I see a lot of bad reviews but I have always got right in and out. I’m usually not real early tho, and I always deliver eggs. There’s quite a bit of truck traffic through here tho so you may have to wait till a few for someone to move so you can back in. If you’re here early it’s probably going to be a cluster. Lumpers have always been great as well, I check in and they yank it off, sign my bills and I’m gone.

Really unorganized. If you’re coming to deliver I suggest you show up at 11pm when they start receiving. I showed up in the morning to deliver 1 pallet and took almost 5 hours to get a door. Not to mention the Gelson drivers are real rude. Almost got into a fight with one.

Lumper service is great. Only reason I don’t give a 5 is because the order in which trucks are received isn’t organized. During busy hours, truckers need to figure out whose next to back into a door. You can only imagine how chaotic that gets. Overall good though.

Overall good. Especially lumper service for doors 31&32. Truck arrival and door assignment could be better organized by Gelson’s staff though.

Not so friendly staff and take a long time to get unloaded. Overnight parking on the streets around business.

Safety third!

Quick check in a little confusing because the trucks don’t follow the order of check in, mostly the day cabs that think they are more important that the big trucks. Took about about an hour so not too mad. Parking available on site and no food truck. Only 4 starts because of no food truck and no one directing the trucks.

Fast processing and unloading.

Meat receiver is easy to work with. If you want to lump your own load, hes cool with it.

No overnight parking in the facility but there is parking on “marquardt ave “ mica st”. Produce receiving starts early not sure about time. But most meat deliveries start at 7. Lumper fee taken over the ph so no need to have a phy check. No cash. Pretty easy backup. Receivers are pretty chill.

Top flight operation...

Lumper charge was 400, and told me to rewrite the check when I pay to gelson. Please be careful writing check. Very annoying.

Thay sign paperwork before thay go to lunch.had me unloaded quick.lumpers charge to much tell you one priss and then charge you another.

There are no lumpers early.

That the have you deliver their product then they expect you to palletize the product and they want it done prefectly then you still gotta stand or sit around waiting for paper work
