Really disappointing. Short version: We placed an order, and they lost it. This led to us getting the wrong sized glass. It is human to lose things, but take responsibility. Instead they blamed us for measuring incorrectly. I wouldnt do business with someone like this.More detail: we placed the order, and never received any follow up. After several attempts and Ill call you back responses my wife called once again to determine the status of the order. We were on the road at this point. They asked what size we had ordered, my wife said what size was on the original order? I think it was 47.5 inches but check the original order since we are out of town. They made the glass to 47.5 but the actual measurement from the original order was 46.75.Rather than checking the original order (I assume they must have lost it since they hadnt contacted us or started producing the table when my wife called) they produced based on our guess... If we had remembered the measure right 2 weeks down the road we would have been OK, so we bear some of the blame. They should have admitted they lost the original order and we could have remeasured when we got home. They are not owning up to any responsibility. This is not a good way to do business.

I had to replace a missing window screen, took in one from another window which I was told they would make an exact replica of. When I went to pick up my order they only had 1window screen-original that was left per their request to replicate, was lost. They made another screen to match what they had supposedly duplicated off the original they lost- went home to put screens on and they were too small!!! Took them back, and I got blamed that they duplicated what was given-clearly this was not correct but could not compare since they lost the original. Asked someone come to my home and properly measure, which they did BUT it was a headache. This place has changed, will not go here anymore.

Had them put tint on my windows they ended up breaking the rear window and left glass in the trunk of the vehicle, over all tint was good but left some small air bubbles and a few small hairs. Tried giving them a second change to have my front window replaced, and they scraped some of the paint off on the outside of the car around the glass along with damaging the interior dash board.

I had the most absurd surreal experience here I paid double the price for a shoddy window. I was told 3 days it took 2 weeks they broke the glass they never called me I had to chase it down and finally they gave up the goods. They replaced none of the hardware and two weeks after a jet passed overhead and this is what I was left with.

This is the second time weve used Action Glass - once to repair a window that had lost its seal and now to replace a broken 7 ft. tall mirror and removing huge bathroom mirrors and hanging new ones. From the first call to get an estimate, to working with Jerry to get the project scheduled, to the actual install, these guys are the best. Good value, professional work, pleasant attitude; absolutely a great experience all the way around. If you need glass for your home or auto, etc., give Action Glass a call.

Ive gone to Action Glass to have my windshield replaced several times, not their fault, my car seems to be a magnet for rocks. Theyre always quick and reasonably priced. I only wish they had a frequent customer punch card! ha!

I would highly recommend Action Glass. I have a home located in the historical area of Santa Fe and needed to replace six windows they all had to be within the historical ordinance guidelines. The owner James and Jerry his office manager came of to inspect the job and provide a quote. The workers were very professional, kind and and cleaned once the job was completed. Also, a huge thank you to Judy for answering all my questions on upgrading the shower doors In a very old bathroom. Happy to have done business with them.

I had my windshield replaced here (per the recommendation of a friend). They were fast, friendly and reasonably priced. The guy that worked on my car, Alvaro, was very friendly, professional and did an awesome job! I am very pleased and will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

I had a glass emergency this weekend. My glass door on my shower cracked and started to slide out of the frame, it was hanging by a thread. I was nervous it was going to come crashing down and break any second. I called Action Glass and they sent someone out immediately. I was so impressed with their above and beyond service for my emergency. I have used Action Glass for several projects and they have always taken great care of me.

Action Glass was very professional and FAST!! I thought Id have to wait an hour and a half, and he got my new windshield installed in 45 minutes. The gal at the front desk was a total sweetheart. Its funny to find a solid business that we probably wont be needing services from again anytime soon, but I highly recommend them!!

Custom Shower Doors: The measurements & installation were absolutely perfect. The lead installer (Robert) was professional, courteous and efficient. He went above & beyond our expectations. Robert added caulk in critical areas in the shower that the tile installer & plumber had missed or overlooked. I highly recommend Action Glass & Mirror.

This place is lacking professionalism. They didnt return my calls and the estimate was twice the amount as previously quoted. Day of install they showed one hour late. Please look at other places of business for glass. I dont recommend them at all.

We bought an RV motorhome that had the windshield replaced two days before we picked it up by Action Glass Santa Fe. Two days later we drove it home to AZ. Two weeks after that we went to take it on our first trip and the windshield rubber fell off between the two pieces of glass and around the sides eventually too. We have had 3 RV windshield companies come and look at it and they all said that is was not installed correctly at all and that glue was used instead of the gasket to try to hold the glass in place. I would beware of having these folks install RV glass. Get a company that only does RV glass to install the big windshields in motorcoaches.

We put in a front windshield for our Jeep we were in and out in an hour we called other places this place was least expensive

I had them replace the windshield on my Ford F-150. They did a poor job with installing the new windshield. The glue for the windshield is inconsitent throughout. They cut a wire I had that was feeding power to my camera. Glue was on the outside of the windshield and difficult to remove. I paid extra for the OEM glass and Im disappointed in their work. I wont be returning to them.

We were at CVS Pharmacy late afternoon and we too witnessed an employee from Action Glass abusing his dog. The dog was crying and was in distress. We called 911 to report this. We have used this business once before and the work was sloppy. Given what we saw today please dont give this place any business . The owner doesnt seem to care about ANIMAL CRUELTY. DONT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had some major window repair done, work that Home Depot and Lowesdeclined because the large windows are not vertically positioned. Josh and his team did a great job, came exactly when they said they would, and take pride in their work. Very satisfied.

Classic bait and switch, called and was told to measure so I did, called again to ask how I should measure, gave me a price. I get there and they want at least $80 more. A few years previous they did this before for a broken car window, my wife had brought over. Family- owned so we have them the benefit of doubt but it just might be a business practice.

Sorry, you did a nice job on replacing my windshield but were careless with the contents of my car. I had a 2019 free parking library permit that mysteriously disappeared from the side of my windshield but your manager never showed up to talk about it as twice promised. Not good!Ms. Manager, please check the people that worked on that job. And it would be nice to clean up the numerous rubber clippings left on the car floor after the workmen have finished their work. Future customers, beware.

Just called for a quote. I was told by the lady on the phone I needed to send in a picture of the French Door I wanted to replace the glass. Didnt even ask if I had the dimensions. Major problem is that the door is 100 miles away. Just run up and take a pic. No problem! Guess it is an indirect way to tell you we dont need your business. In town competitor got my business. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

First let me say I am only giving 3 stars cause the people that work here are very nice. Were never rude or unprofessional.I got a windshield placed a year and a half ago. I have had 3 leaks in my windshield occurring every 4-6 months. The leaks were so bad they ruined my interior on the passenger side. Every time I would take it back they “resealed” it for free and were very pleasant. I had a resealed last week and again another leak (4th leak). I could take it back and they would allegedly fix it for free.(you need receipt in order for free reseal) but I am sick of taking time off of work to have it leak over and over again. Disappointing cause like I repeated they are very nice as people but clearly can’t apply or fix a windshield correctly.

Quality of car tinting is awesome, and I am returning customer as this business proved themselves over the years. But be prepared for some wait for sure. They only can do so many cars a day, and if you come later than others, you can be waiting for 5 hours or more. So best is to plan to do something in the area so you dont feel the pain of the wait.

I called to ask for a quote on a windshield for my car. The lady who answered didnt know which of the 3 windows that were showing was the correct one for my car. Although she took my number & said she would look into it & call me back with the correct quote for the correct window for my car, she never did call back. The next day I emailed James to tell him what had happened, needless to say I didnt hear from him until that evening via email asking me to give him a call back. Too little, too late, by then I already had a new windshield on my vehicle.

I had the pleasure of having Action Glass replace some windows for me. When I called they were nice, professional and informative. When my windows came in two Action Glass employees, Josh and Mario came to install them. Not only were they courteous in my home, they were fast and very clean with what they did. If I ever need any glass again I will be returning to Action Glass.

Not very professional staff to start off with. I called to set up an appointment (took me 3 times to call because the person working the phone would just pick it up and hang it up) I had called to confirm my appt time and they couldnt figure out if I was scheduled or not...After that all got squared away, I took my car in which was only suppose to be for a day to replace a broken driver side window, Action Glass ended up keeping the car for almost a week because the part they ordered was wrong and they had to get the correct one. At this point I thought no big deal they are making sure they get it done right, I was wrong... I picked up my car and not only had they not vacuumed the glass out of the door, (it rattled a bunch) they also put in the wrong glass breaking the seal to the door, and the tint was scratched.Shortly after I got the window replaced it would not roll down. I took it back ( Having to supply proof by receipt that I took it there just weeks before) They fixed it saying it was off track because of a loose bolt. Well it came off the track again.....I was so frustrated with them at this point that I ended up just fixing it myself. While fixing it I noticed the screws to the door were not even screwed down all the way (this tells me his guy was in a hurry to fix my window and did not care to put it back on properly). My speaker was broken, the plastic that goes inside the door around the frame was ripped off, and there was broken glass all over the place.I got to the problem, that bolt was loose Because its the wrong glass for my car, I confirmed this after taking it to another glass place.So much more problems i had that I didnt put down because this review is turning into a novel. Overall I do not recommend them and will not go back.

Action Glass installed my windshield on my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder and they did an amazing job. They did it on time. I highly recommend this company for any kind of glass work.

All we needed was windshield molding replaced on a windsheild and were quoted by Action glass and mirror $75 to do the work. We waited for the molding to come in from a different autoshop for around 5 days. When we contacted Action Glass & Mirror that we had the molding, they changed the price of work to $190 saying the price goes up every week. Beware of this incompetent business over charging customers. Take your business elsewhere

Staff was friendly and polite. I had a window on my 4Runner replaced. However they replaced it with a non-tinted piece of glass even though I asked for tinted. They offered to swap it out that day but I was leaving town and couldnt come back.

This happened about three years ago..After receiving great service from some business i realize they do deserve a great review for their performance. after writing the Greatest experience i had, i thought to myself what was the worst experience i had in my life as a customer.Without thinking twice, i thought to myself Action glass.I had a Mustang convertible.. one day i noticed a little gap on my rear window. since it was rain season i didnt think twice and wanted to fix it.After googling for while i found this place, so i called the place and asked if they fix this kind of problem.The answer was better than what i thought it would be.we dont have to replace the window and we can re attach the gap for $60 dollarsso i made an appointment to fix it and when i got there they said it would only take about 40 minutes, so i walked to Dennis to get some lunch. before i even got my food i got a phone call saying that they cannot do the job. i was very disappointed that they changed their words. i went back after my lunch and when i got there i noticed my back window was detached. i got in and asked what happened. (when i took the car in the top side was only detached.so they took the whole window out realized they couldnt do it i guess..) the guys apologized and said they couldnt do it so they recommended a place they could fix this problem. i was so mad but i really wanted to fix this as soon as possible so i went to the other place right away before they were about to close. after talking to the other guys they said i needed to replace the whole rear window. they told me i have to order it and they should have never taken the window out because it take 3 to 5 days to get the window replacement. they could have just put the tape over the gap to prevent the rain from coming in. The very next day i called Action glass to tell them how disappointed i was .. the guy answered and when i told the guy why they took the whole window out, he said we dont do convertible windows. so i asked him again ok i understand that but why did you say that you do and took the whole window out . He said we gave back your car how it came in. i couldnt believe what he said so i asked if i could talk to his manager .. and he said he was the manager and he was the one who talked to me before and he told me we do deal with convertible window. i asked why didnt you tell me when i called and if you dont deal with convertible windows why did you take the window out. he said again we dont deal with convertible car window and have a great daythis could of been solved with a sincere apology and admitting what they did wrong instead of being completely rude. Some businesses have to remember that good customer service plays a big part on their possible success.

Dont even bother coming in here. I came in to fix a window with a broken part for the electric motor. They said they could fix what was wrong. Instead, they charged me to redo what I had ALREADY DONE and put a damn stick holding the window up. Despite the fact I had already done that myself, they refused to return my car keys or release my vehicle until I paid the full price. I was rudely dismissed by the owner when I complained.TL;DR they charged me for work I had done myself, refused to listen to my complaints, did not fix the problem they were supposed to.

If I could give NO stars, I would. James Salazars communication skills leave something to be desired. I was trying to arrange a special custom job and he came and gave a bid. Said he would get back to me to give me a time frame. Didnt call back, so I called only to find out hed left on vacation. Called AGAIN, was told AGAIN he would get back to me--didnt. When I finally called again, I was told that I had been rude (I wasnt) and that I had said I didnt want to work with them (I didnt) and HE said HE didnt want to work with ME. They also had a coupon listing a discount for custom jobs which he wouldnt honor for this job. I had also asked for the owner to call me (who also happens to be his wife), which she also NEVER DID. I say RUN dont walk away from this company. Not worth being berated for trying to hire them.

Action Glass and Mirror has installed windshield glass for me several times going back to the mid 1990s. Living in New Mexico with its occasional dirt roads and flying rocks hitting windshields its par for the course to get your windshield broken at some point. That being said, my experience with Action Glass has always been excellent. They have installed windshields for me on my Chevy truck, my Volvo and my Nissan Sentra, going back to 1995 or so. Each windshield was installed right, they gave me instructions on when to remove the blue tape from the outside edge of the windshield and they treated me very well. I highly recommend Action Glass and Mirror.

Went into the store Friday to inquire on pricing for a mirror. Was told to call when I knew the exact size. Called back Friday to give the dimensions to pick up on Monday. Was told that they dont take the measurements or make the cuts until you come in to pick up. Made a special trip on Monday to be told well I dont have anyone to get the glass out, you will have to come back Tuesday. SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE. The customer service sucks and they dont care!!!!!!

I had 7 windows replaced that were either broken (1 Layer) or that had fogged due to thermopane failure. The job was done quickly and looks great. I highly recommend Action Glass for home window repairs. Far cheeper than complete window replacement and looks just as good. If the frames are intact this is the way to go.

Jerry from Action Glass really helped me out, and offered me the best deal of any other place from which I received estimates. Action Glass does fantastic work on both glass and screens.

I have used Action Glass 3-4 times over the course of the last 2 years and as recently as last month. The Action Glass team have always been very professional, show up when they say they will and have delivered quality work on the windows I have had replaced.

Terrible customer service. This company broke our glass three times before they could complete the install of our storefront commercial property. The lock was not working correctly upon install and the employee said, thats just the way they are sometimes. Two months later lock is even worse, not even locking at all. I called three days in a row only to have the secretary tell me that they would call me back, only to wait three days with no returned call. I would not recommend to anybody.

I find it ironic that the company is named Action Glass since what they seem to specialize in is INACTION. A few days ago, we heard an enormous crash. Our huge bathroom mirror had come unfastened and fallen to the floor. Glass shards scattered over 4 rooms. It was a miracle that no one was severely injured. A couple of years ago we noticed that this same mirror was loose and contacted Inaction Glass. They admitted that the installation was poorly done and came out and reglued it. This time they wont return our phone calls and wont stand behind their product. We are planning to take them to small claims court and Im going to post this review all over social media. I just hope and pray that these bozos dont kill somebody.

Never do business with this company. They are unprofessional and do not take any kind of pride in their profession. They do not place orders properly and the labor will more than likely end with damage to your property; vehicle or home. When I approached the owner of my concerns and to seek a resolution he took a bite of his jelly donut and said, “It’s not my car.”
