I gave one star because I had to. Im moving and I called to stop service I was told to return my equipment to a Spectrum location or a UPS store. I went to a Spectrum location because it was closer and no line. It took them a few minutes to even acknowledge me. They tried to turn me away and send me to UPS. I explained customer service said I can do either or and the young lady said it’ll be 20 minutes. I said I’d wait as I’m already here. A few minutes later a gentleman came out and literally would not take my equipment return and turned me around to take it to UPS. There were only 3 customers, including me, in the store. They certainly could have helped me. He said “let me at least get the door for you” as they turned me away. I was never rude or argumentative, I was shocked at the poor customer service. I was certainly considering switching my cellular service from a company I’ve been with for over 20 years. I will not and I will not be using their other services either.
I was told over the phone by spectrum that I could return my old modem to a spectrum store. I tried to return the modem and was told they do not accept return equipment at that store. I then called spectrum back by phone explained that the store was not accepting the modem. Lilly from spectrum customer service then placed a note on my account that the store was refusing to take the modem along with their company policy stating you can return your equipment to a store. Then I was directed to leave it on the counter and take a picture which I did. If a store manager reads this please train your employees correctly on your own company policy.
The store itself was fine and the employees there at the store were good.But NEVER AGAIN will I deal with spectrum as a company. Extremely disappointed and shocked at how they treat costumers who decide to cancel their account.I canceled my internet account back in February 2021. I asked the agent if I needed to return the box. She said no just in case I wanted to come back.Fast forward to July 2021, I check my credit score and there is a negative mark from a collection agency for unpaid equipment at $59....I was furious. Spectrum never sent a letter, notice or phone call to let me know to return the box.Thats just awful practice.The funny thing is, I was actually thinking of switching back.NOT ANYMORE... NEVER AGAIN...
Your associate that helped me earlier this afternoon was little to no help with my situation. I was told directly from your billing department to come in the store for assistance with my issue and Nathan was very quick to turn me away stating that your office could not help and I would have to call billing even after I explained to him that I was told to go in person. He later steps away from the booth without saying anything to me and returns not even five minutes later saying he called the supervisor and stated that they would be unable to help. I got in touch with a billing supervisor afterwards that informed me that your store was very much capable of assisting me but it appears like it was an inconvenience to you. My experience at your store today made me decide to cancel my services with you and I am relieved to have done so. I have experienced nothing but disappointing internet and customer service with Spectrum. I highly recommend seeking service elsewhere. I hate to post such a lengthy review but unfortunately you are unable to call the store directly to speak to management.
Ryan and Casey were super helpful when I asked all my questions, my bill jumped up 20$ and they were able to explain what happened and correct the issue! They also exchanged my old wifi box for a new one! Thank you guys for all your help!
Horrible cellular service. Do not go with spectrum READOnce phone was paid off my phone just shut off and my iCloud password was changed.. called spectrum and they told me to call Apple..Apple said it’s spectrum problem because phone number was linked to another account.. lol.. spectrum literally messed my phone up on purpose to get a new phone. Spectrum customer service was rude when I tried to cancel service because they are trash. Lol.Went with at&t and they took care of me..
Customer service personnel lacked personal skills. They had no greeting, no smile or excitement, just looked at his watch constantly like it was time to go home. I could not wait to leave.
Customer service is ridiculous. Brought back equipment that has been sent to me twice. Thought it would be an easy process. Boy oh boy was i wrong. As a new customer you would think they would want to impress me. Nope not the gentlemen men that stopped me dead in my tracks. With a very heavy box in my hands. Lesson learned. The 1 star is for spectrum. Mobile service as a whole. This includes assurant, the insurance company. They work together soo they are accountable together. Ive waited a month for my replacement for insurance. Called more times than I can count. No tracking, no updates, them I finally get something after just shy of a month saying another 3 weeks. None of them can help. Curtis at this store, was THE FIRST and ONLY person in all that time of all the people I spoke to on the phone and driving all over to other stores burning gas and time, he was the only person that actually helped, gave information nobody else did, and provide actual service. Worst store Ive ever been in, went to disconnect my services and they would not disconnect it so I had to call cust service and the lady that helped me was amazing took care of my issue and she even heard the clerk tell me he couldnt disconnect my serivce.
Clerk was great, but corporate service staff did not know what to do.

Spectrum just keeps increasing their service prices. They also never let you know the price has been increased then hit you with late fees. Their internet price is not reasonable at all. Way too expensive... Unfortunately its a duopoly between spectrum and at&t; one worse than the other!

Sign up for their internet if you like rebooting multiple times a day. How is the internet this unreliable when I only have a smart TV, phone and laptop connected in a small space? HORRIBLE.
I ended service yesterday and I was informed in-store that they can accept my returned equipment but cannot give me a receipt confirming that it’s returned. This makes no sense. Why can you accept equipment but can’t mark that it’s been returned in the system? I think it’s just poorly-trained employees. A manager was able to print a receipt that shows date of return for me after I demanded talking with a manager.
Great customer service for both sales AND tech support all hours of the day and night. Dan spent lots of time finding me the best deals and very patiently making sure I understood. He was extremely pleasent; knowledgeable, respectful, courteous and professional.
So you have to check in and wait for them to call you, I went in here just to return the equipment because I moved and didn’t want to transfer service so I just cancelled it. Right so, there’s 2 gentlemen helping customers and 2 other gentlemen like what seemed to me were just standing there looking around. I was sitting there for 10 minutes before being called, the man was super nice, asked what he could do, I handed the bag of equipment over and said I just need to drop off, he asked if I had cancelled the service already, I told him yes as I paid my last bill and cancelled over the phone, and he was like okay then that’s it, you’re set.Now, the only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because It kind of irritated me since literally just had to hand one of them the bag and leave. I felt awkward and out of place sitting there waiting while 2 workers just kinda looking around the room the whole time. That’s all, other than that I was happy with their service.
Saturday 1pm. It was pretty busy and there were few customer service reps. Took about 40 mins. to get called. But it wasn’t too painful of a wait. Plus, my question got answered right away. Thanks, y’all! :-)P.S.: pro tip — if you’re a new customer and want to pick up the equipment instead of waiting for FedEx to deliver it, go to the store ASAP. I let too much time go by after hiring the service over the phone and, by the time I got to the Spectrum store, I had already gotten a notice that my equipment had shipped; hence making it impossible for the store reps to help me out. Gotta wait for FedEx now.

Im so glad this has three stars! Because it is truly the most horrendous and sickening phone service Ive ever had the HONOR of using. I dont understand how it takes six minutes to get through a robot speaking about the most minimal issues as Im SURE the reason someone would call is for a more complex problem. I am signed up for unlimited data, yet I get slow buffers midway through each month because I supposedly use too much! Get it together people. This location in general has awful customer service and should be ashamed of themselves.

Spectrum is an absolute joke. The customer service is terrible as you will be on hold for an 1+ hours any time you call. After a year they will increase your bill because you were on a “promotion”. Company is a joke and rip off.
Stood in line for a long time waiting my turn, I had an important call that lasted 30 seconds they called my name ONCE and skipped my turn in line and Rachel responded I called your name several times! Which is an absolute lie. No manager intervened and there I stood longer. There was another gentleman in front of me who got skipped as well. This place needs help.

Extremely rude, no Customer Servide. I brought in the cable box to return. There was no one in the first line, yet he refused to help me, saying he has another customer coming in??? Why not helping the customer that is in the store now? I had to wait in the second line. They will not talk to you if you dont have a mask. It is how you ask people, not in a demanding tone: Maam, you have to have a mask on. Why not putting up a clear partition.
When Spectrum moved to a new location so did there attitude they used to be kind respectful service oriented Now unbelievable rude bullying laughingin your face NO MORE SERVICE and when you tell them that they tell you that they dont care. I told them that HULU is a nice replacement for Spectrum and only a fraction from what I was paying Spectrum so keep it up Spectrum and your arrogant behavior will be your downfall

I visited this store yesterday, Sunday, Feb 16, to purchase a new screen protector and have it installed on my note9 because the one on it cracked the night before. When I was greeted by one of the representatives and made my request, I was told that they wouldnt be able to help me. Why cant you help me, I asked. She said that nobody there was capable of putting it on. I saw three representatives and only one of them was with a customer. Thats absurd! I then made a 20 minute drive to Orange City and was in and out in 10 mins with a new tempered glass on my phone. Thanks again, Raphael! Sanford location needs to better train their employees.
Ive been with Spectrum (formerly Bright House) for over 20-years. Ive only had positive experiences. Obviously Ive had cable boxes and modems burn up over the years, but they always replace them. Both this store and the old one the people are friendly and on-point. Most of the time there is no wait, but they do have an iPad to sign in on if there is one. The store on WP Ball is spotless and looks like a phone store. Five stars.
The worst customer service and worst internet imaginable. Internet would shut off for days, I would call support and 6 different technicians couldn’t solve the problem. Had scheduled appointment for technician to come to my house between 9 and 10 am and he never showed up and I never received a call. Absolute joke. I switched to xfinity
WORST STORE EVER . Didnt greet me when I walked in all employees leaned over on the tables!! I wish I could give a negative rating! No customer service, racist, incompetent employees!! Not going into detail but the corporate office was notified of the discrimination I experienced in this store this morning from a male employee (Jose).
I wish I could give Spectrum a negative rating of minus 5 (- 5) but the system will not let me. Spectrum is the worst TV and internet provider that I have dealt with. Except for one technical person all employees I contacted when I had issues were rude, unprofessional and careless. AND INCOMPETENT. I had to make 10 trips to one store before they gave me all the right equipment. On the phone employees routinely told lies to cover up their mistakes. Avoid Spectrum if you can.

Quinetta Kirby is FANTASTIC and a joy! She is VERY knowledgeable in her work and the rest of the staff are great! Very fun office to visit! However I wish I could say the same for her higher up, Suzanne Dennison. Just rude and kept interrupting every staff member while they were servicing customers. It was as if she was busy playing “the monitor” instead of letting her employees do the job they’re great at! Hope she learns to trust her staff the way Spectrums customers does.
Are you guys incompetent? I went in there yesterday to return my two boxes. The guy took ONE of them and told me I didn’t need to return the modem. So I called spectrum because I knew he was wrong. The next day I had to drive back and be late for work so I wasn’t charged. You need more training big dude.
We moved to Central Florida recently and are very disappointing with the lack of quality, high price of the offers. We had Comcast before, which we did not like much when we did not know how much worst others such as Spectrum can be.

If I could give no stars I would! The two women working today (25JUN19) completely ignored me. It was 8:01pm. It was raining and I was just trying to get info on making sure my old equipment wasnt going to be charged. They turned off the lights. One of the women said to the other something about me being at the door. They both looked and then proceeded to act like I was not there. Never have I seen two people so rude! I served this country for ten years in the Navy. I work in customer service. If these two women worked for me they would be fired. I can understand that people have things to do and want to go home, but are you kidding me by one minute and you see me with equipment in hand getting rained on. Spectrum is horrible! Although the techs are really nice, no one can seem to fix our problem. We have been calling for the past two months, theyve rewired the cable in our house and outside from our box to our house, weve changed out the cable box and still no remedy. They then said it was our TV, so we sent it back to the company & $200.00 laters was told the TV has no problems. No we are being told they do not have any techs to come out for 3-1/2-days! That means we have no TV for the entire weekend! Looking for a new provider!

There are a lot of things I could say about Spectrum, but most people have already expressed their issues. The only recommendation that I have is to not visit this location. Not because of the staff who works there who try their hardest everyday, but because of the management who fails to give the support to their staff that is desperately needed. If you come into the store and see Suzanne Denison, the area manager, at the location. Just leave, because she has no idea how anything actually works and she will just hover over you and her employees and make everyone highly uncomfortable while giving inaccurate information and not allowing her employees to correct her. If the employees ever give you bad service, I can assure you. That its not their fault. Its the fault of the stressful situation there inn every single day with management expecting more than what is possible on pay that is subpar and almost laughable.
Update, clean, inviting place. Nice friendly knowledgeable customer service agent, but the deal they offer is too expensive...maybe within a year Ill check them out again

Way to many staff members, lack of common knowledge of their own products. So I walk in for the first time and there are no customers vs. 6 or 7 employees. I ask one question and I was asked if I signed in, I say no, sign in stand there and wait a minute for them to call my name....I had to get wifi for my home with phone service. I installed myself but phone service didnt work. I go back to store 2 days later, and yes again, no customers andcan not be acknowledged til I sign in. Once again I have questions they can not answer, nor did they ask anyone else for any suggestions. So I have a technician show up on Father Day to help, he was exactly on time but he said he no idea why he was there lol. Rant over.

Took the box in to exchange for another one that went ok. But when we got home and hooked it up. She had cut off our wi-fi. We cut our cable off two years ago. We only have internet. Why would anybody want to pay 170.00 a mn. For reruns. Its not worth the price
