This planet fitness is awesome. Ive been to a lot of different ones all over and its not just cause I work here its because this is the one I go to the most and Ive never had a problem.

My legs are amputated just happened in the year 2020 and since the invitations I have gained weight probably from sitting in my wheelchair I would really recommend Planet Fitness because when I called the workers there were very helpful I even got to come and do a tour of the business with them they have a special Fitness person who is well knowledge on how and what to do with handicapped people like myself who can be my personal trainer I had a lot of questions because I didnt know exactly what to do and I dont like doing it alone Ill be lazy to be honest and not do it at all so I much really enjoy Planet Fitness and thank them for all their help I would highly recommend to anyone thats kind of my and this is the Planet Fitness in Sandusky Ohio out by Sandusky Mall out on route 250, Milan Road

Sandusky PF is managed well. Phone app integration with this location is fantastic. I use the crowd meter on the app to determine my workout time.

Appreciate all they are doing to keep us safe while were trying to remain healthy. I just finished 4 days in a row and only saw one guy on one of those visits who appeared to be defying the mask policy. I wished they had addressed that issue.

It was fine just older than the club I usually go to.

So I got a black card membership around 3/4 months ago. I only came once due to school and work, also with covid it’s hard to workout with my mask on due to my heart condition. They charged me which is fine. I don’t care. But I came in to cancel my membership because as I stated I only came ONCE. & the people were rude they was a year fee or something that I guess was suppose to charge my card soon and they said I had to pay that before I canceled. I stated I only came there one time and I don’t understand why I should pay it. It was $98, The manager took off something and brought it to $66. Still didn’t think I should it, but I did anyway just so they don’t try to keep charging me when I’m not even going. 3 stars because yes the place is nice the people are nice, but 3 stars because I shouldn’t have to pay anything when I haven’t been in MONTHS!!

Noticing a trend where people hangout by the bench presses, and not use them. Not enough space for everyone, probably won’t renew my membership and look at using the rec center in Norwalk instead

I love the different equipment and setup at this location. Very different from my home base. The black spa signup is super easy after The woman who worked this past Saturday told me how to do it. I even cancelled my tbe session, by accident, and she joked around with me as she reset it. Did not get her name but kudos to practically working by yourself and still maintaining your amazing customer skills

I’ve had a Black Card Membership since I’d say about June and I really love coming here. The staff are nice and so is the manager! All the equipment is set up nicely and implemented in a way that if one didn’t understand how to use the machine, there are people willing to help and even a guide on the side of the machine! Drinks come in handy and merch is cool too. Overall, really good gym and I look forward everytime to coming here 😁

Very nice place open 24/7 the later u go less ppl . Its huge in side .also a member ship that includes all is only 20$ a month .u have too have a credit /depit card for payment.to come out once a money .they dont take cash . They even have tanning beds. U can tan every 24hours..I think its called the black membership plan..nice place...

My brother has been a member at planet fitness going on 7 years now. Him, myself and 10 family and friends have decided to cancel our memberships because of Katie one of the employees there. Thank her for losing 10+ members and I will make sure nobody else we know gets a membership there.

This is a good gym with good equipment. The facilities are clean and the equipment is kept up to date. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I will add, though, that it can get a little warm during the summer months. My home gym is in Las Vegas and it is very hot outside but comfortable inside. This location keeps the temperature a little warm for my liking. Still, it is a good gym.

I am a member and the gym is great but the limited hours are terrible. It would be great if they would extend there hrs to 1230 am to give people like me an option to come after my shift ends at my job. Getting there early morning is impossible with my schedule and grandson. Stinks cus i might have to look for a more accommodating gym.

I love this gym its clean and lots of equipment with directions on how to use proper. Staff is extremely helpfull and its truly judgement free.

Best place to exercise

Besides the ceiling fans not running and the rude staff, the new mandatory mask requirement while working out is the last straw for this dump. Youre healthier (and wealthier) working out at home and outside.

Amazing services for what they charge and the employees make it feel so welcoming because of how friendly they are! I especially like coming in when kaity or Mitchell are there because they always answer any question I have about their equipment very accurately and quickly

I have been a member since 2016 the Sandusky, Ohio gym is terrible there tag line You Belong to a gym where nothing ever gets fix if something is wrong with a piece of equipment they stick a sign on it if you ask if it will ever get fixed they tell you they called about it. They got all new equipment in late August and its never worked right all these new machines shut off at random when you are working out on them. I had a treadmill shut down when I was running thank goodness I grabbed on before I went down. They just dont care! Oh and by the way if you like to watch T.V. half the T.V.s never work. Oh well you get what you pay for.

I was on mid winter break with my family at Castaway Bay. I came to this Planet Fitness from 2/19 and 2/20 for my morning workout. I am very pleased to see the place is clean and the staff on Midnight and Days were very nice. So when I am back again there in Sandusky for another vacation I know where I will be going for my workout. Keep up the good work!

I go here multiple times a week staff learns who you are fast and are very friendly and everyone keeps to themselves no need to feel self conscious here

What an amazing bang for your buck. Just the tanning alone makes the $22 a month worth the price. Ill be in Texas and Mississippi this month and will still be able to use my membership.

I just love working out there with my boyfriend. We can do our workout without waiting for machines to become available which is great. After my workout n shower I love the Hydro massage bed it is fantastic for relieving sore muscles. Im glad I joined and got the black membership.

Its been so long since I updated my review! A lot has changed in the year+ since my last review. The equipment and facility is the same, but the crass and uncomfortable staff members have been removed. The current team ranges from okay to great.Whats nice is that even at this mega gym level, the people can get to know you. I love being able to walk in, smile at the staff, and get to the locker room. Really makes the gym more home like.Id give five stars, but unfortunately there can still be improvements with getting people on track with dress code, cleaning their equipment, clearing off their weights, and general gym behavior. Sometimes I end up cleaning equipment before and after I use it.

Terrible employees. Please find new ones

I just joined this club 3 weeks ago and they told me they had a personal trainer at my disposal for FREE...I tried 1 class with John D. and it moved me. Ive trained with him 5 days a week for just over 3 weeks now and Ive lost 11 lbs. The only other changes Ive made is that Im eating healthier by avoiding a lot of processed foods and Im not eating after 6pm.

Dont be intimidated by the other people working out. Just go and do your own thing. Also, the best time to go is either really early or later in the night.

I enjoy this PF, it’s clean and I’ve never had an issue with the staff being judgmental and anything but friendly. Even the guy who gave me a tour when I joined was knowledgeable and didn’t hesitate to answer my questions.

I joined your gym in Sandusky Ohio about 2 weeks ago. I have such a good time working out and tanning at this location. The fitness Instructor Brenden Hales has been such a great help with my limitations I have, he took time to show me what equipment would be the best for me to help with more range of motion and strength where I need help.I am always welcomed and greeted with a smile and glad youre here. The staff is always willing to help or work with anything I need help with. They are always friendly and pleasant. I have told a lot of people about this gym and the advantages of joining.

(Notice: this happened a couple of years ago. I simply stopped attending and never renewed my membership; no one ever felt the slight curiosity to know why!) Terrible, no support whatsoever from the people who are supposed to advise you when you need help. I used to go to PF at 5 am because I work very early. I set an appointment to see John Donald who would advise me on what equipment to use. The first time he was supposed to be there at 5:00 am; I waited until 5:30 and had to leave. The second time he was also late and there were several people waiting. He couldnt possibly give the necessary attention to each customer. He gave me some vague and meager instructions. The place is noisy and they do not care about customers. Absolute loss of money and fat chance that Im going to visit this place again.

Planet Fitness is incredible everybody is friendly what the staff is the people that work out mostly keep to themselves which I like you just go in there do your business take a shower and leave which I like no chitchat just get what you need done concentrate on your work out great place

They have alot of equipment to choose from and the patrons do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Unfortunately they lack personnel to help teach new people how to use equipment.

Always clean, which says quite a bit. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Love our Planet Fitness.....very clean, all the employees are always friendly and even remember me and my therapy routine, lol. Absolutely love the therapy, hydra bed, massage chair, total body enhancement and stand up tanning bed in the warm months, nothing to complain about here. The reason for the four star is because i wish they had squat racks, dont like using smith machines, not enough mobility. But all in all a very nice place.

Clean space, a lot of equipment in great condition. Quiet... And no grunting so far!

Very nice clean Club. I noticed that almost everyone there cleans their equipment after use and adhere to some kind of dress policy. there was some pretty Buff muscle men working out there but they were wearing t-shirts and they were actually friendly. I get so sick of Planet Fitness telling me that there is no gymtimidation yet I find it at most locations. Not much of a problem here. I wont be back very often though I dont come through Sandusky much.

I just started going to the Gym, this is the first I have ever been to and I absolutely love this place! The staff is great, friendly, helpful, And they keep the place very clean! So happy I made this decision!

For the past 3 years Ive spent time in about 10 different Planet Fitness locations. Of them all, the Sandusky location is by far the cleanest, best kept and most inviting! Its also a huge plus that their lockerroom is large and clean too!

They have all the equipment you need to succeed, an their hours work for anyones schedule. All thats needed is your commitment to achieve your personal goals.
