Bought emergency flooring installation supplies (carpet zbars) and they reamed me a new one. Im thankful they had them, saved me a long trip back to our shop

I had to replace the bedroom carpet in the master bedroom when I purchased my house. Even though it was a remnant carpet purchase/install, Dane and his staff treated me like I purchased a whole house of flooring. It was done timely, efficiently and well under my budget. Ive got 2 more rooms to redo and I will definitely be back when the time arrives.

Incredible! First I must say everyone there is knowleable, helpful and friendly. Julian helped me with my project and a side mini project. I had a vision and he was able to turn it into something tangible and within my budget, which allowed me to be able to do a mini project. Had a very bad experience with a local contractor installing a bamboo floor. Hired Eckards Flooring to correct remove and install new flooring. They were excellent in timeliness and quality of the installation. The floor looks tremendous. Where one contractor failed Eckards can through in all phases of the project. I cant recommend Eckards Flooring. We ordered our floor in July and had them put in beginning of August. We had to have the guys come back out to finish trim and odds and ends that were not done. When they put the trim in by the fireplace, they cracked the tile and left. As soon as noticed, we called. Supposedly, the tile has been on backorder. Eckards never communicated or gave us the option of changing or upgrading tile which we would have gladly done. My husband called last week and the tile is finally in and they will be out today to replace. Lo and behold, they never show. Weve made numerous calls to either be ignored or hear the same thing. Its a shame because we love our floors and this should have been a 5-star review.

We had to get carpet put in when we bought a house in literally 14 days. The previous owners had dogs and my husband is severely allergic and wouldnt be able to stay there until the carpet was changed. Ive never experienced such excellent customer service with the salesperson as well as the installer. They moved quickly and made everything so smooth during a difficult time. Price was very competitive for the quality compared to Lowes and Home depot. Would highly recommend for sure!

I just had new flooring put in my kitchen today, It looks great. The two guys that installed it did anawesome job. The staff at the design center were also very helpful. A wonderful place to shop for flooring.

We had carpet and flooring installed and are very pleased with the product and the experience. Our installer, Derrick, and his partner, I cant recall his name, were just amazing. They are true craftsmen and a joy to watch in action.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. After trying for 3 1/2 weeks to get carpet installed from Lowe’s that I had paid for, I walked in and worked with Julian. Carpet was bought and installed three days later. Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to use this company for our new carpet, but it was a struggle just to get some customer service. I will give them two stars because they were knowledgeable about the carpet and the selection was good. HOWEVER...1. We had an appointment at 4:30 for measuring on Tuesday. I get a call at 4:15 saying the man couldnt make it. No worries...2. He was supposed to be at my house at 5:00 the following Thursday. I got hime at 3:45 and he was sitting in my driveway. He said he called and left a voicemail that he was early, but I had no missed call or voicemail.3. A week goes by and I had to call for my estimate. I was told it wasnt ready because he had been out of town. He emailed it to me the next day.4. The estimate was for the wrong pad and wrong carpet. I also asked to remove the furniture charge because we were going to remove it ourselves. No response to my email...I waited a week and called. The receptionist said they were busy.5. A few days later I got a new quote, but they could not remove the furniture charge because its a flat labor rate. I said I would get back with her, but I ended up finding the same carpet and a better pad for $700 cheaper! Carpet Store Plus in Richmond Hill did an outstanding job!!! I recommend them!! I never heard anything else from Eckerds. Its a shame. I had high hopes!

Very very easy, helpful, and attentive staff! It literally took me 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I had a scheduled time for them to come measure for our new carpet and had a sample picked out. I would have never received this level of service from a big box store. Very happy with the finished product. All staff involved were very professional and produced quality results! Highly recommended!

How wonderful is it when a company stands not only behind their product(s), but their work as well? Several months back, we had new carpet installed on the stairway in the main part of our home. Loved the carpet, but the installation had not been done well, at all! Within a week of going back to the Savannah store to speak with Dane Eckard... the carpet on the stairs was replaced and this time installed wonderfully. We met with Dane about replacing the carpet and tile in our house. He came out quickly, measured everything and did a great job. I was surprised to hear that their prices are as good as or better than the big box stores. The best part is their outstanding customer services. They are helpful and knowledgeable and easy to work with. I am looking forward to working with them in the future for all of our flooring needs.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My wife and I went to get their advise on what we needed to finish our stairs in our house. We brought them a sample of our floors and pictures of our stairs. They told us what product we needed for the stairs. We ask many times for them to explain how the product they suggested was going to be installed because it didnt make sense to us. They kept telling us thats the manufactures recommendation for our floor. So we ended up taking their word and ordered it from them. Two days later the product arrived and it was not the correct product for our floors. I immediately called Eckard and left a message. Over the next 5 days I called, left messages and email. The would not email or call me back. Finally on the 5th day I got ahold of the guy who recommended and sold me the wrong product. I was out of town at the time so we scheduled a meeting in 2 days when I would be back in town. I was supposed to bring in the product to show him it was wrong for my floors. He texted me the day before our meeting to inform me that I would not be able to return the product. I called him to get further information about why I couldnt return the wrong product he recommended to me. He immediately took no responsibility for his recommendation and began blaming me for ordering the wrong product. Then he goes on to tell me he would be glad to order me the correct product but will not refund me anything for the other product. Eckards cost me hundreds of dollars ordering the wrong product for my floors and then want me to pay them more to get the correct product. Unbelievable! To say I wasnt very happy with his reply would be an understatement. So I reached out to the manufacturer of the product and they said all he would need to do is call in and file a claim. He refused to call them and said they dont do refunds and our business is done here. They are supposed to be the flooring experts. We were relying on their expertise before we ordered and they failed us. If you are not familiar with a product then dont recommend it and if you make a mistake then own up to it.

Apryl and her team are ahhmazing...if you need flooring in Savannah - they are kind, professional, they listen to your needs - tell you their opinion and maybe why something should / could work better. We got sold on “the best in the business.” Garauntees for the perfect floors. Everything was great till tiles started clacking and grout disappeared. The installers did not leave any extra tile for emergencies and that’s where it went south. The gentleman that showered up had no tiles and thankfully I hung onto a bag of grout and sealer. The tech did his best to squeeze more grout into the crack, but here we are with brand new expensive tile floors that click and clack. The general response from the owner and his assistant are, make the customer feel at fault.

Apryl was the best! Helpful in carpet selection, quick on quote and great on follow up. The carpet was a perfect color match and soft to on the feet. The carpet installers where prompt and did a very professional job. We would definitely recommend Eckards flooring to all our clients and friends.

I confess ... I have champagne taste, but a beer budget.We are renovating a bathroom in a rental home and needed tile for the shower. Ive been looking around at the Big Box stores and it seems like anything I could find that fit my tastes ran 4X my budget and anything that fit my budget was cheap looking, plain, or butt-ugly. Enter Eckards ... I swung by one evening (just before closing time) and was welcomed with open arms by Apryl. They had tile that ran the gambit of price points. I was able to show her my tastes but explained that we were price sensitive. She cheerfully went right to a sample of tile that was right in line with my budget, but had a depth and elegance to the color that didnt make me feel like I was compromising style for price. Even though it was closing time, she didnt rush me or make me feel like I was anything but a valued customer. The tile is currently being put on the walls and it looks every bit as good as I had hoped. Next time, Eckards will be my first stop! I could have saved a lot of time and energy! Needed a large area rug in my newly renovated den and came to the realization that I would have to have one custom made. I went to every carpet/rug store in Savannah getting quotes, looking at samples.. it was exhausting. Then I walked into Eckards and was greeted by Apryl with a cold bottle of water. She didn’t pressure me, she let me take my time looking at samples-they had way more than other stores. She let me take samples into the parking lot so I could see them in natural light and once I narrowed it down she let me take sample boards home. I had pretty much decided on a carpet but wanted a larger sample to make sure. She had it shipped to my house at no cost within a couple days. I gave her the dimensions and place the order. It arrived on time and she had it ready with the padding. She was so awesome to work with. Always available. I just ordered more rug pads for rugs I already had. They beat everyone’s prices in savannah and honestly, sometimes good service and the small gestures mean more than saving a few bucks! Can’t thank her enough!

After another local company delivered a defective carpet we didnt want to take a chance with them so we went to see what Ekards had to offer. Ekards was able to get my son taken care of on short notice with a quality carpet at a lower price! They should have come here first.

I was remodeling a small bathroom and went to eckards for the tile. They went over and beyond to help us choose the right tile and the price was very competitive. Dane even met me on a Sunday at the store to get a piece I forgot when I picked everything up on friday.

How do you not order enough carpet? I am very disappointed by this company. When they did not have enough carpet their solution was to piece together the pattern with remnants with three additional seams. I found the solution not acceptable. Now the carpet is on back order. The installation of wood floors were equally disappointing. The demo and installation should have taken five days but required 8 days. I called the owner with my concerns and left a messsage. I spoke to him the next day after I called him again. Of course he was just about to call me. Really? Just like I was to get the email from the manufacturer that verified delivery of the carpet prior to my move in date. Well that email came two days later because Eckards lost power. I thought cell phones still worked with power was lost. Apparently not at Eckards. The cherry on top of this debacle is that the carpet is delayed.

We live on Wilmington Island and have run my own business for 45 years. Therfore a lot of hands on working with people and doing business. This is where you want to start paying attention to what is being said, hands down this is the very best experience I have ever had doing business with first class people. You can tell they have a relationship with a higher being or more accurately stated with Jesus Christ. If you want a fair deal handled honestly with top quality products you must trade here. I just had new carpet installed. They allowed me to take home multiple samples to look at in the room. Once we decided on the carpet, they ordered it and it was installed within a couple of days! I would not go anywhere else for my flooring!
