I would recommend six stars if possible. Heather was wonderful to work with, and her suggestions during the design process were wise. Working with her was a pleasurable experience, more like a good partner than just a contractor. The ring turned out better than I expected so how much more could I be impressed. Not soon afterwards I went back with another ring design that is now in process.

Heather is the absolute best. She went over and above with how she helped me with my custom designed ring, and it came out more beautiful than I imagined it could. Villa Jewellers is totally a Gem of a place, and anyone wanting a one-of-a-kind experience should really check them out. I was able to get the ring I wanted in time to propose to my girlfriend on her birthday today (11/14) at the top of Mt. Tamalpais.150% pleased with how the ring came out and everyone loves it.

Charged $30.00 extra for damage done by them.Banned from further business.Questioned our intelligence.Says the Law is wrong.No customer service.My wife and I went to Villa Jewelers (San Rafael, Ca.) to get our wedding rings resized to smaller fits. The woman clerk confirmed our preferred sizes for comfort and evaluated our rings for condition. She informed us that the diamonds were well set. My diamonds are bezel set and my wifes are held by prongs. The clerk assured us that the diamonds were well set. She pointed out that my bezels were much better because prongs can loosen over time and may need maintenance over time.Long story- short, the clerk called us to say that the rings were sized but a diamond fell out from my bezel and it will be a $30.00 extra charge to fix. After I refused she agreed to fix it but said we would not do business again.My wife and I returned later to pick up our rings and the jeweler confronted us stating that it not his fault, he has been in business for 50yrs and never had a problem. I said that by law I should get my property back in the same condition that I gave it to them aside from the work performed. He said the law is not always right and since we dont want to learn anything we can go. We paid the $95.00 for the resizing and left EXTREMELY unhappy and dissatisfied.BTW: My wife has 2 MA degrees + Phd- Berkeley / I am a Emergency Medical Technician and Professional Commercial DriverWe would NEVER recommend VILLA JEWELERS for anyone.
