Its rare to find a person so utterly capable in their profession, so knowledgeable about their chosen field, and so deeply motivated to get the job done right. He will go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service.

Rob really went above and beyond. He was willing to accommodate my time constraints and got the work done faster than any other mechanic Ive been to. He was willing to at least try to explain what the problem was (most mechanics just tell you what part needs replacing, not why it needs it). He was also budget conscious and even called me after I left the shop to make sure everything was running smooth.

After a long search for a place that would install a snorkel onto our Jeep, we contacted our friends at Rack and road in San Rafael, Chris told us to check with Rob at Mt Tam Motors. Rob was super nice gave us a quote and we dropped it off the next day in the morning . Got the job done right and even install our door hinge steps. Very happy and we will return for future upgrades to our JKUR . Thank you Rob!

These guys are like car whisperers. They have always diagnosed my car problem correctly the first time, everytime.They have done a couple dozen repairs to my five cars, and they have never been wrong about the diagnosis of any problem.
