** will not carry large furniture up the stairs to your doorstep!**I had ordered a couch which was supposed to be delivered through Reddaway. The company called to schedule a delivery window and said it would be between 1-5pm but probably even earlier than that. I said no problem anytime before 5pm works. 5:45pm rolls around, no couch. Call the delivery company and the person who answered said the couch was never picked up and so they rescheduled for Monday. 10 mins later I get a call saying the delivery people are outside with the couch. Okay, fine they were late, but at least they made it. I don’t know why the person who answered the phone said the couch had never been picked up. However, the delivery people left the couch at the base of the stairs (I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building) and said they can’t carry the couch up the stairs because of “company policy.” Whether this is true or not, I was left at 6pm with a heavy couch at the base of the stairs, left out in the open, scrambling to find some able bodied people to help me carry it upstairs. Highly unprofessional! I recommend people double check this company policy before using this service.

This is how our $6,000 worth of vinyl plank flooring was delivered. I wish I could upload a video because my ring camera captured this guy basically dumping the pallet off the back of the truck. Did NOT even apologize. Said it wasnt his fault. Then he began helping us move the boxes out of the street by lazily picking them up and THROWING them on to the ground. Not a care in the world. They were LATE for the delivery. Extremely RUDE and CARELESS. Now my flooring project has been delayed by WEEKS. and Ive been walking around on subfloor with no toilets on my second story because we had prepped for our project based on our delivery date. Out of 42 boxes of flooring only 10 boxes were undamaged.

I ordered a relatively expensive patio sunshade and this company was contracted to deliver it from the website. Upon delivery, the shipping box itself was nearly destroyed (see picture), to the point where the sunshade packaging itself took a nasty hit as well. To make matters worse, the damage extended into the hardware of the shade, leaving the metal clips completely bent (see 2nd picture).I gave this experience 2 stars only because the package showed up as stated in their estimated time of arrival - which many other reviewers did not seem to have that luxury. If it were not for that, I would have given this a 1 star review.

This terminal has a really good service, but customer support line dont.

A delivery appointment was setup for the hours of 12:15 to 4:00 PM. Nobody showed up. No delivery. No call. We waited until 10 PM.When I was able to get through to the dispatch after over an hour of trying, they did not even apologize for the inconvenience and hadnt setup another shipment appointment. I will think twice about using a shipper rather than driving a distance to get an item from now on.

Weve had many deliveries with trucking companies for the past 40+ years. Never have we worked with a trucking company like Reddaway Trucking of Santa Clara that went out of their way to work with us on a large and heavy load of flooring that posed numerous difficulties in delivery. Tim, the terminal manager and Joseph the driver were not only proactive in coming up with a solution but did it with great attitude. Thank you very much, gentlemen..

Mario the dispatcher always makes it happens. This company is lucky to have an employee like him .

The worst service I’ve ever seen.

I had a shipment of forty five laptop computers that USF Reddaway was contracted to deliver from Oakland, CA to Fremont, CA. They missed three different scheduled delivery dates. After the third missed delivery date we wanted the equipment pulled from their trucks and they still manged to screw that simple task up.Through all of this they offered no explanation nor apology. Complete incompetence.

Pathetic customer service. They phoned and set up a delivery window with me, and I took a day off work to be home for it. They never turned up, never bothered to contact me to say they couldnt make it ... just assumed that I would take another day off, and another, until they finally deigned to turn up.

This is a trucking outfit thats been in business for quite a long time pre-professional all you need to do is hand them the paperwork and Ill take care of you nice company there Nationwide company

Worst customer service ever. They are disorganized and rude, spoke to Tim who was unappologitic over a scheduling issue, they seem unable to provide the service previously provided. Home Depot whats wrong with you, why use this shipper?

Management staff is great. Some of the city drivers suck.

This is the worst trucking company we ever used. They did not hold the scheduled delivery date, even after I called days in advance to make shure they meet it (it was a transport from San Jose to Palo Alto, which is 30 miles). The day after the driver claimed he could not find the address, even so adress and exact GPS coordinates were provided by us.
