I have gone to Rodger and his crew for many years with many cars and many different problems. He is always friendly, professional and honest. He will tell you what the problem is and different options for repair. His service is quick and he generally saves me money. He has made himself available even after hours and on days off when I’ve been stranded and had to have my car towed in. I highly recommend his service and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Rodger went to the ends of the Earth to diagnose, solve and resolve interconnected issues in our 1994 Dodge Ram van. He knew exactly how it should look, sound and run and did everything imaginable to make the van safe and road-worthy for our family. He never gave up. I appreciate his candor and perseverance, in addition to his friendliness and courteous ways. Would recommend unconditionally.

These are great mechanics who always look for the most economical solution. They are trustworthy and hardworking. You have to make an appointment in advance because theyre always so busy. I wouldnt bring my car anywhere else because theyre honest and competent.

After an inspection of my 2005 Camry by a different mechanic, I got a quote to get my two front CV axles repaired - but it seemed to be on the higher end of costs for that job (according to Google - I dont know much about cars). So I took it to Rodger on a recommendation and got the repair done for cheaper than the quote I got - and quickly. Rodger was friendly, honest, and knows his craft. My car is driving better than ever now! 😊

I recently took a F550 in to have a thermostat replaced and the coolant flush...also had end links installed on the sway bar in the front end of the truck. I was extremely satisfied even though Roger dead not solved my problem. I brought in another F550 and Roger replaced parts that were not damaged or in need of replacement. I explained he made a mistake because it was the other other truck I first brought in that was still having an issue. Just so everyone understands this shop made an honest mistake but failed to own up to it therefore I will no longer TRUST Sartorial Auto Repair in Santa Rosa California. I would highly recommend Daves Auto Repair on Bodega in Petaluma...not only did Daves perform the oil cooler repair on my 7.3 Powerstroke they did it for over 100.00 dollars less labor!!!

Mr. Sartorial does an outstanding job to treat every customer right. So far, he has fixed my AC system, transmission problem and brake pads and rotors. He knocked out all problems quickly and cost-effectively.I am impressed by his availability and passion to get to the root cause. I sent over the error codes my OBD2 sensor was spitting out, and he did the research what might be wrong and texted me back what we would do. And then squeezed me into the schedule even though he was really busy.

Rather than just quoting every job as a you need a new ______ - they look at the whole state of the car and look to make creative recommendations based on your driving style, age of the car, parts available, etc. They saved me over $600 on an engine mount job, and $350 on new brakes (based upon estimates I got at other local dealers and other repair shops. I brought my 2002 Toyota 4Runner to Sartorial to fix my 4 wheel drive. The Toyota dealer where I purchased it had fixed the problem years ago and charged me $2000. It malfunctioned again after the service warrantee ran out. I decided not to fix it again given the expense. But this year I wanted to go to the snow and brought it to Sartorial on the high recommendation of a friend. I left Sartorial with a big smile, and an appreciation of the honesty, skill, and research capability of Roger Sartori, the principal. He is a pro, and the price was a fraction of what I paid that dealer so long ago. I have a new friend and a go to guy.

Im writing this for out of towners in the situation I was in. Im from Phoenix but was in Santa Rosa on business. My radiator ended up cracking on me and leaving me in dire straits. I called numerous places and received some absolutely absurd quotes for the repair. I assume because of what I call the out of towner tax. Real thing? Ask around for quotes and make your own decision.I was pretty disheartened until I called Sartorial. They were very friendly and helpful from the start. Gave me an incredibly honest quote and got me in on a busy Saturday when no one else would. The repairs were made quickly along with a few extras he threw in just because. Like replacing a blown fuse I didnt even know about. I left their shop and headed out on my 13 hour drive back to Phoenix. Zero issues on my drive and made it home safely. To say I appreciate their honesty and integrity is an understatement. I would shake their hands again if I could but the best I can do is leave this review. Mr. Sartorial is a professional and a gentleman. He quoted me 2/3 off the price to do the timing belt on my Kia that my dealer quoted me and got it done in two days. Then, when he heard that I would be riding my bike over to santa rosa to pick up my car, offered to meet me half way at safeway so I wouldnt have to cross the highway and deal with downtown traffic. Good to know that decent mechanics are still out there; I would highly recommend for a friendly, professional and personable tradesman.
