Over the pool build, I have updated my review several times. Often, it was a cry for help as I could not get a response from the construction manager as to an update or timeline. Ill try my best to give a fair review.The bad: 80% of the headache was due to Taylor in sales. She did not follow up and in general, did not seem to be very engaged in her job. Pool was initially delayed as she lost the contract and deposit. Then, it was later discovered that she left out items I selected and were included in the final price in the contract. This caused an avoidable and unnecessary dispute with the owner. In the end, Holiday did rectify this to their credit.The construction manager is overwhelmed and probably needs help. The number one issue was lack of communication on her part. This caused us a ton of frustration as material shortages and supply issues were not communicated. I understand the current environment is difficult, but please let your clients know if there is an issue or setback.The good: Dan, the quality control manager, was fantastic and kept me fairly sane during this process. Dan did respond to my calls / texts and basically took over the last two weeks for the construction manager to get the project completed. I probably drove him crazy, but he earned the bottle of Titos I am about to drop off in appreciation of his efforts.The construction of the pool itself, while slow, came in waves. When we were scheduled, the crew was very professional and hard working. I was very impressed with Holidays construction operation. The pool itself turned out beautiful and we are very happy with the final product. There are a few items to fix, but the warranty department has been very impressive and quick to correct the more major issues.I have attached a couple of photos of the final product.

Holiday Pools installed this beautiful pool in Gran Paradiso about three years ago. In 18 months the lions heads fell off THREE times. After 6 months of phone calls to them and empty promises, Dan (quality control person) sent out two technicians who installed the lion heads properly. Hopefully their customer service will improve. A pool is a big investment, and the company that installs it should stand behind it.

I will update my review as we go on, but for those looking into choosing a pool contractor I want to share my experience thus far.Design: I signed on March 25th, 2021 with Troy as my designer and he was beyond helpful in assisting us with price and the choices we have made. He was honest with things such as pavers versus concrete and he didn’t leave out ANY of the features on our wish list. He even made recommendations I never thought about like adding footers for a future screen enclosure in the case we decided later. I love that Holiday uses top quality materials like Pentair equipment and Wet Edge. That was my deciding factor over other companies who use products like Jandy or Hayward. Support with Pentair is superb as I used to work in the pool industry for three years. We chose our colors, paver selection and surface. I was told 6 months from sign to swim, which granted has passed.Permit Phase (Current Phase): Fast forward 3 months later on 6/12/21 my permit was pulled through my local county. The permit took 2 months to issue due to the tight constraints of the construction industry. I knew this as I continue to watch the status of my project(s). They are not kidding when they tell you they are at the mercy of the counties (ESPECIALLY HILLSBOROUGH). Then I decided on a whim to add 8” of deck to my pool and sent in the required monies and paperwork. Again, Troy was there to answer any questions about the process and within a week I saw the revision posted on the permit site and completed. Then I noticed two pools moved into construction (inspections scheduled) and I begin to worry. So, I sent an email to Holiday and within a week my explanation was given. Permit was corrected but the revised stamped documents were not upload by the county, which are needed for my job. Tina graciously explained all of this and now I patiently wait, no biggie. You have to understand these constraints related to the pool industry and while it WAS COVID related, now it is a different beast all together. Shortages are affecting all of America and that includes the construction/Pool industry. My good friend is trying to close on his home with a renowned builder but can’t because his newly constructed home, which is boarded up awaiting WINDOWS!I am not a paid actor nor a family friend, I simply understand. I can back that up since several similar companies either don’t want to take jobs or told me a year from sign to swim! Same boat if you ask me. The only people completing pools in 30 days are charging 20k-25k more! I think I will wait and allow Holiday to do their job and I am told I’ll have the best pool EVER. I believe it as I have seen well over 5 completed projects thus far. Has my timeline been met? No. Am I bothered? No. Is there room for improvement in the communication department? Yes. Did I miss my summer swimming season which made me sad? YES. However, I think I will be okay. Either way I cannot WAIT to take a dip. Just have to wait like everybody else and DO your research. Next step construction and word of advice be nice to those around you and ASK. They WILL get back with you. More to come as I graciously await construction.

Cody and Jeremy are the best employees and so responsive . The people who came out and built the pool were very nice. The rest of the company has issues with responding and communicating. No one returns calls, the office staff is not organized or responsive and I have had to beg for answers. Cody and Jeremy are the only two who care and do their jobs well ! Those two gentlemen deserve a raise ! They are amazing !

This company lacks a simple response of Where are we at with things? they do not give updates whatsoever, its like prying teeth with them. I really wish I went with another company, the sales rep and the design choices made me give 2 stars but other then that, I highly recommend paying more and going elsewhere.

I ordered a pool hand rail from Holiday Pools and the best part was the person who came to install it. Louis was very professional and customer oriented. He did a great job. I was very happy with the job done by Holiday Pools>

We are just finishing up with our pool construction. The pool looks great and Jeremy is OUTSTANDING at making sure our pool water and system are being well maintained during this period. We also had a visit from Chris who followed up on a few punch list items. Chris showed up on Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend (who does that?) to take care of an electrical box/bubbler issue. Not only did he do that, but he stayed to take care of a few other items on our list- he was very professional and so informative about our pools system! I cant thank these gentlemen enough! Although we are not completed with everything it appears all is going in the right direction!!! Thank you also to Dan who was in touch to coordinate the help of these fine gents!

New pool,We purchased a new pool from Holiday, dealing with Taylor was a pleasure, she is on top of everything, and made the deal very easy. So far we are very happy we picked them. Thank you Taylor!

Louis from holiday pools responded to our call today for a leak and a grout repair. Louis was exceptional and very professional, the weather was very hot, humid and uncomfortable, nevertheless he was very diligent, helpful, and completed the work with a smile. Thank you Louis and Holiday Pool is lucky to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable tech working for them.

Tracy at holiday pools helped us design a gorgeous pool, spa, pavers, and lanai. She was so patient with us and we could not be more happy with the backyard design of our newly built Taylor morrison home. Dan is always responsive answering our calls about anything maintenance related and we really liked Jeremy and his intro to pool school.

I had Holiday build my pool as it was a new build...They have installed a salt pool and system AFTER move in. They did get my final building permit and have did general maintenance (paver and spa wires) repaired. Louis has done a great job (as well as Dave) and Jeremy has been great with responses (Destin from inside the office)

They have excellent repair techs. Very Polite and professional.

We had an issue with our heater, Chris came out to diagnose and find the problem. Unfortunately the part was on back order. A few days later, Art arrived to install the part and got us up and running. A few days later Louis came out to fine tune the heater and water pumping through the system. Before he left he also took care of a paver issue we were having around the skimmer! Thanks to everyone involved, a team effort got it taken care of!

We live at the Huron landing Community, Sarasota, After months of delays, Holiday pools started our pool two months ago, they show up without notice, after much wrangling, they have completed the concrete work of the main pool. But have not been here for nearly 5 weeks, despite we calling every other day or at least weekly and getting the assurance that they will be there asap. The uncompleted pool is now half filled with water, with frogs and baby turtles and Troy keep telling us they will be coming soon. the barrier around the pool is down, the pool in half full, i have 4 & 6 year olds . this is a potential hazard but none from holiday pools listening. the lady in charge of construction has not responded to a single email of ours. They don’t responses to communications ( emails, text, calls), they don’t show up when they promise, and they send workers they without any notice. This is very unprofessional .Will obviously not recommend Holiday pools to any one

Very professional and helpful when we have questions. They return calls promptly and have made our first foray into pool ownership a real joy.

Pool was installed in October 2020. it has not functioned properly since instillation. The latest issue is with the Spa leaking. The leak wizards company they called in was here with in a few days however It’s a construction issue and Holiday never showed up after that 2 months ago. It has been closed off waiting for repairs for 2 months multiple phone calls without responses and we ware told several times they would be here to “start” the repairs after the owner was contacted. Still they never showed up or gave a courtesy call to explain the no show or to reschedule. We have missed every holiday with family and friends visiting without a properly functioning pool since November. I would never recommends them regardless if they came in Uber priced from everyone else believe me it’s not worth it.

We signed a contract with Holiday Pools on December 4, 2020 and now almost seven months later and yet no pool, but plenty of issues like (1) a crew showing up unannounced one afternoon mid-May to start digging and in so doing damaged our entire in-ground irrigation system since we had no advance notice to cap it off; (2) without our permission drove a dump truck multiple times from the street across our property with no regard as to resulting damage thereby tearing up sod and breaking two sections of sidewalk which the HOA now wants $3600 to repair; (3) leaving large mounds of dirt covering and destroying multiple shrubs and trees. To add insult to injury, there is very little or no communication from this company even when voice messages are left and letters are emailed or even hand delivered regarding a timeline or seeking to know when a crew will show up to continue their work. We are EXTREMELY dissatisfied with this companys unresponsiveness, their disregard for our property as their customer, and the obvious lack of professionalism and communication displayed to us. Caveat Emptor -- buyer beware!!! Stay away from Jim McLeod and Holiday Pools even if they do beat the competition by a few bucks as its just not worth it!

This company is by far the worse as far as communicating.. ordered a pool back in 2020 and still hasnt finished yet!

The service varies week to week. I have to watch that the pool is being vacuumed and the filter cleaned. At one point, it had not been vacuumed for 4 months, but it did remained clean. The employment turnover is high, so you never know if the same guy is coming or not. Customer service, when theres an issue, is satisfactory at best.

Our pavers had settled and needed to be re-leveled. I reached out to Allen, the service manager, 4 months ago, who repeatedly promised he would get someone out to take care of it. In actuality, he did nothing. I then reached out to Dan, who was helpful during our build process and that guy had a crew out to us in 2 days. Bottom line, if Allen is not getting back to you, track down Dan. Dude makes things happen.

We have really been happy with our service from Holiday Pools and our technician, Roger is the best. Very friendly and does a great job. Highly recommend. They also came back out to our home 8 months after construction to fix drainage pipes that weren’t situated low enough for overflow drainage.

Very happy with our Holiday pool, especially the excellent customer service we’ve received from everyone we have dealt with. Pool school with Jeremey was great. He taught us all that we need to know being first time in the ground pool owners and relieved the anxiety we were feeling. We signed up for a contract with Holiday to provide weekly maintenance. Our pool technician Roger is fantastic. He shows up weekly and works hard to keep the pool crystal clear. He checks to be sure the chemicals are at the levels needed and all the parts are working properly. All that’s left for us to do is enjoy our beautiful pool. We are very satisfied.

The worst pool company in Florida they have left me with a pool that needs another contractor to fix. I had 3 leaks in total, 3 failed inspection, plumbing done wrong, do yourself a favor read BBB complaints and reviews and search the owner at Sarasota clerk of the courts I should have done all this before using them. Very unprofessional and very poor quality work.

They built the pool at my new home. We have emailed them on 2 occasions (8/16 & 8/23) and called 2 separate times (9/1 & 9/9) to have them come out and check the overflow pipe. As of this writing, they have not come out to my home. Absolutely terrible service.

My experience with Holiday pools as a built was not the best, however I did get their service and we absolutely LOVE Franco Gallo, we have had our pool for over 2.5 years and it has always been clear beautiful and clean,. He has the most positive attitude and is absolutely customer focused. I am sure I am paying more than with other services however having Franco taking care of my pool has been the best experience

This company has taken over 10 months to do my neighbors pool. In the process they damaged sprinklers and part of my property. They have tried to use my property to run sand and wheelbarrow through. They have not repaired any of their damage. When doing the coping around my neighbors pool 3 days in advance of completing that job, they came on her property and took some of the stones away thus did not have enough to complete her project. There are no available stones in North America now and she is getting the run around about how to complete this project.Terrible company not only for your project but your neighbors, our entire street has been distrubted by the destruction left by the crews and the tardiness of 10 months reaches further than just he property owner. My neighbor gets the run around with no answers. Stay clear!!!!

My name is Luis, and I like to share my positive experience with the company that built the pool at my house in Tampa, Florida, Holiday Pools of West Florida. From the beginning, I was informed in detail through the person I contacted the company to learn about the construction process and the contract; his name is Troy Strauss. He spent more than 2 hours explaining everything to me, and this has happened more than one occasion. He always expresses that the construction process can be affected by weather conditions and that it generally takes two to three months to finish the pool, I also called him on several occasions, and he always answered the phone and helped me with any information I need, I highly recommended this employee, have a great attitude to work, very responsible, very polite and respectful. Great for Holiday Pool have him. The approval permits only took one month in total, and the construction of the pool began on January 29, 2020, and ended at the end of March. I am pleased with the company; it was faster than expected and with excellent quality. Occasionally I have had to contact the company, and they have treated me with high quality, respect, here I have to mention the superb job of Jessica. She is always ready to help and resolve any situation. In the last period of completion, I have been contacted by Dan, the person in charge of this department, he has always called me with great respect and informed me at each step to follow. In my opinion, Holiday Pool has a wonderful employee that cares about the customer. It has been an enjoyable experience, and I consider it to be a company where every client who has plans to build a swimming pool in their house should keep number one on the list due to the high quality of pool construction and excellent customer services. I originally gave Holiday pools two stars however, once Dan from Quality Control got involved my problems were resolved ASAP! I am now completely satisfied with their quick response and the repairs that were performed.

Pedro has been maintaining our pool for about a year and a half. We find him to be very polite and very reliable. He does a good job. If for some reason he cannot come on his scheduled day of the week, he always texts us to let us know that he will be here the following morning. This way, we are not chasing him down to figure out when he wil be coming. We value Pedro as a service provider.

This is the most terrible company to work with.Started with setting up the contract and telling them how I wanted to have my pool to be. This was in April 2020.Nobody ever came before setting up the contract to see if it was really possible.During construction they found out I needed a stem wall and when we set up the contract they told me it was not needed. It was a change order and I needed to pay an extra additional cost of $9000 on top of the price and it still has not been painted all the way.During the construction they failed 4 inspections by the county.Some gentleman’s who worked at the pool did an amazing job and where very kind.Only a couple of them didn’t care about the pool even damaged the lanai to do their work and where rude to me!!!This problem got fixed after waiting for months.Before they started with the top deck I had to pay the remaining balance, which I didn’t want to, because the pool wasn’t finished. The wrote me a letter that if I didn’t pay them before a certain date they would go ahead and sue me. Of course reading the contract which stated I had to pay now, I paid the remaining balance, because I didn’t want to get sued.During construction the top deck started to crack and the company didn’t want to repair it, because it can happen. I know cracks can happen in concrete but if it happen during construction you have to solve this.After sending multiple emails/text and phone calls they came out to fix it. They used silicone which doesn’t work and needed to fix that using concrete filler. After that they needed to repaint it and used the wrong color of paint.Now it is still visible and they don’t want to fix it anymore.Saying he will send the owner his son to try and see what they can do for me and nobody came and now they say I have to stop complaining they can’t help me and nobody will come to solve the problem. This text I received today March 15,2021.They didn’t even offer me a compensation $.Now reading the reviews I’m not the only one, that makes me feel a bit better, but it also makes me sad that this is the way they handle problems.If I could turn back the time I would have never ever been in business with this company. Promising you everything and do nothing. Communication is terrible and if you still decide to work with this company make sure you make the contract that you don’t have to pay in full before it’s done and make sure you are not in a hurry with the pool, because they tell you it takes 4 months but it took them double the time and blaming it on the weather (which it was most of the time dry) and Covid, because that’s easy to blame it on.

Pedro is the BEST! He is always courteous, friendly and responsible. If he sees something that needs to be addressed he notifies us and provides communication to the office for a solution.He lets us know if he is going to be servicing our pool on a day other than our scheduled day. Great friendly service!

We had them out early January, in which the two ladies they sent out seem pretty dissinterested to begin with. However, we gave them a chance anyways hearing that they had good prices just for comparison, we followed up TWICE, got pretty and interesting responses to basically say they don’t care, and they’ll get back to us when they can - still haven’t got a price as of end of February.Needless to say we won’t be using them, and I don’t recommend anyone else does either. If they can’t be bothered to try and win a new customer and get them pricing, imagine how horrific the service will be actually building the pool.I don’t care how busy you get or the industry is, completely being nonresponsive and ignoring your potential customers is it pretty sure fire way to piss your reputation away.My advice - find someone else!

We really love our Holiday Pool at LW National and the weekly maintenance we receive. We had one glitch where we made a call and Dustin of Holiday Pools was on it immediately. Rodger maintains our pool weekly, and is very personable and professional. Definitely 5 star quality and maintenance!

Minus Star. Starting in Dec. 2017 and this nightmare still is not over. Two and a half years and over $250,000. spent for pool, paver decks, and pergola. Tearing up gunnite when they forgot to plumb the pool (!), months of piles of dirt, demands for more money, no payment for pool cover sub they contracted and more. Today: no main drain function or its cover. I thought my patience would bring results. Wrong, Its all true.

Stay away!! We had to use holiday pools through our builder. It’s been constant issues from day one. The pool wasn’t completed when we moved in, there was a water leak, the pool heater didn’t work, they put the wrong tile on the spill way, the pavers discolored, and they said they would stucco part of our back wall to make it look complete, then said they wouldn’t and it’s the builders responsibility. We also had a pipe burst where all the pool equipment was that drained the spa. The water leak cost me over $1000 and they did not want to give a dollar towards that after multiple discussions. Everyone will sound nice, but once the bills are paid, they will look away.I understand that mistakes happen but the worst part is they will not respond back or show any interest in addressing the issues. I will call multiple times and get zero responses. Voicemails, text messages, calling even the office and telling them I have tried multiple times has yielded no response. I asked to speak to the owner multiple times- he has not called and they have not given me his contact info to contact him. They stated “he is very busy”.Choose any other company as you will have a better experience. It’s unbelievable that as a company they just don’t care. We closed on our house December 2019 and are still having issues.

Holiday created a breathtaking custom pool for my family. Tracy was an expert liason in the design phase and the crews were very professional in work quality and customer service.Our pool is truly a masterpiece and has an instant WOW factor as the centerpiece of our home.We did have a few minor issues initially with our magic bowls although Holiday relentlessly addressed the items until we were fully satisfied.Special shout out to Dan The Man, Jeremy with pool school, and Tracy the design artist.

Had a great new pool and spa constructed by Holiday Pools of West Florida as part of my new home construction by Lennar at the Rosedale Country Club community in Bradenton, FL. Jeremy was my pool school instructor, and did an absolutely great job. Learned a lot, and felt that Jeremy was giving me unbiased instructions and recommendations. As a result of Jeremys knowledge and credibility, I signed my on going pool maintenance agreement with Holiday Pools of West Florida. Looking forward to a well maintained pool!

Great company always polite dont discriminate every single time they clean my pool Im too drunk to open the door. They dont let it fase them they just handle it.

We had issues with communication with Holiday from the beginning. There were delays which caused my wife and I much frustration. After seven months and numerous calls and emails, our pool was still Incomplete. Dan stepped in and helped to resolve most of the issues to get the pool finished. The pool and spa look great! We are happy with the finished product as it was completed just when the country shut down (March 20, 2020). The whole family enjoys the backyard now. Cant wait to have our first pool party...P.S. I would recommend the small mesh (20x20) screen for your pool cage. The little extra money will be worth it!

We are new to owning a pool and have only had pool school so I can’t review their weekly service yet but Jeremy was extremely thorough in explaining everything and was a delight to work with!

My wife and I have found Holiday Pools of West Florida, Sarasota, to be most professional. As a company, they are always ready to help and willing to go the extra mile to see to it that everything is running smoothly. We particularly like our pool tech, Abraham, who is professional, knowledgeable and personable.

Pool construction. Real bad attitude to repair damage to neighbors lot. They have 25 complaints at the Better Business Bureau... That says a lot about a Company and the owner....

Having THE WORST experience trying to get the project finished! Everything was fine until close to the end - my wife and I were very patient with regard to delays due to COVID-19 and weather. The pool and cage were finished in October 2020 and they asked for our final payment, however our doorsteps were installed in the wrong areas and there was construction debris and piles of dirt left in the yard. We went ahead and paid them and -wouldnt you know it - no one came out to fix the steps or remove the debris. We have been back and forth with them for months on end and continually get brushed aside. They finally removed the garbage and graded the ground only after repeated begging and getting several people involved. The footers were finally replaced but they look terrible and were installed at a slant and need to be redone AGAIN because the doors scrape them when they open. Its obvious that finishing the job isnt a priority now that they have our money. If you do decide to do business with them (which I cannot recommend), do NOT give them your money until the project is completely done!

We are so pleased with our pool technician, Abraham. He is reliable and does a great job. He is always very friendly and well liked in our community.

I built my new pool with Holiday Pools and the design is fabulous and one of a kind! I initially had a few issues, and Dan the warranty manager helped me tremendously. He got to the bottom of it and all is resolved. I have a beautiful pool that I can enjoy for many years to come. Thanks!

We interviewed 3 pool builders, large and small. When I met with Taylor she listened to our ideas(several lol) and offered great suggestions. I just knew we would have a great experience. Taylor did not over commit or over promise. Every week there has been someone here working on the pool. Her office provided excellent communication. I would receive weekly updates from Jesica in the office letting me know what to expect in the upcoming week.We could not be more pleased with the level of communication and quality of our pool so far . I highly recommend Holiday Pools.. Jessica and Taylor and there team are here every time I have a question! We love our pool so far and are so happy we Chose Holiday Pools !!!

We were having some issues with our spa and contacted Allen who is the manager of the service department. He came to our home on a Saturday morning and diagnosed the problem. On Monday morning, as promised, Allen sent Orlando who went above and beyond to assess and assist us with our situation. Orlando is amazing with his assessment skills and found the problem, fixed it and reported back to us what he did. It is people like Allen and Orlando that will keep us using Holiday Pools. Thank you to the owner who has the vision to hire people like Allen and Orlando.

I have a beautiful pool and the installation went great; however, service after the installation has been abysmal. I am hopeful they will rectify this situation soon, but after numerous text and calls to the service manager- it hasnt happened yet.Edited- this review was written a month ago and the installation of our pool lift is still not complete. There is, however, a huge hole in my pool deck.... I just want my handicapped child to be able to get in and out of the pool on the pool life that they agreed to install. This has been going on for months.

We are first time pool owners and selected Holiday Pool because of our sales person Paige. She was very responsive and knowledgeable of the overall pool process. Our overall experience was average only because of the communication during the building process. When there were delays in equipment or service, we needed to constantly follow up with them. If you are in a rush to get a pool you may want to use another company. However the end product is beautiful and Jeremy with pool school is AMAZING. After the pool was completed, if there were any issues, their problem resolution was very fast and we were given updates daily by Dan.

Our pool tech Abraham is the best! Our pool always looks amazing when he comes out and he always takes time to answer all of our questions and gives great advise and tips.

Holiday pools has been servicing my pool for the last 15 years or more. They have always been good about customer service. Over all of these years, I have had several different weekly technicians. My current technician, Josh, is the best. He is very conscientious, takes the extra time to be sure it is just right, and communicates very well and courteously with me. I highly recommend Holiday Pools and I hope to have Josh as my weekly technician for many years to come.

Driver almost ran into me making an illegal lane change then proceeds to get angry when honked at to avoid accident. Very unprofessional drivers, very poor attitudes and drivers basically asleep at the wheel. This happened 3-31-2021 at 7:28 AM at the exit to I-75 onto 301.

Dont know what we would have done without Jeremy from the service department. We had a problem with out pump and he came out within an hour. He is professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of our pool....Thanks again, Jeremy.

Holiday Pools of West Florida is our pool company that manages our neighborhood. They have always been professional, but one of their employees, Jeremy Salmon, took customer service to a whole new level. He took the time to engage and communicate in a language we understand about our pool, and how to maintain it properly. He also took the time to make sure everything was working in perfect condition prior to leaving. Holiday Pools need to do everything they can to keep this guy. He is first class!

The pool building process with Holiday Pools was beyond frustrating.... from damage to our neighbors property, to nearly zero communication from the builder (with no responses to message after message after message) to the cage failing inspection on 2 occasions... it was a nightmare. Late in the process we were finally connected with Dan, who was a breath of fresh air (he truly understands customer service and genuinely cares about the customer). Dan helped with a lot of our outstanding issues and held to his word. Had Dan been our point of contact from the beginning, the process would have been much smoother (and less frustrating). After construction was finally finished, Dan continued to be accessible and has helped resolve several other minor issues no questions asked. Can’t say enough good things about Dan! He is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars, otherwise I’d have a hard time not giving a 1 star review.

I started my pool building adventure by inquired with 5 different companies (all recommended by someone) holiday was the best priced, most professional and best in communication. I also thought it was a great advantage that since I was buying a Lennar home that they are the pool builder of choice by the builder and that they would be familiar in my community. So great! I signed the contract and off we went. They broke ground in may and I was told build would take 10-13 weeks. We had a number of miner problems and misunderstandings along the way that were irritating at the time but after a lot of push and pull got fixed. My major problems started when I started getting very strongly worded letters and emails from the company insisting on me signing over the final check insisting ALL the work was DONE. As a matter of fact I received one of these emails as I was watching the works doing some of the work. I have the email and documented time stamped pictures to prove it. I replied by saying the building was not complete and I won’t be signing the escrow check until it truly done. This escalated to a point that Holiday Pools sent a certified letter to me threatening to put a lien on my house if I don’t sign over the check. During all this back and forth the company did make it a priority to get the final few things at least under way and I was asked by Dan in the Quality control dept (one of the few at the company to get back to me and be proactive with the issues at hand) to “trust him” and he would insure my satisfaction. I signed the check over and thought everything was put to rest. About 2-4 weeks later the house next to mine (that was Simultaneously being billed as my pool was) back yard got leveled out and properly pitched showing how off mine was (2-3 feet). I immediately got the attention of the General Contractor of Lennar and asked why Lennar would do this and what they plan on doing to fix it. He promptly answered that he had noticed the problem about 2 weeks prior and had personally reached out to the General contractor/Forman of Lennar to make him aware of this problem from one professional to another and apologize for not letting me know as well. I have a screen shot of this communication that included a picture to there Forman clearing showing the problem. See the major issue is that during that 2-4 weeks I installed a fence and to make these corrections they would need to remove almost 100feet of fencing and then reinstall them. Fencing company told me that would cost $1,000. I immediately call holiday pools apx nov 15 and spoke to my rep, the owners Secretary and Dan (my go too guy for answers). I was told the owner, Jimmy, was personally going to take a look and see what needs to be done. A few days later I still didn’t have an answer and was told that the owner was going on Thanksgiving vacation And would attend to it when he got back. I followed up weekly through the month of December and then we got to a few days before Christmas and was told that the owner was going on a Christmas vacation and ....

Buyer beware. Here we are 10 years after they installed our pool and having to redo it. Not only would they not stand behind their warranty. The pool was constructed so the the pipes were ran across the top of the light in turn breaking the back of the light off. They would not fix it. Now I find that the pool was made with very poor concrete that included a large amount of shell. Now we have to have the steps completely removed and redone. Once the coating was removed I could wash away what they call concrete with my hose. I am not sure how it lasted as long as it did. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Although we did have issues initially, we were contacted by Dan who was incredibly courteous and very helpful. Unlike other people weve dealt with, he kept his word and followed through with the repairs he promised - even taking the time to come and check things out personally.Mistakes happen, but its what you do after that counts... & Its nice to know that a company cares enough to right wrongs or fix mistakes, rather than sweeping them under the rug. This was our experience with Dan from Holiday, who took care of the issues we were having and dealed with them promptly. (Which is a big deal Im sure; for a pool company in Florida to find the time to take care of these things, especially during the summer.)We were very happy and very thankful for our experience with Dan. Our pool technician is Franco he is very professional in his field of expertise!! He is knowledgeable and friendly. He is always very helpful checking what we need making sure the pool is running well and answers all our questions. We really appreciate the extra effort he puts into maintaining our pool. He even answer us after hours and gave us great information to fix problem that we encounter..

We are very satisfied with the quality of the people and the work performed by Holiday Pools. Bob, our weekly maintenance person is fabulous ... very professional, thorough and friendly. We recently had a pool pump issue and made a service call to have them check things out. They got the old pump working until a replacement could be installed. Orlando and Wayne came on site to perform the replacement a did a great job getting things back online in quick order. Well done!! Were not always here at the home so its great to know Holiday is looking after things for us.

We had an Aqua cal heat pump installed by Holiday pools and are glad we choose them. Very neat plumbing job . The heater is quiet and efficient. Dan always returned my calls and frequently checked on the job to make sure it was going well. I highly recommend this company.

The installation was great and the pool is beautiful; however, I have trying to get repairs for over 3 weeks- I have left multiple messages for repairs and asked the serviceman to relay the message-- and still no call back and no repair. Not being able to use your beautiful, very expensive pool is frustrating. Just a simple call back with a date and time the repair will be scheduled would be a step in the right direction.Holiday Pool immediately contacted me after leaving the 1 star review. The technicians came out the next week to repair the items. I have now changed the rating to a 3 star due to the fact the overall pool installation went smoothly and the pool is very good quality and beautifully made.

Orlando from Holiday Pools came out to reset our pavers & pool maintenance. He was awesome & did a fantastic job!! Very polite & professional!Today Franco came out to clean our pool & he also did a wonderful job! We are new to Florida & 1st time pool owners and it’s great to have a company with such great and knowledgeable employees!Thanks Holiday Pools!

Worst experience ever! They were behind schedule, didn’t pass city code twice, and I have had maintenance issues since opening! The tile on the sides of the pool constantly falls off! When I’ve contacted them initially, they gave me the run around for a couple of months and when they finally showed up for repairs they did a horrible job and even got paint all over my screen that I can’t get cleaned off. I have staining on the pool walls and floors that they said would go away and never did. I only went with them because they were tied to the builder and for the price I literally got half the pool my neighbors got for the same price!! RUN AWAY!! They talk a good game but they are liars!! I am a disabled veteran and they still ripped me off!! Total scam and I had the guys that built the pool even tell me how bad this company is compared to others they contract with. I wanted to add that the agreed drawing and what I paid for was not completed correctly. I paid for a six foot pool and my pool is 5 9 deep, the safety gate is routed improperly, and the plumbing is done incorrectly. I cant warn you enough as to how BAD this company is! Even the staff when I called, I was told that they only deal with the builder and not the owner, even though I had put 9K down on the pool that was included in my home mortgage/total purchase. Just extremely rude and I have had the pool for three years now and I am still posting on here trying to warn people to stay away. I wish I could give lower than one star!!**update**It has been 2.5 years since our pool was completed and our tiles on the upper portion inside of the pool have begun falling off into the pool. This is not a very difficult fix, I’m told but for as much as I paid for this pool it would seem fair that I could expect it not to fall apart yet. I also had to replace a portion of the plumbing that sprung a leak. This was slightly more expensive because it’s a specialized designed fitting for our pump system. The pool liner/marcite has streaks and looks very discolored. Seriously considering hiring someone to overhaul our 2.5 year old pool and bringing a lawsuit against Holiday Pools for their horrific performance. If users would like pictures please contact me. Again, stay away from this company as they seek to scam veterans out of our hard earned money!!I thought I would share some photos so it doesn’t appear that I am only a disgruntled customer. You can see some of the spots in the pool that are falling apart. My waterfall continues to lose portions of concrete exposing more and more of the spout, and it has only been less than three years! This is the third row of tile I’ve had replaced. The crack on the side will eventually give and fall into the pool. Who knows the cost for repairs to that portion. Well, I guess you can’t attach them. I’ll try to attach them to the google site for the company.I wanted to update everyone on the continuing saga of pool failure by this horrible company. The pool continues to fall apart and the cracks are increasing, causing greater concern for concrete failure. I brought this up during the build and they refused to do anything saying that it was normal. I checked with neighbors and their pools and they do not have any of the issues we do!!

Our pool technician Harold Castro Rodriguez has been maintaining our spa for over a year now. He is the best and should be recognized for his care, professional manner and works ethic each and every week. He is definitely deserving of recognition by Holiday Pools as one of their top technicians and should be recognized as such by the company. He is aces in our book! Holiday Pools has been terrible to deal with. Before starting our pool Tracy who has been our main contact ignored emails and voice mails. We asked several times when they were starting and what the time line was, never got an answer. They never told us when they were starting, I got home one day and the pool was started. They started about a month ago and work on our pool about 1-2 hours a weeks. For two weeks now they have barely worked on our pool but started a new pool a few houses down from us. I think they get several pools going so people can’t complain but then take forever to complete the pools. Several of my neighbors told me they were awful to deal with and the pool took months. We regret choosing them, if you are getting a pool use a different company.

Bob has been coming to take care of our pool maintenance and has done an outstanding job! He is proactive when cleaning and maintaining our pool! Thank you!

Our pool technician Abraham is the best! He is dependable and very friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable and answers all our questions. We really appreciate the extra effort he puts into maintaining our pool. More people should follow his impeccable work ethics and helpfulness to others!

We have to rate them a zero because of lack of response. Its hard to think you have to beg someone to do business with them even after we told them that we were referred by a neighbor as they put in their pool. I started calling the office on June 8th and filling out the online contact request on their website but after numerous promises we would be called back and filling out the online request we never heard from them. We have decided two months is enough. Good for them they are busy but shame on them for not even having the courtesy of returning a phone call.

Been dealing with a spa leak for 2 years now. First repair didnt fix the problem and the spa is still leaking. Been trying to get someone here to repair or replaster since beginning of January and nothing has happened yet. Been very patient with them but this is getting ridiculous. So many cold days we had the last two months and not able to use the spa. Very frustrating. We also put down a deposit weeks ago.The spa has been repaired and it looks and works great. Thank You Dan.

We had our pool built by Holiday 3 years and used their pool services for 2 1/2 years. We thought we would try another company because it was cheaper but we soon found out you get what you pay for so back to Holiday we went. We cant say enough on how our pool looks and Abraham, our service technician, is amazing. He takes care of it like it was his own. He is extremely experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. During the time we used the other service, our pool was never balanced properly and Abraham bought the pool back to its luster. Thank you Abraham. You are the best!!!!

Very happy with Holiday Pools! Franco is my tech and like clockwork he is there, always with a big smile and most important he keeps the pool in excellent condition! When Im not there my Arlo camera confirms he really brushes down the pool, necessary for a new pebble tech surface! Owned a home in St. Pete 25+ years and the pool service was always a night mare! We have had a very good experience with Holiday Pools. Our pool technician, Alfredo, is always prompt and very attentive to details of the pool. He takes the time to make any and all adjustments required and is very pleasant and helpful when it comes to answering questions regarding our pool operation. The staff at Holiday Pools is always willing to help and assist when needed.

I live in Polo Run at Lakewood Ranch and Holiday Pool built my pool a year ago. The pool is beautiful and it was well used all year. I am very fortunate to have Bob (aka DJ) performing the weekly maintenance. He is always smiling, friendly and professional. He has kept the pool in great shape all year. We have had Holiday Pools servicing our pool for the last 3 years. I cannot say enough about Abraham, our weekly service technicial. He is punctual, friendly, most helpful with advice, and performs quality work for us each week. I am less positive on Holidays Service Department side. They are not punctual and have had to have them come out multiple times for same issue. The reason we stay with Holiday is the great service we get from Abraham.

Dan and PJ at Holiday Pools really came through for us. We were having major issues with calcium build up which made our pool look terrible. Once Dan came on board, he came up with a game plan and followed through every step of the way. It was no small undertaking as the pool had to be drained, acid washed and then monitored closely for a week. Dan was extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and patient. He responded to every e-mail, text and phone call. I highly recommend Holiday Pools because of Dan.

Holiday Pools has been so responsive to us when repairs were needed and completed the tasks with promptness, professionalism and quality. We have had Abraham service our pool for over a year and LOVE him! He always goes over and beyond to provide us exceptional service. He is always there to answer our questions, provide us guidance, and support us in any way needed. Our pool has been well taken care of and we appreciate the quality of Holiday Pools and Abraham.

The workmanship and the staff at Holiday Pools have exceeded our expectations. Holiday had our pool ready as designed and as promised. They even fast-tracked the acquisition and installation of our heater - all of this during the Christmas holiday season. A big thank you goes to Dan for handling our needs and answering all of our questions. Our regular pool person, Jessie, has done an amazing job - very courteous, friendly, and really knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend Holiday Pools to anyone that is considering them or has thought about installing a pool.

Update: it seems that there was a miss in communication between the company and me as the manager stated. Someone did come out at the end of their shift on the day that I called to diagnose the problem, since that was not communicated to me and I had tried unsuccessfully to get a hold of them the next day that prompted my initial poor review. I own a business as well and require customer phone calls to be returned with in 24 hours at the latest. While I have been a satisfied customer for 5 years I do believe they could do a better job of managing expectations. In the end my pool is working again and I would recommend them.

Pedro Cleans my pool religiously and if he’s running late he’ll call me. He does excellent work taking care of my pool weekly. I’m totally satisfied with his service and professionalism.

******an addendum to this complaint...as of 1/26/19 Holiday Pools did come in an make good on the repairs ...after many aggravating phone calls with our home builder Lennar and Holiday Pools, and promises that we will be there to fix it......i woke up to a crew of men repairing all of our complaints...i hope the repairs hold up long term, i suspect sinking pavers may always be a issue...but it shouldnt have happened on a new build, there was no oversight on this home as it was being built, no one inspected the broken pavers or if enough sand was being placed down, or if it was even level...these repair guys did a very nice job, something that you would expect to see from the beginning....just a foot note to those building with ****Lennar, if holiday pools is the pool builder...NO, they wont change the dimensions of the pool, NO the wont change the color, NO they wont take extra money to make these things happen....these were promises that were made to us to close the deal....we were very stupid and trusting and now we are stuck with an odd shaped, yucky color pool but now at least our pavers appear to be in much better shape than before...and we can walk out there and enjoy our view ...i wish i could leave zero stars, had a pool built while building with lennar home..so imagine the pool area now..6 months i still have broken, chipped and sinking tiles. They send out after i complain over and over these young men who apparently are the only members on staff to replace 10 pavers at a time...i need the entire lanai and pool area completely redone...i dont know where they found these pavers..the bottom of a poorly made cement field? left over? i will add images later on...i sent in numerous complaint through lennar but this is a holiday pool repair.. they refuse to fix..im thinkinging we need a lawyer, thats how bad this job is..shame on them...on the brightside, i was able to persuade three new neighbors to steer clear away from them and they are now using another pool company....but that still doesnt get my problem resolved...also while getting into contract with this nightmare company...i feel that they went out of their way to make this ridiculous shape pool..yeah i need to send picture...we even offered to pay more more to have to shaped so that it was more conducive for our needs...i love pools and swimming,....this is my 1st pool that i hate.....if i had the money i would hire another pool company to come in, implode it and design a desirable pool and area of relaxation..i hope that they lose their contract with lenner and all home builders...they work is shoddy at best...so I added photos...the images with the paver and the divets..imagine having 40 replaced and still having over 150 just like that...assorted holes, cracks, fissures and discoloration? I dont think that the crew they hired to do my home were even skilled laborers.. here toss some sand and throw these bricks on top...btw...notice that there is no sand between pavers...that not a coincidence..they put the sand in my pool...this is why my pavers are sinking...they didnt know where to put the sand.......of you are reading this and still move forward with this company, get your head examined...I can give you a list of 20 homeowners that will tell you run away fast...we should have.....we sure got whaT we deserved...we didnt need the warnings....if you want more pictures Id be happy to post more

We finally had everything finished on our pool. Holiday Pools really builds a beautiful pool. Tracey was very good at the design portion of our pool. Josh services our pool and WE LOVE HIM. Super nice and does a great job.We had some settling issues on our tile in lanai and that was addressed and fixed. Dan even left us extra tile in case we need it in future.

Holiday built our pool and it was completed Dec - 2019 They did an outstanding job and the pool is beautiful. I contracted with them for weekly maintenance and they also do an outstanding job with that.We had a slight hiccup to start out. After installing the equipment they installed a manual timer for operation when we had asked for a digital internet connected systemAfter notifying them of the issue I spoke with Dan who went and checked the contract. It wasn’t listed on the contract, Our sales person didn’t list it and we didn’t notice that it wasn’t there but we reached an agreement on the additional amount we would pay to have the desired system installed. Dan responded and in just a few minutes we had the issue resolved and we have an appointment set to replace with the desired digital internet system. Dan handled the mis-communication in a professional and courteous manner.

Holiday Pools installed our pool and has been servicing it since installation. The weekly maintenance keeps our pool beautiful. All of the weekly maintenance people have been great. Courteous, friendly, and with a smile. I would certainly recommend them.

My husband Tom and I moved from New Jersey 3 months ago and are loving our year round Holiday pool and spa. Any issues that occurred Dan and his team have resolved in a timely professional manner. Holiday Pools is maintaining our pool on a weekly basis and we highly recommend this company. I couldn’t imagine living in Florida without our Holiday pool.

I don’t live in Florida year round so I really have to rely on the team at Holiday Pools to help me when I have a problem. I had been losing water in my pool and Dan and his team continued to stay on top of the situation. Dan is professional, knowledgeable and responsive and also thorough in his approach and made me feel like he would be there until we had the situation thoroughly resolved. I have been working with Holiday Pools to finish my pool project. I have been waiting over 6 months to get the issue resolved and they have been very unprofessional with the level of follow up. They have delayed and delayed finishing my project to the point where I feel like I will have to take legal action to resolve. It is unfortunate that they have refused to acknowledge my family’s issue. You pay a lot of money to get a pool installed and the level of follow up after the sale has been awful. A lot of finger pointing and not my department finger pointing. (Typical run around) Anyone that ask me about my pool and who installed it hear my story and are encouraged to go in a different direction. Very disappointed and extremely frustrated about the entire experience dealing with Holiday pools. I would definitely tell you to take your business somewhere else. If I ever do it again I will definitely use another company. Buyer beware.

I LOVE our pool! Hoiday did a fantastic job!

Going on 4 months to get a pool installed and operational. Never seen anything like this. Very poor communication and responsiveness with this company. They dont give you any timetable on when things will be done or with next steps. I had to consistently beg and ask for a status on the completion of items. One day someone shows up does a little bit and then you dont see anyone for 2 weeks. I had swamp water sitting in the pool for at least 3 weeks and mosquitoes were all inside my enclosed lanai. I had damage to the walls of my house when the pavers were laid which I am still waiting on the repairs to be done. The yard has debris and rocks, pavers scattered still scattered about. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

Weve had our Holiday pool and spa for several months now. Josh is our pool technician and does an excellent job cleaning our pool and spa. We appreciate Joshs promptness, knowledge and dedication to his job and hope he will be our technician for a long time to come!!!

Taylor is outstanding! Create a unique design for our pool. She took the time to meet with us several times to answer all our questions, tweak the design and material options to our satisfaction. Were in the permit stage and cant wait for construction to begin. When you call Holiday Pools ask for Taylor, you wont be disappointed!
