This review is based on cleanliness of the gym.I’m not sure who is supposed to clean, vacuum the gym every night? Seems like the workers are supposed to do that but it clearly doesn’t get done. For a $50 a month membership I would think they’ll take vacuuming a little more serious. There is DUST absolutely everywhere and it’s been like that for months. I was waiting and waiting to see if it got better but no. I come to the gym 6 days a week and let me tell you gym DOES NOT get vacuumed. As soon as I walk in the gym my nose becomes super itchy from all the dust flying everywhere and in between the cable weights, all over the floor. It’s literally EVERYWHERE and extremely annoying the fact they have not a vacuumed in months. If the workers are supposed to do a deep clean after closing ITS NOT GETTING DONE.When I used to go to blink in cross county you would see the workers put on a backpack vacuum right before closing and vacuumed the entire gym.But here at 24hours the dust is terrible!!!I don’t pay $50 a month to come itch my nose at the gym none stop. This place needs to get their stuff together and the GENERAL MANAGER clearly doesn’t care about that. It’s not all about collecting the monthly fee it’s also trying to keep the gym clean inside and outside.Parking lot looks like a TRASH DISPOSAL. It’s ridiculous. This is obviously a problem if I’m NOT the ONLY ONE Complaining about gym being so freaking dirty. Buy some vacuums and clean the damn gym.
Great place yes it gets busy some times I just adjust my schedule. Disagree with Charlene Alvarado like my mom says if you have nothing nice to say..........
Great Olympic size swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna are unisex. Comfortable, spacious and separate lockers rooms of course. Private shower stalls. Every piece of equipment and feature of this facility is cutting edge and brand new. Just renovated expanded and a pleasurable environment! Ya gotta go. Members download the 24 hr fitness app. Scroll down to automatic entry barcode, scan and enter. I love it!
Definitely the cleaner of the 24 clubs Ive been too. Get there before rush hour for a good workout. Locker rooms and the gym floor are pretty clean. Theres a parking lot and the front desk staff is friendly.
Great machines, spacious, Zumba class, great. More vacuuming necessary. Friendly staff.
Joined gym no problem. Machines are fine. Locker rooms/showers are fine. Customer service needs a lot of help. Signed up for personal training and trainer was always late or a no-show. She once canceled me as I walked in for my 10 am pt session so she could take a spin class at 10:30. Nice. Switched to another trainer. He was always too busy trying to recruit new clients that he constantly forgot about our scheduled sessions. I canceled my membership. Not worth the headache.
Do not waste your money at 9:30 fitness. The 24 hour corporation should change their name and stop stealing peoples money.Do not wast your money on this club.
Good weights, very clean. No broken machines. Everyone is respectful. No ghetto trash or attitudes. Best time is before rush hours.
Front deck, vary welcoming. Gym is clean and has new equipment.
This is really a nice gym, only a year ot two old. It is sizable enough and has a good variety of free weights, machines and dumbells. They have a nice little area to warm up and stretch and do your own thing. I paid $400 for the whole year!
I came in the other day to sign up because my friend recommended me to try out the gym. I called before hand to make an appointment and spoke to a girl named Sarah, she was very helpful and answered all of my questions so I had a good feeling about the gym from the start. When I went in unfortunately Sarah was not there so I spoke to the young man that was at the front desk. He was on his phone for about 5 minutes before he noticed me waiting, I believe his name was Eli? The other woman working was sitting off to the side talking on her phone. When she saw me she just ignored me and looked away. Luckily a man named Charles came over when he saw me waiting and was able to help me out. So it was clear to see there are a select few that actually care about the members. Now I know who I should and shouldn’t approach when I need assistance.
A wonderful gym experience; amazing fitness classes
Brand new gym, very clean, smaller than most other 24 hour fitness I visit, was crowded, the locker room was smaller than most I have been too, swimming pool area not open so no steam room or sauna yet until End of March, did not see any signs or info stating it, the good side is they have lots of good equipment, staff is friendly, the water pressure is better in showers and sinks, I guess they decided to pen before they were fully ready, come back in April
Great staff and instructors!🤗
I have been a member for over 6 years and this has been my worst experience. My experience in this location was horrible. One of the staff was very rude and unprofessional, every time I finish using a machine I always clean the machine. The employee told me that there is a certain way of cleaning the machine and to not clean it at all. The minuted I walk In the Gym he was looking at me like if I did belong there. He made me feel unwelcome. He did have his name tag, but he was a Hispanic guy, I believe was a Dominican because he try to speak to me in Spanish. I hope that he gets training on how to speak to customers because I don’t think I will ever return to this location because of this employee horrible customer. The employee at the front desk was very welcoming. The shift was the 5:00 shift.
Great. Lisa is a great trainer
They have free barbells unlike planet fitness.
I paid $249 for a personal training pack Jan2020. The trainers were NEVER available, could not schedule, and early March the gym shut down due to covid. Reported them to my credit card company, NYS AG, NY Consumer Protections. They refuse to refund me. I am in a medically vulnerable group and will NEVER set foot in a gym while covid persists, as per medical advice.Multiple emails and letters to the corporate office yielded no satisfaction. THIEVES! FRAUD! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!
Great workout! I wish all people would clean behind themselves. I do suggest to clean everything before and after use for safety. Working out with a mask was easier than I thought.
9:30 fitness how you called 24 hour fitness and close at 9:30
Love 24 hr fitness! not happy about time slots but its better thsn nothing
Great gym, fabulous workout. I am from Jersey and it was worth the trip.
Absolutely terrible customer service from this company. Continued to charge me even when the location by me closed down. Phone hotlines to cancel doesnt go anywhere. Made me travel all the way to this location in person to cancel when it quite easily was something that could be done over phone. When I asked for a manager to refund the charges for a gym that closed down, there was none available
I went in last week to check out the gym and I spoke with this spanish heavy set lady who gave me attitude when I walked up asking how I go about signing up. I believe her name was Ordalizzo? I didnt stick around too long to find out as she had attitude from the second I looked in her direction. I decided to avoid creating a scene and left to look another gym further down......I initially thought her and this other lady were members as they were just sitting there on their phones texting, later to find out that theyre both in sales??? She shoulda been more welcoming from the start, I only approached because people at front was already occupied
Took my $ and wont refund!Paid for intro training $249, Jan 2020. Trainer was too busy to book till March, and then they shut down for covid.Reported to Attorney General NYS. THIEVES! FRAUD!
It’s no two-level Ramsey NJ Super-Sport, but features good natural lighting, the necessities, and a decent vibe. Always a diverse crew, which can go either way. Shoutout to club manager Greg for making post-Covid signup quick and easy!
Incredible gym! The staff is super friendly, the facility is dope, plenty of space, great machines and equipment. Never a piece of equipment or a machine out of service longer than 2 days because they have a technician on shift almost all the time.Sign up process is ridiculously easy and simple, and when you walk in just type your phone number, scan your finger and youre good to go! 😁Big thanks and shoutout to Jenn G. for making my experience amazing! 😊
Training with master trainer JORGE changed my life. I never thought I would lose the weight and have the body that I have now. JORGE showed me what’s possible in transforming my body while encouraging me to challenge myself at every workout. No other trainer can match his fitness knowledge and his targeted approach to achieving results. I am always inspired to try harder and push beyond my limits. JORGE is the gym’s best kept secret.
CLEAN, quiet, not overcrowded. 1 hour and a half isnt enough but have to make adjustments due to pandemic.
This is a good gym. There’s lots of well maintained machines. It wasn’t too busy when I went. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a good gym to get in shape cardio wise or put on muscle. They have plenty of tools to accomplish either.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED how clean and COV19 free the gym was! The staff as always was friendly, professional and protective. Glad to be back home.
Glad to be back
Excellent gym equipment!! Love pool as much as I swim that helps me to lose my weight. It is worth of joining the membership whatever you want to attend there anytime in 24 hours but other places are close ...
REALLY ENJOYED THIS GYM!!! I went to the location in Scarsdale and honestly they had everything you would want in a gym. The space, the machines and the amenities. That location has a pool, dry sauna, wet sauna and a jacuzzi. They had a running area and a free weights training area. My favorite part was the fact that they have this little fake grass area which allows you to train on different things while feeling like you’re outside. Really loved it.
Customer service is absolutely so rude. Equipment is okay, but gym is always packed. Don’t waste your time. The Asian guy that works from the front is especially rude so good luck speaking with him if you do.
Good gym. The hours and freedom of schedule definitely helps. They do keep it clean which is good. However, equipment and weights being left all over and not put back is a big problem.
Update: DONT sign-up for training sessions. You wont get to use them and you wont get your money back. Cancelled my membership.People refuse to put up weights and you spend forever looking for them and cleaning up after others. Been complaining to staff for months now but they have taken no action.Looking for other options.
Weights are left all over the place to the point you can’t even find them half the time. I’ve been to a lot of gyms, but never seen one where the weights are so disorganized and never re-racked properly. People never wipe down their machines. Not a neat or clean gym. They need more staff to constantly go around to re-rack and wipe down machines. If that happened, the members would probably follow suit. This isn’t such an issue at other gyms, but it’s a huge issue at this gym.
Nice clean new gym. Plenty of machines and free weights. They have a very nice green track inside. The employees seem nicer at this 24 Hour Fitness than others. One of my biggest complaints are the lights on the ceiling making it very difficult to do any exercises on your back because they blind you. 1 bonus is the free weights. There are plenty free weights with many varieties
The gym itself is great and the staff is good. I wont give it a 5 because of the grown adults who leave their nasty towels and drinks, trash, equipment and wipes everywhere. Its a snobby area so get used to these types of individuals expecting people to pick after them. Midnight is the best time for quality weight lifting.
Gym is new and already receiving so many bad reviews on customer service. Archie seems inexperienced in customer service- No greeting and rejected your guest pass without a good explanation and not even bother to look at the fine print on the pass which read “as long as you are not a member”. The gym itself is nice but not allowing guest with pass to explore comfortably and test it out before commitment will eventually not get a lot of members to join.Received an email to fill out a survey of a recent visit to an out of state gym then give you a 30 days local guest pass which stated you can go to any 24 hours fitness if not a member. But unfortunately was denied by Archie that the pass is only good for people who have never been to “any” 24 hours fitness so what is the purpose of the survey and pass. Either Archie is inexperienced or the email and pass was misleading(falsely advertised).
Such an amazing gym. Miguel trained me tonight and it was awesome. He was so professional and knowledgable of a customized routine for my specific needs. Also, Deanna has trained all of my friends and everyone is hooked. I would highly recommend training with Miguel and Deanna- those two are a catch at this location! 💞💪🏽🏆 classes are free and included with membership, and unlike NYSC you can go to any 24 hour fitness with membership!
Has become like a second home to me! I own the Taichi/Yoga/meditation studio right next door, so this place is super convenient for locals, but I’ve met several people who come travel to this location vs other 24 hour fitness for the fresh new equipment and feel! They have almost everything you can think of, modern machinery, Olympic style weights and padding, aerobics room, cycling room, a soon to be swimming pool, lots of cardio equipment and 2 pairs of every dumbbell. The studio has this cool modern training program system that even if there’s no class going on, you can plug in a program and train in the room alone. It’s very bright and inviting. And although it can get busy, it still doesn’t have that old sweaty gym smell, which is nice! Definitely a nice gym.
December 27, 201713:30After walking in, I was addressed in short time by a young female associate at the front desk. I had asked where the best place was to get information about services and pricing at the facility. She had walked me over to a PC with a guest sign-in interface that asked for entry of my full name and date of birth.I had replied that I simply wanted to ask about services and pricing and was not comfortable giving out personal information. When seeing a next button on screen, an internal concern had developed that further questions would be asked regarding home address and contact information, among other entities. This progress did not come to fruition. After my reply about not being comfortable giving personal information, an older gentleman intervened and said, Well then, you dont get a tour. He had expressed this questionable answer with a derogatory smile as if he had won something, which by doing so, effectively answered all of the questions I had prepared. I wished them both a Happy New Year and walked out. Behind me, I heard an audible wow from a female voice but was not wished a Happy New Year in return from the two individuals involved in the interaction. As a Scarsdale native, this sort of unhealthy exchange between a member of the community and a business associate is rare in my experience. During a first time meeting between potential clients and business associates, typically a rendering of product information is granted and then a decision to spend or not spend is made by the consumer. There was no opportunity to gain information before giving any at this facility, to ask questions. The manner in which I was introduced to the facility left a bad taste. I do not see myself or my colleagues becoming patrons.
Where do I start? Machines arent repaired, then you have these powerlifters, crossfitters and Olympic trainers hogging the squat and bench racks for hourssss.. I mean hours.. go to to iron vault or mvb or a crossfit gym.. this is a commercial gym..its always crowded you will find yourself waiting for a machine for hours thats if its not broken!. I honesly hate working out here!.
Gym is great... service was horrible. I was denied assistance using their vending machine because they had closed the protein bar and I had to resort to their non-functional vending machine... I was left with a response of that is not my job by the woman at the front desk. I thought it was joke at first so I laughed it off.. I politely asked again, and she told me to go to another gym to get protein. Not cool dude. Do anything ya want but dont mess with the protein. Srs.
I upgraded my old Bally’s membership to allow use of 24 Hour Super Sport locations and it was worth it!The Scarsdale location is brand new, clean and all the weights are organized and returned to their appropriate spot. You don’t need to spend time looking for dumbbells you need. There’s towel service and the pool will be opening soon
24 hour fitness is a great gym
Wonderful establishment. New state of the art equipment. Bomb ass trainers! Parking lot can be full at times..
Great gym, overall can get hot at times. Wish they had better air circulation or more fans. Thats my only complaint.
So fresh and so clean. Hopefully it stays like that. Staff can be pushy, but thats their job. The front desk staff is always so friendly.
I wish I could give a negative rating. Also cant believe this place got a high rating as its not a honest business. The manager tricked me at grand opening to buy membership by promising a swimming pool open in March as the only reason I will use this gym is the pool. He also promised I wouldnt be charged until the pool is opened. However, the pool is still not open yet in August and they started charging me in March. Ive been calling for many times. They always promised it would open in 6-8 weeks. And its August, its not open yet! I wont come to this gym even after the pool is open just because their faulty service.
Crowded and layout doesnt seem functional with little space to move around. Bathroom and shower stalls appear clean but again lockers make it feel confined. Price options are good. Parking doesnt appear to be an issue. Fire alarm keeps going off and the gym has to empty out. Music too loud.
Everyone at the front desk sucks. I hate almost everyone there. Perfect gym
My new workout joint just because they have 3 rope machines. Super rare. 24 hrs doesnt hurt either
Great 24hr Gym with brand new unique equipment other gyms dont have. They have plenty of gear in a decent size space.
No towels starting June 1st? And my rate just increased per month? Ive tried to speak to the manager three times already and either she is not there or on her break exercising and cannot speak to anyone. I come to this gym because of the convinence of the towels. I will be reaching out to corporate and I advise everyone else to do the same. This has happened in other facilities and if people speak up they will back off and not impose their own decisions. No where in the contract does it say they have the right to do this. Even Pelham gives you 1 towel. I will leave this supergym with my husband if this is enforced.
Not as “judgement-free” or inexpensive as Planet Fitness, but it’s a mostly friendly gym with everything you could ever want/need in a fitness center.
Clean!
Gym is extremely clean and the clean towels is a plus. By far this is the best gym I have been a member of.
Clean new facility... Like the early hours. Definitely appreciate the towels...
I had the worst experience this evening at your club. I had a friend Gerson Lopez who is a member suggest that I sign up. I am currently a member at NYSC and given that I train martial arts in the evening the schedule does not work for me. 24 hour seemed like a good fit. Gerson suggested I work out with him 1 evening a few weeks later, today, I walked in to workout and sign up after. Unaware of the “consecutive” day rule I signed in and proceeded to walk in, that’s when PETER CHAVEZ stopped me and in front of everyone stated I can’t work out I came once before and I have to sign up or leave. At that point Gerson proceeded to tell him that we were going to work out first and he reluctantly said NOPE. I had spoken to Peter during my initial visit and stated that it was a 2 person package and wanted to speak to my girlfriend about it and get back to him. We set up a meet date but I was not able to make it. PETER CHAVEZ was very unprofessional, as a corporate retail consultant I was taken back by the lack of customer service and pushy attitude and arrogance in body language and tone. The fitness market is extremely competitive and customer service should be at the top of the business structure. PETER CHAVEZ is a bad associate and has poor customer service. After speaking to my girlfriend I am very skeptic on signing up. I live in the area and as an avid martial artist have friends in the community that I will inform of my experience.
You have a much better experience here than at Blink Fitness or Planet Fitness this little spot used to be an A&P Supermarket which has been transitioned into a great gym theyre expecting to install a swimming pool within the next few weeks
Great gym, actually open 24 hours, super clean, renovated. 3 cage racks, one dedicated squat rack, one smith, plenty of space and equipment.
Not a great first experience... major staff issues. They’re pushy to sell you “personal training” at additional costs. By the look of the personal trainers they need to work out more and stop looking at their phones when people are waiting. Joined and cancelled within 2 days. Not a Scarsdale quality establishment. I can see this place becoming another Yonkers Bally’s gym.
Zumba!
Decent variety of equipment, but equipment is rather old.
Pool is open. Clean new equipment. Great parking.
Massive disappointment. The equipment wasnt clean. Added to this the layout of the weights area is terrible. There are tons of pointless machines and very little room to do any exercises. There is only one squat rack one smith machine. Not many machines at all. Also the free weights are not kept tidy. I also had difficulty locating plates for the barbell. There are only 3 benches which added to the lack of space makes it very difficult to have a good workout, especially on a leg day. The staff think they can kick you off any machine at any time when they have a client. The changing rooms arent great either and the bathrooms werent clean. I havent tried any classes here, maybe they are okay but they always seem to be extremely busy at peak hours only adding to the mess in the parking lot. I guess the equipment wouldnt be clean judging from the rest of the place. No grunting. No making any noises with the weights. No bags. Can’t take off shoes for squats or deadlifts. The way I have been spoken to is such a joke, Ive never been so disgusted.Long story short: do NOT join this gym. Youll be stuck paying 45+ dollars a month for something you dont even want. And the membership is increasing once they finally instal the pool and sauna which have been delayed for 6 months. You really are better off signing up for a proper gym because the headache of dealing with such incompetent people is not worth it. Terrible, terrible gym. I would not be surprised if it went out of business in the near future. Especially with the location being in Scarsdale, I would expect some more etiquette as opposed to a bunch of entitled kids pretending to do a job they have no idea how to do.Update: check out the Yelp reviews for more honesty from the community.
Place is nice. Staff seems friendly but seem to be engaged with only clients tgat take paid sessions. The turf area could be a bit bigger. Two times i used it, it does get crowded. Other equipments tend to get busy as eell. Havent tried the classes. Swimming pool serms reasonable. Yet to try it.
Currently training with master trainer Evens. He is a beast! Took my fitness level to a whole new level
Nice place people come here do what they need to do and leave.
Very nice and clean gym. Staff is amazing.
Great gym. Facility is nice and clean and the staff is friendly.
Great Place Nice and Clean Very Convenient ❤️
Clean, new equipment, and helpful staff. Great gym in the area!
So far my experience here has been horrible not because of the gym itself, but because of the customer service. We came to visit the gym last Friday, we had a nice gentleman named Chris he explained prices, rates, and gave my fiancé and I a tour around the gym. He gave us a 7 day free pass for us to get the feel of the gym before we make this huge commitment! I was pretty excited since the gym was brand new and its literally 5 minutes from home, BUT the first day of us coming to use our free passes I couldn’t proceed because I wasn’t allow to come in without an ID, ok I understand.. we come back the same day the staff were still a bit uptight and wasn’t giving me good vibes... so I decided to come back and give it a second chance because like I mentioned the gym itself is great !! OK so I come back today upon getting to the counter to check in, I explain to the girl I’m here using my potential new member pass and she comes out with a nasty attitude “there’s no such thing as having a 7 day pass”, rolls her eyes and walks away to get another gentlemen. He told her yes they got extended to Saturday... okay this chick has an attitude like she was in the hood, with that attitude and mentality she need to go back to the gym in the hood (Fordham road) I can talk Because I was born and raised in the Bronx. I feel like they need to re-evaluate the staff, as you can see I’m not the only one on yelp that talks about the staff!! Sweetheart we’re in Scarsdale not the hood.In addition ! pretty sad how most of the staff is hanging out lounging around at this one table on their cellphone looking like they are at the dyckman strip on a summer day, while the manger and this other girl name Sidney do all the work !
Ive been so so many different gyms and ai can FINALLY say Ive found the ONE! No mlre changing gyms. 24hr fitness is the place for Me! The gym is clean has a ton of machines, machines I havent seen at any other gym Ive been to. The staff is amazing and pool and aaubca will be opening up March 1st so thats a plus! Also the membership is affordable and if you dont think so do there family plan and add a member (even better) Overall, this gym gives me GREAT VIBES as soon as I walk in.
SOLID GYM . one more punching bag is needed and a jacobs ladders but its a solid gym . Trust
Has the works when it comes to treadmills and cardio machines, bikes and free weights. There are a few Smith machines and at least one squat rack. There is not much space between machines. The place is clean. They have towels and plastic bags. You have to bring your own lock.It has a great water fountain. There is a functional training area and a TRX section. They offer classes and the studio is a nice space. They have some really great lateral movement treadmills and they do have a hand treadmill as well as an AirDyne. Also there is a set of full body workout apparatus there a rope pulldown machine. The place needs better Manila ropes. There is a turf and the plyometric boxes and tires are high-quality. The sleds would be great if they had some rope with chains or locking mechanisms because I had to jury rig a Manila rope to pull the sledMy biggest gripe with the place is the pool.I have the super sport membership and I do use the Yonkers location but the pool at Yonkers is heated and the pool at Scarsdale is definitely not heated. They play way too much hardcore hip hop. There needs to be variety. While there is a good hot tub and sauna as well as steamroom the pool brings down my score. Also I have noticed personal trainers sitting around on there behind instead of walking around and helping keep the place tidy.It is located near lots of other great commercial sites on Central Park Ave.
This place has everything, helpful staff, good parking, I like it.
Nice facility but still waiting for the pool to open.
Im happy they not longer going to give towels to all these messy people that like to place towels, drink bottles, phone, bags, etc...... on the benches like they are in there livingroom.
Its sucks . Towels taken away . Air quality sucks . The temperature is 75 and up
Best gym so far.
Nice and clean, new machines and a pool
It’s 24hrs and the pool opens at 5am and closes at 11pmWhat more can you ask for
Great attributes
Great gym!

Friendly staff, tons of equipment.
Love this place
