I only have good things to say about this Center.They matched the lowest price I found online, which I will always be thankful for it.They are very professional, friendly and always providing an outstanding service.I am referring them to my friends and I will continue to do so.Dont think it twice, fight those taboos and make the decision to start wearing those hearing devices that will improve your daily life from now on.

The woman who assisted me saw me at the appointed time and did a thorough job in cleaning my hearing aid so that it was working properly.

Went for an appointment with Peter a while back and I thought I could impart some helpful tips about the specialist and how you can get a good deal.1. He cares more about selling a lot of hearing aids, than the price he is selling them. In other words, if youre willing to pay full price for the hearing aids, hell let you, but if you push back a little more he will go down in price.2. This is important--he is NOT an audiologist, although hell tell you that. It is my understanding that a hearing specialist is essentially just a salesman who can adjust hearing aids. I heard from a few patients of his I know from the eye clinic that hes actually pretty good at adjusting hearing aids.2. You can get him pretty low if you make him feel like hes doing you a favor. The feeling of altruism feeds into his overall inflated sense of self-importance.3. I have never met a young man who talked about himself more than this one. He constantly brought up how wonderful he is and how much people love him, but when pressed for specifics he would become quiet and cagey, as if I was intruding on his personal life. I understand if one is not willing to talk about ones personal life at work, but then one should not talk about ones self at all because it comes off as quite disingenuous. I just smiled, and placating his narcissism put him in a generous mood.4. Hes disappointingly misogynistic. Its very subtle, but he did little things like address my husband more than me, the client. He made comments like, Lets check with your husband, basically reserving all agency in the interaction for my male counterpart as if my opinion was secondary, or perhaps unnecessary. Im a patient of Dr. Stelzner at the eye clinic and I went with Peter because I thought it would be convenient. I thought I once heard him tell his receptionist that he could never have a male receptionist because he likes to be the dominant one on the team, and women are naturally easier to dominate. I thought that was an extremely unprofessional and demoralizing thing to say to a co-worker within ear-shot of a prominent female ophthalmologists waiting room. I brushed it off as something I might have misheard. Although, after my experience, I think my initial impression was correct. Apparently, he is nobodys boss and the receptionist is actually the office manager. They are supposed to be a team, but he clearly has little respect for his teammate and the value she brings because of her gender, which is not encouraging to see. Why he feels the need to dominate his teammate, I dont know, but it seemed quite predatory. However, this behavior could work to your advantage--make him feel dominant in the sales exchange and hell feel better about giving you a better price.5. He practiced bad hygiene and was dishonest about it. As I was walking into my appointment I saw him drop a hearing aid on the ground and throw it back on the table. I thought nothing of this until I walked in, sat down, and a few minutes later he tried to put it in my ear without disinfecting it first. I asked him to please disinfect it because I saw it fall on the floor earlier. He did disinfect it, but he would have put that dirty thing in my ear if I hadnt said anything knowing full well it wasnt clean. That added to the over all disingenuous, scuzzy feeling I got from him.I did not purchase hearing aids from him, although I was able to negotiate the price down a bit after employing a few of the strategies mentioned above. If youre willing to deal with the ego, dishonesty, and overall sliminess, then by all means. I hope these tips get you a good deal. Again, I have heard hes fairly good at adjustments, so Id give him 2 stars if Im feeling generous.Im giving the clinic 3 stars because I have met Ruben a few times and he is a lovely person! Ive heard great things about him. I think my experience would have gone differently if I had made my appointment with him first.

I am very satisfied with my new hearing aide. Before I had to have tv volume on 100 to hear noise and now with same tv and level of volume is on 38 to 40 and the sound is clear and I released a lot of stress from being unable to hear due to hearing loss and I forget they are in and they are unnoticeable to.And the receptionist and doctor were great and friendly and very helpful and I am satisfied with quality of hearing can bring pleasure to your life.Eura King another satisfied customer thank you my hearing center.

Staff and service excellent!

I wasnt looking for anything out of the ordinary. However, I got such a detailed hearing test and an even more detailed understanding of the results. I was told of the various options that would be a benefit to me. I was able to get an amplifier. It is the closest to hearing out of both ears that I will ever get. SO, Im a completely happy I even had an option to have this amazing gift. Its not cheap BUT, they are set up with Wells Fargo for Financing and it helps. The office is super clean and comfortable. The front desk diva Kelly is awesome and accommodating. Peter is not a pushy salesman and is truly about helping you. Great team. Give them a try. You never know how at home you will feel until you visit them!!!!

My ENT suggested I go to this business as part of diagnosing my sinus issues. I arrived very early and was surprised by Peter, who was already there and was ready to see me immediately. He was very professional, very kind, and patient and helpful with all of my questions. The test went very quickly, he thoroughly explained the results and provided me the charted results to pass along to my doctor. I asked what I owed, and Peter explained that this was a free part of the process of getting hearing aids to people who need them. I wasn’t in that group, so I wasn’t asked to pay anything, AND I was finished with the entire appointment before my scheduled appointment time. Unbelievable. Thank you very much, Peter. If I need any related care in the future, I wouldn’t think of seeing anybody but you.

My wife got her hearing aids from Peter and his helpful and efficient cohort Kelly. Both are lovely people to deal with. A short time later I got one hearing aid there. Next by brother purchased both of his aids from Peter and Kelly as well.Kelly did all the paperwork for financing so that was a big plus. They are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable .....What more is there to say.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with My Hearing Centers in Santa Monica. My examination was thorough and completely free of stress. The Audiologist was completely honest with me by explaining that the nature of my hearing loss in my left ear would not benefit from a hearing aid. I was truly impressed by this as there is so much pressure constantly forced upon us to buy products we dont need or want! This was such a refreshing experience. I have no hesitation in recommending My Hearing Centers to friends and family. 😊

This is the best Hearing Aid Center in Los Angeles. I shopped around for prices before I bought my hearing aids, and their prices were several thousand dollars less than the quote from my former Audiologist!And, I loved their huge selection of top-of-the-line hearing aids to choose from.They also have the most helpful staff, Kelly and Dr. Peter Atalla, who always go out of their way to help. Both are professional, knowledgeable and always there for the patients. I highly recommend them.

Ive been seeing him for several years and he has provided me with excellent care with regard to my hearing issues: initial testing, advising as to the best hearing aids for my needs, upgrading when necessary, sending my aids in for repairs as needed, and being available whenever I had questions or problems. Peter is just wonderful!!! He has been working with my father who has moderate hearing loss for over 2 years now. We have fitted him for hearing aids and Peter has done numerous training sessions with him. My father had a really hard time conversing due to his hearing impairment and Peter really helped to improve his hearing. We are all so grateful for him - he also has an incredible bedside manner especially with older patients. He is truly the best!!
