunk alert posters, as well as the light and siren on the wall. Just dont talk to anyone and keep to yourself, and they usually dont bother you.

Stuffy and busy? Youve got to be kidding. Not a fair assessment at all. Been going there for over a year now and the place couldnt be easier to deal with. And now they just upgraded all of their machines. For ten bucks a month its one of the best bargains around.

Great gym, but the locker room is comically small.

I have no issue with Planet Fitness overall, but this particular location in Scarsdale has an issue with locker room theft.The combination Master lock on my locker was physically damaged and broken and cash and credit cards were stolen, with no action taken by location management upon my reporting the theft immediately and calling the facility later that same day to report it again. I informed them that the credit card theft resulted in tremendously substantial fraud within a very short timeframe after the theft (less than an hour). Management never called back, even after I was told they would. Staff at the front desk, though friendly and sympathetic, did indicate that mine was not the first locker robbed in the same manner that week.Planet Fitness Scarsdale has a significant theft problem that requires proper investigation. I will NOT return to this sub-par location.

This club is perhaps the worst Planet Fitness I have been to. I have a black card, travel a bit, and have been to clubs throughout the USA. This club is the worst. Tiny, tiny mens dressing room. Most of the TVs dont work -- or at least have only 5-6 out of ten working channels. Club is dirty.I have spoken to the staff about fixing the TVs...they ignore me.Avoid this club. The ONLY positive is the price.

Awesome chicks hang out there--great feel and vibe---really young and hip--great music and machines---excellent staff and their super knowledge is a great help---one guy even gave me stock tips...made a killing----ballys and NY sports cant compare---I think they should be charging more per month..but hey --what the hay!

Free parking! Small location that’s in a basement. Free pizza first Monday of every month. Can be very crowded at times and the machines are very close together. They have everything you need to workout so just make the most out of your experience!

Disaster... Its a scam they charge you past your 1 year contract with even notifying you that they auto renew it. Then they make up maintenance charges to continue charging you. You might as will pay for NY Sports Club because at least they are honest about the costInside: Always flooded with water after it rains. The air is awful because it is a basement and its humid with their poorest quality tanning beds spreading heat throughout the closed area.The staff is teenagers with horrible attitudes.Judgement free zone is a lie because the staff had the nerve to comment on the redness of my skin with I was leaving one day. Didnt realize I should feel bad for running at my level of intensity.
