Overpriced junk for people who dont know anything about technology.Just buy yourself a Google Pixel phone and save $800+ instead of buying into the trend.Unless youre a teenager who absolutely HAS to be popular, I dont recommend you buy any apple products.
Have to say this was my worst customer service experience at an apple store. I was there to buy a phone and my perception was that they did not want to be there and it was a chore to sell me a phone.
Terrible!!! Bought new / old I phone 6 from Page who told me it was new phone but old model. Paid 326.66, took home had NO phone. Called Ryan Manager - did NOTHING. Spent 3 hours with WONDERFUL tech in TN -Eric who got phone to work after many updates. Tech and I called manager Ryan together to report.... Ryan did NOTHING !!! DONT GO THERE!!!!!
I came to this store to buy a cell phone and they say that I have to make an appointment to buy a cell phone so what is the use of having many employees if they can not do a simple task of going for a cell phone and say here it is easy to pay two steps
If I could give them zero stars I would. We were about 15 minutes early for our appointment but there were five apple employees standing around, fiddling with wires, or talking amongst themselves. We were asked to come back. Terrible customer service.
Not too helpful. I actually did most of the work repairing my iPhone myself. Had I listened to the associate I would have had to come all the way back to Sonoma and back again to the store~~using more gas ⛽and ⏳and inconvenience when all I had to do was something he said wouldnt work but it DID!!! Terrible sales person all the way around!!! Those people who follow my reviews know I do not write negative reviews. This is the 2nd negative review I have ever written. So...go if you have to but avoid like the plague!
Amazing orange Julius, people should try the pomegranate berry blast
The store and employees are fine. It’s the company itself I don’t like. How are you going to make me pay almost $80 more than I actually paid for my watch just to fix the screen. I honestly regret buying your products smh
Great place to go shopping for your kids and family
Good knowledgable staff and quick to assist customers
I went to buy the macbook pro 15in. The guy who served me was quite knowledgeable and gave me valuable advice, distinguishing between why the one I bought was the better buy over the similar cheaper one (RAM difference). That experience was awesome. Until I went home and decided I need the magic mouse, went online and bought one for pick up from the same store. Said it would be ready in 3 days. Fine. Went on said day only to be told their system wasnt updated and so they couldnt release my purchase. But heres my receipt, give me my mouse. And heres what I hate about the store, Im the customer, for me, the staff whether in the store, at some call centre somewhere or in Corporate all work for Apple and anyone of them should be able to help me. Im right there in the store, so the store staff should help me, right? Wrong! They give me a number to call and sort myself out...like really??!! So I do that, but the people on the phone cant seem to fix the online purchase so that the store people can release merchandise. So frustrating... I ended up cancelling that order on the call, and bought the mouse directly from the store....had I known I would have done that in the first place, and save myself precious time and effort. I really hope this was a one-off because Apple stores usually have a good rep.
Employees at this location use unethical sales practices to tell you that an item (like the airpods) come “free” with a purchase of a MacBook Pro. According to their wording, the airpods get discounted from the price of the laptop, but this is NOT true. I got the charged full price for the laptop and the airpods that I honestly did not want. These sales practices really make me not want to do business with them. I will call to make a report on this for it to be corrected since it should be free. If not, I will be suing the company for unethical sales practices. They do not go over the disclosures with you, they send it to you by email, but tell you to sign before going over them with you. Be cautious shopping here!
Most the times they have what I need. I dont much like the kids riding bikes and skateboards in there. And security is either 60 + years are 200 lbs over weight.
Extremely poor customer service! Worst apple store I’ve ever been to. I read their bad reviews but didn’t really believe they can be that bad but experienced it personally at 3 different instances. They’re just there to get a pay check and go home, absolutely no concept of customer service ever learned. Bad attitude all the way up to the manager of the store, unfriendly vibes and not helpful staff. The Genius Bar has limited to no knowledge of what they’re doing or saying to customers. Way to make a simple task extremely complex and inaccessible to the customers. It’d probably be better if this store didn’t even exist at this location or probably need to change the entire staff and train the new staff extensively for the basics of any business first. It’s a shame that this store is still there despite of all the bad reviews from the customers.
Apple is great. You might have to wait a bit but it’s worth it, I absolutely love apple products. The products at apple may be a bit expensive but in the end you’ll be glad you bought. Something. I love going into the apple store and just looking around, and it’s even better if I get to walk out with something. Not often I get apple products but that’s fine.
Helpful staff, but a little crowded
Great customer service
Very clean, organized and the staff are all very kind, patient and helpful. Even without an appointment, they handled everything well and it took almost no time at all to be seen (on a weekday).
Last week I decided to get the new iPad pro with magic keyboard..day #1. I was told they didn’t have the memory size I wanted and was manipulated into buying the smaller size then rushed out of the store when I wanted to purchase many other items..day#2 this time I go back return the smaller iPad pro for the largest size and gig I wanted..I told the worker I wanted the magic keyboard and also wanted information on getting the cinema robot which the employee assisting me had no idea what it even was proceeded to talk me into buying something similar and much cheaper they had called the osmos mobile 3 which isn’t even compatible with my iPhone 11 Pro Max (too heavy) i then come to find out once home that I had yet again the wrong product and not the magic keyboard..the best part is my boyfriend wanted a really good drone to doSurveillance on our property and the Apple employee knew nothing about that product as well yet told my boyfriend the cheapest drone would be sufficient for 30 acres, my boyfriend ended up buying a basic drone that can barley leave our driveway when he was willing to spend up to 1000$ !! we are talking close to 3000$ and yet the employees are so incompetent. I’m so upset and blown away that someone with zero knowledge on there products can work at Apple.
Management is shortsighted and immature.
Good service!
Until the COVID procedures are lifted, there are much more efficient options for seeing and evaluating products. After waiting in a line outside the nearly empty store (where 5 employees were standing unoccupied near the front of the store), providing my name and email address, my reason for my visit, having my temperature checked, I was then sent to another line.I was then approached by another employee, asked for my name and reason for visit again, and then finally allowed access to the store. But not the products!I then had to answer multiple additional questions about why I was there and what I wanted to look at. Then I was repositioned again. After further questioning I was still not provided with a product to evaluate. So I just left. I walked into Costco 10 minutes later and had the products in hand.
Wonderful customer service
Nice small local mall
I never get disappointed when i go here they address the problems right away. Very helpful and accommodating agents. I recommend JULIE. Very kind and warm customer service.
It is like every other Apple store.
Horrible experience, was sworn at and threatened by staff after I tried to point out that leaving their store curbside pickup randomly in the middle of the day because of the smoke in the air and not telling any of the customers scheduled for pickup later that day was not only bad customer service but just rude and nasty to people who take time to come out on time for their appointments. The entitlement and rudeness of these people claiming it was an emergency situation while thousands of other people, doctors, nurses, construction workers, and firefighters continue to work in much worse and truly dangerous conditions was mind boggling. Never had a worse experience in a store and has put me completely of apple. If I could give zero i would. Truly felt threatened and insulted by the swearing, dismissive attitude, and holier-than-thou approach. Not just bad customer service but a terrible way to treat other humans.
I went online to get help from a technician and was asked to just do a walk in. When the apple technician called the Apple Store in Santa Rosa she told me they were okay with me coming in asap! I rushed over there and once I got there there was no service given. The manager was standing there doing nothing. I am without a phone that cant even be used on wifi. If there is a car accident or anything like that Apple would be held responsible for any injuries and lack of being able to get help from first responders. There was a lady with light highlights who did not help whatsoever she was lazy and could not even let me come in to get a test done. QUALITY OVER QUANITY IS NOT THERE MOTTO!!!!!! FYI - The apple technician made my phone even worse and did not even offer to fix it.
Not fair to share. Not an Apple person. Allergic to pectin 😂
Apple is not the company it used to be. Ive been a fan since the mid-90s and have used Apple for my company since 1999. Their products have gone downhill since Jobs, but what Im reviewing about today is their trade-in program. Beware on this one. They gave me an estimated value of $760 and then deemed it worth only $260 once they got it. Im not buying the reason they gave.
Nice clean place. Need to reserve a spot for genius bar repairs otherwise youre not going to get anything done. But its not bad.
I was actually told at this store that the Apple phone support over-sell (do not tell the truth about) the Genius Bar abilities, and that I had to document my problems with my Apple TV 4k device before coming in. Terrible customer service from inexperienced experts who trash talk other employees. I do like Apple products, but I found their support at this store sucks.
Told sales gal I needed a wraparound case / keyboard for the I -pad air. She pulled it off the shelf, I looked at it, paid, and drove back to Healdsburg. It was for the latest model; didnt fit !! Very disappointed the girl didnt ask which one my wife has.
Limited selections in stores.
Bathroom was cleaned, didnt go to apple.
Omg have you seen the mac book website page! its amazing! they put a lot of pride into it. Im a huge apple fan however own no apple products. Im in school for business and been researching a lot of companies for a project. apple gave me that wow! eye catching awsomness.
We call Apple customer care and they referred me to this store to fix my IPhone, Before sending me over, the customer service rep call the store many times to try to schedule an appointment for me but there was never an answer from them. Per the store manager they received thousand of calls everyday and respond to all calls on a timely manner! Oh my! Once the customer Service rep. couldnt get in touch with the store, she created a claim, but was unable to process it due to the condition of the IPhone. She suggested for me to go to the store to get my IPhone fix and stated that the process would be quicker as she had create the claim already. The staff at the door and the store manager wouldnt even allow me to enter the store to explain the situation and I was asked to leave with the excuse that they didnt have the system necessary to wipe the IPhone, complete the claim and get my IPhone fix! Really!!! This is pathetic and worse customer service ever.
OkayI can’t blame the hard workers but seriously Apple is not a good place to shop if you want selection Amazon has a way better and nicer selection of phone cases. What am I missing I never seen anyone walking around with a white or yucky brown case but those are the options at Apple. What happened to selections
Awesome staff and quick service! I was returning a phone and the staff were so fun and helpful. Love the seasonal red shirts!!!
After 10+ year as an apple freak, starting with a g3 desktop Ive hit he end of road with what once a top notch company. QUALITY AND SUPPORT OF THIS BLOODSUCKING CORP IS AT ALL TIME LOW. my brand new i7 (just 17 days old) home button, the only uncovered piece(by any phone case ever made) broke after falling less than a foot onto a tupperware lid. mind you i have a plexiglass cover and military rated drop case, no joke! and of course the self proclaimed geniuss at the bar are unwilling as was corporate to help me out with a warrantied repair. not sure how a 700$ product can be as fragile as a champagne flute. long story short Im willing to pay my insurance cost, sell it at a loss and buy an android or samsung 8 just to not vote for these jerks with my dollar! as well i will never spend another cent on iTunes, apple or any affiliated product. YES i did drop it to be fair but if that is the quality i get for my money and flat out zero support. that apple has fallen far from this tree!!!just fyi this is my phone and my 5 year old 4s that Im obviously very hard on!!!
Totally locked me out of my own brand new iPhone 11 pro
What a great shop they were a lot of help and they got my phone checked out and updated, it is working great now thanks.Michelle PerryColdwell BankerLakefront Homes
Nice enough place, but there is a lot less options now. many shops have closed. But there are still a lot of good ones worth checking out.
It’s an Apple Store. Helpful staff, wide range of Apple products and accessories. Large store in Santa Rosa Mall. They will validate your parking. It is recommended that you make a prior appointment if you are having one of your Apple products serviced. It can take awhile without one.
The service at this particular mac store is unparalleled to any other. On several occasions I have made last minute Genius bar reservations and gotten in within the hour on busy weekends. Im not saying it happens every time, but I am always amazed at how many employees they have working at one time. There are usually always 30 customers in the store with an average of 15 employees working and taking care of peoples needs.I will always go back to this store if and when Im ever in Santa Rosa.
To start off Im not a huge fan of apple so I may be a little bias but I also know some staff personally so its both ways. Just about every time I go there its supper crowed. Though every thing is quite neat. The staff tend to help you relatively quickly especially considering the fact that its usually crowded. You can touch and try every which is awesome and it does seem some what futuristic, if you need and apple product or want to look at new tech in the mall this is the place
Very rude and unhelpful on the phone.
⏩ fast
Justin was totally awesome. I made a Genius Bar appointment and he took care of me professionally and answered all my questions. Really nice guy who also plays games. Also fun to talk to. 😁
Don’t waste your valuable time calling. They NEVER answer the phone
Elijah is incredible. He helped me restart my I Pad air in an efficient, patient, and friendly manner. I am not computer literate and he made me feel like I was as he guided me through every step. He is a keeper for the Santa Rosa apple store. Thank You Elijah.
Gets busy, make a appointment or come on a weekday if you want help fast. Come on a weekend if you just want to browse aimlessly.
Bella jimenez was incredibly helpful in helping me upgrade my phone!
Only walked past. Its a mall.
They open they have heavy security and seem to be doing good on sanitation
Terrible service, when I read the other reviews it doesnt surprise me. Employee was rude and directed me to look something up on my own... People dont come into the store to have you tell them to go look something up yourself online.
Waited 30 minutes after I had made a reservation. I was told over the phone a new battery was $49 dollars but when I ask at the store they would not sell one to me. They said it was policy. Apple sucks. Going to samsung. You
Not sure what to say beyond frustration in dealing with a very poorly educated staff. Both my boyfriend and myself have had multiple experiences with employees who are incompetent and know very little about the Apple products. This lack of familiarity with how their products work causes huge delays in accomplishing the goals of the tasks set when going there. I would recommend being prepared to spend at least twice as long as you have planned for any time you go there and then knowing you will need to call customer support or interface with them online about the same issue after you get home. Update: December, still hadnt updated business account after 45 days.
Beautiful amd accessible
Love it 😍
I’ve had three bad experiences in three visits. One visit was to repair a factory error in my new phone I had AppleCare +. They turned off my find my Find my iPhone and didn’t turn it back on, then I miss placed my phone and couldn’t find it ....worse: the insurance did not come through because the app has to be on in order to get your insurance claim. What a nightmare. I am not going to be a future Apple devotee like I have been the last 20 years. They are slipping. phone support and in-store support really was lacking. There is no reason to pay this premium anymore.....
I had the worst experience yesterday. I went 3x to the apple store. They took in my phone for repair than said they couldn’t repair it and I had to purchase a new phone. I brought in a phone that was given to me and then was told in order to reset the phone I need the iCloud info from the person who previously owned it I left to go get and came back since the rep said he can help me once I get that. I come back with in 15 min and am told they aren’t taking anymore appointments when I was initially told I would be helped once I got the iCloud log in info. I paid for parking 3x and none of there was at least 7 reps just standing around. Will not be back!
In 7 years I had never had an issue with my MacBook pro until it stopped downloading my pictures off my phone. Im not too tech savvy so I tried to call apple support (big mistake). Long story short, the guy from apple support was useless and I had to bring my computer into an apple store. AMANDA WAS THE BEST!!! She was so kind and patient with me and all my elementary questions. When I came in I was sure Id have to buy either a new computer or something to fix the problem I had. I spend ZERO and left there with what feels like a brand new computer with more than half my memory free/available (which was not the case when I walked in). Thank you so much Amanda, you completely made my day!
It was there but really just a waste of time. Lubby needed a problem fixed and they didnt fix it. Plane and simple apple is a RIP off.
Huge, huge line. No wonder the had to add two security officers. Take a bite, out of Apple?
Glad they stayed open for Christmas!
The devices are amazing😁😁😁🎉🎉🎉
Nice people but did not give good or correct advice
Good atmosphere, and its easy to feel how the devices are as they arent bolted down or anything.
Good security
Nice
Service could be better. very nice presebtation of the products.
Switched to Android after my last visit here. Dreadful staff, self serving and full of themselves. Very Steve. Goodbye iOS. Goodbye Apple. Good riddance. Tech deserves better than this smarm.
Worst service I have ever received from an Apple store. I’ve never been treated so rude by the employee and the manager at an Apple store ever in my life. They should be ashamed of themselves for their smug entitled attitudes. Absolutely no understanding help and only wasted my time. A bunch of rude little hipsters that need to be fired including their manager! Aaron is the worst!
Very rude staff and pretty mindless as well, they were complete morons! They were being quite rude so I got flustered and they continued to get rude. I would suggest to skip the wait and just call support!
This experience happened Tuesday 9/27.My phone locked up in a searching mode which made it unusable.A representative named Trevor saved all my info, reloaded software and restored my service very fast.He is awesome. Very polite and gives you the confidence that he will fix or replace your phone.I was very happy with my service at Santa RosaRich Wright
Cant even make an appt. to get my phone fixed. They need to send you a text; phone isnt working. How am I to do that. They are clueless.
Ive been a loyal Apple Customer since 2012 and have generally received great service through the company and other stores.I am not sure if this is a systemic issue or just this store but buckle in: we are going on a bumpy ride.I had an Iphone7 that was insured through a company called Asurion through Sprint.I wont be going back to these companies but thats a review for another day.Anyway, I received a new device through the insurance provided by asurion and was having complications with setup. They sent me to Apple through on phone to fix the problem because they couldnt solve it on their end. Apple support was great online and sent me a new phone which had the same problem (for a no Service Issue).I brought it into the sprint store-they told me to go to Apple Santa Rosa. The genius representative immediately told me it was a sprint issue after waiting an hour for my genius appointment.I go to sprint and the manager tells me its an apple problem.I go back to apple and tell the rep what the sprint manager told me and he said they were full of it (even though this replacement Iphone came straight from Apple). I asked for the manager-he became rather defensive and slightly aggressive in my eyes stating that he trusts whatever his genius employee says is true and that it must then be a Sprint issue.I go back to Sprint and the manager basically tells me Im out of luck and to contact the insurance company (which sprint is in service with).I contact them and realize that Apple had been sending this company refurbished A1660 models...which if you didnt know have been recalled by apple for a No service issue -the same problem I had been having.Asurion finally solved this problem for me but it cost me tons of hours and a bottle of tylenol from the headache.Flash forward: I had an Iphone 6 that I bought in Cancun because the original Iphone 7 I had had stopped working and I need a phone on my trip. This is the same iphone 7 that caused all of this madness. The iphone 6 that I brought in was brand new, I still had the box. The phone completely stopped turning on and it appeared the logic board was broken (a common problem with Iphone 6s).The representative at the Apple Santa Rosa store tells me she cant service me because this phone was purchased in Mexico.I called apple customer service and they immediately provided me with a new phone in the mail.If you do choose this store I hope you have a better experience than me...As for me, I will be switching to android and dropping Sprint and Apple completely.
Haha They told me you buy one hat or two hats and you get one free of course they take the cheapest hack and then they soda emblem on for me and you can hardly see it Im not very happy for what they charge me oh yeah
Great products
I used Genius Bar, they provided the excellent experiences.
I never go in there.
Glad for reopening
I set a time to come to the site to solve a problem that they did not succeed the day before, when I arrive at the place at the scheduled time said that there was nothing scheduled for me. I rescheduled and waited over 1 hour to be answered. very bad feeling
AWFUL, they do not really care about the customers. They will let you walk out instead if trying to figure out what the problem is. They will also look at you like who cares there is another customer that will buy from us we do not need your business.
I went to the Apple store for my first time in Santa Rosa today, I was very excited until I asked a question of an employee who couldnt care to even look at me, nor did he try to explain the functions of a drone I was interested in. F*uc this place.
Customer service getting worse in this store! They dont have the patience or they really dislike their jobs. That is not good for APPLE products. And I have to add that I have been very satisfied in the past and still there are some caring geniuses and business care people in that store. If you do not get them forget about the service.
Busy like always and the employees are getting frustrated I see people walking In and felling lost no one to help them or guide them. I was told to wait 20 mins it’s been about 40.
If you just want to buy an Apple product that they have in stock, its fine. But if you want to get into real customer service, I find the store very lacking. Ive lost track of the amount of times Ive been told I can only do this or that through their website, and wasted my time making a trip to the store.
Staffer said this was the smallest Retail in the chain; and it showed! 4-to-1 ratio of people to staff; luckily the front guy was able to exchange my item and quickly transact from the get-go. nice to see an Apple store out in the sticks (meant that in the nicest way possible)
#1, make an appointment. I cant tell you how much time and trouble this will save you. #2, and this is just as important as #1, DONT BE LATE. #3, Be considerate of the person helping you with the problem youre there to correct. Customer service can be Hell on Earth with the wrong people. You may see one tech, they will see many other people. My iPad was new in 2014. The problem was operator error. Go figure.
Saw that you guys purposely slow down iPhones won’t be buying anymore or recommending to anyone. Scam
I took my Mac Book Pro to the Genius bar in Santa Rosa Plaza for diagnosis, I was kept waiting half an hour, after I inquired as to what was happening a guy showed up and when I started explaining the problem he told me to be quick as he only had 15 minutes. He then said he needed to take it in the back. He came back with pictures and said it was water and food damaged, the boards were fried and it was beyond repair but he could recommend a data recovery firmI took it home and took the back off, guess what not a bit like the pictures he showed me!! I took it to an authorized Apple repair store, problem bad hard drive, replaced, works fine. I guess they are just trying to sell new hardware or don’t employ competent trustworthy people! I searched on all Apple sites for a contact to tell them about this, I guess they limit negative feedback by not having any place to report an issue to management.
Excellent help as soon as I walked in the door.
Im an old guy. I dont understand all of the functions on this phone so I called to ask a simple question. The question is how can I tell if my phone sent a picture to an email address ?The stores voicemail is stupid ( like all voicemail) and there are no correct questions from which to choose. Then I said customer support. I was transferred to some teenager, who started verifying my account. He is asking questions that I have no idea how to answer. He is also reading from a script.I still dont know the answer to my question, but Im sure as hell never going to bother calling this store again.I can go downtown and ask the first teenager I see and they will tell me the answer.Apple store can F.O.
They always have my gadgets.
No matter how busy they always have plenty of good help. My camera quit working. They were unable to fix it and just replaced my X. It’s my go to Apple store
Great customer service and good prices.
Three trips to the Apple store!! The last employee was not necessarily rude but certainly not sincere and became patronizing. Bought a new 256GB 11 Pro Max right before taking a safari in South Africa. The camera kept freezing up!! I was in tears unable to take spontaneous pictures of wild animals. After two trips to the Apple store I requested a new phone ....no. After voicing my displeasure with my expensive new Apple product, the employee actually said “maybe Apple is not for you”. The camera was replaced BUT I spent hours redoing my passwords, apps, settings etc. due to the phone being reset, new software loaded and then taking the phone back to factory settings. Additionally, I had to pay for a new screen cover. Too soon to know if the fix worked. As an original iPhone owner and owner of multiple Apple products, I am seriously disappointed in the customer service I received.
