Jims is a great place. Friendly people good service and reasonable prices. The first place I found since being in the Bay area that didnt have exorbitant prices for a buzz. Dont think I didnt want to pay well for my haircut. I doubled the price as a tip. I think you will enjoy it if you give it a try

The only dude in the bay area who knows how to cut my hair perfectly every time. Ive paid others twice as much and gotten less than half the quality this gentleman provides. Even if you live a little far, Jim is worth the trip!

Absolutely amazing! Had one of the best beard trims and haircuts ever, Jim understood exactly the look I was going for and nailed it. Im usually very apprehensive to let barbers touch my beard, but Jim knocked it out of the park.

Proprietor threw me and my 8 year old boy out of his business even though my request was very polite. Does not like African Americans.

Not the most elegant of spots, with gruesome murders often being played on the television, but that is NOT why you go to a barber shop. It is a GREAT haircut. I see Big Jim himself, because he is the master of the flat top. Also awesome with beard trims! I brought my boys (6 yo) and Leslie gave them both great cuts while I got mine. My wife was VERY impressed and the boys enjoyed it. My friend/neighbor swears by Bobby, and his cuts always look great. Make an appointment (or the wait can be long or just not available), and bring cash, no cards.

This place is amazing. I have recently moved to Santa Clara and was looking for a good barbershop and found this place. Could not be happier. I definitely recommend this place specially if you are picky about your haircut and want it to be perfect.The only problem is that they do not accept credit/debit cards. So be sure to bring cash.

Went in looking for a haircut. Apparently I needed an appointment, which is fine, but I didnt know that. The barber working was a very rude about it. Asking if I made an appointment, in a extremely annoyed tone. I said that I didnt and asked if it was a problem. His response was yeah it is, we only do appointments. I apologized and turned to leave and he said if his 1130 didnt show up in 5 minutes he could fit me in. When I asked what if shows up? His response Youre outta luck. BTW place was empty.I dont mind having to make appointments, not cool with the attitude.

Second week here in north Cali and I needed a hair cut bad, just went on Google and Jims barber shop came up. First time there I had no appointment and I was worked into the chair within 10 mins. The staff was really friendly and I was happy with my hair cut.
