My Jeep Wrangler needed tires and after extensive research I checked several online sites. Ultimately Mavis/Scarsdale had the best price. The technician was very knowledgeable and the work was completed on time.

Dear MavisI have become a regular customer in the past couple of weeks. I have had my car in your shop 3 times in the past two weeks for 3 different issues. I am very nervous about car repair shops because of past experiences with less than friendly and honest repair shops. I have to say that from the very first time that I spoke with The store Manager Dave, I felt very comfortable. He has been wonderful! He has dealt with my crazy self and the million phone calls that I have made with questions. You can tell that He truly cares about his job and customers.Once again to the store Manager Dave just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your staff. They are incredible. It means a lot to me, as a woman, to have a place that I feel comfortable taking my car. The most important thing is I know that I am getting a fair price and not getting ripped off. Cant say enough good things about this place. Ralph, Chris and Dave are all wonderful. After having my rear brakes replaced at the dealership I decided to get a second opinion about my front. Happy I did. These guys are honest, friendly and offer options. I came back a little over a month later to deal with the front and get some new tires. As a woman, its an added bonus that they invited me into the garage to show me exactly what they were talking about in regards to the work they were doing on my car. And I very much appreciate that they talked to me like capable human (not something you see as a female in all auto shops). The guys stuck around (after closing) and had me take my car out for a quick spin before we signed off on everything. Truly, this crew is the best. Glad I decided to get that second opinion!

The guys at Scarsdale are great. They were honest and helpful with my car repairs. I went in multiple times before getting actual work done on my vehicle and they were patient in going over everything with me. They informed me of what work they can complete within their ability as a shop and a company and suggested me other options to things they couldnt do. Ralph was very knowledgeable and confident in his abilities not only as a manager but as a mechanic. I would definitely go back to them for every service they offer.

Walked in with no appointment (more specifically, waited outside for 30 minutes prior to opening) on a Sunday morning with some beat up Pirellis that were close to AAA status and a soon-to-be rough day with no car. Dave was on time, helpful, and got me into some new tires within a few hours. While they didnt have my desired selection in stock, I was walked through the available options and fitted with four new Goodyear Eagle Sport AS tires and they are riding and working well (Day One, to be expected). Thanks to Dave for the quick turnaround and last-minute accommodation - much appreciated.

During a road trip we got a flat tire. Many people said they are unable to fix it except for Mavis. We were extremely late to our reservations but could not even drive a mile on the car. Mavis say the urgency of our problem and despite there customer volume at that time were able to take us and get our tire fix as soon as possible. They have amazing customer service and are all very good and understanding people

The service at Scarsdale was phenomenal, I believe I worked with Ralph he was very thorough, communicative, polite, and provided information step by step. Will absolutely come back to this store just because of the service. 10/10 recommend this store.

This is without a doubt Andrew is one of the best mechanics Ive used. Not only are they knowledgeable but they are honest.I took my BMW to them to be worked on. He had worked on it before but I needed something else done. He not only fixed the problem but realized a minor oversight from the previous visit. He voluntarily told me about it and fixed at at no charge. I would have been none the wiser if He hadnt told me. I will be using him for all of our work in the future.One Happy customer!!! These guys are excellent! I came in with what I thought was a wheel alignment issue and they were such experts that they fixed the issue without needing to do a wheel alignment. They helped me out tremendously, I’ll definitely come back again!

I had a very positive experience at Scarsdale Mavis all thanks to the store manager Ralph and his crew. I purchased a set of Goodyear tires from Mavis less than a year ago and the tread wore out a lot sooner than expected. Ralph helped me with filing a warranty claim with Goodyear, and once approved, he proactively ordered my replacement tires. Ralph returned my calls promptly and keeps his word as promised. His commitment to excellent customer service has made the whole experience a positive one. I will be returning to Scarsdale Mavis in the future for all my car repair needs. Thank you guys!

Mavis is a 100% professional operation, and the Scarsdale location is no exception. I called the Eastchester store who had no inspector today, and the gentleman- Alex who answered checked all the surrounding stores and made my appointment in Scarsdale. Really impressive corporate tools.I will always go to Mavis for tires first, as well as inspections, etc.

I stopped in for an oil change and the staff was very pleasant, Ralph answered all my questions and was very helpful. I will definitely be returning my my next oil change!! Thank you guys!!

I fully expected a rip-off upsell. I went in for a patch for a slow leak and I was sure they would try to sell me a $200 tire but they didnt! They fixed the tire for $30 & I was out of there 30 minutes before they said it would be done! Not bad at all! And they were friendly and even lent me a phone charger!

I believe it was DAVID at the front desk who was able to get my vehicle inspected in less time than he initially said. Another MDT location that I had tried first was having computer and staffing issues, but this location was able to squeeze me in to their busy schedule.Props to the mechanic who worked on my car too.....but I forgot his name.

This location was SO helpful when I showed up with a flat. Unfortunately, due to the location of my puncture I needed a new tire - on a Friday night, so I was worried Id not have a car until Monday! However, Ralph made the best of a bad situation and my car was ready by noon the next day!

This was my first time coming to this Mavis. I used to deal with the one in White Plains (crooks) then Elmsford (slow) then Mamaroneck great guys and work. Today I was in the area and felt something funny in my steering so I stopped here. Was honest about the wait time. We agreed on a return time. No long wait. Staff is pleasant and friendly which makes the time go by. The highlight is the mgr Ralph. I wish I could give 5 stars just for him. Hes very thorough, knows what hes talking about & mature. I will continue to come here and Mamaroneck. I also recommend these two locations.

While Mavis on mile square Road couldnt have cared less..Mavis on central avenue Near Scarsdale took the time to look at my issue even when it was close to closing time.. kudos to Manager Laderman and employee David...they were a pleasure and solved my issue and most importantly took the time to see what was wrong..Extremely professional and great customer service..Thank you again!

I had a scheduled appointment for this past Friday. My wife’s Honda Pilot needed new tires. I wanted them installed before the upcoming snowfall. To make it easy I made an appointment and ordered the tires I wanted. I used vacation time and made arrangements for someone to pick me up. When I arrived they told me the tires were not there and they didn’t know when they were coming in. Possibly this weekend they said. I asked how can there system let me make an appointment if the tires aren’t even available. Very disappointed. Probably going to use another retailer.

HORRIBLE.....NOT RELIABLE!!!!The Mavis franchise is great, if you go to the right one!This place lied to me 3 times about having my tires. Yesterday at 5pm I called, asked if they had my tire in stock. When the salesperson said yes, I RESERVED THEM and made the appointment for today. Today I received a phone call at 12pm stating my tires will be in tomorrow. WhenI explained that I needed them today because I’m going out of town and I made reservations for the tires the gentleman on the phone said “first come first serve!” NEVER WILL I PATRONIZE THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

I always hate getting work done on my car especially being a girl it feels like their always out to get you to spend more money since we don’t know much about cars, but not this place I come here without my dad and I’m comfortable doing so, Ralph one of the gentlemen who works there is super nice I will not be going anywhere else for service.

Very very dishonest employees be aware dont go to this place they lie to u telling you your car need repair when it actually doesnt. I went in on Sunday to do a oil change Kevin told me I needed new back and front brake and rotor he quoted me $ 280 front and 280 for back and said i only had. .1mm of brake that I need to replace asap he kept insisting .i look at my dash camera the never even took wheel of to check brake i decline the repair i did a visual my self they look about 50% in . I took my car to firestone Monday for a brake inspection the said and show me that brake where at 7mm that mavis lie to me dont trust mavis will never take my cars back again to this shop

Waited 15 min in the lobby while employee was on there phone just to find out they cant do inspections. They offer inspections but dont have the stickers to offer the service, and it would take a week to get the stickers. Why offer it?

My father used this tire center for many years when he was alive. The service today was very good but the tire all the fees came to a $162. What can I say? With all the up charges they could have changed and rotated all of my tires. I was happy that they were able to get the same tire however the one I wanted was not in stock. Daniel did a great job at the desk. I highly recommend the place but youre gonna spend a fortune on tires. This place needs to be updated because the waiting room is kind of gloomy. Convenient location.

This Mavis didnt cancel my appointment last minute, had late evening availability and worked really well with my schedule and respected my time- they told me tht it would take an hour, it took 50 minutes. Service was quick and the person who interacted with me was friendly and respectful.

So convenient for car inspection. Scarsdale Central Ave location is open on Sundays. I dropped the car off, walked to El Dorado diner for breakfast, and car was completed soon after I finished my breakfast. The people who work there are organized, polite, and professional.

I had brake/rotor, strut service her. best pricing of the other Maviss I inquired with. Being able to drop off without a prior appt. was plus. Convenient, clean location, friendly, helpful staff. My car feels great!

The worst experience I’ve ever experienced when buying tires. Watch out for this place don’t leave your car and walk away thinking they will do right by you as a customer. I paid for 4 new tires and a wheel alignment I was there the 1st day for 3 hrs because come to find out they didn’t have 2 of the tires in stock so they was waiting for the delivery @ any given moment did they give me any other options and failed to mention that as well . After they put the tires on I thought everything was good new tires plus wheel alignment my car should be driving good so I thought. When I was driving back home mind u I live 8 minutes away from this place the steering wheel was pulling me to the far left . I was so angry and upset I called the next day spoke with the manager Daniel comes to find out they never did the wheel alignment on my vehicle. Daniel was very professional and took care of the problem immediately but watch out with whom ever is working on your vehicle what ever services you paid for gets done

These people need to learn how to communicate, I had an 11:30 appointment and it’s 2 o’clock and my car is still sitting there with nothing being done to it whole associates smile and converse.....never coming back here again.

The team is lousy now. Placed order at 10am for car inspection on 2018 Mazda. Called at 11:45a to see if it was ok to come in now, and was told yes, come in now. Arrived 12pm and said I had a 1:30pm mtg, and was told they would not be able to get it done by then - come back later. I go back at 2pm, and again told it will take about 1-1.5hr, and I said I had to be at Dobbs Ferry train station by 3:45pm, and was told that should be ok. At 3:20pm I still see the car outside, and asked what is status, and was told my car was next and hes trying to get me out by 4pm....TRYING!??.I got a call to ensure I was picking up at train station at 4:02pm, so I said forget this, I got my keys and left. Worst team ever at this location !

Both my wife and I have been going here for various car-related issues, routine maintenance and occasional emergency needs. These guys are on point. Always courteous, fair in price, they never appear to try to get me on services or parts that I dont need. I feel like my car is in good hands here, and I dont feel like I am being worked by some sideshow mechanic. Highly recommend Mavis

I called in to change my tire and brakes I walk-in they changed my brakes now the brakes making so loud noises the car is shaking bad Costumr service over charge they are not honest and they are not clearfying about the job Not happy with tire and brakes service don’t go there bad in business.☹️

I wish there is a zero star option or half star option to choose. This is the worst place for your tires or for your car service. The reason I gave a one star is their dishonesty. I went this shop for the first time today because I had a flat tire and found a nail in the tire. They told me on the phone saying come over, we can fix it with patching the tire. After I went to their shop. they ask me to drop off the car for them to fix. Then, when I went back home, they called me again, saying the tire cannot be fixed but can be replaced with a new tire. I was told the price is $307. I eventually didnt do it because I just changed the new tires about 1 month ago from the dealer. And they sounds like not telling the truth about fixing my tire. So I called my car dealer and was told if a new tire needs to be replaced, the price is $ 270 totally. In another word, Mavis charged more than the deals. Then, I decided to try another shop before I go tot the dealer. This time, the car tire shop fxed my tire within 30minutes, and charged a very small amount of money. From my experience with this shop, you will see its dishonesty.

I had an appointment at 11 a.m. to change 2 of my tires, and they didnt even touch my car until 1:50 p.m.

They fixed a nail holes in my tire fast and at no charge. Great service, and most importantly you can trust them, they dont rip you off.
