Well my Jeep was in for service but Im also in the market for a Grand Cherokee L Limited. I wandered around the lot for a good 10 minutes, no one approached me. Went into the showroom, was there another good 10 minutes, no one approached me. Went outside and took pics of the vehicle Im interested in, no one approached me. Seems like the sales people were more interested in their phones or bsing in the sales tower than talking to customers.Service staff are friendly though.
I just recently joined The Jeep Nation. I took my Gladiator for routine maintenance and the staff were great. They had me in and out of there in jiffy. I came back because I had an issue with one of the features that wasnt working. I have to admit that it took longer than I expected. HOWEVER, the service department was really good about keeping me informed of the status, and they made sure the issue was completely resolved. For that, I give them a pass. With that said, my experience, so far, has been a great one.
Found a 21 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited on their website that with a couple of exceptions, had the options I was looking for. Contacted the dealership through the website and received a text and 3 emails, but no return calls. I had to reach out to actually talk with someone.....I believe his name was Rex (hope this is correct). I asked if there were any dealer markups, and he said yes, called some customer care package or something to that effect. I explained that I dont pay those fees, frankly think any dealership that charges markups are disingenuous. He stated that he would check with his manager to wave that fee. I asked that he send me a out the door price breakdown and never received anything. I understand that dealer inventories are at all time lows and that its exceptionally difficult for the dealerships and not where they would like, however, Im not kicking tires....Im a serious customer and dont care to be dismissed because a raised an objection to some nefarious fee. I need a manager to reach out to me to discuss. Simply not acceptable.

We drove an hour to visit Larry Jones in sales and we were not disappointed. He was very knowledgeable, polite and down right professional. Next we met Dominique Tovar in finance which took the experience to the next level. She was very humble and down to earth. I don’t look forward to the finance stage but I would work with her any day. It was great to see true professionals at work who care and go the extra mile. Customer care still exists and they made our day. This was by far the best car buying experience Ive had! Drove 80 miles from home for a specific vehicle and do not regret it. Dylan Silver was our salesman and was fantastic! Excellent customer service! Dom in finance was amazing as well! Got the car we wanted for the price we needed. Will be sure to visit soon to trade in my Ford Edge. The service team is great. I spoke with Gilbert the service manager and he bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of. The service advisor, Rolando, was the best! He communicated with us every step of the way. They fixed my son’s a/c and did all the recall updates. Very thorough. Customer service is awesome! Would highly recommend!
To say the least, my experience with this dealership could have been better. I want to believe my associate wanted to be more helpful than they actually were, but Ive come to the realization that maybe the bare minimum was all I required at the time of purchase, as I wasnt in a good place (which Im sure the sales associate could sense). I dont like the new car. At all. The vehicle has none of the features I asked for, and is worse than my previous vehicle in every conceivable way, although the current is 4 years newer. It didnt even come with floor mats and needs a new manual. My associate kept mentioning they usually full up the tank and do a service check, but I suppose there wasnt time in my case. Additionally, the associate did not use my approved lender, but rather, took the opportunity to use my credit information to apply for finance with the dealership. As much as I applaud the dealership for getting the deal done on both sides, I remain cautious of car dealers who use sleezy tactics to finance vehicles to underprivileged citizens under their terms, but I suppose I am still learning about these things myself. I do not recommend, unless you are an experienced car buyer who has purchased at least 4 previous vehicles.
Horrible service in comparison to Southpoint dodge. When I pulled up to service I had to get out of my car and drag one of the service guys out. I was there for a recall on my van. A week goes by so Im curious as to the status of the parts on order so I call the service dept. After a very long wait a guy named Steve answers and without looking my info up says yeah let me patch you through to parts and you can ask them. Seriously?? It was his job to call parts and find out. At the end of the day if the parts were there should I have had to call Steve back up and inform him that the parts arrived? Should I then looked up an available slot on their system to see when they could do the work? Should I then go out back and I stall the parts myself?? What a joke of a service department, a complete embarrassment.
I HATE buying vehicles. I always dread the experience, especially being a woman. The waiting, the high pressure to purchase extra, such as extended warranty....but WOW! I had the BEST experience at this dealership. I was never pressured into anything. All my questions were answered. Everyone was genuine and helpful. Zack was my salesman and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The process was relatively quick. I would recommend buying from this dealership 1000%. Thank you all, I LOVE my truck!!
Holy WOW. From test driving with Joey, to details/paperwork with Mike D, and finance with Queen Dominique, WOW WOW WOW. This was my very first car buying experience (on my own) and I couldnt have gone to a better dealership. Everyone was extremely welcoming, informative, and made me feel so comfortable. Yesterday I bought a brand new 2021 Green Challenger, 5.7 Hemi RT, and learned so much from Joey (salesman), Mike Dyers (Comm Direc.), and Dominque (Queen of Finance). I had an excellent experience with Larry who negotiated the deal with me over the phone then had all the paperwork ready when I arrived. Very good experience overall and as simple as it could be.
Set an appointment at 8:15 am on Friday and my car didn’t get looked at until mid-afternoon the next day. Took it in for transmission and door sensor problems. Dealership said they would call with updates and never did. I had to call multiple times to check the status of my car. Sometimes, my phone call wouldn’t even be answered. On top of that, it was Labor Day weekend and I expressed that I needed my car for travel. Dealership said they understood and would call by the end of the day with an update so that I could pick up my car. Never did. As a result, my car sat at the dealership all weekend and I was unable to travel. When I went to pick up my car, they told me all the things wrong with it and said I needed a new transmission telling me that flushing the fluid and putting in new would do more harm than good and highly recommended I buy a new transmission instead. I don’t like to be played a fool especially since I have a small mechanical background and learned many things from my father. I do not recommend anyone get service from this dealership.
We just bought a 2500 Ram from this dealership and all we can say is WOW!!!! It goes without saying our new Ram 2500 Limited Longhorn Edition is AWESOME!! We are on our first camping trip with it now and it tows like a dream!! But we have never experienced anything like this dealership, especially a car dealership. EVERYONE is so courteous and helpful, from the sales people, to parts, to service, to finance, etc. We are so glad that we bought our truck from this dealership!!! Consider buying your next vehicle from them and you won’t be sorry!

I’m never going back cool experience with my first car, but the second car not good. I went to take my new car for its first oil change. Hand my keys to the guy and when he gets in my car starts revving my engine as he is taking it to the back! Very unprofessional in my opinion! Secondly I randomly end up with a gash in my door! So I call and ask what happened and why is there now a gash in my drivers side door. The guy told me he’d check the cameras and have the service manager call me back and explain what he saw. It’s been almost over a week and I’ve yet to receive a call. I take very good care of my cars and for them not to give me an explanation of how that got there is unprofessional! This was definitely the last car I’m buying from them!

I’ve been meaning to write this since mid-May when I brought my Jeep in suddenly. I had just moved here from Indiana and was at the outlets when my jeep locks went out and radio started glitching— a sure sign my battery is about to die. I’m a young woman, honestly zero idea about cars, so I was completely freaked out, and Chris somehow squeezed me in with only an hour or so left in the day. (I’m pretty sure his name was Chris ? Moved from up North, very pleasant guy). He was so, SO helpful to me. Got my Jeep fixed super quick and ran me through what everything was, and came out very affordable. I couldn’t be happier, makes me wish I was in Texas permanently just becauee I love this dealership so much. Have recommended it to any and everyone guest I can at the resort I’m working at.
I personally don’t like driving Dodge but every time we come here, (my husband loves Dodge) we get great service and are helped out a lot. We have bought 4-5 trucks here because of the great service. This time I changed my Chevy for Dodge and we will see how that goes … I know that anything we need we just call and they help us. Our go to guy is Xavier and he is awesome and very helpful. Chevrolet was giving us a hard time and we spent there like 4 hours, when we came here, we were given an answer within 30 mins.
Had waited over 2 and a half hours for a simple oil change and inspection. Was told by Jorge that he would let me know when my car was ready. He never let me know and when I had to talk to the general manager he got it all taken care of. George tried to charge me the full price on the oil change when I had a free service and never came and told me that they never did the inspection in which they were suppose to. Overall the manager was really helpful and had very good customer service.

Went for a oil change for my first time and had such good customer service. Definitely recommend them. Also came out cheaper then expected so thats a plus! Will definitely be going back!
The service department was helpful and kept me informed of my vehicle repairs. The service advisor Steve was great st calling me back as promised to review repairs and they were happy to work with my extended warranty even though the warranty (aplha warranty which I dont recommend) was useless. The shop did a great job and did it fast.
All I can say is WOW!!! We went to look at a Dodge Ram Crew cab 2500 4x4 Cummins found one that we liked. We were in & out with a trade in and ALL the paperwork in less than 1.5hrs from start to finish done just like that. I have never been to a dealership and done so quickly. Usually average time would be about 3hrs. or so. Thank you Armando Sanchez and All of the San Marcos Dealership Staff that helped us and made it happen. 😀👍
Chris was right there when I got out of the car and immediately got me started on an oil change and state inspection. He kept me informed often about the progress and said it would take about an hour. And happily it was just an hour!The last few times I had been in for service was horrible. Couldnt find anyone available to get my oil change started and the last time the man said it would be about 2 hours, I was there 3 hours.Since I live in New Braunfels, I was giving it one last time and if the service hadnt improved I would have started taking my business to someone local to me.

I scheduled my jeep to have recall work done. While waiting in the customer lounge (for 4 hours) I noticed more customers coming in.. long story short... I had a scheduled appointment for recall work (re-flash of the ecu and transmission) but someone getting a service was in an out before my vehicle was even looked at. The entire 4 hours I was never updated on where my vehicle was. The first 2 and half / 3 hours it sat in the service staging lane. While I appreciate the cleanliness of the employees as well as waiting room, I was unsatisfied at the speed of which they handled recall work. As a motorcycle technician I understand times get busy but recall work is usually prioritized higher as it is a safety issue not a normal service or repair. I gave 4 stars because I know there are bad days, and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I will be back the next time I need something so the next review may reflect the dealership better.
Thought I was purchasing a vehicle talked to sales rep and put a deposit down just needed the check from our corporate office to purchase. Was told sorry we are canceling the deal the night before we were going to pick up, because someone offered to pay more money. What was the point of taking my $1500 if you were going to sell to anyone. Will never do business with this company which is a shame since we buy vehicles every 2-3 years to replace our current ones. Horrible business practices.
Very misleading dealership. They put up two adds on the car sites advertising a car for 22,995 and another for 23,250. They mentioned nothing about hail damage. When I found the cars on their website I managed to see the fine print that this was a hail damage discount - ok fine. Ill go with that. Then I call and they say there is no hail damage to either of these cars, and would have to add an additional 4000 to both those price tags. They lie about the price or the discounts to get you in the door.

Came here to purchase a 2021 dodge rt Durango, That was priced at 54,800! alex proceeded to tellme he was raising the price to 59,800. when i asked the explanation for the raise, he was speechless and proceeded to explain the reason the price went up was because of window tent, and it is a rt. i was a victim of prize gauging at its finest, they seen a lettered up work truck, so they target me for Racial profiling! alex was the salesmen and was directed to me but the fiancé manger! do not buy from here. they charge want they want not what the vehicles are stickered.

First time visiting. I acquired a Dodge pickup after my grandfather passed. The gentlemen I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable, and great customer service. I feel like many service departments try to upsale you on things, or services. These guys did not, and I appreciated that so much!
DO NOT TRUST!!! My parents just tried to buy a new TRX from these guys, they cashed a $38k deposit and sold the truck to someone else! With all the other reports of shady deals, bad warranties, and not honoring rebates, who knows what else they’ve done, and I untold 1000’s they’ve walked off from on lesser deals.

The Key Fob wasnt being recognized in my Jeep. First time experience with this dealership. I bought my Jeep with the dealership in New Braunfels, TX and it was a horrible experience. I should have walked out, it was that unprofessional. However, I love my Jeep and the service I experienced with San Marcos, TX, In particular Rolando, was exceptional! He was very informative and courteous. The problem was fixed in a day and also a recall done. I will definitely go back.
Warning: Went in to look at a used vehicle that was posted on their website for one price, but when I got there it was being serviced and the price would likely change after whatever cost they incurred while servicing it. Could be $3,000 more and the manager could decide not to sell it but send it to auction. Bait & Switch 101.
Just have had a weird time with them. Purchased a 2021 Ram and left multiple messages with the title manager and the operator and have her to get a call back on my personal plates. Sales when I drove by hasn’t been very helpful. I can understand COVID but it’s been almost 6 months…
Found the exact car I wanted and Robert was phenomenal! He had my Blazer ready when I got there, got me the price I wanted and everything was a breeze. The only issue I had was with the representative that was there for the private event that was being held. He was very rude and clearly everyone there knew it. Had a very ugly conversation with him since he decided to butt in without knowing what was even going on. Had I had that conversation 5 minutes earlier, I would not have purchase the vehicle here. Aside from that my experience was great and didnt take very long. If your looking for a GREAT salesman definitely give Robert Fitzpatrick a call!

I called to purchase a 2014 Mercedes S550 on some special day they were having over at dodge of San Marcos. They told me to speak to some guy named “Myron”. I honestly don’t complain about much but THIS GUY WAS SO RUDE! I honestly have no idea how this guy has a job working there, he was very sarcastic and raised his voice at me multiple times. Everyone else there was on point, very generous and respectful but that guy is the reason I didn’t buy the car. I went to carmax and got a 2017 bmw 540 with very low miles which I’m perfectly happy with. I’m sure I’m not the only person that’s had a problem with him please look into it. Thank you!

AVOID this place AT ALL COST!! They used bait and switch tactics, false advertising their vehicles online. BUT that is just the start! The sales team members the the most dishonest people we have ever encountered (Rami and Xavier, especially). When they couldnt find the truck we purchased, they lied and said it was getting tint done. So they gave us a POS rental car, since we already traded our car for the new truck. They promised us the tint would be done the next day, so we come back only to find out the truck was never getting tint.. IT WAS BROKEN!Their web of lies starts to unravel so we cancel the deal. They then proceeded to tell us our check had already been cashed, which was also a lie. So we had to come back Monday to pick up the new check.... come to find out they suddenly found our check and it was never cashed.This dealership gave us the absolute WORST experience. Each person we interact3ed with lied to us at some point or another.. again ESPECIALLY RAMI AND XAVIER! They are scamming people left and right and should be held accountable for their shady and pathetic attempt of running a business.Drive an extra hour if you have to, but DONT come here!! Trust me, youll regret it and waste your time!

Chris was fantastic helping me with my Jeep. My car ended up taking longer than originally quoted and failed to let me know until the last minute. They also did not offer me a rental car to use while my car was being serviced, even though I was without a car for 5 days. Upon picking up my car I talked to the manager and they offered me a couple free oil changes to make up for the miscommunications. I’ll still return, just be sure to be on top of them next time.
The whole experience was fast and painless. I usually take my vehicle there to get serviced. Josh, in service, introduced me to Alex in sales. He listened to what I wanted and land the perfect truck for me. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

We took the dealerships shuttle to Twin Peaks and enjoyed an adult beverage while my truck was being serviced. Steve and Marco were able to make this happen for us.I definitely look forward to getting much oil changed and truck serviced in the future.
Been a great experience across the board. I bought a lightly used ram 1500 from Xavier who really took care of me and made the whole process easy. Had a check engine light on a few months later and I brought it by to Erik in the service department and they found the issue quickly and got it fixed at a great price. Got my truck back all cleaned up and they didn’t try to sell me anything unnecessary. 10/10 would recommend the dealership from sales through service.
Awesome experience from beginning to end. Worked with Mike to buy my new jeep. Walked me through the entire process from making my custom order to securing the financing. You wont find an easier experience than this. Last thing Ill mention, I didnt actually test drive at this dealership and tried one I Houston because they had a deal. Big mistake, the other dealership was extremely pushy and badgered me to make a decision then and there. Mike and his team recognized this was a big investment and let me go at my own pace. Id give 6 stars if I could.
I dropped off my vehicle to get my transmission checked, and I was kept up to date throughout the time my vehicle was at their shop. I was given options when it was time for a repair, and now my vehicle is running on all cylinders.
Mike was such a great help! He gave me what I wanted and was super straightforward! My family loves working with him and I’m glad my first car was sold to me by him!!

Extremely unprofessional and scummy dealership. The sleezy salesman, Robert, tried to gouge the price by $12,000 on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee after he had shown me the original price of $45,000. I’m shocked this dealership has 4.2 stars. The couple next to us was interested in buying as well and their salesman (didn’t get the name) had gouged their price and they walked away as well. Absolutely horrible and unprofessional sales department. I will not be returning and if I could rate them 0 stars, I would.
Purchased a vehicle, radio stopped working that same day. It took them a month for what they said was a “two day job.” In the meantime the salesman Eddie was attempting to set my mother up with his single friends. The point of contact Cody was just as bad if not worse that the original salesman. Cody tried to play what he called “hardball” and ended up cursing at me.

Had a great salesman by the name of Benny, who took great care of my wife and I. Very friendly very honest and worked hard to get us a very good deal. On the backside however, wasn’t necessarily thrilled by the salesman who was pushing us for aftermarket warranties and would not take no for an answer. Make sure you discuss and understand the warranties before agreeing to purchase the truck as you will get a different story during the final step of purchase with the salesman pushing the aftermarket warranty.

Will try to deceive you and not be fully transparent as it pertains to price of the vehicle you want or what your trade is worth.Ran my credit and came back with ridiculous financing options when I had already discussed what I was willing to pay. Please stay away and do business elsewhere, plenty of other dealerships who WILL treat you right with full transparency!
Inconsistent, untrustworthy, overpriced, pushy, and RUDEBy far the worst experience we’ve had buying a car. Don’t even bother looking at the sticker price or putting any stock into the “numbers” they give you when test driving because after they “talk to their manager” they can’t uphold anything they said. Ended up paying $4k above sticker price with the WORST customer service. From cussing at the desk, to flat out lying about things said prior, this dealership has the poorest quality and least ethical sales people we’ve ever dealt with.They force you to pay 1,198 extra (after taxes and everything else) to supposedly put nitrogen in the tires, stickers on the doors, a protective coat on the paint, and something for the tint. Apparently non-negotiable (“if you don’t like it you don’t have to buy the car”, direct quote).List of negative experience:- after test drive we were given numbers and agreed to most things, but then upon our second visit, they said that it never happened. Didn’t directly call me a liar, but said that “the manager wouldn’t lie”, then wouldn’t let us talk to the mgr- we were told there would be a detailed inspection report. Still haven’t received it- cussed at the desk and got visibly frustrated at the fact we didn’t want to pay for nitrogen in tires or to have vin stickers put on doors for a whopping $1200- said they would deliver the car, then all of a sudden couldn’t make it because they didn’t want to hit traffic- be ready to pay way more than the sticker, it’s not even closeAll in all an overwhelmingly frustrating experience.
Im surprised this dealer has an average of 4.2 stars, they will bait and switch on prices. Prices on website are really good, then they will say those arent the actual numbers . Saw a truck going for 52 k and I called and they told me they retail @68k. Do yourself a favor and dont go to this dealership.

Bait and switch dealership. The dealership had Laramies selling for 37K via the online sales website. After calling to confirm, driving an hour and a half to see the vehicle, they told me it was 49K after all rebates. I argued the price and rebates. They then brought the truck down to 46K then 43K and finally 41k. It took about 3 days to negotiate from a far as the dealership did not want to honor their online price at 37K. As soon as I left, the online price moved to 40K and they still did not want to honor it. I purchased my vehicle simply because I was in a position to do so.They didn’t want to show me any numbers to begin with and had to tell the sales rep to stop playing games and show me the itemized sheet. Originally they tried to get me to purchase the truck at 48 months, a 13-14 hundred dollar payment, and which was a 20% interest rate. I wasn’t able to see final interest or finalize my plans until I met with the finance manager and after he prepared all the paper work. They said that’s what they have to offer people who need help. there were several other customers who openly said they were being taken advantage of. I highly recommend that you have good financing options available and understand how the market works before going here any buying.

Rolando took his time in explaining to me what was going on with my vehicle and the steps I needed to follow to make sure that any warranty issues that might happen with my vehicle would be covered and made the process less stressful. Everyone at this dealership is helpful and kind and it is so refreshing to experience stellar treatment.
Two were nice by phone (Gilbert and Rolando) and gave me the pricing I asked for which made me pick their dealership for service work. In person someone else found me in the very small and not clean customer lobby to ask me if they gave me pricing before I came and then asked me what that was. That concerned me, the way it was asked, as if pricing for a service was not the same for everyone. Fortunately they accepted the 15% discount i found on their website, but overall I was not pleased with the experience. Would not return to this Dodge dealership.
Warning* call before you go to the dealership to view the car and also get the correct pricing. my boyfriend drove from Austin to San Marcos 5/19 to check out a car that was listed at a certain price. he made the trip bc when we called 5/18 they wanted us to go by to check the car out. Turns out the car is being loaned to an employee (for who knows how long**value of car decreasing) and also the price on the website isnt the real price of the car. also there is some time of fee this dealership charges that isnt a normal charge. will never recommend this place to anyone.
