I first have to say that I have put off going to a gym, I am shy and out of shape, I mean really. I bit the bullet and walked in last week and signed up. I had to face my fears and put my health and happiness above that. Let me tell you, it is different here, no pressure, kind and they listen. Great prices, 3 different monthly packages to choose from so you can pick what works best. This place is clean and organized and plenty of equipment. Sanitizer to wipe down the machines, bathrooms etc.I have never worked with a personal trainer before, I signed up with Malcolm and I am really happy that I did. Two sessions in and I feel supported and listened to. Learning the proper way to do the exercises and also nutrition help. I am looking forward to being a long time client. To wrap up this review, dont be afraid to go in and check it out. It will take me a while to not feel intimidated but it is not because of anyone there, it is in my own head. They are kind and no judgement!
Good price, good equipment and well maintained. Little bit of a cluster fk during peak hours is the only downside.
Honestly love this gym even though it does get pretty busy. They have squat racks, benches and extra bars. They have a good amount of dumbbells. I would like to see some new machines though! Great spot
Im so happy that crunch is reopen! Every time I go the staff is more than polite and always willing to help even with the silliest of questions. If youre going to spend money on a membership at a gym I highly recommend you do it with Crunch Fitness!
Very clean gym. Lots of equipment and the seem pretty new. I like the location of the gym as well.
Clean friendly gym, machines and work out equipment were all in great condition. For as many people that were there today, everyone had their own space. Locker room was nice and clean, and pretty big.
I love this place, theres not too many people whenever I go and they have great services for the low.
My cousin introduced me here and brought me as a guest. Wow, wow, wow. Only $10 a month memberships. The equipment is clean and easy to use. We liked the Circuit machines. Many classes are a nice efficient 30 minutes. Tried the water massage beds. Parking is free and easy. Great new business to take over the beloved Beverly’s craft store. Happy working out!
User friendly, super clean, great amenities, like the massage chairs, classes and tanning beds
Im very happy with this gym the only thing that I wish they would change is the hours and close later
Affordable and great ambience and non judgemental work out environment.
I froze my account because I wasnt sure if I wanted to continue going to Crunch after their lengthy closure. Originally I was going to cancel my membership but an employee said to freeze it for 3 months. Then a week later they started billing me for my monthly dues. I called the company doing the billing for Crunch and got nothing but the runaround from a woman who didnt speak English. I will never do business with them again. When they shutdown last year I had paid for a month and didnt get 30 days of use.
They wont let me cancel my membership. Worst customer service ever. They sent an email saying they were going to start charging again, and stated to call the number listed in the email or send an email to customer service to change or cancel your membership. I called and was told I had to email. I emailed and they said I couldnt cancel. Dont waste your time with this gym.
Very bad service the staff is not friendly at all.
Clean and front desk staff great
Awesome, great gym.
Its a great place to exercise. I dont feel judged and theres a variety of machines to workout from.
Clean gym, nice staff and affordable. 💪🏽
This gym is very nice. While there I noticed a variety of people, some very athletic who obviously spend a lot of time on their body. There were some elderly people as well.Everyone took turns on the machines. From where I was, everyone was very good about cleaning after using the machine.Staff were friendly enough. All they did was check me in. There was one trainer I saw who was working with a lady pushing a walker.
I need to get this back on.
It is super clean, and I hadnt gone in a year. So coming back was very pleasant. Thanks crunch.
Close to home, good variety of cardio machines. Variety of classes for those interested. Tanning machines are small but available. Never use the massage chairs but theres only three. Timing is everything when it comes to working out at this club. And the best advice I have to give is wipe off the machine before you use it. Ive been going there since the day this club is opened and people are very negligent about cleaning a machine off when they leave after a workout and thats just human error not the clubs. Better safe than sorry. They also have availability of protein drinks as well as bottled water and electrolyte refueling drinks. Small variety of fuel bars in case you forgot to eat. Management always willing to listen and take action if needed. My only recommendation for the club is they try to keep the club a little cleaner after client use and not do it while people are working out on machines.
Hidden charges. Literally other people calling asking about the 40 dollar fee that isn’t explained when signing up. Pretty sure the workers have mono as well. The only exercise your getting here is running from them. STAY CAUTIOUS.
I like going here for my workouts. My personal goal is to bulk up and this gym has been a great experience these past 2 months. Looking forward to continuing my visits to Crunch. Also, the staff are friendly! 👍
It’s a good gym with a variety of nice new machines. There are plenty of machines and free weights to be able to get a good work out in. They even offer classes like Zumba or other activities. The bathrooms are always clean too. The only negative thing about this place is that it’s always busy and sometimes you can’t do certain exercises or use certain machines like the bench Press because there are a lot of people. Overall it’s good affordable gym.
Awesome people
You cannot beat the price! Love the newness of the place and the equipment. Crowded at peak hours and not a fan that treadmills are very close together. Shower design is odd that they offer not a single shelf nor a hook for your towel. There is no designated space to place your shampoo and soap. Showers are nice and clean in the early morning but by evening look like they havent been cleaned all day. You certainly would not want to place your shampoo and soap on the shower floor.
Crunches is fun, modern & very friendly. Their classes are great to take. Only one thing I hope for is that theyll have them more often. Where in afternoons & late morning they put classes in but biggest is there isnt any if you work till 6pm then classes are like done when you come in. But Crunches is great!
False advertising 10.95 is a lie you have to pay 51.95 to start and 12.95 monthly. For to advertise 10.95 to start is a lie... Ill find a real gym thats honest to their customers.
I walk about .3 mile to my Crunch. Get in, do my arms, thighs, gut and back. Shower area needs a few details, but overall, I LOVE this Crunch!Wish they had MSNBC. At least they dont spew a steady diet of Fox News.
The personal trainers are well educated and cater the workouts to your needs and lifestyle. The machines are all new and work great. The staff is welcoming and ready to help with any questions. Only downside is the hours and no pool.
Ive never written a review in my life but I literally told the nice lady at the front desk that I would because she was super friendly and generous. I called about 30 minutes before I went in and ask about a special cheap initiation fee I had heard about from a friend. The lady on the phone was nice and helpful and said yes the promotion was happening, and today was the last day! So I met a friend at the gym and tried to get the cheap initiation fee and a month membership. Unfortunately the lady at the counter told me that the promotion had expired and that it was $30 to join. Then, we chatted a bit and she let me explain my situation and she gave me the promotion! $4 to join plus the $10 membership! Thanks much crunch team, and if I could remember your name......thank you kind person who helped me out :)
Great new place for all ages. Many classes and personal help available. I love the Hydro Massage after. 😊
Great smaller gym, generally great music, staff are all friendly and awesome, machines are well maintained and lots of free weights
Lots of space, toys, and cardio. Only one cable fly....so get ready to fight for it.
The price for what CRUNCH offers its members cant be beat. During peak hours it is very busy but that can be said for any gym. During peak all cardio equipment will be used but a short 5 minute wait and a machine will become available. Premium members get to bring a friend with them, unlimited tanning, and water massage chair. Dislike: no towels are provided.
This place is so tiny and overly crowded that I couldn’t even get floor space to stretch! Unless you come at odd hours when nobody else is there, you will be wasting up to $32/mo because you won’t be able to use any equipment to even get a workout. I’m told there’s usually not a wait for tanning but considering the status of the rest of gym, I wouldn’t hold my breath. I give 2 stars instead of 1 only because the staff was friendly and given the crowds, facilities were kept fairly clean.
Excelent place to get in a good workout. It is heavily crowded because of the competitive pricing but you cant beat $11 per month. The only catch is that they charge you $35 for the first month, then $11 from there.
Just joined..price is great..tons of machines..all levels..walking on a treadmill to benching and squatting with BIG GUYS to throwing ropes.. dance classs, tanning and hydro massage. I love it.
Cant beat the price of this gym. My only complain is their lack of cable machines. They have a great turf section for doing HIIT workouts or sled push/pull or tire flips. By far the best configuration of power racks, each with their own platform and mirror. Some of their mirrors by the dumbbells look kinda wavey like they were set on an unsmooth surface. Overall though its a great gym. The only issue is of course with it being a great gym and for a cheap price its very very crowded. Which is not their fault, I avoid going at 5pm at all costs. If you can workout in the off hours its a great spot.
Small and compact. Lots of cardio equipment and weights. Employees are nice. Can be expensive if u want all amenities.
U cant beat the price good gym...
I love this ❤️ fitness
Hours are limited, but gym is kept clean and equipment is new. Membership pricing cant be beat.
Pricing definitely can’t be beat, but it’s too small and always crowded.
Great pricing and lots to do..
Great gym, great prices, friendly staff.
Lots of equipment and a really reasonable monthly rate 😊
I love comming here everyone is helpful and i love all the classes
Too small for the amount of members, can not get on the equipment unless you go at odd hours.
Although I like this gym and our family loves the weight equipment, the M/W/F evening Zumba classes can be a disappointment. When the club first opened they had some of the best Zumba instructors in town on M/W/F evenings.Since that time, one awesome M/F instructor has retired from doing Zumba and the other top Wed instructors have left the gym. After the first turnover of skilled Zumba instructors, the gym hired two exceptional seasoned replacement Zumba instructors, and the M/W classes became packed again, only to lose the exceptional instructors in a matter of weeks. Once this happens (and it happens regularly), the M-W classes return to being lead by new-to-Zumba instructors. Friday evening can still be a good class, depending on the instructor. The problem with the new-to-Zumba M-W evening instructors is that they tend to have very little dance training (especially Latin dance training) and have an incredibly small set of dance moves. Only one part of your body gets most of the dance workout with little-to-none arm movements that usually accompany dancing. The step repetition begins to hurt either your knees, calves, or hips, depending on what steps are being repeated over and over.Because of the basic step repetition, members leave class about halfway through. Students are bored of the same steps over and over in each routine and lack of heart-pumping music. Also, the new-to-Zumba instructors lack the high level of workout intensity that the seasoned (exceptional) instructors 1st employed had, so you end up waiting for the pace to challenge you and a higher ferocity of music, which doesnt happen. The lack of proper pacing is another reason people leave class early. The class size also begins to dwindle week-after-week under the new-to-Zumba instructors. The Saturday morning Zumba instructor is good. Its a 10:00 time-slot, so her class is usually light. Shed be great addition to one of the M/W evening Zumba time-slots. Shes lovely, and her class can be fun. I have yet to try the Tues/Thurs evening Zumba classes to see if they are better than the M/W. I like doing Zumba every other day. Ill update this review when I do.Another issue people have with this club is having to physically go into the gym to change their membership. You cant do it over the phone or online. For some reason this particular Crunch gym is owned differently. Even though it is listed with the National Crunch website, you cannot use your portal to make payments, adjust your membership, etc. Its rather odd. Good luck finding out who owns the gym if you have a problem. Im not sure Ive ever seen a manager. The gym is clean, and we enjoy the staff. The members are nice and the weight room courteous.Try a free pass & check it out!
Good exercise equipment and other equipment, but the water pressure for showering was bad and dropped every time a toilet flushed.
Just join the place is fabulous all are welcome
Very clean. Excellent staff!
Cheap and super crowded. Whadya want for 10 bucks a month?
Is a nice place to exercise.
Good deal for the money
Crunch has everything you need to work out or exercise just dont go during Peak hours. The Price is Right.
A step up from the other gyms. Just not a 24/7gym.
Best. Gym. Ever.
Walking Redbulls,homeless depot,and smelly bathroom.
Great equipment and prices
Massage chairs are awesome
Just need to get there more!
Easy parking
Great environment
Very clean place like that.
Great location
It is just missing a pool
Fitness💪
Is it open today???
No flex zone
I like it
Great
Why do they want to charge a $50 annual fee on top regular monthly fees? Greed? I hate extra fees. Just build it into the monthly fee.
Very good 👍
This place is very good.
Very cheap and good place with many machines to do exercises. It has massage beds and many varieties of cativities to make it more fun. Highly recommended this place.
I gave him three stars because they need more bilingual staff. I went three times before opting for three days and the reception people never got back to the Spanish speaking boys schedule. During my stay in the gym with the three day pass I saw that it is equipped, however, the machines in the striations area are not cleaned and I think the workers need to check that. Also, check that there is no chovism in this gym.
They dont have much variety of things to do, they only have machines and tanning rooms, but its cheap 🤷🏻♀️
Cheap and new and many machines
Love it
