Hello Ron I hope this message reaches everyone with best intentions....so this man hooked me up with upper radiator hose replacement for 40 bucks you can not beat that when bmw wants to charge 200 something dollars for 20 min job his mechanics are are nice and go above and beyond to help.

My 2011 B7 Alpina needed a new alternator. After calling 9 different shops, I happen to come across Berts Foreign Auto Service. Figured 1 more quote couldnt hurt. Made the call... seriously the best decision I could have made today.Ron Answered the phone and was pleasantly upbeat and had the friendliest tone. (Being a women calling a mechanic shop is already nerve racking, and extremely embarrassing to say the least as I kept calling things a thingy and struggling to properly describe the issues I was having with my car). He listened patiently and never made me feel less of a person for not knowing what the heck I was saying. After taking my cars information (vin, make, model) said he would get back to me within a couple of minutes with a price.Not only was his price waaay lower than the other 9 shops, but he took the time and walked me through my options, gave me his professional opinion (both cost and long term). Never once made me feel pressured.What seemed sooo confusing and stressful a couple hours prior didnt seem so bad anymore. Felt like I was in good hands I agreed to bring the car in, he ran the report which was 4 pages long (I was about to pass out) rather than worrying me, He quickly set my mind at ease by saying that most were caused by the bad alternator everything will be fine. I trusted him. Couldnt help but think what an amazing man.Finding an honest mechanic with the customers best interest is rare in this trade and so is Ron.Only took a call. Im sure this wont be the last time I run to him for help.

We took the car in for a diagnostic check, the car would not start. I talked to Ron, he was very professional from the very beginning. After Ron did the diagnostic check he determined that the car needed a new fuel pump.Additionally, Ron, informed us that the Mercedes warranty should cover all of the repair costs, so he recommended that we take the car to the Mercedes Dealership to get fixed. Ron, was completely honest by referring us to the dealership.The repairs would costed us $4000 due, to the extent of work need. However, because Ron was honest, he advised us that the warranty would cover the total cost of the repairs at the Mercedes Dealership.Needless to say, Ron saved us from having to pay $4000 to get the car fixed. He’s not only professional, but honest and ethical as well. I would definitely, recommend this shop to all of my friends and family members.

10/10 service!! Had to get my car towed because my Audi broke down right on the freeway. I was scared and had no idea what to do, but I am SO glad I found this auto service! Ron made this unnerving occurrence into the most pleasant experience. Called while I was still waiting for a tow and he said I could get it towed to his shop and I had my car the next morning. So quick and easy. Thank you Ron!

I had to take my girlfriend so she could get her car and this guy is probably the most trustworthy honest mechanic I’ve ever been too, really great guy and didn’t try to upsell us with charges, he fixed the problem in like 12 hours and we were out of there, thank god for this guy!

No help at all, i asked if i could get a quote on fixing my bmw.. Before i called I had the Vehicle diagnosed, I had all the fault codes on hand..They would not give me a quote on anything as they wanted me to take the vehicle to them and would charge me $200 to have it diagnosed again..

Had power steering issue, they replaced the pump that didnt solve the problem, I then took it back he said its the hose so he replaced that all the while acting very rude and defensive. Spent $500 dollars and car still leaking so I decided to cut my losses and find a professional mechanic.. This guy has ego issues cant admit when they screw up.

Ron (Owner) is a character. He is a fun loving, joking fellow who will take good care of your car. His shop is as you would expect a true mechanics shop to be, a bit messy and filled with cars they are working on. But trust me when I say, he does excellent work. His guys take care of my car as if it was their own. I take my Mazda3 and Honda Fit there whenever I have problems and he gets it done quickly, for a reasonable price and I leave a happy customer.

I just want to say I had nothing but exceptional service from Bert’s. Ron and the whole staff did an amazing job and clearly told me what was wrong with my car and what needed to be replaced on the spot. Everyone was very friendly and professional with their service and answered any questions that I had. If you’re around the area, I would say come on down. Thank you!

I called them in the morning (based on their excellent reviews) and was told to bring it right over. I found them knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. they fixed the problem (serpentine belt and oil leak on a bmw 328i) at a super reasonable cost and within a few hours. it’s a great feeling to know where to take your car to folks you can trust with the added bonus of not having to pay to support a dealership’s overhead.

My car came to an electrical stop and all the gauges went haywire. I had no idea what happened so I pulled off and couldnt start the car again. I called Ron at Berts foreign auto service and he drove over to the parking lot where I was stalled and got me going so I could get to his shop. Way Beyond and above service! The price was reasonable and the time it took for them to fix an unexpected repair was exceptional. Cant say enough good things about this experience! Took a bad morning and turned it into a positive!

This shop is Excellent. Very professional, communication is absolutely perfect. Very clean facility. Ron is very knowledgeable and the customer service he provides is a welcome breath of fresh air compared to other specialty shops. Call Ron before taking your vehicle to dealer or other repair center, you will not be disappointed.

My 06 Mercedes E350 smelled like there was gas leaking, so I took it to our local repair shop and was given an estimate of $4,000 to replace a cracked gas tank.When I started breathing again, I decided to call a few places to check if this estimate was actually on target. I looked up 3 numbers for Mercedes mechanic to call. Berts was the first number, and ended up being the only one I needed.Ron was friendly and polite on the phone, and after telling him the specifics, he asked me to hold on for a quote. It only took a minute before he came back to tell me he could GET THE REPAIR DONE FOR FREE. WHAT???Ends up this was a problem Mercedes covers! Ron knows whats up with these cars and looked to do what was in MY best interest over his own! I got the car to him and he made all the arrangements to get it to a dealership, get it repaired, AND had them take care of a recall item while they had it. Amazing.He is looking to build a solid business based on doing the right thing for his customer, even if it doesnt fatten his wallet.There are more convenient places to my home to get my Mercedes serviced, but they arent worth $4,000.Thanks, Ron. You just saved our sons next semester at college! ;)

Ron is phenomenal in terms of his and his crews expertise. Also totally honest and up-front. Very reasonable pricing, and great turnaround time. Also terrific at communication with the customer. An AAAAA+++++ operation all around. Highly recommended.

Ron is the MOST HONEST guy in car repair I have ever met. He knows BMWs backwards and forwards...he never adds on extra unneeded repairs. About 6 months after replacement, the starter motor that he replaced failed. He said, That should not have happened, and replaced it free of charge. Been fine in the 4 years since. I take all my cars to him.Just be aware that he has a different kind of sense of humor, dont be offended, hes just having fun.

Brought my Range Rover in and fixed the air suspension in no time at all. Ron was straight forward and did exactly what he said needed to be done and was very quick. Will definitely go back to him in the future.

I took my BMW 5 series because I needed brakes. They got me right in and took excellent care of me, especially Louie. Prices were extremely fair and reasonable. I live DTLA and would drive the distance if I need to for repairs at Berts.

I had a bad ignition coil and was from out of town. Owner fit me in. Jumped on his motorcycle and went and got part. Was back in the road in 2 hours. Fantastic

Power Irvine Toyota told me my 2004 Sienna needed new front lower control arms because they were falling apart and dangerous. Their estimate was $2300, $500 parts and $1800 labor. I went to Berts Foreign Auto and had Ron checked it out. He found those bushings needed replacement and it would cost $500 (parts + labor). 5 hours later it was done and the minivan runs like a brand new, no more shocks on start and stop. I am so happy. He not only did great job fast but also saved me a lot of money.

Knows the cars. Diagnosed my 2002 BMW with transmission in safe mode and transmission light on. Reset all the errors and wallah, no more warning lights and car runs great !!! Charged me a nominal fee and I was done in 25 minutes.

First a few times were ok, although they claimed to have resolved an issue not asked for, turned out they didnt. However went there again last year for checking, this Ryan guy couldnt even figure out whether there was noise coming from rear side, but still charged me $400. A few days later the noise turned much worse, I was back to ask, he shut me out and tried to run me over. Spent another $600 at CMW to fix. Never again

Worst customer service ever. Will never deal with this company ever again. This man yelled at me and accused me of lying. He then hung up on me. After the fact that I brought my car to him and he told me that I would have to pay even more for him to fix something a second time. I am disgusted at this company.

Very rude. And thats based on a price inquiry call only! how much would you charge for blah blah? this much can you lower the price or is that final? HANGS UP!

The owner is mean liar money lover and aggressive and used me in the worst way he said that his parts are original but they actually off brand they broke on me less than a year and when I went back treated me bad and doesnt have 24 months warranty as he says I hate this place
