BMI Fitness is a great gym. Really low-key and casual which I love. There is none of this crowded high-stress feeling that I get from other gyms. And everything is CLEAN. There is water, fresh fruit, small snacks, towels and the bathrooms are stocked with the items you might need and have forgotten to bring with you.I love Amy’s spin concert class. I have been taking spin classes in the area for the last decade and her classes are really good!I also started personal training with David and he’s fantastic. I have a goal on what I want to accomplish in 2018 and he’s definitely going to help me get there. He’s also the type of trainer who pays attention and has pointed out some things to me to help me with getting stronger. I love this because I’ve had personal trainers before who are focused on making me sweat, but I was doing the exercise incorrectly.
BMI is a hidden jewel conveniently located across from San Jose Costco. I have attended a variety of classes there including U-Jam fitness, Pound, Spin and Grit and find the environment both challenging and supportive. Amy Chang, one of the partners and a fitness beast, has worked with me prior to and after a major surgery to regain my strength and endurance. They have a variety of fitness specialists and classes available for even my challenging schedule. I am so grateful for having found this supportive environment to help me remain by happiest, healthiest self!
This review is well overdue. This is the gym for champions. Everything one needs is here and more. The staff is amazing and it’s a very comfortable environment, that even has me inspired . If you have never been I strongly recommend for you to try BMI and it’s a must to enroll in at least 2 different fitness classes. You will be happy with the results!
I have been working out at BMI since the day it opened. I like the fact that it is owned and run by two ladies who, unlike many places, are more interested in fitness than finance. The rates are reasonable, the place is clean, and the vibe is always good. Other places may have more luxurious locker rooms, but I recommend BMI if youre interested in finding and working out with trainers who really know what theyre doing.
If you’re looking for a relatively small gym where you’ll get personal attention, then this place is for you. The atmosphere is very warm, friendly, and low-pressure. You will feel like you’re working out with your family and friends. The instructors and personal trainers are of the highest quality, with lots of different forms of exercise. If your resolution is to live a more healthy lifestyle, then this place will help your set goals that you can achieve. Unlike most gyms that require you to sign contracts or otherwise make upfront commitments, this gym has a pay-as-you-go structure, so you can go as little or as much as you want. Worth stopping by to check out. I highly recommend this place.
BMI has the best owners, best instructors, and best clients in the area! The owners are very knowledgable and are experts in their field. They are fantastic instructors who know your name and make you feel welcome. The other clients are friendly, non-judgmental, and fun. This gym has a top notch community!
BMI is the BEST gym in town! The trainers, teachers and classes are amazing!! I have never consistently gone to a gym for more than a few months except for BMI. I always feel so welcomed whenever I attend a new class; everyone is so friendly! I have been going here for over three years now, and I couldnt ask for a better gym to go to! You will always get an amazing workout and have fun while you do it, too! Cant ask for anything more! I have lost over 25 pounds throughout the years after coming to BMI!
Wide assortment of fitness equipment, trainers, and unique group exercise classes... including belly dance! 💜
BMI Fitness is a great place to work on your fitness goals. I love group fitness and the schedule offers a variety of classes to choose from including POUND, the sculpting cardio rockstar workout! The trainers are friendly and Amy C. Rad is a motivation warrior that gives every client her all! The facility is clean, organized and very inviting! Its all around a fantastic place to focus on YOU and YOUR goals!
I love going to BMI. It’s like Cheers, everyone knows your name. I work with David and Thao, they are both awesome to work with and each has their own style. Because they are different, I get 2 different kinds of workouts. The Pound class is fun and high energy. The PiYo class really hits all the muscle groups. I am not very coordinated, so Thao spends time showing me the correct way to do the moves. If you are looking for a gym the is personal, this is the place.
I recently reunited with my long time friends, we shared about our daily routines. They were amazed how I keep up my motivation and consistency to workout in past five years. They knew I was never a fan of doing exercise, it was only obligation to health to me before. They were so curious about my transformation from workout-phobic to workout-holic. My answer is all at BMI Fitness. Here are a few tips that I want to share about BMI briefly,1. People - BMI has a group of trainers and instructors who are experienced, professional, friendly and caring. Even members here are so supportive to each other.2. Classes- One on one training class is based on individual needs to benefit their clients the most. And the variety of group classes make you sweat, burn your calories and have so much fun at the same time.3. Environment - Clean facility, nice amenities, they even provide snacks, fruit and coffee for you to replenish your energy.Lastly, I must mention my trainer, instructor, Amy Change Radosevich, aka Amy C Rad or ACR, she plays an important role to keep up my perseverance to workout. She is also the co-founder of BMI, a Elite trainer of U-Jam Fitness, a Pound icon of Pound Fitness, a Certified personal trainer ... etc.If you are in this area, I highly recommend you to come visit in person. You will feel the difference of BMI Fitness compare with other gyms or studios, just like the story in BMI website, they create a true community and human connection. It’s the place where everybody knows your name.
This place is like the Cheers bar of the gym world, everyone knows your name. Great trainers and classes.
If you havent been to BMI in the midst of your fitness journey, put on your sneakers and get the steppin!BMI Fitness trainers are top notch! They are consistently friendly and helpful! Thaos smile is infectious. Daves rally for more push-ups (in any class) are comical. Amys commitment to your health is priceless. The community is considerate, welcoming and non-judgmental. Youll feel like part of the family in no time.If youre looking for elite personal training, fun cardio classes (TRX is my favorite), and a place that will support your dedication to yourself, get yourself to BMI Fitness--where everybody knows your name.
If youre looking for fitness group classes, you wont find any place better than BMI. I have been attending multiple classes (spin and TRX) and they are incredible. No matter what your goals or what your fitness level, youll find exactly what you need here. The staff at BMI are knowledgeable, supportive, and help you reach your goals. Best of all, they have created an atmosphere where you want to come and workout rather than feel like you should... give it a try, youll love it!
