LA Appliance is a complete scam! They mess up my washer and try to brame me for breaking my own washer. I give them a big fat zero…… job not good at all! Don’t trust this company.
This company is a service provider for the Home Warranty Company First American. I placed a service request for my dishwasher leaking in the back in the beginning of September. I received a call from them stating they would do a “video diagnosis.” On the day of the video diagnosis the video did not work. The woman called me on the phone and asked what is wrong with my dishwasher. I explain it is leaking water from the back and the soap dispenser is broken. She stated they would order parts and get back to me. I call today and the lady explains they ordered parts that they hope will come in at the end of September, but they are on back order. I ask what kind of parts, as no one has been out to diagnose the problem. She stated “why do you think we do t know what the problem is.” I explained because no one has come out to look at the dishwasher. I asked to have a tech scheduled to come out and she said they would not have anyone available until the end of September. This is the second time I have had a huge issue with this company. Do not use them!!!!
This company is a complete scam, they shouldn’t be in the business to start with. Your appliance will stop working completely if it was partially working before, no one there will care to even listen to what you are saying.
LA Appliance charged me $825 to repair my LG refrigerator. The Compressor that they replaced was still under warranty so there was no charge for the part. It took the repairman less than 2 hours to repair and at least half that time was replacing the freon and he sat in his car while the unit was charging. It lasted less than 2 months and my refrigerator stop working claiming that the warranty for labor is 30 days. Way over priced for the work that was done and LA APPLIANCE did not stand behind their work without me paying again which I was not willing to do. Unfortunately, this company was given to me by LG as one of their authorized contractors to install the part. The other contractors on the list sent to me by LG do not service Castaic.Recommend to all not to do business with them, they are not a company that stands behind their work.
I used them 5 years ago and the last week for the second time but different appliance. Before was the washer Last week was the drier it was the. drier. It work good now, see you in 5 years. :0)
Scheduled me for anappoint ment on a day that they were closed so now Im five days into not have a working refrigerator WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t waste your time or money on this company!! The original call was for my ice maker, than the technician said, oh your freezer gasket has a small leak, oh ok cool.. replace it. Showed up 3 weeks later with the freezer gasket and no freezer part? Ok, replaced the gasket, completely didn’t install it right, so my freezer was full of ice for 3 months!!! Showed up with just the freezer gasket and not unit to replace the ice maker and now NO ONE in the company has any recollection of my ice marker part that was placed??? Worse company ever!!
BEWARE! The compressor gave out on my LG fridge, so I called them out. The rude technician did replace it and it seems OK, after $950, but in the process, he yanked the fridge out of its space by pulling it by the door handles, and miss-aligned both the fridge and freezer doors. It created leaks and frost formed on the evaporator, causing the fan to fail.. They would not fix the fan or the doors, I repeatedly asked to speak to service manager, but he was never there and never returned my call. I finally fixed it myself. Garbage service company, if you hire them, you deserve what you get.
If i can give zero i will.. Will not recommend unless you like headaches and stress.. service call started last April its almost june issue not fixed.. dont do business with this provider..🤬
I would give them zero star if that was an option!!! Their customer service is severely horrible!! Their customer service representatives are in need of immediate training!!! I called their office at 8 A.M. and immediately was placed on hold with the auto attendant saying please hold for the next available representative, you are caller number 1 in the queue. That repeated about every 3-4 minutes. What company places customers on hold when their office just opened at 8 A.M.!!!! Not once did a live representative got on the phone to apologize for the long hold or to schedule the appointment!!!! The call dropped after 30 minutes. I had to call again this time, was immediately again on hold for 3 minutes. Finally a live person came on the phone to schedule my appointment!!!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would rate them ZERO if that was an option. Sent parts changers out twice over a one month period to fix my refrigerator. Not fixed. Then spent two weeks trying to contact the manufacturer to see what to do next. Six weeks in and my refrigerator is STILL not working. What a complete waste of time to deal with these people. And the receptionist is very condescending, knows nothing and refuses to answer any questions or confirm any information. She needs a lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Worst customer service I have ever had. My refrigerator has not been working since July 18. It is September 9 today. Technicians have came out to my house 3 times to do repairs still don’t get it working. Now they tell me they had to order another part and it will arrive by 9/18. Every time technician left my house he knew it wasn’t working. The last one said clearly it sounds like it’s not working I will be back tomorrow to fix it and never showed up and the company never called me for an update. When I finally called them back they basically tell me to bad and I have to wait. They take no responsibility for any of their mistakes they don’t care about their clients. I would also rate them a zero but I have to put 1 star since it’s the minimum
Horrible Customer Service.. it will take them more than 3 months just to troubleshoot your washer or dryer do not do business with this company... Iam telling you choose some one else.. tell your insurance not recommended at all..
I agree- the most unreliable customer service- just like American Home Shield. It has been 4 months, and my dishwasher is still not repaired. I would give zero stars if I could.

Called about my washer leaking and flooding my garage after a repair . Lady Joanne was horrible. Irritated, and unconcerned or even nice .
Very rude company to do business with. Unpleasant customer service. Unqualified technicians. Going on 4 weeks with zero results, just techs showing up to say they need to order a new part! My home warranty company keep sending this horrible company to my home like its a prank! Was hung up on this morning for asking for a supervisor, i called home warranty company and agent said he also got hung up on. Smh

Yuriy K. was very knowledgeable, identified the problem with our fridge right away and took care of it in no time. He also gave us some pointers to avoid future problems. We were happy to hear that we dont need a new fridge :). Thanks LA Appliance!!!
I hate to leave bad reviews because I am a business man as well but u have to sayLA Appliances Services gave really bad service .. I went through my home owners warranty and they sent them.. my electric stove top over heated and broke. However LA Appliances services took the 75$ deductible and told the homeowners warranty that I broke it.. they just didn’t want to the do the job.. I called my Warranty company and they sent SEARS services. SEARS fixed my oven with no problem.. so If they send this company ask for another company.. if you can’t then don’t pay them the deductible until they fix the problem or you will be out the 75$.. they just want easy money without doing the work.
Horrible company. They sent a report to my insurance company stating my appliance was malfunctioning due to physical abuse. Ive had my appliance since they first built my home 20 years ago and have taken care of all my items. How can they write that? Due to physical abuse? Please do not go to this company. They are lazy and felt this trip would not make them enough money so they wanted to close the claim.
My washer was not working and Joanna from the call center was kind enough to guide me through the process. VERY happy with the level of friendly customer service that has been provided to me.
I did not have a good experience with this company. Their follow up is terrible. Even though they were contracted by my home warranty company to call me to schedule the service, I found myself having to call them to schedule. They told me they would call me within 24 hours - they did not. Once the repairman came out, I was informed he did not have the part my washer needed which created additional delays in my service. One month after the repair, my washer began to leak again and when I called to reschedule, the receptionist insisted I had to wait SIX (6) days for a repairman to come out again to evaluate the problem. Needless to say I did not wait. I called my warranty company to complain and I was reassigned another company (South Valley Appliance) who came out the next day to resolve the issue.
The worst they have been out to fix my ac and just put the glass back in my oven.
Reported issue of my dishwasher with my home warranty company.. they sent this company (LA appliance) as the contractor to fix issue with our dishwasher.. I called the beginning of may, its now the end of june.. its taken 4 visits & 2 different technicians to come to my home to try to fix the issue.. the technician who came today was not wearing a mask (for safety reasons with covid19) I was upset by this, as its not safe to be going home to home without wearing a mask especially during this time of the virus! Also he was not prepared with his own personal supplies.. he asked for our personal towels to clean the mess up from work done today. Their customer service is rude, they take too long to come to fix issues, and seem like they dont have the most knowledgeable technicians. I called LA appliance asked to speak to a supervisor and was told their supervisor has not been working for the past two weeks now but I could leave a message.. the lady on the phone was rude when I asked who I could speak with because I dont think its safe to have this technician going home to home with no facial mask protection. All she said was she will note my concern but shes not sure why he was not wearing a mask. I am currently on hold with my home warranty to let them know I do NOT want this company coming back to my house again.. ever!
Called at 930 am to see if they had a part in stock. Could not tell us the status till end of day. We went somewhere else. Woman on the phone was nice so I added a star back.
I called LA Appliance today 06/26/2020 they get a ZERO rating not even a one. when the customer service woman finally answered the phone she was friendly but once I was explaining why I was calling she was not to bright and had no listening skills. I found myself repeatedly explaining what I wanted she answered with the most ridiculous statements I began to loose it. She was rude and confused not very coherent she had the nerve to tell me that I was talking around the wall. REALLY Well I am not one to take abuse from rude people I put her in her place without using foul language . The reason that I called was to request the last technician that they LA Appliance sent to my home, because that particular company had a state certified repair person he went to school was properly trained and knew what they were doing. About a year ago I needed a technician for my Samsung refrigerator LA appliance sent a fly by technicians to my home they did not know what they were doing one of them informed me that he taught himself. He was not not certified and cause a lot of wasted time they even sent me a Plummer because they did not Know how to service Samsung refrigerators. The Plummer said that the guy was a Idiot sending a plumber to my house to fix a leak from a hose. Again this custom service woman was rude indignant and when I asked what her name was she did not answer me and rudely hung up in my face. Now my life is just too busy to spend my valuable time calling a company with a horrible crazy acting customer service person. I most definitely called her back. I’m very disappointed with their customer service.
I was a little concerned after reading these reviews after i scheduled for this company to come service my appliance. So after they came today here is my review.I received a call 20 mins prior to the tech arriving (as i requested). The Tech (Byron) was on time, friendly and helpful. Explained in detail the issues with my items. He was extremely knowledgeable and I could tell he know exactly what he was doing! I am very thankful that LA Appliance sent Byron out to my home today! 5 STARS for you guys!I also believe that many customers have had great service. We should not only write reviews when we have a bad experience. If its good.. SHARE IT ! Thanks again!

Just had a service call from a gentleman named German, He was AWESOME! Super nice, super thorough! I would use this company again just based off the gentleman they sent. If you can, request him for your next service appointment!
Normally I don’t like to post a negative comment but I felt it was necessary here. The technician that they sent out was supposed to be a “Samsung certified tech”. He was the 3 led person sent out to fix my dishwasher. On his 3rd trip out (because he still had not correctly fixed the dishwasher), he saw it still didn’t work but instead of telling my insurance company that, he decided to falsify information and take the easy road out and say that my dishwasher was working fine. All the while, I was waiting on his report to figure out what next step he had to do to fix it. I had no idea that he sent in the report saying a complete lie. I was then charged by my insurance company and my dishwasher was still not fixed. I hope by reading this you choose to go with a different company that will send out honest, competent people. Do not give them your business.
I filed a claim on September 25th, didnt get a call until about a week later. I did have to reschedule for October 10th then I get a call that the technician had an emergency so they rescheduled for October 11th between 1-6pm here it is 5:45pm on October 11th and I get a call from the office that the technician is delayed 6-730pm still my Appliances still havent even been checked out to see whats wrong with them. This is a company that my home warranty recommended I am not satisfied not one bit.
Called on a Monday to schedule an appoint for our washer and service wasn’t available until that Friday. Was told a technician would show up between 9-1. Once 1 rolled around and no one showed I called the office and was told by Carla that the technician lost track of time and would now show between 1:30 and 2:30. Isn’t it nice how they can “loose” track of time while I’ve just been sitting here “staring” at time. Hopefully he shows up between my “new” scheduled time and “hopefully” we won’t have to wait another week for repairs. Will update and hopefully change our rating.Update: Tech showed shortly after 2:30 and THANKFULLY had the part needed to fix our washer. He was apologetic and professional for being late. I’d give them a 5 star had the office communicated with me regarding his delay.
Bad business, They come for service they charge $95.00 to give a repair estimate on LG refrigerator, that it should be taken off the labor if they do the work. But they called later to tell me they can not do the job, give no estimate, and no diagnostic. This is a rip off.
I would give them a 0, if I could. Cant keep their appointment times! Cant keep the parts they ordered for your appliance on hand without using that part for another appointment.
I rarely leave bad reviews. I usually just take my business elsewhere next time, but I feel the need to warn people. Over 2 months without my refrigerator being fixed because they replaced my motherboard twice with broken motherboards. Their customer service was rude and never seemed to know what was going one. There were weeks between appointments and they never got my refrigerator working. I asked for a refund, and they refunded the part (still waiting to see the refund a month later now), but refused to refund their diagnostic fee. Please dont use these people. They severely over-schedule their technicians and their admin staff dont know what is going on.
If I could give the company negative stars, I would!!!!This review is towards the entire company as a whole. Our fridge has been broken since Feb (mind you it is now august writing this review). Our home insurance contracted them to repair our fridge. Original first repair began in February. Our fridge broke down again in March. We called since it was under the same warranty of the first repair. They took an entire week to schedule an appointment, took day off work and they didnt show up. I followed up with a call and no apology for the NO SHOW. They mentioned their driver had an accident so i was sympathetic and agreed to another appointment. I had to wait an entire 1.5 weeks for the next appt. Finally they show up, review the issue, request parts and took another 1 week for the parts in which they could not set an appointment until part would arrived. Part arrived, then they called to schedule an appt and next available appt took another week. Mind you now its been a month by the time we have our fridge fixed.Fridge breaks down exactly a month later. It is now May. Same cycle. make an appt. Takes 1 week for scheduling. ANOTHER MYSTERY INCIDENT that prevents the technician to show up. LOSS of PAY DAY for me. RESCHEDULES appt another week. Techinician shows up and another part is to be ordered. Part takes a week. Technician appt a week after the part arrives. Another month without fridge. Fridge finally gets fixed in June. It doesnt end there...Its now end of july. Fridge breaks down. SAME EXACT ISSUE, EXACTLY A MONTH AFTER!! Lets repeat the cycle. Appt this time takes 1.5 weeks. Technician.....(does he show up??!!) OF COURSE NOT!!! why change a pattern that works for them and ruins the customers day as a whole, and a full pay day. Company does not apologize. Gives long excuse of why they couldnt show up. Mind you another pay day loss for me. Yes thats 5 days of payday loss. Thats considered an entire weeks worth of work. At this point i could have payed for another fridge and yess i could but it is the principal for having insurance and it working on these occasions. So to say the least ..... If it is through the home insurance ask first who they are contracting..... AVOID at ALL COST LA APPLIANCE repair. If it is a personal repair out of pocket, AVOID at ALL COST!!!also lost of over + $500 of food in the span of feb-aug on each instance the fridge would break.
LA appliance the E. Lancaster office was refered by my home warranty co. LA Appliance called and scheduled my appt right away. The technician named Jonny was very professional, knowledgeable and committed to the job. He was on time and completed what he could in a timely fashion. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood what was happening. He needed to order a part for my microwave, which he did. They called back once the part arrived less than a week later to scheduled the follow up appt. The office called to inform me that the tech was on the way. Jonny came back with the same professional demeanor, explained what he was doing and installed the part without issue. 5 star

Most unreliable customer service and technicians and 3rd party technicians. Today is October 1st and my dishwasher has been broken since the end of June. LM appliance came out to the house to diagnose the issue to order the parts. 3 weeks later got a call to schedule an appointment for the following week (week 4) the LM appliance technician forgot to order the main part but fixed everything else that I bundled for 1 deductable. 3 weeks later (September 18th) I got a call to schedule an appointment for that week. Scheduled an appointment time from 1pm to 6 pm. Took the day off work bc they won’t give you a smaller time frame and he Showed up at 5:50 pm😡 could have worked a full day. He replaced the computer board and ran a quick cycle and left. Loaded the daily dishes in for the family of 4 that we have been washing by hand for the past 2 months and the dishwasher won’t complete a full cycle. Call them back to schedule another appointment on ASAP and soonest was October 1st between 1-6 again so I take another day off work. I get a call at 10 am that they need to cancel the appointment 😡😡😡. I WILL NEVER USE LA APPLIANCE AGAIN . DONE!!!
LA appliance is the worst company I ever deal with, called 6/26/16 for the fridge stop working, showed up stating they will order the part that it will take 4-5 days to get it, I didnt have a fridge until 7/15 when they showed up to the house they stated only one part arrived and still waiting for the other part, as of today 8/3 my freezer has not being fixed, last week i called for a recall service since the display went off, a guy showed up asking again all this questions, and told me that the parts were going to be order, so its been 6 weeks and still not sure of when this is going to be fix. Not sure why American Home shields deals with them.

Where to start? Our refrigerator broke 2 days before Thanksgiving. It is now going on 4 weeks later and LA Appliance Service has NOT repaired our refrigerator. I will NEVER use this company again. Furthermore they installed a piece that we did not request, and was not needed that cost us over $300.00 for. When I called to get a refund and get piece removed, they would not oblige.I spent an entire week calling, just trying to get a manager on the phone. They never called me back, and they hung up on me 3xs. They are rude and unprofessional.
I rated it one star because I couldnt rate it zero...our washing machine has been nonfunctional for 118 days, a technician has been here twice and we could do one load before it went out again each time...and that didnt fully drain. Their scheduling is two weeks out because they are so busy, and they constantly reschedule and put you another two weeks out. Dissatisfied and unacceptable dont begin to express our feelings about this firm. A word to the wise is pass by and find another service.
I only gave this company 1 star so I could make a review talk about poor customer service. I have American Home Shield its taking 3 weeks and three visits my washing machine still doesnt work Ive talked repeatedly with company. Service Manager does not return calls and the microwave also hasnt been repair and nobody knows anything about it.
