Had a blast. Easy check in and departure. Would not recommend for first time boaters. No map/compass/GPS on board. Unreasonable late fees that are not disclosed at time of rental. Be aware.

Rented here 3 times now great people and service. I was treated with respect. The other nice thing about renting from them is there is no rental info on the sides of the boat so no one knows you rented the boat

Very accommodating staff and easy to book. All the pontoon boats were full in Sarasota but they found one for us in Siesta Key. Prices are also reasonable.We would definitely rent a boat from them again.

This place has great boats that are kept in like new condition. There is a wide variety of styles to chose from - both Tri-toons and Deck boats - that have either 115hp or 150hp. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is convenient to go south to Casey Key, Venice or North to SRQ! Highly recommend!!!

We rented a pontoon on 1/18 and that turned out great. Friendly people, reasonable prices and we got all the info we needed for fishing and dining on the water in Siesta key. Perfect experience and we will definitely go back.

We have used this boat rental place several times. Very friendly staff, great boats and awesome place to launch out of. Never had any problems. Would definitely recommend them!

Unfortunately I was going to give this boat rental place a 5 star review but the boats were very dirty/discussing. But on a good note Raul was great and very friendly.

Great service. Tanner was very helpful and nice. The staff provided us with a map and some local places to check out. One of the boats was missing the Bimini shade and Tanner worked out a fair deal with us. The boats were in good condition and everything that is promised was provided. We had a great time and Im glad the staff at Suntex was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Great experience.

We searched and read up on several rental companies and went with them, primarily because they were nearly half the price of competitors but also because the others seemed to suffer from irregular customer service.They were awesome. Clear, concise info and pricing. No hidden or surprise charges. They gave us great service and great pricing.Im definitely using them again when we come back and will recommend them without reservation to anyone.

06/01/2019This was our first time renting a boat, although we have a boat similar in size out of state. My wife, me and our 16-year-old son would be aboard the boat for a full day rental of 17 foot 115 hp open bow Bayliner, the rental started at 0900-1700 hours. We arrived a little late at 0905 hours or so and were immediately greeted with a smile and friendly approach. They had contacted us the day prior to confirm our rental. So the person behind the desk, Tanner, explained EVERYTHING to us concerning routes we may want to take, the safe passageways to operate the boat, places we may want to eat while out on the water, boater safety, rules of the waterway, places we may want to visit and what to do should anything unexpected occur while on the water. Tanner was a GREAT guy very friendly. We then signed about 10 sheets of paper for the rental, just a basic rental contract expected when renting out anything. Tanner went over maps and made sure we knew had his number should we need their assistance or happened to be running a little late coming in, very important you keep this information with you while on the water. We then grabbed a dock wheelbarrow, took all the stuff out of our vehicle and went to see Jack who was standing by the boat ready to assist us with our belongings and get us underway. The water was very calm and we had a great time, we spent about $45.00 on gasoline which you pay for when you get back. We will definitely be going back to see Tanner and Jack next time we visit Sarasota. The experience was top shelf and I could not have had a better experience. .. oh, the boat ran great too, zero issues... but they do not have an FM radio on them, so if you want to listen to music bring your bluetooh speaker... other than that you cannot find a better experience.

Great guys that work here.. helped us old ladies out and back in with ease.. even at O’Leary’s for lunch.. the men were so sweet. Made our excursion perfect😘😘

Our family has rented the 20 Pontoon Boat in the past and thoroughly enjoyed cruising Little Sarasota Bay for sightings of dolphins, manatees and occasional fishing. The Bayfront Excursions Marina is conveniently located next to our condo rental. The staff is very helpful and explain rules and use of rental equipment, stressing safety. A great way to explore and relax.

Recently my Wife and I rented a deckboat from Bayfront Excursions. We arrived to find the boat we rented wasnt ready, No problem!!! They kindly upgraded us to the next size at no extra charge. Either price was very reasonable. The staff was very helpful and courteous with showing us the operation and navigation of the boat and waterway. We highly recommend Bayfront Excursions. We spent the whole day tooling down to Venice and back up to Longboat Key. We saw lots of sea life, Dolphins, etc... Best day of our vacation!

My husband and I are visiting Siesta Key and went to Bayfront Excursions to inquire about renting a boat. Shane answered all our boating questions; lined us up with a half day boat rental; and also answered questions about the Siesta Key area. The prices at Bayfront Excursions seemed to be very fair and competitive; and their line of clothing in the Marina Store is good quality and reasonably priced.
