She saved my bridesmaid dress! I had taken my dress to another shop who either willfully butchered it or let a talented 5 year old try to alter it. It was awful and with just under a week before the wedding, I was almost sure I was going to have to tell the bride I couldn’t walk. Luckily, I found Aloha! She worked magic and the dress looks amazing on! I had the best experience here. I brought her my wedding dress one week before before my wedding and she got it done very quickly. Great personality and great work, I highly recommend this shop! Called the lady earlier in the week asking about my wedding dress and if she could alter it. She said yes and to come in any time. 2 days later I bring it in and she turned me away immediately saying had eye surgery and cant do wedding dresses. I understand that she had surgery and needed to rest her eyes. But she could have told me that when I called so I didnt waste a trip.

I called on Wednesday to make an appointment to have my dress altered and she told me to come anytime after 3pm on Saturday. I showed up at 3:15 and the door was locked. I knocked on the glass, tried calling her and nothing. That is horrible customer service to me and such a waste of time.

This woman is a saint. I bought a dress a year ago and needed it for an event in August. I started to panic that it wouldn’t zip at the top so went to another seamstress that tried to charge be $260 to expand the dress I declined that seamstress and went to Ahola. She firmly held the top that would not zip and zipped it all the way up. No expanding was needed!!She was a live safer and absoutly delightful. I would highly recommend going to this establishment!!
