Hitmen has been servicing my home for almost 15 years. Their techs are wonderful! Jason currently services my home, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He knows the problem areas on my property and always does a very thorough inspection.If I had one wish, I would love to be notified the day prior to my service. We work in the yard often and don’t want to be in the middle of doing yard work when he arrives. Typically, I call the office to check on the schedule, but sometimes that changes (understandable).I have been very satisfied with Hitmen’s service!
I have mixed feelings about this company. I used to use them up until recently some things have changed. I believe maybe their company its going through a change of owners?Before it was easy to get them on the phone their techs were wonderful very informative, kind, prompt, and very thorough.But now its hard to get them on the phone. I called three times to try and set up a job with them I was told a manager would call me but I never got that call that was 3 weeks ago. Each time that I called in I had to speak with someone who was helping the company and not a live representative initially. It was a challenge because I really needed some help with one of our rental properties and they were unable to make a connection to help. Fortunately we were able to go another route but its definitely not the same company that we started with a few years ago.
FYI: when I phoned to schedule an inspection I asked how much does an inspection cost? She said is this for a new home buy? I said no. she said Oh ok I wasnt sure why you asked how much? There is no charge for inspections. I was surprised but its my first inspection so how did I know. When the inspector showed up she informed us that they only look at one area that you think might have termites and if we wanted a full inspection it would cost $450.00 dollars..so she only looked at one board. Waste of time.
I have been a client of The Hitmen for many years. All of the previous years I had great service. I could call one day with a pest request and have a technician out within 24 hours. I am under a quarterly contract. This year that all changed. Now they have a phone service handling their calls. I have not had service in 6 months. I had two phone messages that a technician was going to service my home. Neither time did they arrive. I have tried to reach them via phone many time. Waiting more than 30 minutes. Finally I talked to phone representative and she said she would ask office to call me. Did not happen. Very frustrated!!!
Additional info for my earlier review. The technician on the phone said that if the area that I wanted inspected was from termites then there would be wood dust from where they chew...#1 she never even got up on the roof close enough to inspect to see if there was any dust and #2 it just recently rained...She would have been unable to see from the ground! The entire reason I called to request quote was so I could shop around and free means free...not for this company. Now I have to find someone else who will take my concern seriously and find time to be there or find someone who can be there for the 2 hour appt window.
Dont bother. First appointment was a no-show. Then reschedule; spoke with manager who had a care-less attitude. Drove 1-1/2 hours to property for the reschedule appt to address brown recluse spider infestation. Technician showed up telling me there are no brown recluse in the area, though tenant had killed 26 of them. Showed technician several photos of the brown recluse spiders on the property. He did a very quick, little spray here and there. When asked why he was not spraying in infested areas of concern, he replied that was not normal areas they spray in. So unless you just want your door way entrance sprayed, dont bother. He asked if there was anything else before he had to get out of his truckagain to address any further concerns. Done in less than 15 minutes with 2 cabins in a wooded area. Needless to say I called and cancelled my bi-monthly service I signed up for.
Hitmen has been my go to for over twenty years. The techs are great. Service has changed. Calls now go to a call center that requires two pages of questions before the call center refers to the local office. At least that is what I was told. Several e-mails back and forth requesting a service for rodent traps. Technician would call. That was on June 8th. Today is June 16th and no technician has called. Email response said it has been escalated to management over 24 hours ago. Yet, nothing. Hitmen has always been great ...technicians etc., but getting through their call center and getting to someone in the office ... frustrating. Sad to see such an excellent company fall into a corporate abyss. Several months ago I would have rated with 5 stars, not today.Update: I did hear from a supervisor in another area the same day, the tech the next morning, and another office later the second day. Its a shame that it had to be this to prompt some attention. Thankful for their responses after such a frustrating time, I am opting to try another company. I was promised a follow-up e-mail that has yet to arrive. My confidence in the internal workings of Hitmen keeps me from accepting their offer.
2 weeks ago I left a message and so far, no call from this office. Can not reach the office and can only go through a central call place. Not good.
Came and quoted for wasp nest removal. When they came they couldnt actually come close to reaching and left without doing a thing
Have had their services for many years now, always very thorough and ready to return if you decide that they may have missed something. Very prodProfessional and clean cut....strongly recommend.

Dont know whats going on with this company lately. Hitmen stopped sending me notice of service date. Stopped sending me receipts. Called and requested receipt, nothing! Canceled my service.

Well we had ants in are pantry and in cereal storage containers, chips, four,sugar.Not a happy experience having the house treated Saturday and on Tuesday 3days later this happened.No rain, and paid $225.00 for this waste of money very sad.Cant wait for my 7 day follow appointment.
Chris Judd came over today to do an inspection and estimate. He was a really friendly and upbeat guy, he explained everything to me really well and was very professional. Cant wait to get rid of these dang moths!

Horrible customer service. The tech that came out said I needed dry wood treatment, I had to tell him I need subterannial treatment as well. He didnt even know what the report said. My husband and I got so frustrated we decided on paying again to get a different pest service to our home. When I said I wouldnt be using their treatment, I was basically hung up on. I think they are more dangerous than the termites. The worst!
Great service, had them spray a large area. And the rep was extremely friendly, and we knocked it out in record time.
James always does a great job; his level of professionalism and approachable personality while addressing the pests is very much appreciated in our work environment.
THEY ARE LESS THAN NEGATIVE 5 STARS BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT 1.DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. THEY CHARGE UPON CHARGE FOR SERVICE. THEY DID NOT EVEN RECHECK ALL THE INSPECTION POINT. ROBBERY. THEY WERE UNWILLING TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER GOOD WILL WHEN FEES WERE COMPLAINED ABOUT.

You have to pay attention and keep an eye on them because you will be charge more than necessary I was told one price and I trust them but I find out they will keep on charging me from my checking account until I went there and I told them to stop
I think its a crime when you keep charging someone, even though its still under warranty !!!!! Is this legal?
This company is actually : Western Exterminator. Dont let the buy out fool you. You are doing business with a conglomerate. But: The service person who came out (finally) was amazing (Earl). The issue is the disorganized call center. Corporate should look into fixing their call center issues. The remaining original service technicians (there are only a few left) are really great people. I Wish their customer service/call center was as good as the technicians.
Professional men they tented and took care of those bad termites. They came out on Wednesday set up the tent and then came out on Friday to remove tent. So far so good 👍
