Honest service while we were visiting from out of state. Rather than drain money from us only charged minimum fee.. Informed us what the issue was due to spark plugs not replaced under the hood by prior mechanic. Will have car serviced after vacation trip with his honest opinion.

Tim was very knowledgeable and friendly. I went in for some electrical work in my Lexus which had downshifting problem s which is apparently common in my model which had a rebuilt transmission. The car runs great and the problem is fixed. Highly recommend!

Tim has always been good with my 1992 F150. He rebuilt my alternator and replaced my power window drivers side for a very good price. He asked me very precise questions about my expectations and needs for the alternator. Did I want it up to OEM specs? Why did I think a heavy duty alternator would be better? He let me observe him troubleshooting and showed me all voltmeter readings. That appealed to the electronic technician in me.Sorry about people who have rated him low score or had bad experiences at his shop. Maybe it was a reflection of your own negativity or lack of knowledge. Hey everyone has bad days. I respect anyone who can stay self employed for many years. For the record, I do not know Tim personally. I was referred to him from a clerk at a Autozone store.

Best place ever, for both service and labor. Owner was friendly and I did not have to wait too long. I had to change my regulator for window driver side since it got stuck. I decided to give this shop a try. Small stores looks can be deceiving. The price was cheaper than at dealer. Labor is was good too. Dealer wants $260 for parts and $100 for labor (what a ripoff). Another guys down the street wants $200 (still overpriced). Price here was $130 for both parts and labor, with 6 months warranty. Couldnt be happier. Thank you!

After being told to bring the vehicle in, I was disappointing when the tech expert told me that he will not listen to what the installers of a camera system mounted in my truck were suggesting, and walked away. I understand that your ideas may not match up to what you think needs to happen, but when you deal with a corporation, there are steps that have to be checked off on. I wasted over an hour of my time driving to have the tech listen for two minutes to had the phone back to me and walk away.

Dont even waste your time. Their reputation if anything has been fabricated to have some good reviews....Originally called in to have them reprogram CPU and bcm on car he told me he could do it and to bring it in. Upon arriving I was told immediately NO, Im not working on that after confirming he wanted $1500 to work on it.Again dont even waste your time

Bootleg mechanics and the shop owner runs a non certified shop. The receipt only explains your exsisting problem but no details of the service perform. This is not a accredited shop. When it comes to electric problems they can make more problems than you had beginning. It cost me over $1,000. to rectify the problem this shop cost me with electrical problems endured fixing my turn signals. Go somewhere else where its a professional shop.

The Asian man answering the phone is rude and has very bad customer service. I called to get some advice on what service he could provide me with. Im not going here anymore thanks to his attitude.. Dont know him and glad i called in first to find out the easy way instead of taking my truck in and have wisted my time and gas.. Readers be aware of this man.. The only reason he gets one star is because its the lowest I could put.. If I could remove it I would.. Because he doesnt deserve that one...

Ive been dealing with Auto Electric Rebuilders for 12 years now. Ive never had an issue with them. You have to always remember that fixing a car is like going to the doctor. You could get better the first time the prescribe medication. Or in this case, a diagnostic for your vehicle and your car works. But always be mindful that sometimes there are underlying issues with your vehicle that could have caused the main issue with your car. With any shop, remember to be patient. Every shop is willing to work with you as long as you work with them. I would defintley recommend giving Auto Electric rebuilders a chance for your electrical needs for your car. From Engine PCMs, and Transmission Modules, and ABS Modules and Clusters.

The ECM went out on my car and I was referred here. Place looked massively disorganized internally but I was told they had good prices. They told me my ECM was backordered and that theyd need a deposit. I waited for over two weeks and was given the runaround that the part wasnt showing up as they expected. I then took the car to another electrician, who had the part ordered and installed on the same day. I cant recommend this place based on my experience with them.

First, let me tell you... Tim has done work and continues to receive work from car dealerships, and not only Joe schmo here one day gone tomorrow dealers. I am talking about the Toyota s, Nissan s and BMW s and such... when their guys with all the inside info, update bulletins, and tech protocols can not figure it out, the car gets towed to Auto Electric.Second, he has done work for the guys that get credit for maintaining Jay Lenos cars. Not that that is a big deal or authoritative, but certainly interesting!!!Third. He doesnt need your money. He does NOT rip off, his prices are reasonable. And definitely, again, he doesnt need your money because he has plenty of work.Electrical work, is extremely complicated. Like electricity, its a follow the current (codes) mentality, but the smart ones, see the big picture, and experience allow focus. There is a huge difference between treating a symptom and solving the problem. So if changing an item gets you up and running, great. But... assuming that is all there is to it is foolish....ie.... check engine light comes on... code.p07xx .. oxygen sensor front bank1 .. change sensor, light off, great right ? Whats up with the crazy quote Mr. Tim? .... Well... two weeks later, Check engine light is back... change other oxygen sensor, light is gone, hit the road. Ha! Ive out done Mr. Tim!Again the light comes back..run the code... darn it, its the other two oxygen sensors. Why did the guy at @%^0 Zone not tell me there are 4 of those on my truck when he scanned it? Okay, all changed now. Its good right? Truck runs better than ever! two weeks later.. light is on again. Apparently, now that the air fuel ratio is correct and the car runs great, the computer now reveals I need Knock sensors costing $149 each at said @%!0 Zone. :( Now..... I am losing to Mr. Tim. By the way... true story, MY story. Not just a hypothetical example. Its how I first came todo business with Tim, by trying to beat him. Now I understand the original quote. And in hindsight, very reasonable, and I would have not been late on the smog check. The man is passionate about his work. This is his livelihood... fixing cars? No .... solving problems. This is what drives him. Finding ways to solve problems. Using his noggin. Serious... he can give Barry Bonds a run for his money with a measuring tape. I truly believe his cranium has grown. For every person that accuses him of being rude, or unfriendly, there is a thousand others he has helped and gone out of his way for. From pulling strings to get parts discounted, getting cheap tows for, hooking them up to the right professionals, handing out free advice... and way too many times, he has fixed vehicles for customers out of his own pocket, at little or no profit and occasionally, even a loss. How does a customers father passing away days earlier, before the customer picks up the car, lead to the customer getting a huge discount on the job done? Because he is empathetic. How can anyone be that nice? Tell me that is a mean and rude person. The man is overworked. Everyone has a good day and a bad day. He is in a business where he negotiates with shysters and people who always try to one up you, if not for the dollar then for the ego. I am one of those shysters. I should know. One bad day, or misconceiving on someones part, Tim or the customer, and some twit is up here on the internet telling the world how he wishes there was a zero star. Slow your roll guy, are you so full of yourself? Do you not have great friends, even best friends whom you did not like the first time you met them?Over a decade of dealing with Mr. Tim, I still make a good profit on the cars I sell, i get less headaches from call backs... worth every penny. Thanks Mr. Tim.

DO NOT come here for any reason this place is horrible, one of the ladies screamed, insulted and almost physically hit my boyfriend because they exchanged him a wrong part which he paid to install & ended up draining his battery, and messing up his car which resulted in money being wasted on new parts, tow trucks etc.. they didnt wanna refund or give him his original part and kept going around in circles bringing him other parts that werent his . in the end that lady called him stupid, mocked him, harrased him, it was terrible ..horrible service!!!!
