This is a wonderful music store! They sell new and used instruments and they’re all in beautiful shape. It’s a densely packed, fun place to explore and get yourself a great piano, guitar, even a wind instrument. Kurt, the owner, is a delightful man who made our purchase of a small piano super easy and fun.

I rented a piano from this company. The person running the store was at first the most un enthusiastic person I have ever seen. His answers were short, rude and without any customer service. He promised me the piano on a Friday between 3-4. I called early in the morning to confirm and was told If i said between 3 and 4 then it will be between 3 and 4. When I called at 4;45 he told me he didnt know where they were and hung up on me. When I called back, he yelled that I dont need to call him again. Great inventory but really nasty attitude. Needless to say I cancelled my order. One can only imagine how problems down the road may have been handled by this rude, nasty and angry man. I then received a call from Wayne to apologize for the actions of the other employee. But as I tried to speak, I was always interrupted and was not allowed to speak my part. They offered free months as an apology but kept cutting me off as I tried to comment about my treatment. Hard to do business with someone who keeps interrupting you and refusing to hear you.

After purchasing a ukulele from the store at least three years ago, they were kind enough and generous with their expertise to repair a broken pickup without charge. It was much appreciated, much more than expected.

While I sent my fiancé into your store to inquire about purchasing a piano ~ I heard back that the person in attendance, Wayne, was obnoxiously rude and condescending. I then was told by someone who knows Wayne, that he is rude and everyone knows it.My fiancé is one of the nicest people in the World ~ you LOST a customer, BIG TIME.

Youll find Knowledgeable, respectful employees and great selections at this music store. Highly recommended over all others in this county. The only thing I had an issue with was a new guitar I bought for my sister had warpage and the strings were old and snapped easily. Id also bought strings from here that were missing the E and D string. Im sure they will be responsible when I return later today.

It is very sad that a business that has been around for over 30 years can treat a person the way Wayne tread me today. Ive purchased several instruments from this shop and never had any problems. Today I was yelled and cursed at, and shockingly was pushed out the shop. All this because I wanted a return or exchange on a item I purchased 3 days ago.This may sound hard to believe, I am still in shock about this whole situation. Ive never allowed anybody to curse and humiliate me the way I was today. I dont know if Wayne has any mental issues and he had a break down, but I would like to warn any body going to this place to be very cautious. Specially if you are bring your kids. I would not want anybody to get hurt. Mental health is a very serious thing and I hope the owner of this place seeks help, because the behavior I saw today is not from someone who is mentally stable.

Went here to try to find a violin for my daughter for christmas. The owner was helpful and nice. SO MANY awesome instruments in there. And hes been there for over 30 years. Awesome store!

Kurt, the Owner Proprietor, was, as always, the consummate floorman and gave me my space, but stood at ready to answer questions. Didnt blink an eye when i chose the $240 Islander acoustic electric ukulele over $800 model. I just liked it better. Theres give in the man, but youre already getting internet prices (some even better!), and I TRUST him to know better than I To know what he can charge and still keep the lights on. Go there you will find it very satisfying. Peace

I stopped by Santa Rosa Music Center today and had a great experience. The sales person was polite and knowledgeable. I bought a item for a silent auction at my kids school and it was definitely good to bounce ideas off the staff about what might be best for the auction. We settled on a high-end portable keyboard because we thought that would have the widest appeal and could be used by either children or an adult. Thanks guys! See you next time.

I chose this establishment when it came time to decide where I was going to buy my guitar I had a good relationship with a former manager who sold it to me. I have been in and out of the store from time to time and purchased a few items here and there but honestly I was not happy with the phone conversation I had yesterday with whom ever picked up the phone.He was very cordial and businesslike of course which anyone but expect from a well-seasoned established neighborhood outlet. I have enquired about a couple of items I needed to complete a project he said that he can order them for me but when I added I believe I can get them on eBay as well he said okay thank you very much and rudely hung up on me.I dont believe thats just because I choose to get one or two items from a different resource that I should face such reprisal and for this reason alone I will not return to the store and it really is a shame when you walk in you get that old time flavor that was so calm and many years ago. It was just not professional behavior and now my trust is lost. Sorry I just left this message by way of microphone I think it may be hard of hearing completely Miss worded the whole thing

Very friendly and helpful employees. I love the piano selection for rentals, but for guitars Im not impressed. Wish they carried some different brands. Super nice people though.

Dont let the unassuming exterior fool you. If you need new instruments, music, or just strings, this should be your go-to place. Friendly knowledgeable folks with a passion for music run the show, and they are great at listening to find out what you need. They have a great selection of keys, strings, and percussion. I want one of everything!

Youll find a huge selection of instruments and an owner that will take the time to understand what you want and get you what you need. Great store, and great value.

This place was an amazing experience. My husband just came from Kenya and we have been on a hunt for his new guitar. Couldnt find the right one until we checked out this place. The people were warm, patient, and informative. Definitely going back!

I had excellent service. The two guys who moved my piano were so competent, friendly and helpful. They did a great job in moving my piano. I had a horrific experience with another moving company that did not know what they were doing....and I have a Steinway Piano. I couldnt have been more pleased with this company.

I am looking to buy or rent a grand piano but after several strange phone conversations, I give up and will take my business elsewhere!Very rude and unfriendly person who keeps changing his story. What a weird experience.

The owner is great. Down to earth, and a very reasonable guy. I wanted a certain tone out of my guitar, and he said if I didnt like the sound I could get new strings on him. As much as I hated to cut brand new strings off my guitar, and basically make them take a loss, I came in two weeks later and got new stings for free. Many places dont care enough about you to basically give you $15 worth of simsometh on yhem. Definitely going to buy anything I need from here.

Im going to be visiting Sonoma for a wine trip reunion with two old friends in October. I thought it would be fun to get a couple guitars while were in the area and jam like we used to, but didnt know who to call. I Googled guitar stores in Sonoma and this place came up. I figured it would be a long shot, but I called and they said they could rent us guitars for a few days. Problem solved.Thanks, guys! Rock on

This store is under terrible management! My family sold a beautiful piano to the store and the OWNER signed a receipt stating that he would pay us $1500. My mom took the receipt back to the store so she could pick up a check and not only was the salesperson incredibly rude to her but the owner refused to pay her the full amount. She could only get shake $1200 out of him. The owner is unprofessional, dishonest, and rude. This experience was the worst we have ever had to endure with any store and I hope this will serve as a warning to others to not trust this store. If I could give the store a negative score I would.

This store gave me the worst experience of my life for over a week. The two owners were very rude and delivered me purposely the wrong item then what I originally bought and was promised.They promised me a blue sky and sunshine but delivered a rainstorm.I am a classical trained concert pianist. I teach piano all over the bay area and I know the professors and school board of Sonoma University and the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco. Im a professional musician and take my bizz very serious.So I decided to tell you about my experience with them.By trying to stand up for my buyers right they treated me rude, ignored my needs as a customer and I wasted a lot of gas money.I was treated as an unwanted buyer in a second hand cars sale store. The owners did not listen to my needs as a buyer but followed their own calculated agenda. When I found out that they sold me the wrong item, I was so kind to bring the item back to them. They did not have the item that I originally was buying. They wanted to exchange it for a very bad replacement of a total different kind then that I was interested in at the first place.What a nightmare, disappointment and a bad example for my daughter who was looking forward to receive the promised item. For over a week I had very rude phone calls from the owners. The phone conversation where in an intimidation kind of style. Almost unreal! If you want to spend $2000 dollars for a harsh treatment, this is the place to go!I give the store a minus 10 stars.I saw many music stores that respect me as a buyer and a musician. But this store made me feel like I entered in a mental institute. Not worth my money ever again.Buyers be aware!

Worked for the guy his name is Wayne he is the owner... he is totally unreasonable and harsh. curses and belittles everybody including customers and especially employees.if i could go lower than a star i would. He originally made me put a a 5 star review on here to make him look good. i hated working here because of his attitude and my other boss coming in drunk all of the time so if you want to buy anything here you should reconsider all items are significantly overpriced... not to mention HE HAS CAMERAS SETUP WHERE HE CAN HEAR EVERYBODY AND SEE YOU FROM HIS PHONE WHEREVER HE IS LIVE FEED FROM INSIDE THE STORE....he did not warn me about this nor does he to customers and he says they dont record but cant trust him.. and other cameras setup around the store...He rips people off and takes advantage of the situation whenever he can. he is a bully,and is very inconsiderate of peoples feelings and i have never worked in a place that is so unprofessional and just plain sickening. it has taken me a lot of courage to say this and post this with my name on it. but i dont care and people need to know exactly how this place is run. after calling him and talking on the phone with him about my feelings he basically fired me and said he was going to fire me anyway then asked me to come back after he hung up the phone on me and texted me...but who wouldnt figure at that point he just wanted me to stay until after the holidays ended then he wouldnt need me any more just to let me go again since he knew i wasnt comfortable there. but i didnt take the bait and stayed away from that. it took a lot out of me working there and Im glad i am out..... merry christmas
