Every time I called to get any info on my car I had to be transferred to several different departments. My car sat in the tow yard for 11days before an adjuster even looked at it. He never even went there. I had to go take pictures of the car and do all the work. I called the clams manager 7 days after the accident and did not receive a call back from her until 6 days later. I had to call the shop several times with phone numbers because no one in all state would do it. All in all it’s now 13 days and there is still no answer on if my car is totaled. I call leave messages don’t get calls back. I even called the complaint department and spoke with Karen Helmrich who was very rude and condescending to me. I was no angel tho but still the customer is always right I believe the saying is. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said she is the highest and that the next level was the president. I asked to speak to him and I quote” he’s too busy to speak to the likes of you! He’s out running the company “ than she informed me that I had to speak to the claims manager and there was nothing else she was gonna do and then hung the phone up. I will end up filing a complaint with the insurance buro of South Carolina and be seeking legal action. When I got the insurance I was told it would mirror my usaa policy it does not. So now I am not covered for any injuries of my own but if the deer that hit me went to the hospital he would be covered. I stayed with Allstate because you were cheaper than usaa and were offering me the same policy. Guess not so now I am screwed and not one person in Allstate cares. Spoke with the owner on Tuesday of this office said he was personally going to look into it. He said he would call me back its Thursday now still no call back ... dont go there for insurance
The employees are very helpful and willing to do everything they can to help you enroll in a policy in an effective amount of time. They answered every question we had & even called from home to make sure that the proper documentation was received so there would be no problems with submitting the policy & coverage would be exactly as discussed with no surprises in price. Amazing customer service!
I would never recommend Allstate to anyone. I bought a car at Coastal. The Allstate guy was like man I can get you a better deal we talked back and forth. He was able to drop my insurance payment down by a lot. My husband and I decided this was right decision. Payments started at 145 per month for 2 vehicles. 6 months later it went up to 165 per month. 6 months after that we went up 179. Here we are at renewal again 2 months ago BAM 233 a month. There was no change in driving record, cars, nothing. You call they basically say the state of Georgia increased your rates. There is nothing we can do. I said there is no way that I am gonna pay that much and started doing my research go with a different insurance provider at 115 per month. Check the mail this weekend and low and behold I have a bill from Allstate for 138.01. I called and spoke with Debbie and she advised me this is from 18 days of insurance. She also stated that over the last year they took huge rate increase. That is so funny that I can go somewhere else and get my insurance over 100 cheaper a month. Nothing but a rip off. Check out other companies. I should of stayed with my original provider.
