These guy are not afraid to do exactly what you ask--great for me, a really solid old school barbershop. Somebody here said they felt they did not know how to do fades here. Probably depends on who you get. For a short haircut in general, they seem to do well. Expertise is like I got as a kid in the early 1960s. They sure will do a good crew or butch cut.

My wife and I stayed the night in Santa Barbara in October, while on our honeymoon and journey up the coast. Not only did the barber do an excellent job on my hair, he found my wallet that I thought I had lost. I was in a panic, thinking it had dropped out as we walked on the street, or been taken. Turns out, it had fallen and blended in with one of their chairs. I had been up and down the street looking for it - had all my credit cards and debit card. I thought our honeymoon was over, until he found it.Did a great job with my hair and they were very personable. The next time Im in Santa Barbara, Im stopping here

Whoever they have working Sundays needs to go... i went in and the only empty seats had stuff on them so i just stood and waited. Then the guy working snapped at me for blocking the doorway... but the stuff on the chairs was his. He went to move it and i just walked out. i’ve been going here for two years and that’s how they treat a long time customer? i’m never going back.
