Allstate canceled our policy after many years of being a good customer, always paying on time and having 2 homes and 4 cars on their insurance plans. When we filed a claim recently, the second in all the years of having insurance with them, they sent an inspector out twice who told us we had wind damage, then they denied most of the claim and sent out a woman to take pictures of the outside of our home without notice to us. I saw a woman out in the yard walking around with a camera. Then they sent a notice to us that our insurance was being terminated because we had clutter in our gutters. Nothing else. Years of good standing with this company.We live in a pine forest. To keep from having gutter issues we purchased screens a few years ago to cover all our gutters to keep leaves and pine straw from clogging them! Our house is very raised off the ground and is two stories. Unless she sprouted wings there was no way she could see into the gutters. This is an affront to people like us who follow the rules and pay our bills. We are treated with total disrespect by companies like this one. I was warned by several friends who told me about their negative experiences with Allstate once they filed a claim. I should have listened and I hope you will save yourself the anger and frustration we feel. It is just wrong to treat people like this.Once i posted this on Facebook, people came out of the woodwork with examples of how they had been negatively treated by Allstate insurance. Everything will be fine unless you actually make a claim no matter how long you have been with them. Buyer beware. I had to give one star for the system to allow me to post my complaint. I would have given them 0 stars. Even their site is rigged. I am steamed...

Would be a 5 star but there is one receptionist that always has nothing but attitude. Thankfully I have only delt with her 4 times in the 7years I have been here.
