Kenneth is a stand up guy. He quoted me a price over the phone and upon physically inspecting my roof the price was lower than quoted. Kenneth was in constant communication before the roofing materials arrived. There were no surprises. The crew that performed the job were very professional and respectful on the job site. Window King was a diamond among many lumps of coal. They went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. The gutters they installed look very good and I believe improve the aesthetics of our home. I did a lot of research in choosing a roofer. My neighbor used Kenneth and I really did like the job he did for them, but I wanted to do my research because this is an investment. I got so much information from roofers and information differed from one to another. One thing Kenneth offers is hand nailing. I did research on this technique and roofing experts agree that hand nailing is the best thing to do. However what sold me choosing Kenneth is himself. Very straight forward, cares about what you want, explained everything about the job. My roof was installed 4/8 and 4/9. Great friendly crew. Everything was cleaned up like they werent even there. THE ROOF LOOKS GREAT!!!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Window King. He answered our initial call and was at our place to do an estimate within a couple days, had the estimate done and the work done within the week at a great price! The customer service is phenomenal, reliable and we absolutely LOVE our window. We had called half a dozen places that gave us the run around or didn’t even show up. I waited over a week for the Window King owner (Kenneth) to show up to give me a quote for siding replacement and gutters because he rescheduled several times. I should have known better when he kept rescheduling. Folks, please beware, because if you disagree with this man about anything his temper comes out. If you call his bluff on price gouging he loses his mind and starts hurling insults. I am so glad I found this out before hiring his company. He quoted $22,000 to do our siding and replace the gutters. I pointed out I had another estimate that was $4,000 cheaper than his for the exact same work and materials. He started talking about what an honest guy he is and his business cards have his home address and he has great 5 star reviews on google....etc....etc...etc...When that fake baloney did not change my mind, Kenneth suddenly claimed he could talk to his supplier and probably do the job for $16,000. What the Heck??? Of course I asked him why he didnt give me the low quote to start with and thats when he blew his top. He stated I had to pay him $75.00 for giving us a quote. (The quote, btw, was a bunch of scribbles on a legal pad...no words, just numbers.) I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing! So he comes to my house, drops the words Jesus and Lord a few times, and boom! I am not only supposed to listen to his fast used car salesman talk, but pay him $75.00 for lying to my face. Its probably a good idea to mention I am a mature woman with 30 years experience in construction defect litigation, but I never told him about my work experience. The fact that I was simply a woman was enough to piss him off. Before he very angrily left, he ran his truck threw my grass and yelled loud enough for my neighbors to hear him that I refused to pay him (LOL) and that he didnt want the job anyway because I would be too difficult to work with. Well praise Jesus, Mr. Window King, I dodged a major bullet. Bottom line, do not let this fast talker waste your time.

The owner went over all the materials to make sure it is all correct. He checks on things during the job to make sure it is all going smooth. He is a very nice guy and easy to work with. His foreman Tim is very knowledgeable and knows his craft well. Doug and Robert are also great workers. In my opinion they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the service they provided. We would highly recommend using them. AAA+

I first spoke to the owner, Kenneth, shorty after Hurricane(s) in Sep/Oct 2018 did damage to my roof. He was fast and responsive via phone and text. Based on reviews, reputation and price I selected him to replace my roof. During the time leading up to the repair he maintained constant communication until the roof was replaced. It did take some time to get the work done but that was due to numerous damaged homes in the area that were being worked on and near record rainfalls caused the delay. The crew (Tim and Robert) did a wonderful job. Both men were pleasant and worked hard despite the numerous delays due to rain. Robert was always friendly and constantly had a smile on his face. He gave me an estimate that was reasonable and completed the work within 3 days. I have never received this kind of service before, he was great to work with and the work was great! I contacted the Window King (Kenneth Garrett-owner) to get a quote for a small job I needed done for my house. When I called him, I told him that I needed one piece of siding reattached (was hanging off) and a couple of the decorative pieces under the roof eaves (sorry- I dont know the technical name) straightened and secured. He offered me two options to obtain a quote- for him to come by in person and assess the house, or for me to text him a picture of the areas I needed fixed. I opted to send him pictures, because it was a small job and I figured it would be easier for the both of us. He responded promptly with a fair quote for this job.After taking some time to discuss with my husband, I decided to hire him and his crew for the job. I contacted him on a Friday afternoon and he said he would likely be able to come by the next day if I would like as they had some other jobs near me. I was blown away! They came by on Saturday 1/5/19 in the early afternoon and discussed with me again what they needed to do. When they were completed, he let me know that my job would cost less than half of what his original estimate was- I was pleasantly surprised.I cant speak to the quality of work on a larger or different job, because thankfully my house is new and I hopefully wont need more than small fixes for many years. King of the 6 year roof! Paid $13k for a 30 year roof and 6 years later is is leaking like a faucet. After contacted he said the workmanship is a 1 year warranty and that it must have been damaged. Well, no damage occurred but there are shingles that are buckling and the chimney flash they installed is absolutely garbage. It was 5 stars 6 years ago but the proof is in the pudding, you get what you pay for. Never again, I need to find a competent roofer to fix his subpar workmanship.

Kenneths crew replaced 10 windows for us. We were impressed with the quality of work and the courtesy of the crew. There was nothing to clean up after they left. A fine job! After paying astronomical heating bills since moving to this old farmhouse 13 years ago, I finally had my windows replaced last week! According to my friends and family who have had comparable work done or are in the construction business, Window Kings price and product are as good as you will find. The Window Kings team is amazing! The three of them, led by Jeremy, came and worked quickly and professionally until the job was done. It only took them two days to install all new windows in this old house and to install new windows in my screen porch (making it a sun porch). They came back the next additional morning to finish up the sun porch. They did exactly what they said theyd do in great time. They also took care of any little surprises they ran across in the process (an army of ants, loose wood, loose siding). If I need any work done in the future, I wont hesitate to call them. Kenneth is the best, there’s just no way around it. He cares about the community he’s servicing and the people relying on him. He goes above and beyond with a level of professionalism second to none. He is so quick to respond and so genuine in his guidance. The worst part of hiring contractors is the fact that they just don’t show up when you’re counting on them, and Kenneth takes pride in knowing he operates the complete opposite way and will never commit to something without follow through. He helped me in a desperate time of need even though it wasn’t appealing work and I am so grateful for his kindness. Highly recommend; I would use him again, every time.

Im not sure if this roofer is unorganized or shady. After repeatedly rescheduling, at first with communication then none, he would tell me to call different days to see if he was available that day. He called me a day early to say he was already in the area and wouldnt charge the $75 fee for the quote if he could do it in 15 min. He gave multiple quotes for different jobs and tried to sell us siding. He didnt know when he could get it done and the quote was high but before he left, he asked for the $75.

I am extremely pleased with the new roof installed as well as the customer service provided by Kenneth the owner and his entire staff. Kenneth answered every phone call and text even on weekends and late at night. The work began when he said it would and was completed in 2 days just as promised. I believe he truly wants to provide the best work possible and does just that. Great work at a fair price. Donni and Wayne are professional competent installers that went above and beyond to get the job done right.I contacted Kenneth to install siding on a detached Garage after having the previous contractor walk off the job with 1/3 of our money. Kenneth came by in person and got the job scheduled and started within two days. There was a little back and forth from Kenny in his verbal price and what he put on the written contract and he did hassle me for this review but all in all I would recommend him and his installers.

I had Mr. Garrett and his crew repair a section of my roof that had come loose. The reason the 10 year old roof had come loose was because the original builder used a nail gun and shot through the shingle tabs. Mr Garrett answered his phone when I called, had an estimate in under 48 hours and repair was done less than 48 hours after I decided to have Window King do the repair. They are the most professional and prompt service in the area. I will be having them install seamless gutters in the spring and they are a must for all you window and roofing needs.

It was a stress free experience having Mr. Garretts company replace windows and the roof on my house. The job was very quick and everything looked and functioned great when finished. Window King of Sanford recently replaced the roof on my home and I highly recommend this company. Kenneth returned calls quickly, showed up on time for appointments, and quoted a good price. he is very considerate, and respectful of my home and pets, and even pointed out that one of the tires on my car looked low! In the process of getting the loan to finance the new roof he kept in touch and let me know when he got word that the price of the shingles was about to go up. Once I called to let him know I had the check, the work was done within 4 days. The shingles were delivered on Friday and the work was done on Saturday. The roof looks great, his crew was great, and left my yard looking better than when they arrived. They even used a metal detector to make sure there were no nails left in my yard. Whoever says you cant find good help has never hired Window King of Sanford.

I called and spoke with the owner, Kenneth Garrett. I explained that my husband and I were interested in replacing windows (and possible the roof at some point) at our rental property. The owner asked to meet with my husband and I, but I explained my husband would be working out of town in coming weeks, so I would handle the estimate. The owner then took down my name and phone number. I gave him the address for the rental property, but the owner insisted on obtaining my home address. Since I had just relayed that my husband would be out of town, I would not give him my home address. The owner then became frustrated and said, there was something fishy about this, which totally confused me. He also said, I am not going to waste my time with an estimate if you wont give me your address even though he had the project address. As of result of the disrespect from top management, we will be taking our business (and all future business) to another company.

Windows installed in one day. Look great and work much better than the old ones. Kenneth and his crew were super to work with.
