Extremely kind and helpful. Thank you Laura!
Absolute atrocious useless customer service when trying to simply talk to a live person via usps phone numbers!!! They make it nearly impossible with their idiotic maze of circuitous phone tree automatic idiot robot that refuses to simply give us to a real live person to talk to. F-!!!!!!!!
It’s been over a week and they haven’t given my package to fedex still all my son wanted was some new scooter thing for his birthday which is Tuesday the 10th please if you see this please just send the package with my name on it all I want is to make my some happy
The PO Box hours were reduced because of evening crime. Not my problem, get cameras, post a guard ... but dont make me pick up my mail during normal business hours.Unbelievable, the access hours are why I got a po box from the USPS.
Nice staff. Always pleasant and helpful. Thanks
I love this post office. The people have always been so helpful. There is plenty of parking in the back.
Ive been to this post office many times and usually there is always a big line, so I just let the horribly slow service roll off cuz its the closest to my house and I dont have a car. Today there was no one before me and I was the first costumer, and I was happy until I had the same guy as usual. Usually the same two people working there. I was shipping international and he explained the risk of this and I said I understand and still wanna ship it. He decided to get super negative on me mailing something expensive overseas and then sudden try telling me I cant mail it without tracing priority, then kept bringing things up to stop me from doing it. Then I firmly told him his not being helpful about me trying to ship this item the best way possible no matter how much it costs. He then last minute decided to not authorize my item telling me I need some approval but would not tell me how to go about it and what it even was. I had papers signed up and everything ready to mail and of idea there ended up being a huge line behind me because of it. He then basically kept telling me to go to fed ex and mail something that could have been done there. He didnt wanna deal with it and was just the most negative and unhelpful service Ive ever received. By the way, he knew I was on a limited time and didnt have time to go to fed ex. This time was the last straw for me and I will take the bus and go out of my way to go elsewhere.
People are os mean to post office people! I go here all the time and the people who work here are always nice, helpful and bored of my questions but so what? They always help me find the box I need and tell me how to ship my stuff in the cheapest way. And they never laugh at me when I come to pick up a package and they say for the 100th time there is no pickup here, you have to go to the other location. Darn you USPS tricking me again! I have also never been in line for more than 5 minute here which is pretty spectacular.
It is located in a safe clean business area of San Rafael CA. Open on Saturdays until 1:00 PM. I come here on Saturdays (open Until 1:00 PM) when I have not been able to get to my local USPS during Mon-Fri to send important last minute things. Expect to stand and wait in line for several minutes. There is a shortage of staff because of government budget cutbacks to USPS so bring a good attitude and patience. When one of the regular Saturday staff retired he was not replaced so the remaining staff do the best they can. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. There is short term parking at the rear of the building which is checked regularly by the Meter Police so be sure not to park there too long to avoid an expensive parking ticket. I am glad this USPS location provide a Saturday option for mailing services. The Saturday outdoor mail pickup time from the blue mail drop boxes on the street curb is 1:15 PM. I see that some reviewers have left negative feedback for poor service. Those people should vote for politicians who legislate for better govt services instead of tax breaks for the rich.
Great place, I found a nickel on the ground and the postman stole it from me, how rude! Would not come here again.
The staffers here are the sweetest in the world, but have been hit hard by the cutbacks at the USPS. When one of the few employees retired, they did not replace him. However, those that remain work doubly hard and try to move the lines as quickly as possible. Not always possible at lunch and near holidays.I hope that with all the e-commerce now using the USPS, this poor outlet will get a break and be given some more staffers. Theyve talked of closing it, which would leave downtown San Rafael without a branch. So instead of bashing, we should be lobbying for this branch! They might not be as fast as one would like (and I would know), but they are super nice and trying their best in a difficult situation.
The people here on the counter are very proficient in but they do I just rented a box there and they were kind courteous and very helpful
I had my mail held and when I picked it up they gave me someone elses held mail as well as my own. When I asked for a direct phone number to this post office I was given what turned out to be a fax #! The 800 # had a wait time of one hour!
Bad data and bad location. Not correct on any count.
The worst usps office...
One worker- super slow!
Good
The worst
Quick
Lame and unfriendly ... as in Germany
