I was really pleased with the way they cleaned one of my sweater coats. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but the service and price were great.

Fantastic service, clothes were immaculate and price was fair. They picked my clothes up from my hotel and dropped them off afterwards and all within one day. I am very impressed. Highly recommended!

On at least two occasions I have asked for next day service to be picked up before Noon, and they tell me it will be ready before 12 and I get there and they dont have it ready. I thought perhaps it was just an anomaly. This last time, I asked for it to please be done before 11 a.m. I went at 12:10 and they said it was supposed to be 6 p.m. not 11 a.m. I showed them my ticket and they went back to look. They had to bag my clothes. For some reason, they arent getting the message in the back that I need it before a certain time. I think it is an operational issue. Otherwise, customer service seems to be fine. They are nice. The quality seems to be acceptable as well.

I needed 2 chef coats altered same-day; they made sure they were taken care of, and called me when they were ready! I was able to wear my coat day of, and they looked beautiful!

Its hard to describe how bad my experience with Metropolitan Cleaners has been. I was lured by the 35% first time discount which was reluctantly granted. I was told to come 2 days later to collect the items. I went 3 days later and was told two items still were not finished and that as soon as they were done Id get a call. Two days go by without a call so I show up and I am told they only had one item and were looking for the second one. I gave them a description and was told Id receive a call. No call came so I went back and I was once again asked to describe the item (a white The Kooples shirt that retails for over 200$) because, and I quote, we have a lot of white shirts where the tag fell off - this is the respect this business has for your clothes. Once again I received no call and I will be back today to demand reimbursement. I will update the review with the final act soon. UPDATE: It took 5 visits and displaying increasingly belligerent behavior but I finally was able to speak to the manager who promised the situation would be resolved. My shirt was found a few hours later and, upon my sixth visit, I was finally able to recover it. It would be very difficult for me to trust this business again because of how poorly the problem was handled and how much time I ended up having to employ to resolve it.

There are a couple of customer service reps that are very hard to deal with, but overall the staff is very nice and accommodating. I always receive my stuff clean, folded, exactly how I want it.However I’ve lived in 4x major ‘metropolitan’ cities and I would say there’s no comparison for pricing. They say it’s going rate, but the prices just seem high to me.

Metropolitan Cleaners is now my go-to dry cleaner. They are always on-time and provide exceptional service. I have been satisfied with my experiences so far.

I’ve been coming to Metropolitan Cleaners for 10 years. I’m a pain in the butt when it comes to cleaners, often driving way too far out of my way once I discover a cleaners I trust. I just can’t say enough about the team here. I’ve cleaned business wear extensively, slip covers, leather, and my wife’s more complex outfits. Any minor issue was dealt with absolute professionalism and concern, but there are rarely issues. Luckily I live nearby but if I move, i’ll Probably drive out of my way to come back.

Love this place, they take my worst clothes and Benny always takes really good care of me. The nice part is they also deliver and do the fluff and fold as well. One item that I had to was have my items altered and he made it happen overnight.All I can say is great place, nice work and the suvicee is all environmentally friendly#gogreenin2014

Said things were ready, showed up and they haven’t even started. Came to pick everything up and at first they couldn’t find certain things. Finally found everything and nothing has been done. They didn’t charge me because of the hassle but that doesn’t make up for not doing anything and wasting a ton of time

⚠️ WARNING DO NOT GO HERE! We dropped a suit for dry cleaning and was told it would be ready for pick up 6/8/17, upon arriving on 6/9/17 I noticed we had been waiting for 15 minutes, not to mention I had to yell out loud to get someone to come assist me! A young woman came out and at this point I was unnerved and confused as to why it was taking so long to simply retrieve a suit that was scheduled for pick up yesterday! I suggested that if it hadnt been cleaned to give me the suit and refund me as It was just that important to have the suit! She casually deferred responsibility to the back staff as she explained that she had nothing to do with it. I had explained to her that it was critical that I get the suit, my son needed it for a Bat Mitzvah and were flying out this afternoon. Again, she CASUALLY walked to the back with ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF URGENCY! I have worked many many years in customer service and I can say this was absolutely unacceptable! It gets better!!! After waiting yet even more time, an additional woman steps out to the front, after I had to scream into the back that I needed to leave, and she brings ONLY MY SONS SUIT PANTS!!!!!!!! I asked how this could even happen and I kept getting same response, I dont know, my boss misplaced them. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH NEGLIGENCE! The irresponsible attitude of the employee only added insult to injury! They seemed to not care at all and were offended by my attitude with them for their mistake!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0 (ZERO) I WOULD! Do not go here. Had the employee been a bit more attentitive to the situation and be more responsive and proactive I would have been upset but not as upset. Bar and Bat mitvahs are truly very important occasions, tomorrow is suppose to be my sons Bar Mitvah!!!!! I entrusted in this business to follow through on the services they promised- they lost his suit jacket and the employee had 0 customer service skills! I have every right to be livid! AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE

WILL NOT GO BACK HERE AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT EITHER. Dropped two expensive tshirts here for DRY CLEANING, I explicitly told them they need to be dry cleaned only. The label on the tshirts says so too. Have been taking them to dry cleaners a lot of times but only this place managed to shrink them two sizes down.
