Ultimately if I am purchasing for myself or as a family I will not usually pass the multitude of other stores and groceries to come to BJs. I would rather honestly shop Target or Publix. But if I am shopping in bulk for my business in terms of resale and or wholesale, this is when I am shopping at BJs. That said… it’s hard to quickly, efficiently, and consistently buy here as I need.First:In stocks aren’t very consistent. Products seem to run their cycle very quickly and then become discontinued or obsolete ( that or just never in stock when I need).2nd:Being that I purchase as a resale option the cashiers must press a tax exempt button after every scan… this sometimes adds an extra 5 mins onto a transaction as the hopeless cashier walks back and forth between scanning and pressing the button. Help your team, customer’s, and efficiency by trying to streamline this process.Third:As atated above (in buying in bulk). Bjs is a discount club … within this platform your goal is for your customers to buy in bulk (or one would think), but the registers and checkout process heavily lean towards smaller purchases (15 items or less). On my last visit 6 checkouts were open on self scan (15 items or less) whereas 1 actual register with a cashier was open.I think I’m just as confused as BJs on who their targeting as a demographic 🤷🏻‍♂️

Horrible customer service! Its been mentioned in several other reviews and agree 100%. It is so bad that when I cancelled my membership they did nothing to ask why I was cancelling to try to rectify the issues and retain me as a member.

This store is greatly understaffed making shopping a very bad experience.Another reviewer summed things up best when they said that customer service is almost non-existent. In addition, when you try to call the store no one answers the phone. I was on hold for 15 minutes before I finally got someone. Customer service/member service lines at the store sometimes have many people waiting in line with only one person expected to do all of the work.

Bought tires from the Sanford,FL store in 11/2018. I ended up with nail in tire and the tire was not able to be repaired. Because I bought the tires from there, they came with road hazard insurance. However, after going there I found out that my tire had been discontinued and they’d have to put a mismatched tire on the car. I prefer 4 matching tires in my car so I declined the offer. Matt immediately went online and attempted to locate a matching tire. He was able to locate a few from other online sources and as well as the competitor warehouse in our area. Both Matt and Thomas explained that if I bought the tire elsewhere they would not be able to mount it, as it was against their policy. That was fine. Ultimately, I ended up buying a complete set elsewhere. But, I was impressed at how quickly they both attempted to help me out when they weren’t able to provide the service. I Just wanted Bjs to know that Matt and Thomas are doing a great job in the tire department. Great customer service goes a long way. And, I’m only giving 4 stars because I was unable to get the tire from here, not because of them!!

I gave it 2 stars, because we had a problem with the Wellsley sockeye Salmon 2lbs bag.We have been purchasing them for three years, We trust BJs 8 serving per container.Sadly there were only 6per bags. These bag are $23 per bag. Unfortunately we reach out to the telephone number on the back of the bag, they wrote our complaint & we are still wait for a call back. I think is only fair that they compensate us for the two pieces per bag, that they been stealing from us. This is the best way of explaining it. . Still waiting for a reply.

Horrible...Tonight in the self check lane and some employee female person stands behind us as we check out. I asked her why was she standing behind us? She did not say anything and called for supervisor in which it made me totally uncomfortable as we felt like criminals. Also, the manager showed up at the cash register and removed my receipt from the register. I asked her why would she touch my receipt knowing covid is rapid? I told her not to ever touch my receipt without asking me. She said, she was helping out. No youre not helping out, you are watching metreating me like a criminal. I do not need to receive criminal suspect from anyone and returned the groceries to the customer service desk. Then walked out.

Pretty decent.. Not great. Theres hardly ever an employee in the isles to help you out. Deli meats are awesome and great value. Store is usually clean and stocked. Plenty of self checkout Lanes and usually only one lane with a cashier that is a problem on weekends. Love the fact that they take manufactures coupons.. Plus they have a few coupon booklets available to use as well. Best bagels in the bakery department. And everything Ive bought from the bakery is amazing.

If I could rate this store no stars, I would. There was only one cash register opened to serve 8 customers that were in line at the store. All other registers are self checkout, which we refuse to use in any store. Finally, after 15 minutes they opened up another cash register to assist the one that was available. If this continues, we are not renewing our membership. In this time of Covid-19, we shop in the middle of the week, in the late morning,11:00 a.m. to avoid the crowds. When there is only one register opened to check out your purchases, the line gets crowded, defeating the purpose of self distancing.

The food here is such a hit and miss. I recently purchased onions and as soon as I cut one open, it was disgusting and black on the inside. I really don’t want to shop at a grocery store that has rotten vegetables.

I love that they carry my favorite olive oil in the large containers. Their bakery is grest

Ive been calling the store for about an hour and tried all departments trying to reach a manager or someone for an emergency call and not one department answered the phone. The issue was solved by other means. This is unacceptable!

This store is one of the worst run retail operations I have ever shopped with. Customer service is non-existent. Today was the last straw. Bought a rotisserie chicken and brought it back to office. Cut open and it was raw in parts. Okay $5 no big deal. I tried to call store to warn them that they need to pull chickens so someone doesnt get sick. No extensions answer,. All voicemails full. I drove back to store and one person working customer service and 15 people in line. Handed chicken to clerk and walked out. Tried to call corporate to file complaint--30 minute hold times.

When it comes to finding large quantities of food and other housing materials, this is where I purchase my items.

Just never happy being here. To dull of a place . Too bad costco is far i have to settle for bjs or sams in the area.

I have now addressed a reoccurring issue with 4 managers. And still no resolve, the managers could care less about the customers, or holding employees accountable. I have had my membership for 3-4 years. I had a membership in the early 2000’s, then cancelled it. I can not go to this store without leaving angry and disappointed. I also have a Sam’s Club membership, I plan to get a Costco’s membership. When my BJ’s membership expires I am done with this company forever. Only thing worse than poor employees, is managers who pretend to fix a problem and don’t. This applies to you Suzi, Heidi, Maria, and store Manager Lisa B. I feel sorry for the first 3 managers, because I saw from the leader, the lack of caring.

I’m grateful to live around the corner from this store. They have everything I need and you can’t beat their gas prices. Workers are always friendly and helpful. It’s never really really busy so it’s a nicer shopping experience then going to Sams or Costco.

I waited in line for 20 minutes to return some milk. I would’ve been waiting much longer had I not asked to speak with the manager. Apparently there is only one line and one associate working for both returns and new memberships. There was no apology. Thank goodness I was only visiting the store with a friend when I purchased the milk. I will keep my Sam’s membership for sure!

This past weekend we bought a pack of ground beef. We took it home put it in the fridge hoping to cook it for dinner the next night. Upon opening the fridge, the entire pack of ground beef had turned brown. So naturally we take it back to bj’s for a refund since something was clearly wrong with the quality. Once we get there we are told they aren’t accepting items back. So i fully understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, but in what world would you take back bad meat to redistribute? All we wanted was a refund. You should try standing behind your product in and out of a pandemic because your company put out something of poor quality. We tried to give Bj’s a chance, guess we’ll continue going to Sam’s.

BJs is our favorite Big-Box Store.This time, we needed some additional help with the items that my wife needed to buy.Jennifer was so very kind and helpful to her.All of the staff that we have met have gone out of their way to help us every time.

I had the temporary membership card and i wanted to try the store out before buying the actual annual membership. I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Jessica. She was rude to the elderly lady that was ahead of us and when it came my turn she spared no expense in her hatred of her job. She is the rudest cashier i have ever encountered. My daughter who is an avid vlogger with over a million subscribers was actually doing a personal shoppers vlog and caught everything on her camera ( yes jessica knew the camera was rolling because even other ppl took out their phones to record her). We proceeded to speak with a mgr afterwards and he did nothing. I will fwd my concerns to corporate because this is not a person that should be in the work of personal customer service. There are too many ppl needing jobs that would be glad to take her place and do a way better job. So to mgmt: you need to put jessica on your stock crew if you are going to continue to let her give your company bad reviews because customer service as a cashier is NOT where she needs to be. #firejessica

Great location, has gas station attached, usually go there every other day. Shelves are always full, very helpful team members. Great product selection.

I love shopping at BJS the prices are great it is so easy to get ahead of budget and start saving for what really matters fast! You will enjoy the wide variety throughout the store. I had called customer service today for the first time for a bottling problem of product of which I purchased a case of and they happily sent me a certificate to replace it not just the bottle but the case, now where else would you get such customer care?

Overall, the visit was good. We were able to find everything that we needed except cocktail sauce and an other than small air purifier. With the cocktail sauce, I inquired through one of the employees who advised that it wasnt sold there! Must not be much of a demand, I guess.With the other than small air purifier, must not be much of a demand for that either.The prices are good and the employees were pleasant.

I normally am very pleased with the bakery selection and all looks so appealing. However what is not appealing is seeing flying insects inside the containers of both mini and regular size muffins twice in the last couple of weeks. Not to mention my purchase of very reasonably priced apple cider doughnuts and after biting into one for breakfast found 2 pieces of hair. I also purchased a large decorated cookie a few months back and to have it fall apart when cut which clearly indicated it was stale or previously frozen. I brought it to the attention of a bakery employee on a return trip only to have her reply to me sorry about that and walk away. This was merely the reason I didnt bother bringing attention to the insects and hair mentioned above.

Ok check out my sons Birthday Cake It’s not rocket science but boy it tough to hire good people. Congrats to the BJ’s bakery. L👀K more closely then I did when I picked it up. “21TH” then they couldn’t even cross the “t” or dot the “I”Scared to even try how it tastes.

First time shopping here as a member because we received a discount to join. There are a LOT of different items to purchase and we spent about 3 hours shopping and still didnt see everything. I would definitely say items purchased using their coupon results in a significant savings; however, we spent almost $300 when we didnt set out to do so. The deals are worth it but, because youre buying in bulk, the end costs are quite high. Just food for thought for a newbie shopper. Store was very clean, well laid out, and staff was friendly and helpful.

Decent prices. Moderate selection. Coupon books, flyers, and digital coupons make membership worthwhile. The occasional gas discount promotions dont hurt either. My only complaints revolve around the customers: learn to park, free samples are not a lunch buffet, and dont randomly stop in the aisles without pulling over to the side to let others pass.

What happen to the 20$ off after you spend a certain amount ?? Now it’s spilt in 2 so we have to shop more?

The tire center is awful. I had a flat tire that needed fixing. I called several times from my car on the way there to get a price, but no one picked up the phone. When I finally did get there, no one was in the waiting area or the garage to be found for at least 15 minutes and when someone did finally walk in he had a McDonald’s bag and drink, put it down behind the desk and said he’d be right back, and never came back. I had to call customer service inside BJs to get them to page someone to come help. Finally an older mechanic walked in to say that didn’t have time to help me get the tire plugged. I ended up driving my car, on a donut, back to where I live in Orange city, to a local tire place who charged me only $20 and had took care of my tire in 15 minutes. I’ll never use BJs again for any sort of tire issues.

If you shop before 5PM, they have a guy standing there selling windows who will harass you while youre on the way out. They will act like theyre entitled for you to acknowledge them. This is very annoying. They also took out the snack bar about a year ago. Cant get something to eat anymore. Some items wont scan at the register.

Not so good. The place is totally understaffed. You have to wait if you need help. If you cant find something you are out of luck. Tried to buy a coffee. Machine was broken. Ugh.

My wife and I went to BJs for the first time this past weekend. We went to try out a 60 day membership to see if we would like to join. We are also members of Sams Club. I must stay I like BJs much better. The store was cleaner and a little less chaotic. We went because we have a new born and are constantly buying diapers and wipes. They had the best price around that we could find for 700 wipes. Lets just say we will be joining BJs and not renewing out Sams membership.

I work up the road from this location, however, I do not live in the area so I do not have a membership. Today, while running some work errands, my truck began to sputter and I realized I was running out of gas. I have been having issues with the float and usually compensate until I can have it repaired, however, today I was pulling a trailer loaded with metal and didnt allow for that. I missed the first turn for your location, however, made the second and thought I was going to make it to the pump when my truck shut off. I let it coast and came very close, but not close enough to get the pump to reach. I was very frustrated (I have never let that happen) and embarrassed. I was also a bit irritated with myself for not keeping a gas can in my truck, knowing Ive been having issues. Normally, if you ask a gas station if they have something you can put gas in, they say they will sell you a gallon jug for 3 times the normal price. I didnt know what to expect, but I went to the window where I met the kindest lady named Jackie. I asked if she had anything I could put gas in and she gladly helped me and let me borrow her gallon container. I filled it and put it in my truck and then pulled up to the pump. She assisted me in getting the pump to work (since I am not a member) and was as friendly as could be the entire time. I wasnt really blocking anything, however, it was busy and people can be very impatient and there was some honking going on. (Sorry for the ruckus)!!! Jackie kept her cool the entire time and a smile on her face. She asked me if I needed anything else and then went about helping other customers. She seemed genuinely happy to be there and to be doing her job, which Im sure requires a lot of running back and forth and patience with customers. She is an asset to your company and she deserves accolades for the assistance she provided to me today. Thank you, Jackie!! You were a Godsend!

Im not one to complain but when you plan a teip ro get in amd out... Paper coupons ready. App coupons clipped this morning... So why is it the app doesnt work??? None of the coupons came off, so they had to go thru the add and pull every coupon themselves, then a coupon I clipped on tje app this morning, they couldnt find... Nice!!!! Why put out the coupons or the app??? A business that do whatever they want and is to big to fail... Will be rethinking my membership next year

Wonderful friendly staff. Prices are great and selection is above average. Also not as crowed as Sams so its easy to get in and out.

Huge and good choices. I like that the brands are mostly predictable so I can plan my list. Plus they offer and accept coupons.

Im from Baltimore, and we went there staight from the Sanford train station.She immediately got the picture, and helped me meet my exact needs perfectly.She even had me go outside with 3 lens choices to make me really sure about what colored lens would be right for me.She was very good about answering every question I had, and being sure I understood her.THANK YOU!!

We placed an order and call customer care and it seems they dont know what they doing.i called and had the order placed and they order the wrong thing.i was kind of ok with it.so I called again and this time the customer service said it will get there when it get there . He has no control over the truck or mail which I said I dont work for bj.the whole entire experience was awful.

Ive changed from a Sams shopper to a BJs shopper....quality is equal but BJs appears to have a larger selection, a deli for sliced cheese and meat..... Gives and takes coupons......I like that.!....lot!

Went to the tire center and the guys were very helpful and took the time to explain everything with some issues I was having with my vehicles TPMS so that I could understand fully.

I cant speak for every BJs location out there, but despite tempting offers from Sams Club and Costco, we keep renewing our membership because of this location.Its not perfect, the optical department, for example, is smaller than Costcos. BJs brand is probably not as developed at the Kirkland brand. Still, there is plenty of solid items and at good prices. BJs also has a generous credit card that give 5% cash back in the store with their top membership option, which quickly pays for the membership (I dont think there is another whole club with a card this generous).The best thing about BJs is the employees. The people here seem legitimately happy to help the customers (Sams had good employees too, but it was always understaffed and Costcos employees can be borderline-rude from my personal experience in this area). Theyre always well wishing and helpful. Ive never had a bad experience with an employee in the multiple years that Ive shopped here.One other thing I love is theyre not PC. The lady standing at the exist said Merry Christmas to me this past season. I loved it! Even if you dont celebrate Christmas, in my opinion, theres nothing wrong with those who do to be merry about it and wish you a merry time as well. With all the PC business going around, its nice to see that they let employees wish people a good time based on what theyre celebrating rather bending over for an overly sensitive small group that sucks the joy out of everything. Agree, disagree, its refreshing to me that this BJs store does this and contributes to my renewal decision.

The BJs tire center has the worst customer service. When you call them they never pick up, trying to get the simplest things done takes forever and everything takes multiple visits. It’s hard to get in touch, there is such a long waiting time, and if you try to get a tire rotation they are never available. Overall, it’s really hectic and not at all customer satisfactory.

They have fresh frozen meats at the freezer.

I walked into this place and they have a separate section for alcohol. Their prices are similar to other wholesale stores but you dont need a membership to buy alcohol. If you walk in and buy something, other than alcohol without a membership, you are charged a 15% surcharge.

Girlfriend ordered tires. Told they would be there by Friday or Monday at latest. Eight days later, and still driving on spare, she went in and they still werent there. Went somewhere else. Worse part was they made her pay ahead of time to order the tires.
