The busses are always clean, and they have always provided great service for a reasonable price.

Love this company. They make getting to/from SFO so easy and affordable. Plus they have GREAT customer service. I left my AirPods case on a bus a week ago. They are super small so I figured I’d submit a form asking if anyone found them, but really didn’t expect anything. They called me as soon as he driver looked and found them. Then they held the SR office open past 4:30pm so I could come get the case. Really appreciated the effort they put in!

This is regards to the driver only, he drove very recklessly. Safely should be the first priority. I saw the driver driving recklessly and make a last min turn to bay bridge bus toll, almost looked liked the bus would have tipped. Switching lanes and almost hitting my car 5 min before that incident. I am sure its a good company, but they need to train the drivers to be careful

No better way get from SFO to Marin.

This goes to on call operators! I arrived at the SFO and went outside to the airporter pick up location. I called Marin Airporter right away, the guy on the phone asked me what airline I arrived and told me that the bus is being at the airport picking up passengers and that I should wait around 5-10 mins. So the bus never came after 5-10 mins. I thought maybe I was late. So after an hour later the bus came but this bus only dropped the passengers and the driver told me that I should go downstairs in order to be picked up by airporter. So about an hour I waited at the wrong location - cold, hungry, tired, after a long trip. I mean the operator at least could asked what floor I’m waiting at? Or give some insight that there are different locations, etc. so be aware about location pick ups. (If) next time I’ll consider something else.

This is a great aAirporter option on Anderson Drive in San Rafael. I park in the front facing Anderson. That way I can see the bus arriving. It looks dead at night when the office is closed. However, there is an ATM to get cash for your driver. Its $23 per person children under 12 ride for free with an adult ( limit 2 children) Getting to the airport takes about an hour. Buses run 20 minutes after the hour. Last bus going to Marin from SFO departs at midnight. Initial bus going to SFO at 5:00 AM begins at Hamilton in Novato.

Easiest way to travel to SFO from Marin

Great experience. Clean, sanitized bus. Everyone on board was wearing a mask and sat at least six feet from other passengers. As new passengers boarded, they were carefully to sit away from those already seated (there were only about 8 passengers on the big bus). The driver was courteous and professional, and it was a comfortable ride to the airport.

Waited outside their office in Anderson Dr, bus was on time. Very friendly driver, was so helpful and the ride was an enjoyable one. I was the only passenger to SFO. Would highly recommend Marin Airporter

Fantastic service to and from airport. Always on time. Always friendly drivers, and it certainly beats forcing someone to fight traffic in San Francisco to pick up or drop you at airport. A nominal fee of $23 is well worth the convenience of hopping on in Marin or at airport. I will always use this service.

Have used the Marin Airporter to SFO for 4-5 times a year for the past dozen or so years, and its a wonderful resource. The South Bay and East Bay have nothing comparable--except BART, which is a total nightmare if you have luggage, unless youre in top physical shape.

Thank you for safely transporting my family home this past Saturday evening (6/30/18). They said the driver was courteous, smooth, and professional. Fare from SFO to Novato was $23/person which is very reasonable. They also said your Prevost H3-45 #117 was very clean and comfy. Heres a pic at Novato/Hamilton:

Use the Airporter several times a year. Always deliver great service, safe, with fine equipment; and usually arrives at my destination earlier than expected. A good value that Marin County is fortunate to have!

San Rafael stop is nearly 2 miles away from the town and really inconvenient. So you need to factor in another $10 taxi. This should be made much clearer on the website. The bus was also quite late, which you could blame on traffic or you could run more buses. However, that said, its still the only sensible option if not driving yourself.

This was my first trip using using Marin Airporter and can only reiterate what others have said. The buses were clean and spacious, the drivers pleasant and professional, and the pickup/dropoff times were as promised.

They get you there quickly, so their timing is fine. But its the second time that Ive seen the driver toss bags in storage compartment even after asking to be gentle. I get they need to be quick but slamming luggage just seems rude.

I would like to ask management,, why make 3 stops in southern Marin when you could consolidate and just make Manzanita the ONE stop?? I think you would save time and less inconvenience for the majority of the riders. A lot of times, there’s no one at Seminary and Spencer, but we still have to stop.

The staff are very friendly and accommodative, and the buses very spacious and comfortable. Very pleasant experience!

This review is for the parking. It’s hard to know whether it’s full or not since there’s no one to ask around or signs to let you know. But overall it’s a very convenient place to park for the airporter shuttle.

Used this service on my way from Novato to SFO. Nice, clean, comfy bus. And the driver was very pleasant.

Frustrated that we were able to pay by credit card upon arrival to stop with no issues and then when we arrived to take shuttle back we were told it was cash only and has always been cash only...Had to borrow money from my grandfather to get to the airport and were very embarrased. I dont carry cash when I travel. Interesting that 4 days before it was perfectly fine to pay with a card but has always been cash only. Trip was comfortable and bus was clean. Drivers were both friendly.

The bus drivers are so kind, the bus stop is easy to find, they load your luggage, and its quiet.

Airport shuttle between several points in Marin and SFO. Generally runs pretty close to on-time; the people are friendly, and the price is reasonable, and they have departures twice per hour. Parking in their lot is $6 per day which beats airport prices by a mile (long-term lot at SFO is $25 per day and independents run around $15 or maybe slightly less with coupons). If youre going away for a couple of weeks, it can save a lot of $! Ive been quite satisfied.

Convenient but fairly slow due to the multiple stops in Marin County. Some buses are fairly old. No WiFi or power sockets. Cheap at $22 but they only take cash. They need to upgrade and sell tickets online or at a prepay station art the airport, or take mobile payments.

Driver very helpful

I have had two bad experiences with this company, and will not be utilizing their services again. Notably, rude disgruntled drivers, and poor customer service. I was refused service on at curb because I had a bike, and the second time the bus did not stop at the international terminal for pick ups so I waited 1.5 hours.

Always on time, the driver was friendly and gave great service. This is the best and least expensive way to get to SFO.

This is a solid service with accommodating people. BUT, why is any official business still ‘cash only’ in this day and age? Several tired travelers, including myself, would hop on the bus only to be told about the limitation and realize that they don’t have enough cash on them. Or that they have a $100 bill for which the driver carries no change. There is the option to pay with a credit card at the Anderson station-if your destination happens to be that far. Lots of unnecessary frustration on both sides in the process. Please get an electronic payment system onboard.

Didn’t care for the driver, very rude. At a traffic light he walked to my seat and asked for me to get off the phone lol. I was a bit taken a back, wasn’t talking that loud. Sheesh. Also isn’t it a little dangerous to abandon the drivers seat at a light? If you don’t want people talking, put up signs or something!!

Clean buses good service fair prices

If you need to get from Marin into the airport this cant really be beat. Sometimes they are off schedule a bit but for the price you pay if you can plan accordingly its great. Drivers have always been quite nice. Remember it is CASH only.

4.5 is what I mean. Great reliable service in clean comfortable buses. Ive used them for 20 years for myself and visitors. The half star off is because they are not 24 hours which is a problem if your flight is delayed past midnight.

I catch it at San Anselmo to retrieve and deliver friends to SFO. Comfortable and the drivers want to serve.

More straightforward than I thought the experience would be. I had thought Id have to go in and buy a ticket from the counter so I got there a little early and ditched my friend instead of catching up. Then realized the ticket counter was closed and that you buy the ticket online, which is what my friend thought, but I wasnt sure whether or not to believe her since she just moved here from Australia... Funny thing is Ive used the service two times in the past but it was during very high stress times when I had not gotten to sleep at all so I had forgotten how easy it was. But you just go to a stop get on the bus when the bus driver arrives which is approximately 10 minutes before the departure time they list and pay them $23 cash before they leave and then you go. Then you stop a bunch of times in Marin to pick up other people, but you get to the airport. Everything was on schedule in the view was phenomenal because all Ive lived heard my whole life I never get to be that high up and Im usually driving in traffic which sucks. So this was really nice.

Poor service on the SF to Marin run this morning. Bus was late, but no apology from the driver. Grr.Update- I received a nice reply to this review, so I am upgrading to 4 stars.

Use them every time I travel. Absolutely reliable. Great drivers and friendly service. Tip the drivers, they have a tough job dealing with all the traffic.

I’m appalled. I’m never someone who complains about bad service because I’m usually passive about it. I’ve worked in customer service for over 10 years. But this driver was the most rude person I’ve ever dealt with. I arrive to the Larkspur spot at 6:30 and everything was fine till I arrived at the airport. When we arrived, he took the luggage out (mine being a duffle bag) and threw it in a LARGE puddle. It’s been raining a lot in SF. I told him my bag was now soaking wet and he replied with, “Well yeah, it’s been raining. What do you expect?” I replied with “That’s very rude.” Which he then responded with “Well yeah, you too. You should’ve taken your bag on the bus.” And then continued to yell something at me while I walked off in front of the other passengers. How do you all justify this!? That’s horrible treatment. Now my bag is wet. And it’s a duffle which means my clothing is too.

As of 10/7/2019 Bus service will be discontinued at the San Rafael Transit Center. The New stop will be at the Smith Ranch Road park and ride lot (on the street) not in the LOT. At 5 and 35 minutes after the hour. First bus at 4:05am,4:35am,5:05am,5:35am and so on up to 10:35pm. Buses from Hamilton will be every half hour, Start at 3:55 am, 4:25am, 4:55am, 5:25am, 5:55 am, and so on up to 10:25pm. Hope you like the new times and the new stop. All other stops and times will remain the same with the exception of the Transit Center in downtown San Rafael which is being cut out.

Reliable and easy transportation to SFO airport. These guys take schedules seriously and Ive never seen them late. The buses are comfortable and have a bathroom in the back.

Its perfect its not too expensive its reasonably comfortable and it gets you there in about an hour and 20 minutes

Have been using The Airporter as long as they have been around. They have never disappointed and I have never been late.

The $22 ride from SFO was more luxurious than my $500 flight.

Reliable, on time and clean. Only downsides are 1) They accept cash only. 2) Now the trip from Novato is much longer since all the buses stops in all the stops.My suggestion is to let the Novato bus stops only at the major stops and let the Anderson bus stop at all the stops.

Atrocious service. Missed my flight due to not rerouting during a major accident. The controller knew the situation, was rerouting the bus but then changed his mind. Disgusting. I would have made it in good time had we gone the alternative route. Dont take this service if you want to be sure to make your flight.

Quickest, easiest, most stress-free way to get from Marin to SFO. I always feel like my trip starts once I board the Airporter.

Just tried to get on the Marin airporter. Having a bigger bag (bike) with me, I was courteous and let the other passengers board first. When I went to bring my bike to the cargo bay, the driver tells me hat he has no more room for bags. Despite the bike easily fitting on top of other bags or room easily made by just moving a few bags around which were just tossed haphazardly into the cargo bays. There was also a bay for a different stop that was only 1/2 full. But “that’s for a different stop.”Im don’t recommend relying on these people for a ride after this experience. The driver was very rude and oddly unwilling to simply move a couple of bags to make room.

When the driver picked me up from the airport he asked where I was going and I said Larkspur where my ride was waiting. The driver just went right past the stop. I said to him that he passed my stop and he got angry with me. He wouldnt turn around and wanted me to go through the whole loop and get on another bus to go back. I was so pissed that I just got off at the next stop. Had to cancel my uber and wait for a new one. There were 4 of us on the bus. It shouldnt have been that hard to remember the drop off spots.

I usually love the air porter however had horrible service on the 10:10AM pick up from SR transit center today. When dropping me off the driver had put my bag in the wrong compartment initially and had to retrieve it from the back part of the storage. He was very rude and aggressively threw my bag and others out of the bus in anger. Seriously?

Cheap easy ride to the airport. Would get five stars, of they had wifi on the bus.

To be fair, the buses are great and very comfortable. The 2 stars refer to the bus driver’s rudeness and disrespect - which few times in my life I’ve experienced at this level. I arrived at the exact time th bus is suppose to depart from the Marin Transit - 12:10pm on Sunday. Granted, I should have arrived sooner but didn’t. Finding the bus with its doors closed, I asked the driver to let me in. He grimaced and complained then asked where I was going. Naively, I replied SFO. What came out of his mouth jarred me so badly that it made me wish I had chosen to pay the cost of an Uber to drive me instead: he literally screamed a list of airlines. As if that weren’t enough, I had an important phone call to make and even though I was whispering, he went on speakerphone twice to say i should “keep calls to absolute bare minimum” and when I disnt hang up, he told me to move to the back of the bus. To make things even worse, he later came to the back to scold me for not wearing my seat belt when I had it on (I like safety especially when the driver is this disfuncional).Being a small Latino woman, it’s not the first time I experienced abuse treatment from white older men, but again, that to me crossed a serious line. I’m here writing you from the back of the bus - hurt, angry and in disbelief this could be happening in San Francisco of all places.
