Living with a loved one with Alzheimers is the most difficult thing Ive ever done. Eventually there came a point where taking care of my mother-in-law was more than we could handle on our own. Pacifica Memory Care is staffed by really caring, efficient people who SEE each individual person. We had my mother-in-law in two other facilities prior to Pacifica. Both had huge red flags and problems. If you are dealing with such a situation and are looking for a safe place for your loved one, I would highly recommend touring the Pacifica Memory Care unit. Its cheery, comfortable, and much more of a home atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. Pacifica is also totally fine with you installing a video monitor in your loved ones room, something I would recommend if your loved one doesnt sleep at night. Other places I toured strongly discouraged any sort of monitoring. Also, Pacifica Memory Care is totally OK if your loved one chooses to stay up all night in the living area, watching TV or whatever. Two other places where we placed my mother-in-law for respite care would force her back to bed, which was inappropriate. And finally, Alzheimers is a fatal condition. The Pacifica Memory Care unit works with transitioning your loved one into hospice care, and they dont have to move to a different room. Because we had the monitor, I saw staff come in and spend extra time with her at night. One even came in and sang to her one night. It still makes me cry to think about it. We will forever be grateful to the Pacifica caregivers for helping us through this terrible disease and for the care they gave to my mother-in-law.

I have only 1 thing to say. there is 1 employee who stands out above every one else who works at this facility. & she deserves a raise. her name is Jasmine. she is thee nicest person on this planet.she is so courteous & attentive to all the residences needs if u ask Marty she will agree that she goes above & beyond the call of duty on a daily basis. please give her a raise she should be making no less than $20+/hr. Thank u.

This community is beautiful. I love the outdoor seating in the gazebo. I was pleased with the caregivers that I spoke too. All were very kind, welcoming, and positive. Pacifica is accessible to the rail runner and just down the street from lots of yummy restaurants and shopping.

I stopped by this community and was pleased with how clean it was!! The staff were very friendly and welcoming they took time to answer my questions. I am pleased with the variety of activities and food options they offered my mom through out here stay!!

Our mother entered Pacifica three months after her 100th birthday when hospice could no longer care for her at home. It was a sad and difficult decision that she resisted fiercely, but once an assisted living resident, she saw how conscientious and compassionate the staff of Pacifica are. Her worst fears were proven unfounded when she felt the love and attentions of a truly caring, competent and dedicated staff. We could not have been happier with Pacifica, and will enthusiastically recommend this facility to anyone facing a transition to managed care for an elder. If a personal, friendly touch in a familial and collegial atmosphere is what you want for your loved one, Pacifica is an excellent choice.

I am a caregiver here, and I love the staff and working with my residents! Its such an honor and privilege to work with such a great generation. Pacifica is definitely a place to call home!

It seems to me that people should be aware of what seems to be unfair business and/or billing practices of Pacifica Senior Living. I had made arrangements for my elderly mother to move to Pacifica Senior Living in Santa Fe, NM. She only survived three weeks after moving there. Yet, Pacifica charged for an extra week of their high level care after my mother died. Pacifica also charges and charged a $2,000.00 community fee. Despite my mother only being at the place for three weeks Pacifica only returned $1200.00 of the $2,000.00 community fee. They have to date kept $800 of the community fee (for only a three week stay). Yet, Pacifica received full payment of their other expensive charges. Pacifica was hand delivered a letter of complaint to the Executive Director (and copy also sent to corporate lawyer) and request for refund and Pacifica has failed and/or refused to make the proper refund of care fees and a properly prorated community fee and/or provide an itemized statement justifying proper billing and charges. In addition, after my mother died, and though Pacifica was well aware of her death, Pacifica then improperly electronically deducted more than $5,000.00 from a checking account to pay for the next month and refused and failed to deliver a refund of that improper withdrawal and then sent an inadequate refund via slow mail - claiming it was corporate policy.

This community is beautiful and so is the team! From the moment I walked in and was greeted warmly by the concierge and one of the managers, they made me feel so comfortable. They took time and answered all my questions.

Hello my name is Desauri or Dez and I just love my job here at Pacifica Senior Living of Santa Fe!!! I love my residents here and enjoy helping them with their day to day activities. Its rewarding to me. It fills my heart with happiness knowing that Im able to make a difference in our residents lives. Also makes happy knowing that they are in a safe environment and have the freedom to enjoy their lives here at Pacifica!!!!

From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed by Priscilla, the receptionist with smile. I met with Executive Director who gave me a tour of the beautiful community. The staff was very friendly towards me and appeared to enjoy their work. The rooms were very spacious with views of the Sango De Chirsto Mountains. I was impressed with the cleanliness and airiness of the general area. Definitely a community that I want to be a part of.

Worst place to work! Employees do whatever they want, needs improvement in all areas!!!!
