We hired Plumbing Today to install a gas line for our pool heater. It has now been 8 days since job was started. The guys came out and did partial install for inspection and the asked for payment in full. Installer said inspector would come out and inspect pipes and then he would be back. After 7 days with 18 deep trench on side of house no one has been out yet. We called and get there call center and they have no idea about our job and forward emails to 4 different departments and say someone will get back to us. They never did yesterday after two calls. Today we call three more times and each time they say someone will get back to us within a few hours. Still no call back. We go online and find out they never even pulled a permit for our house. Now we have a gas line ran without permit and no answers from this company after 48 hours. Tomorrow we will be calling county to find out about what to do now. I would stay far away from this company since they started work without a permit and wont call or show back up.

Shane did a great job fixing our broken pipe in 1 hour. He was courteous and professional. We thought the price was a bit over the top when he told us it would cost almost $1,000 for one hour of repair work. We told him we had prepared the worksite for him by digging up the water main and turning it off so that the water could drain on the repair site. We also had dug up the repair site and removed all roots and dirt surrounding it. He revised the cost to half the amount.

Jose Vejar and Michael Collins were the 2 technicians who provided all the necessary work to correct several leaks in my bathroom sink. They examined the problem, determined what needed to be done, explained the work it would entail and once I agreed to the price they proceeded to replace and customize my 2 bathroom sinks so that Icould feel confident all the sources of the leaks were corrected. Jose and Michael were extremely professional, knowledgeable and hard-working. Yesterday, a male plumber came from the same company, complaining the moment that he came in the door that it was the weekend and there were only three plumbers on call. His attitude was extremely negative and something I had never experienced with this company. I was charged $188.00 Plus dollars/cents? So then today, I was so relieved and happy that the pan was left under the sink plumbing equipment as now there WAS water in the pan, when there WAS NOT before that. Now, since he repaired it, the sink no longer held water and it leaked.So, I called Plumbing today back snd told them this, and they sent out a nice young lady who fixed it up in no time. Myself, I see no future with that fellow and his negative attitude . You approach life negatively, then you are very likely to get that negative response in some way or another. Be positive and uplifting even in the worst of times, and you will find yourself choosing better options in life that will bring on the positive outcomes you so desire. Made an appointment on line and confirmed before 6am, sounds great, right?It was great until they called at 145pm to say they couldnt make it. Appt time was 12 - 3, wanted to reschedule for another day. If you really need help, dont call this company unless you want to schedule several plumbers.

Update on our gas line from post below. After 16 days since they came out and did the first part of install we still do not have a permit pulled because they turned in the wrong paperwork. So a job that should have taken 3 days is now on 16 with no end in sight. They even just sent me the bill to pay for a job not even completed.

The service was outstanding. Jose and Brandon did an outstanding job. They installed a new waterless hot water heater. it required Gas, Electrical, and plumbing work. They worked on the installation for eight hours. The work was professional. The work was thorough. I would hire this firm and these gentlemen to do this work again in a second. I highly recommend.

So far, Greg just gave me an estimate on a new tankless hot water heater for my unit. He was professional and knowledgeable. I only stayed away from 5 stars as Ive had no installation or real service yet. I dont want to get ahead of myself!!The guys arrived on time and were very competent. They also worked steadily and got the job done promptly. My only criticism is that in the AGE of COVID, loud joking and talking should be minimized. At times, this was not the case.

Extremely expensive! Just paid 700$ for few plumbing services. Should have asked for an estimate upfront.

We had a tech come out mid/late August to unclog our shower because the water wouldn’t go down. After it it was unclogged the tech stated everything should be good. He also stated that with the cost of the visit there was a camera view of the pipes included and that we could get the video of it once it was done. Once we set up the appointment for the camera view, the tech Ben Levy came and supposedly did the process. He stated everything looked good and that he would email the video. Last week the shower started to back up again and we called on a Monday to try and set up a service appointment. Come to find out in the tech’s notes he put down that we needed a jet cleaning and we rejected it, which we were completely unaware of. We were suppose to get a call back. Since no one called, we called again on Wednesday, I spoke to Jen and she stated Ben was suppose to call, send us the video, and give us an estimate. Again no one called. I called this morning around 10 AM and spoke to a gentleman who said this was going to be escalated to quality control dept and someone would return our call. It’s after 3 pm, $200 out of pocket, almost a month later and still no one call back. Truly disappointed with their customer service.

I know this review is long, but I think it’s important information to back up my 5-star rating! I had a water heater that was in really bad shape, and I didn’t know just how bad it had gotten because it’s hidden behind a panel in the wall of my closet. So, when I stopped getting hot water, I took the panel off & what I found was shocking!! I knew it had to be dealt with ASAP! I made appointments for estimates from 3 different companies to get it replaced right away. In all honesty, while the estimate I received from Plumbing Today was very reasonable, it was actually about $100 more than the lowest one. However, the amazing customer service I received blew the other company out of the water! From my first phone call to schedule the estimate, to the great interaction I had with Alex Jennier who came out to meet with me, it was well worth spending a little extra money! So, I spoke with Alex on a Thursday, and he got me scheduled for the following Monday to have a new water heater installed. He even took the time to answer a few additional questions I had before I made my decision. My appointment window was between 12-6pm. Cole Hoschouer and his partner Matt (I’m sorry, I don’t know his last name) arrived at approximately 1:45pm, much sooner than I anticipated. Cole explained everything they were going to do and they went straight to work. They wore masks and booties, and were very careful and respectful of my property. I have a townhouse with stairs that are kind of steep, so I know the removal of the old tank from my closet upstairs and installation of the new one wasn’t easy. But Cole and Matt did an excellent job, left everything clean, and were on their way out the door by 4pm. I will definitely be using these guys for all of my plumbing, A/C and electrical needs from now on!I’d like to add that the day after they installed my new water heater, the toilet they used to drain the old one into stopped working properly. I wasn’t sure if it was a coincidence or not, so I gave Alex a call. He had Cole call me and we discussed the issue. Although he felt the problem was unrelated, he had me set up an appointment with their dispatcher for him to come take a look at it later that day. He arrived just a short time later. It turned out the problem was not caused by the water heater installation, but was likely caused by something getting stuck in one of the lines. Cole flushed it out and got it working again. He didn’t even charge me. When I talk about fantastic customer service, this is exactly what I mean!! Thank you Alex, Cole & Matt ... you made this whole unexpected mess very easy on this first-time homeowner!

My whole house was repiped with hot and cold water lines. Also all service lines were replaced and a 40 gallon hot water tank installed. These 2 guys were pros. They knew what to do, every step along the way. Everything was done with care and to plumbing code. And they also, give you what you need. When job was completed, they made sure all was left clean. I was very pleased with the results. Everything was done and it looks very neat.

I made an appointment for what I thought was a simple water leak of my hot water heater and multiple important issues were uncovered during the inspection and repair. I am so impressed with the quality and knowledge of the staff and although my bank account is very lean right now, the service folks were extremely thorough and repaired all of my issues so that I will be in good shape for a long time to come. He completed his task of checking my sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and water heater. Flushed out the water heater and replaced the inside fixtures in the toilet! Had a leak under the kitchen sink but I couldnt tell from where it was coming. Jon came out at the expected time and diagnosed the problem - leak from the disposal. Jon offered a couple of options to replace it including purchasing one on my own to save some money. I ordered my replacement online and Jamarcus came by to finish the job (on time). Ive had bad experiences with plumbers before and I really appreciate the notification calls and prompt arrivals.....not to mention, cleaning up after yourself. I needed assistance connect my faucet line to the water line. The tech was extremely nice and to the point, he needed to replace both valves to connect the faucet line and did so in less than 30 mins. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the pricing was ridiculous. He quoted me 420$ for both valves and then magically was able to to reduce it by half price. I went ahead with the service because I liked the tech and I know he’s just doing his job and offering quotes that the company recommends but I’d suggest not overpricing customers, the negative reviews are correct by saying they over price

Tom/ Panithi was the tech who came out to help us scope the plumbing for a house we had on contract to buy that had cast iron pipes. He did a very thorough job, was very knowledgeable, and communicated very well what was wrong and needed to be done to get it fixed. He gave me a quote for the work needed on the spot. He was very friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend and hire again for any future plumbing issues. They also do electrical and air work too. Plumbing todays prices are very reasonable and more affordable than others we had called.

My house has an old system that they have kept running with maximum cooling and minimum costs. Manuel was here today and, as usual, I am an extremely satisfied customer.

The plumber was excellent. However, I received a text at 12:00 noon that the technician was on his way, and the technician did not arrive until almost 3:00 p.m. . This was not the fault of the technician I think, but the system that they use.

Leaky brass fitting on water heater needed to be repaired. First attempt solder joint leaked. Had to remove expansion rank. Didn’t relieve pressure in tank, caused expansion tank to take off like rocket, going through ceiling. Second attempt melted Teflon tape and still leaked. Third attempt, over tightened fitting and broke it. Needed to start all over. Three hours later he left, and water heater started to leak and needed replacement next day.

I had a blockage that had stuff coming up into shower/tub . Called Sunday evening and tech Panithi came on Monday. Very professional and informativeI have never used Cool Today/Plumbing Today before but would definitely recommend them. All is good so far
