Jim is wonderful. We have gone to him for many years with an assortment of cars and referred him Friends and family to him. He’s honest and hard-working. His prices are very fair. He will tell you when he feels something is not worth investing in, or if you should go somewhere else for Best results. I’ve gone to him in a situation where we were told elsewhere he would need to spend a large amount of money, and he has fixed the car for so much less. Highly recommend Jim and his work.

Had plug wires and a new coil pack installed and although the labor price was fair the cost of the parts was greatly inflated. I was charged $140 for the same plug wires that are widely available for $44 and the coil pack was $204 which can be purchased for $164 oem. A $136 difference does not seem like a good way to treat a customer.Response to Owner:I have never written a review much less a bad one and have done so because I do not want other people to have a bad experience such as I did. The vehicle is an eleven year old Subaru Forester with over 150,000 miles, so no high end race car needing the most expensive parts made. I trust that any business touting honesty would provide proof of what parts were used if requested instead of just saying so, but this has not been the case. When looking up parts for this repair I chose as comparison ones that were equal to or exceeded the quality of original equipment. The truth is you either ordered parts that were way beyond what anyone would need or you inflated what they cost by almost 350% in the case of the plug wires.You are correct in that I should not have just trusted you and done more research prior to the repair. Lesson learned!I looked up the exact plug wires that Jim installed and they cost $31.78 and not the $140.64 plus labor the I was charged. If Jim disputes this I would like to see his invoice any time he would like. Facts matter to customers and not just blind trust where it clearly was not warranted.If Jim had a defense for his actions he would try and work out the problem with me, but he obviously would rather keep his ill gotten gains in the hope that another mark with out of State plates shows up at his door. Please dont make the same mistake that I did as I am sure that there are plenty of honest places to fix your car provided you check them out if possible.

Great service! Efficient and honest. I was visiting my 90 yo dad so that I could take him to several doctors apps. When I backed his car out,of the garage there was a puddle of fluid on the floor. Since I was visiting from NY to do this, I needed the car. Jim took the in that morning and the service was completed by 2pm that day! Thank you!!
