My friend and I came in for a acrylic nail appointment and had to go one at a time and took pretty long although it felt so worth it because my nails are still on and look great after almost over a month! Coming again pretty soon!
I go during non peak times and they always do a great job with my nails, and the pricing is great as well
They are not sanitizing anymore between clients. They still have the clear partitions up between client and worker, but the nail station I was at did not sanitize the area after I was done and took the next client right away. I did not receive a hand massage with the nail work I got, nor were my cuticles trimmed. They just put on the nail and that was it.Also seems like they are only accepting Venmo or cash.....
They did an ok job on my nails. Honestly, every time Ive gotten dip powder, its included a manicure and thats what I was hoping to receive as dip is a polish. However, they didnt do a manicure and just applied the dip which isnt good for natural nails. After waiting for months to get my nails tended to, not getting what I expected was disappointing. The pedicures are good. I did feel uncomfortable as the lady who does eye brows kept starring at me and coming over to the outside station. I tried to converse as I didnt want to be rude and jeopardize more disappointment with the service but it was uncomfortable. My eyebrows werent shaped they way I described however, I just rolled with what I got! They are very expensive, everything (dip (they dont manicure as it should be, pedicure, eyebrow) totaled $98!!! I wish the salon in the east bay was open because they would taken good care of me at half the cost. Lastly, I made an appointment for 2 weeks out, not knowing that when that time came I would have an emergency to tend to. I called the shop at 10a no answer. I waited as I tended to my emergency and received a missed called from the shop. I called back and asked to reschedule and the lady, who did my eyebrows told me I cant schedule another appointment because I didnt call. However, I did call. Side note: this is the 2nd time Ive called and they havent answered. Again, I felt uncomfortable as it was unprofessional; I tried to call/reschedule and they choose to not make that option available. Mind you, I was never rude to them and tipped everyone despite the service. Its suck that were treated in strange ways because of skin tone however, my demeanor is always pleasant. It sucks even more that they refused to reschedule my appt and was extremely rude on the phone. I will not be coming back here ever again!
They took me last minute about 1 1/2 hr before closing time on a Sunday without apptI thought they did a good job also pretty friendly.
Been here twice and both times nails were well done + nail polish lasts, good price :)
My first time at K Spa was wonderful. They were very kind, attentive, patient and respectful. They catered to my needs and wants so I will definitely be going back.
My friend and I have been going to get our nails done for the past few months now since after the COVID we found K Spa and we both love My..she has been nothing but super sweet and nice to both of us and we drive from Hayward every few weeks to see her..she makes sure that we are both happy when we leave her place and we don’t mind driving down to San Mateo to get our nails done.
Had the best manicure and pedicure I have had in my life! You’ve got to go there. Very detailed and exacting. I am so happy with the results!!!!!
They are extremely accommodating. Recommended.
K Spa has been a wonderful place for a relaxing mani-pedis. They are extremely accommodating, especially with COVID-19. Very safe environment to be in.
They were nice but the quality of the fill job was horrible! One nail is indented and will need to be cut back and for being there for an hour, he did a whole lot of nothing. Also, I felt their prices were too expensive for the job as well. An acrylic fill with regular polish was $38.00! Ugh!!
Great! Able to make appointment and covid screenings are being taken ! No chip has lasted me about 3 weeks and still going strong
Wife and I had a pedicure! My first, and my nails never looked so good! Wish I could go weekly! Manicure is next! The place is comfortable and the technicians very up beat and professional!
My new go to place! Everyone is so friendly and takes their time. The facility is very clean and they use a lot of organic products. My gel mani/pedi is beautiful!
I’ve never been so disrespected by someone providing me a service that I’m paying for. I originally had a 10:30am appointment for a pedicure. I was running behind so, instead of just showing up late I called to let her know I’d be able to be there at 10:45am to make sure they’d be able to do the service. The woman who answered, I’m assuming is the owner or manages the place, advised that she didn’t have anyone available until 1:00pm. I told her to put me down for that time and that I would go then. She was somewhat rude on the phone, but I just figured sometimes the cultural differences and language barrier can sometimes come off this way unintentionally so I let it be. I arrived to my rescheduled 1:00 appointment 15 minutes early. I stood at the desk and waited for someone to come up to the desk to check me in. The nail tech that was closest to the front desk got up from an ongoing manicure service and she greeted me and asked me to pick a color, I told her I brought my own. She then asked me to sit on one of the pedicure chairs and to soak my feet for a few minutes. I informed her that I had gel on because I know that it takes time to have that removed. There were 2 other nail techs in ongoing pedicure services so there were 3 nail techs in total in ongoing services and none of them looked anywhere close to being done by 1:00pm. After 10 minutes past 1:00pm I asked the woman who checked me in to confirm my appointment time just Incase I was confused with the time and she said my appointment was at 1:00pm and she asked why I was asking. I told her I wouldn’t be able to wait any longer because I had a 2:00pm wax appt elsewhere she said sorry I just don’t have anyone available and I told her that just like she expected me to be on time I expected her to be on time and that if she wasn’t going to be able to have someone do the service to be done by 1:45 then I would not be able to do it at all. She said well then leave, go. She put up the arm rest and insisted I leave. I asked her for a towel to dry my pruned feet and she refused to give me a towel. I got up and had to look for one myself and she got upset that I took the liberty of looking for something to dry my feet. She kept telling me to leave and I kept telling her I didn’t understand how she would expect me to leave with my feet soaking wet. The other nail tech felt bad and even apologized to me quietly as if to not have the rude woman hear her. I am still in shock and can’t believe this just happened.
Ive been to this place three times. The first two times were fine. But this last time created quite a scare for me. The lady kept digging at the cuticles in my big toe until I screamed with pain. She did not speak English so all she could say was sorry. I found my big toe bleeding badly. I went home hoping I would not get an infection. I will not ever go back. I think their ladies do not have much training on hygiene and nail care.
My and her team always take such great care of their customers. Relaxing and professional.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a mani pedi. There was no one else in the place, yet it was one of the fastest manis Ive ever had, as if they were trying to get through a line. My pedi was a bit slower, more relaxed. Both looked ok at the end, well see how long they last. $50 for the two, not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either.
Very good value.
Great experience & no wait
Very good job
They left them super thick, they didnt take the time and they made them very fast, they look bad.
