I am a person who is very scared of dentistry because of some traumatic childhood event but coming to Dr Brisman has been a very different experience. I have felt care for by everyone in the office and I am amazed at the precision of their work. I highly recommend this team.

They overcharged me by nearly $700. When I brought the error to their attention, they were un-phased and unapologetic. It took me MONTHS of countless emails and phone calls to finally get reimbursed. Furthermore, my insurance sent my partial reimbursement check to them in error, which they immediately cashed, and I also had to work to get this money back from them. I will not return.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Brisman for about fifteen years, and cannot say enough good things about my experience. Everyone associated with the practice offers top care and customer service to make going to the dentist easy, and as pleasant as possible, from receptionist to hygienists to the specialists. The one-stop nature of the practice with an on-site periodontist and orthodontist is greatly appreciated, as well as the up-to-the-minute technology. I do not worry about the longevity or aesthetic of any dental work Dr. Brisman performs. And he is clear and up-front about what needs to be done when, and why. The five stars are well deserved!

Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale operates as a well-coordinated practice integrating prosthodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery. Having all of these services available, plus their own on-site lab, makes it extremely efficient and convenient for patients. The clinicians are extremely experienced and knowledgeable and the staff are professional and skilled. All of this is offered in a warm and friendly environment. I am very pleased to have found this very comprehensive practice.

If you dont mind OVER BILLING and and POOR OFFICE COMMUNICATION this is the dentists for you.Was charged $495 for a $90 procedure and told that my insurance would probably cover all of the cost. I have spoken to the office 8 times in the last month waiting for their decision to reimburse me part of the cost. I have been put off seven times including today. Nice office, glad i could help pay for it.

I have been going to this dentist for a very long time. They are extremely professional. I have a lot of dental work in my mouth and i have always been very satisfied with the quality of their work. My kids go here as well and we are all very happy. I cant recommend them enough.

I dont think many other dentists could have handled the problem in such a skilled way. I have continued to receive excellent care from him and from his staff. I was about to have some work done by my former dentist and I was uncomfortable about some of the options: Filling? Cap? Crown? It seemed to me that he was more undecided than I was and I was not sure of what to do. I did some research and found Dr. Brisman who actually worked with a dentist that I knew - Dr. Calagna. On my very first visit I knew that I was in the right place and in the right hands. I could tell just by the way his office and dental bays were organized and laid out that this doctor was in my words A student of the game! Every detail was well thought out and he was anal ( in a good way) about his practice and craft. Having your own laboratory and staff to make crowns and prosthetics for your patients -- to insure a great fit -- not just a good fit and look. The staff shares the same passion to please and excel. As the Italian expression goes The Fish Stinks from the Head -- Well, that desire to be at the top of your profession permeates the entire office - from the office staff, dental assistants and the hygienists. Now, I dont worry about what has to be done to my teeth --- thats his job!!!! And he does it better than well!!!

I just had veneers done with Dr. Brisman from Advanced Dentistry in Scarsdale. I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience, from the wonderful woman at the front desk to the assistant Gloria who is amazing to Dr. Brisman and all his corny jokes. He made my smile the smile of my dreams. Truly a nice man but more importantly a perfectionist who’s love for his job comes shining through in all his procedures.

Facilities and staff are very nice but Dr. Brisman is a snake. He will try and “sell” you everything he wants you to buy. Ask any other dentist in the area and all will tell you to stay clear. They had a great staff for a long time but I’ve seen faces come and go because he is unprofessional and rude to his employees which I have witnessed. Had to go back twice for the same issues with my veneers and had to pay twice ! Look elsewhere unless you like inferior work at twice the price.

Below is the review I wrote three years ago. Since then, one of my crowns cracked. When I called for emergency help rather than the same lovely service I recieved in prior years, it felt like an interrogation about why I was not also using the practice for my day to day dentisty. When I stated that I did my cleanings with a dentist that took my insurance, they would not take care of the tooth that I cracked. I had to see another dentist that would handle off hour emergency situations. Then on monday morning when I had an appointment to get seen in their practice to fix or redo the crown, I had a message on my voicemail that they canceled the appointment. I was not blaming them for my cracked crown that only lasted three years, but I was asking to help and assistance. Since then I have found two neighborhood dentists that both excel in crown work, take my insurance, and take on emergency needs with care, integrity and compassion.------------Skilled, knowledgeable and kind. I had been searching for a dentist to help me problem solve my dental pain. Advanced Dentistry of Scarsdale helped solve my issues that others could not.
