Ed and The maintenance Team do outstanding work in the apartments and in our homes! Anytime we have a small minor problem in our apartment they fix it without a problem and always a smile on their face! They keep the apartment grounds in tip top shape along with our homes! Thank you guys so so much
The maintenance team is awesome, so friendly, professional and dedicated to their work. They are a huge part of why we like living here. The office staff are also incredible, super responsive and professional.
Been living here sense 2016 and absolutely love it! The staff is always friendly and helpful and honestly have become like family! Would sign a forever lease if I could :)They alway do their best to keep the grounds clean, and anytime I have a maintenance request their here within 24hours! I can’t express how much we love it here!Thank you Alexandar team for being so amazing and making this complex definitely home :)
I love the location. The management and staff are professional and take pride in making residents feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable! I would definitely recommend the Alexandar over all of the apartments in this area!!!
Matenience crew is the best! Their manager always waves hello in passing and he is on top of everything. Good environment. Near a bad neighborhood however it is a gated apartment and the staff has worked hard to keep it safe. Landscape is very well kept. If you have any issue or concern they respond right away. Overall good experience living here over the past year.EDIT: 2021Still an amazing place to live after 2 years.
I have worked with this property professionally for at least a few years now. I always receive excellent customer service and great response times. DeeDee, the Property Manager, has been an AMAZING resource for me over the years. I appreciate my relationship with these people. They are great!
I love that this place is a gated community. And always very well maintained. Office people super friendly as well. Good place to call home
My wife and I have lived at the Alexandar apartment complex for the last year. I have read some of the other reviews and disagree with most of them. In the last year the management has had a big turnaround and the place is much safer than when we moved in. The management has assisted us in every possible way. Ed is a supervisor who runs maintenance around the building and it’s obvious he truly cares about the residents, his staff, and the property itself. We looked into cost of the apartment and accounted for the extra costs that would be added onto our building. There were no secret additions to our monthly rent. We were explained that the cost of plumbing/trash/sewer would be shared and would be an additional cost. It cost us approximately 200 dollars on top of the rent. We were quoted a little less than that originally but it’s still the median price of living in Santa Rosa which is expensive in the first place. The amenities of the building are nice and well kept. They finished them within the last 6 months so they are all brand new. The complex is also situated on the lovely Santa Rosa Creek. The creek is a gorgeous place to walk or take your animal (complex is animal friendly). I don’t think I’ve ever seen any neighbors walking on the creek and there are minimal homeless (specifically walking west). The apartment complex is sitting right next to one of the best secrets of Santa Rosa: Inwalle’s gardens. A local grocery store/farm/ nursery. Again, another place that I have never seen any residents shop at or go to.Santa Rosa has its issues and south of HWY 12 is a good reflection of the drug issues and mental health issues that exist in this part of Sonoma County. The Alexandar has a gate and we hardly ever see people coming into the complex without a key. We feel safe at all times of the day inside the complex.Basically it’s easy to see some of the struggles of an apartment complex in Santa Rosa. Our experience of living here has been really wonderful. It has its quirks to figure out (like the front gate not working as a result of people not following the rules) but they are always quick to resolve any reported issues. In my experience of living in many apartments over the last decade I have never had such attentive management and we are grateful for our time here.
Best staff I have ever dealt with. Both the office and maintenance. I regret moving out of here.
This is my 3rd time living at Maribelle. If you keep to yourself and not bother anyone else its fine. Ive never felt unsafe here. Drugs and all that are everywhere dont fool yourself. Mostly everyone that lives in my area are really nice Hispanic families the only bad thing about them is they make awesome smelling dinners and they dont share! If your not happy where you live move its that simple. Oh one thing I can complain is the parking sucks. My carport is 3 buildings over from where I live so I dont even use it and when I asked if I could get one thats closer they refused. Thats the only bad thing I would have to say.
I had the pleasure of working with Edward and Dede on a project recently At the Alexandar Apartments their communication and customer service are amazing which made my job that much easier .. They take pride in what they do and it really shows
Great place to live, great location and helpful staff.
I moved in the first week of June 2019. I’ve had nothing but problems since I’ve lived here. I’ll be out by the 1st of September 2019. It’s been the air conditioner not working and the washer and dryer being “temperamental” which means the computer boards need to be replaced. Now for the last 2 weeks I’ve complained about my lights flickering off and on in every room along with my TV and internet connection going off and on about every 2-5 minutes and all I get is “it’s not an emergency” so their subcontracted electrician doesn’t come out and fix it. Meanwhile I’m paying for cable and internet which can’t work because of their electrical problem! This is unacceptable !!
Worth the money, great staff, beautiful landscape good amenities, pet friendly 👍👍👍👍👍
The apartments are pretty nice. Ours had new carpets which makes a big difference. There are a lot of drawbacks, though. The washer and dryer that came with our apartment are the cheapest, crappiest appliances ever. The washer wont start half the time, and Ive tried to have maintenance come and do something about it, but its intermittent so they never see anything wrong. The dryer is tiny and takes forever to dry even a single towel. It constantly turns on and off which is confusing. When we first moved in, the dryer hookup was disconnected, leading to massive amount of water leaking from it. It took three maintenance appointments to figure that one out. Unfortunately, there is a shitload of mold growing under the washer because of this. And the washer and dryer take up half my closet space. And then theres just mold growing on my window sash, because the windows are ancient single pane, metal sash windows. The mold is growing because of the dryer problem and the fact that the fan in the bathroom sucks (it is not good at removing wet air). So mold grows in the bathroom a lot, too.I would use the laundry rooms on site but the closest one has been closed the whole 8 months I have lived here. I guess it makes sense because the maintenance crew doesnt get a lot done, so why would they get the laundry working. And then our dishwasher is pretty terrible, too. Tiny and old and makes a ton of noise. But it works okay. The layout of the kitchen isnt great in general. The other complaint I would share is that people living here are generally from a pretty low socioeconomic bracket so, people litter a lot, drive too fast around the complex, theres always people sitting in their cars in the parking lot for a long time, and the worst one for me is that nobody knows the difference between recycling and garbage.
Nice, helpful staff and the grounds are looking better every day!!
This complex is the worst place Ive ever stayed in. I was there for a few months. They claim to be secure because they are “gated”, except, most of the time, it was broken. The few weeks it worked, cars would just follow others in. One day there was a man standing by the gate making sure every car stopped and punched in their codes before going in. We joked about how long he would be there. 15-20 minutes later, said man was not by the gate anymore. And we never saw another person guarding the gate. The management team is incompetent and dishonest. Deedee told us theres a business room where we could use a printer and a fax machine, but it wasnt true. Once we moved in, they told us we had to email them confidential documents to their email addresses, and they would print for us! We certainly couldn’t email them confidential proprietary business documents to their personal emails! After we moved in, we heard a woman sobbing, and some male voice shouting in the apartment next to us, on and off for a day. Then a few weeks later, I heard door banging and what sounded like a male voice crying and shouting “let me in, please, let me in!” again and again. At first, I thought I was mishearing. I peaked out my door, and sure enough, it was a grown man banging on a door ferociously, crying and shouting outside one of my neighbor’s door. It went on for at least 10-15 minutes. They spend a lot of money to make the landscape appear nice, so they can fool prospective residents into thinking this is a decent place to live. Don’t be fooled! They have supposedly “renovated” the units, but the “upgrades” are cheap and broken. For example, 1) toilet paper holder that can’t hold TP because it’s too small. You have to force the roll of TP into the holder, and when you try to pull the paper off the roll, the roll doesn’t roll at all, and you end up shredding the TP. So you had to put the roll on top of the roller. How incompetent can they be?; 2) towel ring that comes off every time you use the towel. 3) the dishwasher is so loud, and you can only turn it on when you go out. 4) the A/C made this horrible knocking sound that made my heart skip beats.Another unbelievable thing: NO window screen! It rains a lot here: MOSQUITOES! Hence, we were never able to open the window. I had to buy a mosquito net for my bed, so I could sleep without being eaten alive every night. But I could see them trolling around outside my mosquito net. Disgusting! They supposedly have Parcel Pending, which is a package locker hub where UPS/Fedex can drop off packages into these lockers, and then you get a text/email with a code so you can go retrieve them safely. Ryan gives me the information on how to sign up for this service. I go through the trouble to call them and set up an account, then I find out the complex never bothered to activate the service, and whenever packages are delivered to parcel pending, it simply gets dumped on the floor of this unsecured empty room! How stupid is that? What’s the point of having these secure lockers? And why did management tell me to sign up for it if it’s not even activated?I read several reviews with scary stories where the police was called, and I wondered how bad it really was. I didn’t have to wonder for long because a few weeks after we moved in, I was coming back from work, and I see FOUR police cars with their lights flashing right inside the gate, and all these cops moving around the complex. One day I’m walking to my car, and I hear all this noise coming from the dumpster next to the parked cars. I looked over, and see a homeless lady going through the trash picking out cans/bottles and stuffing them in trash bags. It’s amazing how unsafe this complex is, where homeless people can just walk right in.Apparently they changed the name of this complex, from Maribelle Apartments because the reviews were so bad. Well, it hasn’t changed much. It’s still a dump! Before you rent here, you need to read the reviews, including Maribelle.
We showed up to turn in our applications and the woman in the office was on the phone, after about 20 minutes of waiting and listening to her gossip with a friend a line started forming. Then when she finaly got off the phone she asked a couple that was standing if ahe could help them, when they expressed that there where people waiting before them she said oh it doesnt matter and proceeded to sit them down and help them. We walked out. The apartments are slums, with a fresh coat of paint, some cheap new appliances and carpet. The roaches are still in all the cracks. Way overpriced. I habe lived there before, they treat you like you are sub human. Good luck.
Paper. Everything breaks down fast. The remodeled units see thrown together for sure.
No one civilized should live in that apartment complex. There are so many prostitutes, drug dealers, and dangerously mentally ill people there that its not safe for big guys, let alone for families, with or without kids. The managers are corrupt and are more interested in evicting you and keeping your security deposit than fixing problems in ones apartment—we waited weeks for broken toilets, garbage disposals, and stoves to be fixed, and they were only fixed because we showed up 2x a day at Arvellas desk to complain. When I moved out, they sued me and didnt even have the courtesy to serve me—before I found out they had sued me the judgment was around $3K. Good luck collecting on that one. I was also attacked by an aggressive drug dealer who hung around my apt, preying on my wife–I told him to leave me and my wife alone and he hit me and we ended up fighting for 20 mins. He was a felon on parole and when his wife told the cops I hit him first the cops just laughed at him. I reported him to Arvella after that incident and last we heard, he and his stoned and drunk wife are still there, so you have them to deal with. Really, that place needs new management and a thorough cleansing by the SRPD to be habitable. So if you want to be attacked by drug dealers and sued when you leave, by all means, rent an apartment there. If you want to live a nice peaceful life find another place to live.
Well i have lived here almost 5 yrs.last straw was our veichle was STOLEN,we called office and, nothing police reports filled.i had assumed that managment would notify tenants of what is going on,gates open at night, no sec.to be seen, kids 6 under in pool!!!!Hot tub is not working 5 yrs first 3 mnth all was good even the pool had a light in it,no heat .people that do not live here in and out!!people going threw dumpsters!!!!speeding maintanence well it is the office that Tiffany dosnt give a damn!!!!!called on sun.spoke to her and on fri.washer was not fixed, my hubby went to pay rent in advance as always, and he sd >wen will u come fix...>well he was told by arivela WELL I WASNT HERE WED

Bugs, Addicts, Junkies, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! Save haven for drug dealers Police live in te complex due to all the rampant crime and drug dealing that happens here daily. If you want to live in an unsafe bug infested environment then be stupid and live here and hate your life because thats what will happen will be your total regret!! DONT LIVE HERE

Well-kept and very nice residence with good quality / price ratio, surrounded by greenery and equipped with ample parking, swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi. Very kind people welcome you in the offices. Gardeners and various diligent workers keep everything in order and efficiency.
