Typically I love working out at this location....I usually workout at night and lately this place has been so FILTHY at night. Trash cans overflowing, majority of the sanitizing stations are missing paper towels and or/spray....I understand workers have their lazy days but sitting on the couch the whole shift every time is unacceptable while the gym is in the condition. How can gym goers be encouraged to clean their equipment (especially in this pandemic). Feel like I got COVID just being in this atmosphere. Please uphold the same cleanliness standards at night as during the day. Thank you.

I love it, it is nice big very clean place all new equipment the hydro bed massage is amazing the rejuvenating bed is awesome very nice level five tanning beds, along with a very friendly staff and excellent pricing. You cant go wrong and I didnt have to sign a contract. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I meet or know.

Staff is very friendly and willing to help when it is possible. Fellow members are really courteous and clean machines after they are done using them. I would 10/10 recommend this location.

I love that this is truly a place where you are free to workout and get healthy without judgement. You can you pick your workout - they have a myriad of options, including classes & trainers. The machines/equipment are extensive; there is something for everyone. They were (are) very effective at ensuring our safety through this pandemic. If you have not visited; you must. The Black Card is the only Gym membership you’ll ever need.

LOVE THIS LOCATION! So clean, amazing staff, great selection of equipment, a nice Black Card Spa, and plenty of parking. Ive been here once but it was for my three hour workout. EVERYTHING was amazing. It was all so clean and I even witnessed staff cleaning both, lockers and checking equipment and zones. The staff were super informative, and surprisingly sociable!The instructor I spoke with was so energetic and positive it was boggling. The Black Card Spa had almost everything you could ask for, outside of the unnecessary lounge area😅. Ive admittedly only been here once but was lucky enough to catch two shifts worth of time and each set of staff were great. Will re-review as I visit more.

I love that I can go there with my fiancee using her black card and all the equipment is very nice. Also highly recommend the hydro bed but I wish it had more controls so you can focus it on just one area.

Just a suggestion to other patrons of the gym (or any gym). After what I witnessed this morning at the gym you will probably want to thoroughly wipe down your equipment before and after you use it (and probably will want to wear a mask). Two elliptical machines down from me there was a lady who had a deep cough for roughly the entire time she was on her machine (~45min). She would try to direct her cough into a napkin she had, but sometimes wouldnt get it up to her mouth in time to catch it. Often she would look into her napkin to see if anything came out when she coughed. After she would have her coughing fit, she would place the napkin in the little nook below the screen of the machine. Sometimes she would take that same napkin out to wipe the sweat off her brow, face, and neck then put it right back in that nook. After she was finished using the machine she went to the sanitary station to get another napkin with cleaning solution and, pretty much, just lightly wiped off only the screen and the small handles directly below the screen. She did not wipe out the nook at all, and did not put any effort into making sure the machine was wiped down appropriately after her coughing fits. I was really appreciative that a staff member, I alerted of the issue, cleaned the machine thoroughly. After about 15-20 min the lady came back to get on another machine further down the row, and did not clean that one at all after she was done...instead she quickly made a pass over the screen and handles of the machine next to the one she was using( I think she forgot which one was hers). I went ahead and thoroughly cleaned that one for other guests that came after her. While I understand why people might not want to wear a mask while working out, It seems to me if you had a cough like that (especially during a pandemic) you would wear a mask for the safety of those around you, but I guess thats up to every individual...isnt it. All I have to say is please be safe and look out for others during these times.Update: Within a day of my original post, the owner of the gym respectfully replied to my review. I appreciate them taking the time to acknowledge my concern and to let me know they are always working to improve the gym experience. I really dont think theres much more the owner can do about clients like the one I described, other than their continued efforts to keep the gym clean and post their recommendations for mask wearing, distancing, and hand washing (like they already have). For this, I had to bump my rating up to 4 stars. Thank you so much!! I love Planet Fitness!

He loves what he does and treats that facility as if it is his own. He takes great pride in his work and the patrons. He is the face of PF and he represents it well.

I love this planet fitness. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. The gym is constantly cleaned all throughout the day. It is an all around positive environment.

I started my fitness journey in October 2020. The price at planet fitness was the best deal in the Savannah area, and so much is included in that price that I never imagined. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in helping me know which workouts to complete and stretches to start and end my workout with. Every time I go in, one of the crew members is cleaning and sanitizing. The location is very convenient and the added massage options are definitely worth the black card price.

I always feel safe when I’m here! I feel safe at all locations. They keep the facilities clean and are not afraid to ask someone to wear a mask! They are also very professional and friendly!

Great gym! Location is great, has that new gym feeling, its clean, and quite large inside. Theres TONS of machines and other equipment and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning again.

The Planet Fitness Savannah Ogeechee Road Location Staff is always friendly, professional, hard working, dedicated to providing excellent Customer Service, and encouraging to everyone who uses and visits the gym. They really take the time to listen and respond to customers, and everyone who works out and exercises at there is willing to help spot for and provide helpful tips and pointers to other clients who ask them. The Planet Fitness Savannah Ogeechee Road Location is more comparable to a supportive team or family than it is to other gyms of its size and kind.

Great fitness center! I seriously enjoyed the hydro massage before and after my workout. Especially love the 360 area have a good place to get some heavy calisthenics done. The bathrooms were moderately clean. I cant wait to go back!

Clean with a lot to try out. I love planet fitness. I am a black card member which gives me tanning and body enhancement and all the massage tables and chairs you can count on.Showers and changing rooms and lockers are perfect

This place has a Hunk alarm. Been to many gyms and the obnoxious tough guys this place pivots their brand around has never been much of a problem. I get they are trying to run off anyone fit enough to make their clientele feel insecure. But this is ironically by far the most judgemental gym ive ever been to. This company and its backwards corporate ideology can go to hell.

They make some wear mask. Some don’t have to. Depends if your in there’s friends list. I nicely and professionally inquired about some of the mask rules. Was met with real rude answers by the manager. Ms Brianna is wayyy unprofessional. She didn’t approve of my questions or either didn’t know the answers. So just decided to kick me out of the gym. if you decide to go to this gym def don’t ask questions about anything.

We were in Savannah while on vacation and wanted to stay on track with our workout. We are members of PF in Daytona Beach, so I googled Planet Fitness and this facility popped up as closest to our hotel. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with its size and cleanliness as well as the pleasant staff members. Marcus was friendly and welcoming as he checked us in. Such a polite young man! As we began our workout, we noticed the huge cardio theater, giant fans, and ample exercise equipment. This Planet was bustling, but it didnt feel crowded. There were two of nearly every piece of exercise equipment and six Smith Machines. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was working diligently keeping it that way. We returned the following two days and continued to be impressed with your facility and staff. What a pleasant experience! Were sad to have to leave Savannah and return to our small, dingy, completely subpar PF in Daytona (we plan on showing them pics of what a REAL PF looks like). Thank you for proving that Planet Fitness can be well-run and stocked with exercise equipment to fit everyones needs. We will be back next time were in Savannah! T & J

Overall the gym is good order and the staff is attentive and helpful. Mask policy is confusing. But I enjoy going to this gym

First time using my membership and I was worth joining. The Facility is awesome.

This planet fitness could use some cleaning. I laughed that people said it was clean...not sure what clean means to them and that scares me. There was enough dust on the treadmill hood to write my name in the dust. My home club is Palatka FL, which is owned by Taymax and is very clean...I worked at the ST. Augustine location last year and also owned by Taymax was extremely clean. Yesterday I worked out in the planet fitness in Apex NC, was very very clean. On a lighter note, staff was friendly but need to make friends with some cleaning products. I said poor quality as cleanliness is part of the quality aspect of a service related customer based industry.

I injured my back in January 2020. My former employer does not get adequate treatment for any of their employees. I need surgery and physical therapy. Planet Fitness has a water jet massage bed and its available for use by members who have a black card membership. Their membership only costs 20.00 (10.00 for a regular membership). Their gym is adequately equipped and is open 24 hours a day, six days a week. My back hurts very badly, regularly and I can get some of the therapy I need. They also have trainers who will assist you with your training needs. Better get the black card membership. You can take a guest, and you can visit any location in the U.S..

Generally a very good facility. Great Staff. However, much of the bike equipment is broken and has been for years (virtually since they opened their doors); stationary bikes in particular have almost all been broken for several years. Of the 5 bike they have, only one works properly. Several have severed wires that control the audio-visual, the peddles grind and squeak loudly, several have internal components that are worn and create sticking points as you peddle. I have very politely mentioned these issues to various staff over last two years, multiple times... Theyre all still broken... Use the PF on Eisenhower Drive if you have a choice. I can post photos if you’d like...

Dont particularly care for the layout of this location, I wish they had more designated space for mats. But other than that its great

Lots of people didnt wear masks but the cleanup crew was good with refilling sanitizing products. Also, the workout areas were spaced out.

Not a bad location and has everything a total PF has. Its clean, has the 30-minute circuit thing if youre into it and a decent amount of dumbbells for free weights.

Clean facility. Large showers with a seperated dressing area in front of the shower. Each stall had its own disinfectant spray so you can disinfect before/after use. The ONLY Planet Fitness I have seen do this so far.

I really enjoy this Planet Fitness. Friendly staff. 18 wheeler/RV friendly parking. A must stop for me when in Savannah GA.

Been a member for one year they closed the door. For covid them when i come back i found out that they open our account behind our backs with out any notification and we need to pay 40 dollars because we are late fees and we dont know nothing about it because they didnt tell us nothing

Man...This place always is dirty in the tanning rooms, always has broken equipment, always out of paper towel, you have to check 4 dispensers to find paper towels.Door handle broken in tanning room, if there was a fire you would die.I wish there were more options for gyms.

I absolutely love this place. I just recently started working out before work instead of after, so Have used the showers for the first time. They defiantly needed some cleaning up. But regardless, I still love this place.

I’m not going to say it was totally horrible it was extremely nice very well organized however as I said in one other comment or review the only problem that I have with planet fitness is that when there’s a first time person that comes in to their establishment they should at least I mean the bare minimum is to give them a quick general synopsis or tour which will allow them to become familiar with the machines that are in the building it makes you a little overwhelmed and that is not good so at any rate the place is nice is very well organized very clean however for a person that is not tech savvy it could be a little intimidating. That’s just something for them to consider.

Hi all,I am currently an active duty service member and joined this gym in March of 2019. I then left in July of 2019 to the Middle East. Come to find out, you can only cancel this membership at the physical location or through mail (neither of which I had access too). The gym refused to let me cancel by phone and made me continue payments on the account. My point being, this is not a moral way to run a business and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Working out helps me so much, the no judgement zone helps even more! Its hard enough to get here ... I dont need anything (judgemental looks) to stop me!

I have been working out about 3 months now... I go early in the morning and I enjoy going. The facility is usually clean. When I walk in the employee is always cleaning or walking around. She always speak to me and my sister. But when we are leaving the one employee at the receptionist desk is extremely nonchalant. She NEVER speaks, have a good day, or nothing!! Every time I look she’s on her cell phone. Yesterday I took the initiative to ask her for her name (because she never has on a name tag) and i spoke to her, I told her I’ve been coming the past few months and she never speaks so I’m going to introduce myself first. Well for starters she gave a very nasty look and simply replied “My name is Kia”. So today when I went I assumed she would have spoke or said have a good day, NOPE I WAS WRONG.... she was on her phone again as we left and said absolutely nothing. That’s my only issue. She’s very nonchalant and have poor customer service skills to be in this type of business. Also I’ve noticed her appearance is not up to part. On numerous occasions her pants was dirty and stained. And she gives off the impression that she doesn’t like her job.

I love Planet Fitness because of the great equipment, so many machines, nice staff. And mostly for the price. I am a Black Card member so I can visit any Planet Fitness available. I noticed yesterday in Savannah the bathrooms are not clean. Or maybe I came on the cleaners off day. The toilets are dirty, the sinks in the bathroom...well u get what Im saying. Im just a little disappointed but I will go again, hopefully it will be cleaned and floors mopped and smelling fresh.

The jump area is really cool there.
