We started out a day working in the yard, when my husbands foot sunk into the ground...He dug down to find that our septic tank was backed up and leaking.I called Southern Sanitary and they sent out Chris. Nice guy, very professional. He let us know the lift station was not working properly. So the next step was a pump out. Kent came out to take care of the, super friendly and professional as well. Ok, so the next gentleman out was Carlos, I was unable to be home and he was amazing at letting me know what needed to be done and taking care of it. We had a new light put on, so we would know when the lift was not functioning, Carlos also replaced a float that was no good. He sent me pictures as well. He really went above and beyond.The people that work for Southern Sanitary are amazing. They get the work done, it is not a pretty job at times. I have to say that I would call them anytime and would recommend them 100% to anyone.Thank you all for making a very distressing situation easy. I am grateful and appreciative.

I have used Southern Sanitary Systems for service for years, but I just used them to replace my entire septic system (from 1966). I am more impressed than ever with Southern, and I am absolutely amazed at how much work they accomplished in the first day. They will be ready for the county inspection on day 2, and then they will cover appropriately and put down grass seed and straw, so thats a complete new system in two days.Vincent and Walter were very nice and very professional. They had NO down time and they orchestrated every step of this beautifully. As I said, I am very impressed with how they have handled this job and would definitely recommend Southern Sanitary for your septic system needs.

I would like to say that Miguel is very professional and knowledgeable, he goes above and beyond to empty and clean bottom of septic tank as well filter. As usual, I discovered late on a Friday afternoon that my septic tank was full and the pipe in my foundation was clogged. I called 4 businesses and Southern Sanitation was the only one to call me back. They arrived within an hour and in a very short time everything was back to normal.This was my second time using them and I remain impressed with the level of service and professionalism. Other businesses could learn a valuable lesson from them. I’m pretty much their customer for life at this point.

We must be the unlucky ones because I see a lot of positive reviews but we are having a terrible time with Southern Sanitary. We need to have our drain field replaced and were quoted 6-8 weeks for the job to be started. We’re at 8 weeks now and no contact from Southern Sanitary at all. We had to pay them to come pump our tank while we waited for “our turn” - now it’s overflowing again and they say there’s nothing that they can do except have someone come out and pump it again on our dime. They’ll be happy to take your 50% deposit but don’t count on them being in a hurry to finish the job. Next time we will use a more reliable company for septic services.

Dan the guy who came to pump the septic tank was super nice, helpful, informative, honest, and punctual. My sister-in-law owns the house and after doing a load of laundry the system backed up into her tub and shower. I thought the system may need to be pumped only to find out after Dan visited the property, that the line needs unclogging. Dan is an honest guy who was super helpful. He suggested putting in a clean out and replacing the cast iron pipe. His co-worker Chris should be reaching out to us to discuss pricing. Overall, great guy, great company, and they are trustworthy, reliable, and Dan genuinely helped me. I highly recommend this company and Dan to take care of all your Septic needs.

I used them to clean my septic and I spoke with the gentleman about my lift station may not be working properly. He said that he would report this to office to have someone come out to look over and there was no fee to do that. The very next day they called and had some one out. Yup the lift station was old and was done. I saw it...top rusted out. They turned it in and got back to me right away with a quote. After checking prices it was a fair quote and I felt they would get the job done without waiting a long time. This was a Friday and it was a holiday weekend but by Thursday David was here to do the job. David did a great job he is an asset to your business, as well as the gentleman who pumped out my tank, which also says a lot about your company. You have good employees working for you. Great customer service.

I couldnt be happier with Southern Sanitary. Our septic began to back up after a long rain. It is our first year in this house, and I wasnt aware that heavy rain could have that effect. I called on a weekend, and David explained that he could come out, but I would pay a lot for a weekend call and that it could just back right up again. We waited and it did improve a little, but we decided to have it pumped anyway. We were very happy with the regular price, and Matt came out and he was absolutely fantastic. He really went the extra mile (like, for real!) to make sure we didnt have any problems. And he has a wonderful personality, he was cracking me up. I will definitely be using Southern Sanitary forever, and recommend them to everyone.

Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend. House toilets and shower drains suddenlty backed up while extra houseguests staying over... septic tank was full!...called these guys. In less than 2 hours they showed up ... in less then 1/2 hour they emptied tank, cleared the clogged drain, sealed up the tank and everything was back to normal...what a lifesaver,.... super friendly, honest and quick....I can recommend %100.

Do not use this company for a septic tank inspection, they told me the tank drains excelent and it shows some deterioration for a normal fiberglass tank. But on their report for the potential buyer they said the tank has cracks and needs to be replaced right now, but obviously with a price tag of $6300.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!I am not the first person that complains about this issue!!!

David and Justin came out to diagnose issue with a slow draining, septic tank not draining to lift station. They found the issue, took the time to explain everything and give a crash course in septic system maintenance. Finished by installing a riser for the septic system. Honestly, can not say enough great things about David, Justin, and this business. Dont look further for any service they provide, just call them already. He did not try to pump the tank because the system was working properly and it was not needed. I will definitely be using Southern for my septic needs.

Were being pumped much more often than we should be and a different company gave us an estimate to replace the drain field, which is more than were willing to spend.David w/Southern explained that the drain field might still good, but maybe the distribution box has failed. This is a less expensive replacement if it turns out to be true (fingers crossed). He also explained they have free estimates in order to determine the issue.The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is that I found the Sat. pump out of $475 to be more expensive than others in the area.Ill be calling today :)

Matt just came today, a Saturday. He came within 2 hours after the problems started. He uncovered both sides of the tank, pumped, and helped remove a blockage which was more of a problem than the septic which was not totally full. He was friendly, efficient, and an overall good guy. Of course, I paid the weekend rate but it was worth it to have this problem solved quickly. Thanks Matt!!

Absolutely zero communication during the work we had done (disposal of old septic tank and county sewer hook up). I was out of town at the time and asked to be kept informed regarding the status of the project but no one ever called me regarding the numerous delays and issues that occurred. A septic vent was installed in my yard without my notification or approval and I am scheduled to have a driveway installed in that location next week. The plumbers were EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful when I tried to communicate regarding this issue and told me it was my fault even though I was never informed, then tried to charge me an additional $700 to move the vent. VERY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
