Great play is a fantastic place for your childrens to learn and master motor skills. Its a great idea for a birthday party. Its a fine place for children to build confidence in an environment with people their age. Activities to improve coordination in an atmosphere of fun and games is worth while for everyone. Theres even a place to eat for when you have parties when you bring your own food. I viewed a class just yesterday and I was very impressed with the teacher student ratio and the activities going on within the glass. The person I met to discuss teachers, activities, and parties was excellent. The presentation of this business thats been around for 10 years was right on the mark. There are lots of bright colors in everything you see here, just perfect for young people. Come see whats good about the Great Play!!

My son’s birthday was in November, and we had a great party at this location. The staff were knowledgeable, professional, and super helpful. The kids at the party were absolutely run down, they played nonstop. The activities were unique and exciting for the kids, and the play area was super clean and organized.They do one party at a time, so we never had to worry about running into other groups. We brought our own cake and chips and things, and the staff set everything up, including our decorations. I didn’t have to do anything but bring my son and our party things, and the staff literally did everything else for us. The staff packed up our leftovers to carry out with us. They even gave my son a special spider-man mask at the end of his party. Great people, great party. Highly recommend.

We have been going to Great Play with our son for two years now and plan to renew for a third. We have used the facility for both classes and a birthday party and I cant say enough good things about them.The positive -- it is clean, well managed, they are polite. Customer service is good. They teach regularly, so the phone often rolls to answering machine but the manager has always called me back within an hour. They are easy to work with.But far and away, the best thing is the lead coach there, whose name is Darrel but with an accent on the second syllable so Im sure Ive misspelled it. He is a good athlete but also a kind and gifted educator. I have on MANY occasions seen him leading the game just before pickup.Darrel manages to make sports fun for kids, but also to simultaneously help the more remedial kids with their skills while still challenging the more advanced kids. It is a great and welcoming place for special needs kids. Still a good place to work on your jump shot. Just a great facility overall.

This is a most wonderful program with the best coaches and administration. I took my granddaughter here for 4 years and now am going with my grandson since he is 1 years old. He loves it here. Its an excellent program for children - both physically & mentally. The facility is terrific and most important the people are loving and caring. I will take my new grandson here as soon as he is old enough - cant wait.

Birthday party for 2 year old & friends went very well. Kids were kept in age appropriate motion for more than an hour. Cake & pizza were brought in after all the running around . Would highly recommend this place.

So happy our family discovered Great Play four years ago! Our children have been part of baby, toddler, preschool and school age programs here. The coaches are truly outstanding, each and every one, and make each individual child feel cared for and comfortable. Classes for babies and toddlers promote independence while allowing hands on parent involvement. They focus on growing motor skills while tackling sharing and turn taking. With older children growth as a team player and individual skills in a variety of sports and activities are explored. I recommend Great Play constantly and will continue to do so. It is a place we look forward to visiting every day!

I love that there are 3 coaches during class. Having 3 really keeps the the class dynamic. It allows for multiple activities going on at once and it avoids kids spending a lot of the class waiting for their turn to do an activity. Most children gyms have only 2 instructors during a class and it results in too much downtime for the kids. The staff is great. The gym is always clean. I love the innovative technology as well. My kids always look forward to going to there classes. It is great to see them have so much fun being active and not playing video games or watching TV.

I have been bringing my two daughters for over 5 years. They have very different personalities and this works wonderfully for both of them. Although my older daughter graduated from buddy she still enjoys watching her sister as its fun to watch too. They do a great job at combining skills, knowledge and exercise as one package of great fun! The buddy character and the screen technology make for a very interactive and modern approach to teaching sports to even the most hesitant and resistant child/kid!

This class has helped my daughter build confidence with climbing, jumping, and running. The coaches are helpful, fun, and encouraging. My daughter talks about gym all the time. They provide a safe, fun and professional environment for the children to practice coordination, run freely and most importantly have active fun. Referred a friend of mine and they like it too.My daughter LOVES Great Play and Buddy!

We bring our 2 year old grandson every week. Instructors maintain a great pace to keep the little onesactive. Price is right and if you have a little one that you are looking for something to do during the winter cold (or anytime of year) this is the place.Highly recommended.

I cant say enough positive things about this place as well as the coaches. My 2 1/2 year old looks forward to coming here all week. The activities and skills change every week and are always unique and a lot of fun for the little ones. My two older boysconstantly ask when they can go with there little brother:)

Great Play is probably one of the coolest places you can take your kids. My son attended last year andand liked it. And we probably will return at some point. The facility is clean fun safe and the staff are professional as well as sweet.And to the person that gave it a 1 star kick rocks with chancletas because buddy rocks!!

I had my sons 5th birthday party at Great Play of Scarsdale. We had 17 kids attending and I expected pure chaos. The staff of Great Play are not mere mortals, they are sorcerers with the power to draw the attention of 5 years old and keep them engaged in group activities. We were absolutely floored by the fact that they had 17 5-year-olds coordinated in group play. The kids had a blast. Thank you to the magicians of Great Play.

Ive been going to great play with my niece and nephew for the past 5 years and have always had a great experience. This past weekend we celebrated my nephews 5th birthday at Great Play in Scardsdale and let me tell you, this party was unlike any kid party Ive been to. My nephew has had all the fun parties you could imagine the past 5 years of his life, all at various kid gyms, but nothing beats this past one. These kids did not stop from the minute they got there til the minute they left. Most gyms the kids are allowed to roam free with their various attractions letting them go haywire which is what I was also expecting. I was so wrong. These coaches had all the kids with their undivided attention from start to finish. They mapped out different games and warm ups for the kids all pertaining to the theme of the party which was baseball. They ran bases, had throwing games, announced each childs names like they were being called into a game, even had the birthday boy stand on a 1st place pedestal at the end of the party. They were learning to share, listen, be active, get the feel for being on a team, have fun and and play all at the same time, it was just remarkable. The coaches were a part of every minute and so enthusiastic and the kids had an absolute ball. I would highly recommend Great Play for all kids ages for classes or parties. The amount of attention and care for these kids was unlike any Ive seen in a gym. Well definitely be back!

Great place with a great staff! My daughter absolutely loves going here for class and open gyms. Would recommend to friends and family without hesitation.

WARNING!!⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️The open gym is dangerous for babies!!The open gym is open for the ages of 6 months old and all the way up to 5.5 years old!The big kids are throwing balls tuning and jumping (like kids do) and the small babies are unsafe near them and can not crawl or play around them. Even when the baby is just sitting on the floor playing with a toy, many times he gets hit by a balls / toys that the big kids was playing with and throwing.My 7 month old baby got hit more then ones, as well been pushed and stepped on by the 4 & 5 YO kids...Im now looking for a safer place for him to play.Also - the A group class is every Friday at 11:30. Exactly on nap time!!! All moms comes late / comes over with sleepy babies... 👎👎👎

This gym is in a league of its own! The activities are developmentally appropriate at every different age, starting with fine and gross motor and following directions and balancing activities for young toddlers. And then more sport preparation activities like throwing, catching, batting, bowling, and golf. Some items are out at all times but most of the props and activities are taken out for each group. This is amazing because one of my complaints about most gyms is that everything is out and its either overwhelming or gets boring because their isnt enough variety. That is not the case here! The coaches are so kind and caring and patient with all the children, including the ones who are shy or rambunctious. And a perk for the Moms (or other caretakers) is that its located in a strip mall that has a Starbucks next door, and a CVS and Shoprite. So convenient! My son and I both love this gym!
